"You're right, you're the trash can, and trash cans should indeed recycle trash. But..."

Qi Ye looked at her, waiting for what she would say next.

"But! The trash can can't be moved!"

March 7th points to the ground.

"Real trash cans are fixed in one place."

Have you ever seen a trash can that walks around by itself?

A trash can that can move on its own is called a mobile garbage truck; it's a completely different job from a trash can!

Qi Ye was stunned.

He looked down at his feet, then at the trash can next to him.

The rusty iron bucket remained motionless in its place.

He frowned slightly, as if he were seriously considering the question.

Then he released the mop handle and wobbled back to the trash can.

Leaning against the barrel, I slowly squatted down, placed my hands neatly on my knees, and then remained motionless.

“You’re right.” Qi Ye nodded. “The trash cans really can’t be moved. I broke the rules.”

March 7th let out a long sigh of relief.

Then she turned to look at Xing:

"You! Throw that mop away! Now! Right now!"

"I won't throw it away."

This is an epic-level piece of equipment. Look at that layer of coating on it; it's clearly been waxed.

Why put wax on it?!

On March 7th, Xing was dragged and pulled towards the edge of the square, with Xing still tightly gripping the mop handle with one hand.

On March 7th, I felt like I was dragging a dog that was possessive of its food.

She took a few steps and then looked back.

Qi Ye was still squatting next to that trash can, like a contemplative sculpture.

She forced out a sentence through gritted teeth:

"Go find Danheng. He'll definitely have a solution."

"What can Dan Heng do?"

Xing was dragged along by her. "He's not a doctor."

"But he's a normal person! A normal person is always more reliable than two lunatics!"

Chapter 53 I am a trash can

March 7th pulled Xing around the alleyway, and the sounds of their footsteps and arguments quickly faded into the distance.

The square fell silent again.

Qi Ye was still squatting next to that rusty trash can.

His hands were neatly placed on his knees, and his expression was serene.

Just then, a rustling sound came from behind the pile of scrap metal not far away.

"This area is our ambush site!"

"If anyone dares to come any closer, we'll...we'll...we'll rush out and give them a fright!"

"What if it's an adult?"

"Even adults are scared! Hook isn't even afraid of the Great Guardians!"

"But last time you were chased by Natasha..."

"That was Hook's tactical retreat! It had nothing to do with fear!"

He emerged from behind the pile of scrap metal with a series of small, quick steps.

A little girl wearing a yellow knitted hat walked at the front.

Behind him were a thin boy and a girl with pigtails.

Hook, the leader of the Mole Party in the lower district, was scanning the square when suddenly her gaze stopped.

"Huh? What's that?"

She pointed to the dark-haired young man at the edge of the square, and the rusty iron bucket next to him.

"There's a person squatting next to the trash can." The skinny boy leaned closer for a look. "What's he doing?"

Hook squinted:

"Let's go take a look."

The three children crept closer to Xiye.

Hook walked in front, and she stopped about two meters away from Qiye, tilting her head to look at him.

Qi Ye remained motionless.

Those eyes were lowered, looking at the ground.

It looked like he was seriously pondering some profound question.

Hook extended his index finger and gently poked Qiye's arm.

Qi Ye did not respond.

"He seems to be asleep," the girl with pigtails whispered.

"Sleeping with your eyes open?"

Hook poked again, "Hey, what are you doing?"

Qi Ye turned her head, her gaze calmly landing on Hook's face.

Then, without any expression, he spoke:

Do you have trash?

Hook's eyes suddenly lit up.

She turned to look at her two friends behind her:

"He spoke! He asked us if we had any trash!"

Do we have garbage?

The skinny boy rummaged through his pockets and pulled out a crumpled piece of scrap paper.

Does this count?

Hook took the scrap paper and handed it to Qiye:

Is this okay?

Qiye looked down at the candy wrapper, then opened her mouth, gesturing for Hook to put it in.

Hook paused for a moment, then carefully put the candy wrapper into Qiye's mouth.

Qi Ye chewed twice, swallowed, and then nodded:

"Waste collection successful. Thank you for your cooperation."

The three children were silent for a second. Then Hook let out a suppressed scream:

"He eats garbage! He's so cool!"

The skinny boy's eyes lit up too:

"Can he eat the insects here?"

"My notebook! That's trash too!"

Seeing this, Hook's face scrunched up, clearly undergoing a fierce internal struggle.

On the one hand, the person sitting on the ground in front of me doesn't look like an adult who would play with a child.

But on the other hand, he eats garbage! He recycles!

This is simply the coolest new member the Mole Party has ever seen.

She turned around, waved to her two henchmen behind her, and held a brief, impromptu tactical meeting in a low voice.

“I think he can join.”

“But boss, he’s an adult.”

The girl with pigtails whispered.

"What's wrong with adults? Can't adults join the Mole Party? That's age discrimination!"

Hooker refuted the claim with righteous indignation, then turned around, put his hands on his hips, and made a formal announcement.

"Mr. Trash Can, from this day forward you are the honorary gatekeeper of the Mole Party!"

Your task is to stand guard at the entrance of the secret base and prevent any suspicious persons from getting close.

It's mainly Natasha; she pulls my ear every time she comes.

She stretched out her little hand, patted Qi Ye's shoulder, and solemnly added a sentence.

"Also, your skill in eating garbage just now was really impressive. From now on, you'll be in charge of disposing of all our garbage bags!"

Hook waved his hand and then looked down at Qiye.

"Can you move now? We're going to take you to the secret base."

It's a bit far from here; you'll have to walk there yourself.

Qi Ye looked down at her legs, remained silent for a long while, and then calmly replied:

"Trash cans shouldn't walk."

"What can we do? We can't just roll you over there, you don't have wheels."

“We can carry it over,” Qi Ye suggested earnestly.

Hooke choked again.

She turned around, exchanged glances with her two henchmen, and then all three of them rolled up their sleeves at the same time.

Hook hugged Qiye's left arm, the skinny boy hugged his right arm, and the girl with pigtails pushed his back from behind.

The three of them worked together to lift him off the ground.

They carried Qi Ye into a half-squatting, half-standing position.

Its feet dragged on the ground as it moved into the depths at an extremely slow pace.

"Keep going! Just around the corner!"

Hooke shouted work chants as he carried the load.

Despite being supported by three children, Qi Ye's expression remained serene.

He looked down at his toes dragging on the ground.

Looking again at the dark mine tunnel ahead, I felt it was a dumping ground for garbage.

I am probably experiencing the most glorious moment of my life.

He was carried by a group of children who claimed to be going to rule the lower districts, and sent to squat and guard the entrance of a secret base.

Is there anything more in line with the mission of a trash can? No.

Meanwhile, on March 7th, Xing was finally dragged, mop and all, to the entrance of Panyan Town.

Danheng was already waiting there, arms crossed, leaning against the wall.

Seeing the two approaching, he noticed the mop in Xing's hand, from which an unknown liquid was dripping.
