"Oh dear, oh dear, how could I accept this? We're good friends, and this Heart of the Wind God was originally prepared for you. Once this is over, this Heart of the Wind God will be yours." Wendy said apologetically, but her hands didn't slow down at all, quickly stuffing the premium membership card into her pocket.

Thus ended the transaction concerning the Heart of God, and Wendy removed the illusion. Furnessa and Barbara, completely unaware of the shady dealings, continued their enthusiastic discussion about singing and stage performances.

Clearly, with her years of stage experience and innate artistic talent, Funinna quickly won Barbara's admiration.

If it weren't for the lingering sense of Barbara's devout faith in the wind god, Wendy would feel like she'd almost become a follower of the water god.

Perhaps the two are not contradictory?

In any case, Wendy never restricts the beliefs of his people; he is such an enlightened and free god.

After resting for about an hour, the Knights returned first, bringing with them a drop of Wind Dragon Tear. However, this Wind Dragon Tear had not been purified; the crystal, which should have been pure and clear, was now extremely murky and exuded an extremely ominous aura.

This obviously won't help the Sky Harp regain its power; in fact, it might even have the opposite effect.

The previous Wind Dragon Tear had been purified by Luminous. According to Jean, the power that contaminated the Wind Dragon Tear had a strong repulsive effect on elemental power, and it seemed that only Luminous among them had the ability to purify the Wind Dragon Tear.

However, Richard seemed to have his own way. He took out the Wind Dragon Tear from the wooden box and held it up to Funina with both hands.

"W-what are you doing?" Fu Ningna was a little flustered by Richard. Did he think she could purify the Wind Dragon Tear?

Are you kidding me? If she had that ability, she would have already shown herself off, why would she wait until now!

And she's already hidden so far away, why would Richard still come looking for her?

After all this time together, doesn't Richard know her background?

“Lady Funina, please use your divine power to purify this thing.” Richard said, while giving Funina a wink.

Noticing Richard's gaze, Funina immediately understood: "Just going through the motions?" "I know how to do that!"

Like someone who has read through the entire exam paper and finally found a question they know how to answer, Fu Ningna confidently and proudly struck a 'praying' pose.

Then, the Wind Dragon Tear, held aloft by Richard, began to emit a faint light. As time passed, the evil power on the Wind Dragon Tear gradually dissipated, restoring its former purity.

This scene was captured by Charlotte, a reporter who accompanied the Knights on their return. Coincidentally, the angle from which she took the photo perfectly created a wonderful composition, capturing Frynn's holy appearance.

No repositioning was required at all... it was as if it had been meticulously planned in advance.

Based on this one photo alone, Charlotte felt she had already secured this year's Ravel Award.

"It was actually purified! Is this the power of the water goddess Funina? Amazing!" Barbara stared wide-eyed as she witnessed this 'miracle'.

Wendy watched Richard and Furness's performance from the sidelines with a smile and said nothing. Well, let's just say it was a miracle from the water god.

However, judging from Richard's appearance, it seems that he has regained some of his power during his years of traveling through the seven kingdoms.

After finishing her 'prayer', Funina casually smoothed a strand of pure white hair from her forehead and said with a very relaxed expression, "A slightly troublesome power, but it's just a slightly troublesome one."

The implication is that this water god would personally take action to purify a wind dragon teardrop tainted by the power of the abyss—it would be a piece of cake.

"Thank you for your hard work, Lady Funina," Richard said with a smile.

Upon hearing Richard's words, Funina's pretty face flushed slightly; she wasn't shameless enough to accept Richard's praise.

“Well, Richard, you also put in a lot of effort. I will give you the reward you deserve when we get back,” Funina assured her.

After all, while others might not know how the 'Wind Dragon Tear' was purified, how could she not know?

It's all thanks to me, the secretary-general!

Volume 1: Chapter 54 Lady: Richard? Just a pathetic wretch wagging his tail and begging to the water god.

Following the Knights, Ying and her companion Paimon brought back several more drops of Wind Dragon Tears that had been completely purified.

Including the Wind Dragon Tear that Richard purified earlier, restoring the Sky Harp should not be a problem.

Under everyone's watchful eyes, drop after drop of wind dragon crystal merged into the Sky Harp, and as the power of the wind god surged into the crystal, the body of the Sky Harp began to shine again.

You can feel the Sky Harp regaining its former glory, with the wind elements surrounding it forming a visible blue glow.

"The wind element... is overflowing to a lively level. In that case, there shouldn't be any problems." Wendy nodded in satisfaction.

"So, where should we call for Dvalin?" Furna asked curiously, a question shared by everyone present except Richard and Wendy.

“Based on the terrain, Mondstadt is definitely not an option. Not only would it easily cause panic among the masses, but if we fail, it will also result in incalculable losses…” Jean analyzed rationally.

“I think we need to consider the size of the dragon and find an open space, preferably without trees to block the view, so that I can easily record it on camera,” Charlotte suggested.

“The environment also needs to be taken into account. If it’s in a beautiful and comfortable environment, I think the probability of awakening Dvalin’s consciousness would be higher, right?” Paimon also actively expressed his opinion.

