Reincarnation NPC, but Arknights

However, this explanation omits many facts, such as the fact that the Sarkaz are actually a branch that split off from the Sarkaz, sharing the same origin. After accepting the constraints of the stars and the "laws," the Sarkaz betrayed their race, left Kazdel, and founded Laterano.
Because of this betrayal, the original Tikkaz (one with roots) became Sarkaz (one without roots), and Sarkaz also formed an irreconcilable hatred with the Sarkaz.
The so-called "laws" are actually the same as the "original source stones," both being remnants of previous civilizations.
Interestingly, these Laterano Sarkaz actually have a rather dark side—the Laterano authorities strictly forbid anyone from exploring the relationship between the Sarkaz and the Sarkaz. To conceal the fact that they were once Sarkaz, the appearance of the First Saints was deliberately erased. Anyone who tries to trace the origins of the Sarkaz, once discovered, will face brutal slaughter by the Laterano authorities and military. A Victorian archaeological team once unearthed a statue of the First Saints that still retained Sarkaz characteristics. This was reported to higher authorities by an informant within the team, who ultimately ordered agents to blow up the archaeological cave, burying the entire team.
In short, the Sarkaz and Sarkaz have a long-standing hostile relationship, with neither side allowing the presence of Sarkaz even within Laterano. Sarkaz mercenary groups have a long history of plundering Laterano caravans, collecting Sarkaz guardian guns as trophies. Each guardian gun, formally granted with a special ceremony, can fetch an extremely high price in Kazdel's infamous Scarred Market. Correspondingly, Sarkaz soldiers take pride in piercing the hearts of Sarkaz, and they are happy to deliver a "law-blessed" explosive shell to their enemies.
Of course, there are also some exceptions between these two races. They are not hostile to each other, and some have even developed feelings for one another while spending time together. It is not uncommon for a Sarkaz to fall in love with a Sarkaz.
However, such a union is not permitted by the world. Their offspring will not be blessed or recognized; they are unregistered individuals existing in the shadows.
……
"The large gathering of Sarkaz in Victoria would obviously raise concerns in Lateran, given that the country borders Victoria to the north and the animosity between the two groups is difficult to quell."
The doctor voiced the Lateran people's concerns.
Kelsey nodded:
“Besides Sarkaz, my old friend clearly shares a similar view of the current situation on this land. He is also aware of the various crises that may arise in the future, so he can serve as a witness to help Victoria's situation evolve peacefully into an outcome that satisfies most people.”
Don't forget, Dr. Kal'tsit once had an identity as a monk from Laterano. Although it was a disguised identity, it wasn't said to be fake.
Amiya was somewhat surprised by these words:
"So, that old man with the white beard actually came?"
“Yes, I met with his messenger, and he would be happy to stop over on Rhodes Island and travel with us to Londinium,” Kal'tsit replied.
Amiya was surprised, and the Katniss girls perked up their ears:
“We have quite a few Sarkaz here… After hearing about the fate of their kin, although their stance hasn’t wavered, they are clearly still concerned about their kin and the fate of Kazdel. Most of the Sarkaz are in the corridors and on the deck. Should we have them… hide for now?”
Kal'tsit shook her head:
“If that pope, like most of his people, is obsessed with so-called ‘hatred’ and unable to extricate himself from it, then he is not qualified to be a leader. The more clear-headed a leader is, the less likely he is to harbor hostility because of racial differences.”
The doctor added from the side:
"Yeah, like that guy Bai Ye, I've never seen him care about the difference between race and whether he's infected."
Amiya frowned upon hearing this, and the little rabbit blinked and asked:
"But why do I always feel that he prefers the Agorians? Even when he returned to the main ship, he was always with Miss Skadi, and later he even took care of Miss Specter himself."
"Ahem." Kal'tsit glared at the Doctor after hearing this, then stopped the conversation from going off-topic.
"In short, with the help of Bai Ye and Ivangelista XI, Victoria may have a better ending. Bai Ye has essentially caused a major upheaval, swiftly eliminating the Sarkaz and creating a power vacuum in Lontinim. This isn't bad, at least everyone is forced to start on equal footing, and because of his presence, no one dares to act rashly."
Everyone is curious about Bai Ye's own needs and desires. They wonder who he will support and what his stance will be.
