It's hard to guarantee that her letter wasn't 'artistically embellished' by the troupe leader.

"What if they really become a couple... Klee, would you have a problem with that?"

"Opinion? Why?" Claire didn't understand.

“It’s like your brother being taken away… or something,” Funina said.

"No way! Captain Jean wouldn't steal Richard away. She's such a good person! Even if she and Richard become lovers, she'll still treat Keli very well!" Keli replied confidently.

Before Funina could continue speaking, Klee added, "I hope that Funina can also become Richard's lover, and be with Jean!"

Furninna: !!!

"You can't say things like that!" Funina said hurriedly. If others heard this, they would misunderstand!

"Klee isn't talking nonsense. Doesn't Sister Funina want to become Richard's lover?" Klee asked, puzzled.

"No way! I'm the water goddess, how could I possibly want to fall in love with one of my own people!" Funina replied immediately. Her relationship with Richard hadn't reached that point yet, and besides, given her current situation, she had no room to consider her personal affairs...

Keli looked at Furna and thought that Furna was good in every way, except that she liked to lie too much.

Volume 1: Chapter 61 Furina: How utterly shameless! (4K)

Furness didn't come away empty-handed from Claire's side; at least she learned what a caring older brother Richard really was.

And how much Cleo, this good little sister, hoped that her brother could have two women on his arms and enjoy the blessings of having two wives.

Although Fryna came to Klee to find out Richard's preferences, she didn't run away after achieving her goal like the other "older sisters" Klee had encountered before.

Furness really did spend the whole afternoon playing with Keli, and she seemed to enjoy it very much.

Fryna told Claire the story of Miss Shebereda, a story she had stumbled upon in the library, and the names of the members of the Lonely Hearts Salon were all taken from this book.

Perhaps because the story wasn't intended for children, Klee only understood a little bit of it, but that didn't stop her from appreciating how interesting the story was.

It wasn't that Furnessa was particularly good at storytelling, but rather that she summoned the members of the Lonely Hearts Salon and, together with Klee, put on a little Lonely Hearts Salon skit.

As a star in Fontainebleau, Furina personally guided the newcomer to the theater, little Keli. When she encountered difficulties in the performance, she did not hesitate to encourage her and overcome the hardships together, ultimately completing the performance.

Putting aside everything else, Fu Ningna is definitely skilled at taking care of children.

Klee had a great time in the detention room today. Not only did she have delicious afternoon tea, but her acting skills also improved a lot. Next time she gets caught by Jean, her chances of getting away with it by being cute will greatly increase.

And little Cleo became more and more certain that her older sister Furnessa was a really good person.

Klee's Affection Level - MAX

Little Cleo thought to herself, "If only I could be Richard's lover along with Captain Jean."

"Alright, Claire, happy times are always fleeting, and even the best performances eventually come to an end. It's getting late, and I should go back to work." Furnessa glanced at the clock and realized it was almost dinnertime.

She should return to the mission's base and continue playing the role of the water goddess.

"Okay... goodbye, Fryna." Although Klee was very reluctant to see Fryna leave, she still obediently waved goodbye to her.

Klee knew that her sister Frynn, like Jean, had work to do, and that Frynn, as the goddess of water, certainly had even more work to do than Jean.

"Gods, you must be having a hard time!" Klee thought to herself.

Inside a tavern owned by the Dawn Winery, Wendy, waving her premium membership card, sneezed loudly.

Shortly after Furna left, two more guests arrived at Claire's confinement room: Richard and Aberdo.

"Brother Richard! Brother Abedo! Have you finished your business?" Claire exclaimed in surprise.

“Yes, thanks to Richard’s help, the experiment was able to proceed smoothly,” Abedo said.

“No need to be so polite. You are family to me and Klee. It’s only natural for family members to help each other, just like you’ve been taking care of Klee all this time. If you’d like, I can help you take care of the other ‘troubles’ on Dragonspine Mountain as well.” Richard said with a gentle smile.

“Other… troubles.” Abedo was clever; with Richard’s prompting, he quickly figured out what trouble Richard was referring to.

Abedo is not a normal human being; he is the creation of the alchemist Rhinedot, the final product of the Original Project, a fact that Abedo himself is well aware of.

Where there are finished products, there are also corresponding failures. The failed experimental products of the past have not completely disappeared; they still exist in a corner of the Dragon Ridge Snow Mountain.

The trouble Richard was referring to was the product that failed in the Rhinedoth experiment. Perhaps due to the remains of the poison dragon Durin and some external factors, the failed product seemed to have regained signs of life.

Richard noticed this while helping Abedo complete his experiment in the Dragon Ridge Mountains, so he gave Abedo a heads-up.

After all, Richard didn't want to return to Mondstadt one day to find that his original family had been replaced by an imposter.