"The Sky Harp attracts the Wind Demon Dragon through its music, so it's best to place it in a windy spot. The wind will carry the music far, increasing the chances of Dvalin hearing it," Frynn offered her advice from the perspective of sound propagation.

"Similarly, it's best if the air isn't too dry; Dvarin doesn't like overly dry and oppressive environments." Wendy knows her old friend very well.

Richard, after thoroughly considering everyone's opinions, revealed the location for summoning the dragon that he had prepared long ago.

"So, the only suitable location is Star-Picking Cliff, right?"

Qin had obviously thought of this place as well. "It is indeed a very suitable location, secluded from the world, adjacent to the sea, and with a very nice environment."

Paimon quietly tugged at Ying's sleeve and said, "Are they talking about the place where you slept in last time?"

Ying replied in a low voice, "That's on the mudflats at the foot of Star-Picking Cliff! By the way, aren't you my guide?"

Faced with Ying's complaints, Paimon could only respond with a silly grin.

"Let's get going without delay. The boring prelude is over, it's time for the climax of the show, otherwise the audience will all want refunds," Fu Ningna said, clapping her hands.

"What a strange metaphor, yet it feels strangely apt..." Paimon remarked.

"Hmm? Do you have any objections to my lines?" Funina looked at the emergency food.

"Ah? No, no, what I meant was... yes, Lady Funina!" Paimon quickly waved his hand, then, mimicking Richard's tone, saluted Funina.

“Strange, why don’t you feel anything special when you say that?” Funina frowned.

"What does it feel like?" Paimon asked curiously.

"I can't really explain it. Sometimes I feel at ease, and sometimes I feel anxious... Why am I telling you this?" After realizing what was happening, Funina gave Paimon a somewhat disdainful look.

"What's with all this mystery!" Paimon muttered under his breath, then flew back to Luminous's side and stopped talking to Frynn.

Considering that this mission was to purify Dvalin, not to attack them, and that having too many people might arouse Dvalin's suspicion, Jean decided to leave the rest of the Knights of Favonius to guard Mondstadt, while she, along with Wendy, Luminous, Paimon, Charlotte the reporter, Richard, and Frynn, would head to Starcliff.

Just as the group set off for Starcliff, a group of people were also watching them from the shadows in Mondstadt.

Inside the Fools' quarters, the woman stood by the window, where she could see the crowd emerging from the Cathedral of the West Wind.

"Your Excellency, it has been confirmed that the water goddess Funina and the wind god Barbatos have gone to Star-Picking Cliff to purify the Wind Demon Dragon," the debt collector said, stepping out of the shadows and bowing.

"Got it, the plan can begin. That guy actually came to Mondstadt, and even brought the water god with him, almost ruining my plans. Hmph! But thinking about it, it makes sense, this is, after all, his hometown where he grew up..."

The eighth executive officer of the Fools was clearly very unhappy with Richard's arrival.

Her subordinate, the debt collector, asked hesitantly, "Madam, that person is also here... Won't what we're doing offend them...? I'm sorry!"

Seemingly sensing his superior's displeasure, the debt collector immediately lowered his head, and cold sweat had quietly soaked his mask beneath his hood.

As an elite member of the Fools under the Lady's command, no one knew better than him his boss's capriciousness, or rather... 'madness'.

Beneath her exquisite exterior, her inner self seemed to have long been consumed by the rage known as 'pride' and 'arrogance,' and she was nothing more than a shell driven by hatred as she walked the world.

"That sir? Watch your words. He has betrayed Her Majesty the Queen and lost the protection of the Winter Queen. Now he is nothing but a pathetic wretch begging for mercy from the Water God. Now... he can only talk a good game!" the lady said with a sneer.

The debtor thought of Richard's behavior in front of the water god; he didn't seem like a pitiful wretch begging for mercy at all.

On the contrary, Richard always seemed to have the upper hand in front of the water god, feeling that he was the water god, while Fulina was just a little secretary who provided emotional support to him.

But since the lady had said so, he certainly couldn't refute her, otherwise, given her temperament, he probably wouldn't see the sun rise tomorrow...

"Alright, I have my own plans. You just need to do your jobs. If anything goes wrong... hmph, I don't need to remind you what will happen, do I?"

The woman watched as the group that hunted the dragon gradually disappeared from sight, then finally withdrew her gaze, waved impatiently, and turned to leave the executive officer's office.

"Yes, Madam!" The debt collector bowed respectfully as he saw the woman off, then disappeared into the darkness after she left...

Volume 1: Remarks on the launch

As the title suggests, this is another post about the book's initial sales. This book's early performance was probably the best I've ever written.

Actually, back in version 4.0, I wanted to write a book about Fontaine based on the ideas from "Yes, Minister" / "Yes, Prime Minister". However, considering the unique tendency of Xiaomi to refute and betray its own books, I have been preparing for this book for a long time before it is finally released.

As things stand, I should be considered to have narrowly and perfectly dodged Misan's betrayal, including the protagonist's character design! (Important point!)