What troubled Kal'tsit even more was that this guy had brandished the Victorian national sword in front of the Londiniums, and now everyone knew that the Breath of Kings was in his hands. And it wasn't exactly a secret that a certain nobleman from the Ursus Empire, who had always stood behind Bai Ye, was actually a red dragon.
"This is getting more and more interesting," the professor couldn't help but remark.
She seemed to thrive on chaos, after all, she was quite the entertainer with her own wicked sense of humor.
"PhD!"
However, such smugness was clearly not going to work, and sure enough, she was immediately punished by Amiya. The usually docile rabbit frowned and then tapped her forehead.
Kal'tsit said indifferently:
"It doesn't matter. It seems we haven't assigned enough work. Let her handle some documents later."
Chapter Ninety-Two: A Farewell Without Meeting
"Hmm, it seems Kal'tsit and the others will be here soon."
Bai Ye put away his communication terminal; he had already learned that the Rhodes Island main ship was approaching the port of Londinium.
However, it's clear that Bai Ye is unaware of the fate that a certain doctor is about to be exploited again; this is probably just the daily life of Rhodes Island.
After turning off the communicator, Bai Ye turned to look at Theresa beside him:
"Aren't you going to see them? Miss Amiya really misses you."
Theresa put on her hood, hiding her face in the shadows:
"Now is not a good time to meet. Although I have broken free from the shackles of the Sarkaz Souls, I still possess a portion of the Demon Lord's power."
"It is impossible for two demon kings to coexist in one era. As a product born of taboo, I cannot go to see her for the time being."
Just like on a chessboard, kings never meet. Theresa dared not approach Amiya, fearing something bad might happen.
Bai Ye nodded.
The possibility of being resurrected from the dead was also an unknown territory for him. He had only ever seen one such living dead before, so he could only feel helpless in the face of the prince's current situation.
"Don't worry about me." Seemingly sensing Bai Ye's concern, Theresa smiled. "I will return to Kazdel with the retreating Sarkaz; they still need me."
In fact, the successful evacuation from Lentinium was only the first step.
From Lentinium to evacuation from Victoria, then across endless wilderness, across the borders of multiple countries, and finally back to Kazdel.
Regardless of the route taken, the evacuation would be an incredibly long and dangerous journey. Many Sarkaz might not have perished in the fighting at Londinium, but would likely have perished during the retreat.
Many countries are happy to kick someone when they're down. Colombia is developing rapidly and lacks cheap labor; Casimir needs to capture the Sarkaz for gladiatorial combat; and Victoria doesn't mind enjoying another sweet revenge.
As for the Sarkaz? They don't need any reason to kill the Sarkaz. They'll simply put their enemies to rest with bullets.
Bai Ye looked at Theresa, then suddenly spoke:
"If you're willing to take a detour, I can provide a safer route."
"From the northwest through Shelag, then across Qazimir and Ursus, and finally into Kazdel."
As Bai Ye spoke, he drew a long arc on the map.
Clearly, the route suggested by White Night was a long detour. If one were to head directly east, one would only need to bypass Letania and Syracuse to reach Kazdel.
However, as Bai Ye said, the route he provided was relatively safe because he could speak to anyone, whether it was Sherag, Kazimir, or Ursus.
“I will pass these suggestions on to the King of the Carrion.” Theresa nodded.
Bai Ye smiled and then asked:
"Do you need our company's escort services? This is one of the main businesses of Northern Cross Private Messenger. After all, in your current state, it seems quite a few people would be interested in you. The absolutists have already withdrawn, and I can't find them. Perhaps they are preparing to 'reclaim' you. Without Theresis's restraint, they will only become more unscrupulous."
Because of the different priorities, Bai Ye initially focused on Theresis and several royal court lords.
His energy was limited, and it was clearly impossible for him to capture the Absolution Master while dealing with these powerful enemies. Therefore, after everything was over, when he turned back to look for the Absolution Master, Logos and Ascalon brought him the news he expected—the target had already escaped.
Based on the remaining traces and information, Logos believes that the leader of this organization seems to have ulterior motives regarding the power of the Demon King, and that Theresa's resurrection was also his doing.
In other words, Theresa was extremely attractive to them at the moment, and Bai Ye was still a little uneasy about letting her leave alone.