“I will keep an eye on it, but I’ll handle this myself,” Abedo nodded in reply.

“Just say the word if you need help. It might be a hassle for you, but it’s just a small favor for me.” Richard saw that Abedo had his own ideas, so he didn’t say anything more.

He then looked at Klee beside him and asked softly, "Klee, are you bored staying in the solitary confinement room all day? Tomorrow your brother will be free, and we can sneak you out to play."

"Not boring at all! Klee is very happy today because Sister Furina played with her all afternoon!" Klee said.

"Furina?" Richard was taken aback, not expecting that the Water God would actually play with Klee.

However, upon closer reflection, it's because of my trip to Dragonridge Mountain, coupled with the recent unrest in Mondstadt.

With little ability to protect herself, Fryna naturally wouldn't dare to wander around without her protection. It's not impossible that the idle water god would come to visit Klee.

Perhaps Fryna is also hoping to get information about herself from Klee.

"Yes, Sister Furina is rehearsing a play with Claire in the room. Besides us, there's Miss Sheberida, Lady Hevima, and Lord Uther. Everyone is very, very interesting!"

Keli's eyes lit up when she talked about this, which shows how much fun she had with Funina this afternoon.

“In that case, I must thank Lady Funina properly.” Richard stroked his chin, deciding not to make things difficult for this lovely water goddess regarding the issue of ‘reward’.

After all, the fact that the other person was able to spend an afternoon playing with Claire, making up for the absence of him, was already a great reward for Richard.

At least in Richard's eyes, Klee's happiness was far more important than any Heart of God.

How could the smile of a little angel compare to a mere piece of the remains of a Third Adventist?

"Lady Funina, is that the water goddess you mentioned before?"

Abedo was clearly unaware that he had been marked as 'highly problematic' by Funina.

“As a god, the fact that you are willing to take care of Klee shows that you two get along very well,” Abedo said to Richard.

“Furina is indeed a good friend. If possible, I would like to borrow your ‘Sword of Corruption’.” Richard thought for a moment and came up with a return gift for Furina.

“No problem,” Abedo replied.

After having dinner with Claire and Abedo, Richard did not go back to his own home, but instead went to the vicinity of the Fontaine Mission's embassy.

Richard happened to run into Funina, who was taking a walk after dinner to digest her food. Funina was squatting in front of the embassy's flower bed, staring intently at the flowers, muttering something to herself. Richard could only catch a few words when he got closer.

"Little kitty, stop running! Come here! I'm going to arrest you for illegal entry!"

Legally speaking, the Fontaine embassy in Mondstadt is indeed considered part of Fontaine territory.

The kitten from Mondstadt trespassed into Fontaine without official permission, and it is only natural that Frynn, as the water goddess, has the highest law enforcement authority to arrest it.

However, the kitten had no idea about these intricacies. In its eyes, Funina was an evil two-legged creature that wanted to hug and pet it, and since there was no padding on its chest, it must be very uncomfortable for the cat. It didn't want to be hugged by her!

"G! Don't go!" Fu Ningna watched as the cute kitten slipped away from the flower bed and hurriedly called out to try to stop it.

Unfortunately, for a kitten that was already determined to leave, this only hastened its departure.

The cats of Mondstadt are born free!

"Does Lady Funina really like small animals?" Richard suddenly asked.

"Eek!" Furnessa was startled by the sudden sound. She turned around and found Richard standing behind her without her noticing.

"You scared me! Richard, when did you get back? Have you finished everything?" Funina patted her flat chest to calm her frightened young heart.

“Everything has been taken care of. Lady Frynn, is there anywhere you would like to go next? I can accompany you. Our trip to Mondstadt will end in two days, and it would be a shame not to explore it properly,” Richard said.

"Really?" Funina's eyes lit up.

However, perhaps feeling that this was not in accordance with the behavior expected of a deity, Funina quickly coughed lightly and said:

"I'm fine with anything, you decide what to do. If you really want to explore Mondstadt properly, I can go with you. After all, we still have plenty of funds this time, and it would be a real headache for the various departments to spend them all, right?"

Having served as the Executive Minister for some time, Furina was clearly aware of the shady dealings surrounding departmental budgets. If they didn't find a way to spend all the funds, it meant there was room for saving, and the next batch of approved funds might be reduced.

Cutting funds would be an unbearable burden for any department.

In a sense, Funina's use of funds for travel can be seen as a contribution to the various departments of the Momeng Palace.

Richard was already used to Funina's insincerity, so when her words reached his ears, they were automatically transcribed as: "Okay, okay, take me out to play! Anywhere is fine with me, I'll cover all the expenses!"

"How was Dragon Ridge? Abedo and I also prepared a gift for you to thank you for keeping Keli company this afternoon," Richard said with a smile.

"Ah...you knew all along." Furnessa's eyes were a little unfocused. Although she had a lot of fun afterwards, she hadn't forgotten her original purpose in going to find Klee.