Of course, we can't rule out the possibility of an even bigger backstabbing in the future, after all, no one knows whether an accident or tomorrow will come first.

The protagonist's arrival in Fontainebleau has a reason; it's not just a chance encounter. And he himself isn't a half-elf with Fontainebleau blood... well, it wouldn't be wrong to say he's Fontainebleau mixed-blood, since they're both composed of primordial seawater. These things will be explained later.

Additionally, this game will introduce the 'eighth elemental force' that did not appear in Genshin Impact, which is currently referred to as the Light Boundary Force. There is also the power that symbolizes the Abyss, which is the power displayed by Skirk, and is currently referred to as the Void Boundary Force.

Quantum and imaginary numbers, you know. (laughs)

This work primarily uses romantic comedy and political comedy as its main selling points. While writing the book, I kept thinking about how to integrate the elements of those two masterpieces into the Genshin Impact world view so that it wouldn't feel so out of place.

So far, the integration is alright. It can't be said to be perfect, but at least there aren't any major flaws. Some scenes might feel a bit jarring, but that's a necessary sacrifice for the sake of the plot.

The organization will remember these sacrifices.

I will do my best to come up with more interesting plots and present better works to all of you readers.

Another crucial point is the update schedule. Four thousand words a day is the minimum requirement. I will add extra chapters from time to time, depending on the performance. We will discuss the more specific details about the extra chapters after the book is published.

In addition, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the author of "Miss Shimizu's Perfect Ending Method," Teacher Da Dan, for providing the manuscript review service. She really made me cry.

As I approach the end of my launch message, I still have to ask for your first subscription, as is my custom. Please, it really means a lot to me!

Enough talk, let's get to the talent!

Kneel! (Bang bang bang)

Stick your butt out! or 2

While kowtowing, he sticks out his butt! (Thump thump thump) or 2

Lastly, I must say that the author has an excellent track record of integrity, and both of the books currently available have been completed with over a million words, regardless of their performance!

No sending girls, no random pairings, no cuckolding, just pure (and sometimes reckless) love for the God of War! Read on with confidence!

Fukaros will not die; she will live a carefree life with Fryna and the protagonist.

That concludes my thoughts on this sales pitch. (Please subscribe! Please subscribe! Please subscribe!)

Volume 1: Chapter 55 Heart-Stealing (4K, Seeking First Subscription!)

Stargazing Cliff is located in the mountainous region east of Lake Starfall in Mondstadt. Because it is adjacent to the coast and has a towering terrain, it is like a ladder to the sky. At night, when you look up at the sky from the top of the cliff, the stars in the sky seem to be within reach, hence the name Stargazing Cliff.

This is usually a favorite spot for Mondstadt couples. For their safety and for the purpose of stargazing, the Knights of Favonius have also set up an observation post here, with regular members patrolling the area every day.

However, due to the Dragon Disaster, Star-Picking Cliff has been deserted for a long time, which saves the trouble of clearing it out.

It was already afternoon when Richard and his party arrived at the summit of Zhaixing Cliff. The wind on the mountaintop was sometimes gentle and sometimes sharp, mixed with the dampness of the sea. Combined with the vast scenery, it created an indescribable sense of comfort.

"Let's begin." Richard handed the Sky Harp to the bard without saying a word.

Charlotte, as if realizing something, pointed the phonograph at Wendy, but just as she was about to press the shutter, she discovered that her phonograph seemed to have some problems.

In the phonograph, Wendy had transformed into a humanoid ball of light radiating a bluish glow. But if you looked away from the phonograph, the real Wendy was clearly standing there, a boy playing the zither and singing.

"Strange? Could it be that the phonograph is broken? That shouldn't be the case, it was just sent to the phonograph workshop for maintenance last week..." Charlotte scratched her head in confusion.

Charlotte then took two more photos of Funina. After finding that there was nothing wrong with the photos, Charlotte breathed a sigh of relief, but at the same time, a big question arose in her mind.

Why can't the phonograph capture Wendy's image?

"It's because the wind elemental energy is too concentrated." Richard's voice suddenly rang in Charlotte's ear.

The pink-haired girl was startled. "Mr. Richard!"

“Miss Charlotte, it’s dangerous here. After you’re done taking pictures, let’s retreat to the watchtower. It’s a good spot there, and we can fit the entire dragon into the camera.” Richard kindly reminded her.

"Okay, thank you." Charlotte didn't insist on staying. On the one hand, this was agreed upon from the beginning, and on the other hand, she knew that staying would only cause them trouble.

Upon arriving at the watchtower, Charlotte found it to be a great shooting location. The spot was just within the range of the phonograph camera, and with a slight zoom, she could capture Richard and his companions in great clarity.

The only thing that puzzled Charlotte was why Richard knew so early on that this was a perfect spot for filming.

However, Charlotte had no time to think. As she stood on the watchtower, a powerful gust of wind nearly blew her beret off, followed by a shadow sweeping across the sky, accompanied by a deafening dragon's roar.