Theresa hesitated after hearing this.
Then, a voice rang out beside Bai Ye:
“Mr. Baiye, I am happy to take on the task of escorting His Highness.”
Before the words had even finished, a beautiful figure shrouded in a black cloak appeared beside Bai Ye, accompanied by a black cube.
She then bowed to Theresa:
"Your Highness, we meet again."
Theresa nodded in return.
……
"Emanggard, are all liches as elusive as you?" Bai Ye was speechless. He had just barely managed to suppress his instinctive urge to stab someone.
"Hehehe." The Lich Lady pretended to be stupid.
Clearly, she did not immediately set off to leave Lentinium.
"The King of Carrion is already formulating a plan for withdrawal, and he will certainly be happy to adopt the opinions of Mr. White Night and Your Highness," Emengard then said.
"Are you planning to break up the whole operation into smaller parts?" Bai Ye suddenly asked another question.
Emengard paused for a moment, then nodded:
"That's probably how it will be. They'll either split back into mercenary squads and return to Kazdel, or they'll simply go to other parts of this land to make a living. Perhaps they won't even need the evacuation route you provided, Mr. White Night."
Indeed, this is a good option.
After all, the target of an entire evacuation team is simply too large.
However, Bai Ye smiled mysteriously:
"Having big goals isn't necessarily a bad thing, at least that's what I think."
After all, besides the native inhabitants, there are also players from another world on this land. It would be strange if such a large group of Sarkaz squad members didn't attract players to come and watch.
“Perhaps the King of Carrion would do that; after all, he is a proud man and would never allow his court to be torn apart.” Emengard clearly didn't understand Bai Ye's meaning. After all, she wasn't familiar with these players.
……
"Well then, goodbye." Bai Ye took off his hat. "I hope we can meet again in Kazdel."
Emengard and Theresa waved to White Night, then vanished from the spot. It seems the Lich's magical cube was indeed very useful.
-------------------------------------
At the port, the Rhodes Island flagship slowly entered the port of Londinium.
As a company specializing in dealing with infected incidents, neither the Duke nor the citizens prevented Rhodes Island from entering Londinium; the natural disasters here still require the handling of these professionals.
Theresa stood at a distance, quietly watching her former friend walk down from Rhodes Island.
"Your Highness..." the lich lady whispered from the side.
Theresa nodded, cast one last glance at her chosen successor, and then turned and left...
Chapter Ninety-Three: A Distant View
(I've already submitted my perfect attendance report for February, I'll try harder in March!)
The Rhodes Island main ship stopped in port.
Even the doctor was somewhat surprised, never expecting that they would be able to enter the city during such an abnormal period. It even felt unbelievably smooth; no one came out to stop them or check them.
The Rhodes Island ship sailed straight in without encountering any resistance and was allowed to pass directly.
Only Kal'tsit knew that her mole had solved a lot of trouble for Rhodes Island. Now, most of the key points in the city were controlled by the Londinium Self-Defense Force, including the port and exit.
……
Doctor, Amiya, and Kal'tsit were already standing on the deck, waiting to disembark after reaching the shore.
Suddenly, Amiya seemed to realize something.
A familiar feeling suddenly welled up in her heart, as if something was gently tugging at her hair, the ends of which brushed against her face, making her feel a little itchy.
Involuntarily, Amiya turned her head and looked into the distance.
Suddenly, she froze.
In that instant, it was as if the whole world had quieted down, and all the noise and commotion had subsided into silence.
Only the sound of the wind whistling past Amiya's ears.
The girl held her breath. In her eyes, there was only that familiar figure. Although he was wrapped in a black robe, a strand of pure white hair still peeked out from the gap in the clothes.
The man watched Amiya silently, casting a glance at her from afar.
Amiya couldn't see the face covered by the hood, but the rabbit still recognized who it was.
Her face was so gentle, and her eyes were filled with tender smiles, relief, and a sense of liberation.
Their eyes met, a soft spark catching in the air. After confirming their connection, the man turned away, satisfied.
"..."
Amiya opened her mouth and couldn't help but reach out her hand, about to say something, but the familiar feeling suddenly disappeared, receding like the tide.
The quiet world shattered like glass at that moment, and time resumed its flow.
This led Amiya to believe for a time that it was her imagination.