Now that the person involved is bringing up this matter, Fu Ningna inexplicably feels an urge to be caught doing something wrong.

Upon hearing that the other party had also prepared a gift for her, she felt even more guilty.

“Just now when Keli was having dinner with me and Abedo, she mentioned that Sister Funina is a very good person and hopes that Sister Funina will be with Commander Qin…” Richard was interrupted halfway through his sentence by Funina, whose pretty face was already flushed.

"The kid was just joking! Don't take it seriously! I... I didn't have those kinds of thoughts! You should have some self-respect!"

Furina thought that Claire had told Richard that she and Jean wanted to be his girlfriends, and worried that Richard would misunderstand, so she quickly clarified.

Richard slowly typed a question mark, not understanding why Funina was in such a hurry.

"Lady Furna, don't you enjoy playing with Klee?" Richard asked.

“What does this have to do with whether I like playing with Klee or not? You can’t blame yourself for this happening!” Furina said, blushing.

How could you say such a thing to my face! You're so shameless!

Three people?! That's absolutely, absolutely unacceptable!

If it were just me... no, why would I be thinking about this!

For a moment, Funina was in a state of utter confusion, her mind racing with thoughts. She didn't even know what she was thinking, so she could only lower her head, fidgeting with her fingers, and dare not look at Richard.

"Is it... my fault?" Richard pointed to himself. Although he didn't know why Funina would say that, he had a feeling that she might have misunderstood something.

"If it's not your fault, who else is it? Besides you, who else would want me to be with Commander Qin... to be with her..." Funina couldn't bring herself to say the rest; she simply couldn't bring herself to say it!

“Lady Furna, do you consider it a shameful thing to play with Claire alongside Jean?” Richard frowned.

“Of course… wait, what did you just say?” Funina realized what was happening and looked up at Richard.

“I mean, do you think it’s a shameful thing to play with Claire alongside Jean?” Richard patiently repeated.

“No, no, that’s not what I meant. I meant… wait…” Funina quickly waved her hand. She seemed to realize that there was a misunderstanding, but she didn’t want to explain it to Richard.

You can't exactly tell him that you thought he wanted to have some kind of 'two women sharing one husband' scenario, can you?

What kind of person would she become then?!

Richard noticed Funina's embarrassment and thought it was rather amusing that the flustered water goddess was like this. He sighed with a mischievous grin and said, "Ah, I understand. Lady Funina, I will pass on your message to Klee. I hope she won't be too heartbroken."

"That's not what I meant! Richard, I order you not to say that to Claire!" Furness rushed forward, somewhat exasperated, and grabbed Richard's hand fiercely.

It's clear that she was really pushed to the limit by Richard, and she even resorted to administrative orders from the ministers.

"Yes, Lady Funina." Richard stopped teasing her when he saw this.

"So, are we taking Klee with us to Dragonspine Mountain tomorrow?" Richard asked.

“Go!” Funina gave an affirmative answer.

“Okay, I’ve got it. I’ll have the Fontaine delegation liaise with the Mondstadt officials.” Richard nodded.

Just as Richard was about to go inside the embassy to discuss the details, he suddenly turned back to Funina, who was still calmly sitting by the flower bed, and asked:

"By the way, Lady Funina, could you tell me what you misunderstood just now?"

"you are annoying!"

Richard raised his hand to block the bubbles that Mrs. Hevima, who was acting on Furina's instructions, blew towards him, and walked into the embassy with a light laugh.

P.S.: There should be another chapter later, it might be very late, so you might as well read it tomorrow morning. There will be more chapters recently... as a way to make up for the lack of updates when it was first released.

Volume 1: Chapter 62 Dragon Ridge Snow Mountain (3K)

There are two routes to reach Dragonridge Mountain from Mondstadt heading south. One is to take the fork in the road before Windrise and Dadaupa Valley and head south. The other is to pass through Springvale and Dawn Winery and then climb Dragonridge Mountain from a small hill.

The former route is shorter, and the route is basically a straight line between two points with fewer overlapping sections. It is the route chosen by most adventurers to reach Dragonspine Snow Mountain. Moreover, the Adventurers' Guild also has a supply point at the foot of the mountain. The only drawback is that you may encounter monsters such as Hilichurls along the way.

The latter is a little-known path, but because it passes through Clear Spring Town and Dawn Winery, and there is a trade route there, the path is much easier to walk, and monsters are cleared out regularly. The downside is that there are fewer mountain climbing routes to choose from.

Richard and his team chose the former because it was more convenient to reach Abedo's experimental site, and they also passed through Windrise, which is a good tourist attraction.

Early in the morning, Richard and his party met at the gates of Mondstadt. Because it was a private trip and Richard was with her, Frynn did not bring any guards.
