This Hextech Duel Master is a pro at getting targets.

Dark Magician Girl's special effect is that if you control Dark Magician Girl, you can Special Summon 1 Dark Magician Girl from your Deck, hand, or Graveyard.

The special effects of Dark Magician are complementary, namely, the special summoning of Dark Magician Girl.

You Shuo's mind raced.

In the midst of a two-player duel...

Cards on your teammates' fields also count as cards on your own fields, and you can use them freely...

Correspondingly, if he can summon Dark Magician Girl in his first turn, he can Special Summon Dark Magician from his deck. In Yugi's turn, he can Special Summon Dark Magician Girl directly and then Special Summon his own Dark Magician using the Spell Card - Sage's Jewel.

This way, they can summon four monsters in the first round!

But the problem is...

Jonouchi and Honda's barbarian combo is completely unreasonable.

As long as Barbarian 1 and Barbarian 2 are present, the attack power of the two monsters can soar to nearly four thousand!

This is definitely not something that can be solved by two Dark Magician Girls and two Dark Magicians.

You Shuo pondered for a moment.

Good thing...

Dark Magician Girl and Dark Magician have many matching Magic Trap Cards!

Even if Jonouchi and Honda's monsters have high attack power, they are still afraid of having their effects disrupted!

A thousand knives are enough to dismantle any one of them!

"My turn! Draw!" You Shuo shouted. "Activate Spell Card - Reduced Cost: Discard one card from my hand, and all monsters in my hand will have their Levels reduced by two until the end of this turn!!"

“Wait a minute~” Jonouchi Katsuya grinned wickedly, “A Spellcaster deck combined with Spell Cards, that’s common sense in duels.”

"Even if we're using a Barbarian deck, we're well aware of this."

"To protect our ace from being destroyed~"

"Therefore, I'm going to activate this Continuous Trap Card!!"

"The Fragrance Sealed by the Demon!!!"

"As long as this card is on the field, neither player can activate their Spell Cards unless they are Set, and Set Spell Cards can only be used during your next turn."

"You must be trying to reduce the cost of summoning Dark Magician Girl, right?"

"Unfortunately, you can't do it."

You Shuo and Wang Yang's expressions changed.

These two guys who took Katsuya Jonouchi and Hiro Honda were clearly prepared!

Spell cards are locked, monsters lack attack power...

The situation turned incredibly ugly in just the second round!

"Tsk, three cards face down, then I summon a monster in face-down Defense Position!!" You Shuo announced loudly, "End turn!!"

"Well then, it's my turn!" Hiro Honda drew his card, a sinister smug look on his face. "Activate the effect of Barbarian Deck Leader #2, Special Summon!!"

"Barbarian Number One!!"

"The Barbarian #1 Special Summoned by this effect gains 500 ATK!!"

"At the same time, because my partner summoned Barbarian #2, Barbarian #1 will gain an additional 500 attack power based on its own effects!!"

"Finally, the Barbarian #2's Duel Deck Leader special effect has been triggered!!"

"Double the attack power bonus gained by Barbarian #1!!"

"Roar, barbarians!!!"

Barbarian #1

【Five stars】

[Earth Attribute/Warrior Race]

Attack/Defense: 1550/1800

"Beep beep beep—"

Barbarian #1, Attack Power: 1550 → 3550

On the other side, Katsuya Jonouchi laughed and said, "Hehe, with the same effect, Barbarian No. 2's attack power has also increased by two thousand points, now reaching 3800!!"

Below the stage, watching the top-tier Barbarian No. 1 and Barbarian No. 2, Yu Jialong'er was sweating bullets.

"Such high attack power?!"

"They've already surpassed the Blue-Eyes White Dragon!!"

"The magic cards can't be used either... You Shuo and the game are in a very difficult situation!!"

“Brother…” Shizuka looked at Katsuya Jonouchi, who was being controlled by the five giants, and felt extremely worried.

Honda Hiroshi covered two cards and ended the round with a cold smile.

Wang Yang observed the situation on the field and pondered in his heart.

In the next round, all duelists' battle phases will be unlocked.

With Jonouchi Katsuya possessing the highest attack power, he'll definitely launch the first attack; the situation is really dire...

Wang Yang knew very well that against aggressive decks, simply defending was not an option; the best solution was to lure the opponent into a trap!

"My turn! Draw a card!!" Wang Yang shouted.

His eyes lit up when he saw the cards in his hand.

It turns out to be...

Divine power - the reflective mirror wall?!

This card is perfect for stopping those two guys' attack!

"Set one card face-down!!" said King Yu. "Defense Position Summon - Queen Knight, End Turn!!"

Seeing Yu Shuo and Wang Yang forced to defend, the two top five who controlled Jonouchi Katsuya and Honda Hiroshi were extremely excited.

Hahahaha!

Jonouchi Katsuya smiled grimly.

"Then, the time has come to launch the attack!!"

"My turn! Draw a card!!"

"Deck Leader's effect activated, Special Summoning the second Barbarian #2!!"

Barbarian #2

【Five stars】

[Earth Attribute/Warrior Race]

Attack/Defense: 1800/1500

"Beep beep beep—"

Barbarian #2, Attack Power: 1800 → 3800

"Hehe, because two Barbarian No. 2s have appeared on the field, Barbarian No. 1's attack power continues to increase!!" Honda Hiro crossed his arms, and Barbarian No. 1 in front of him let out a passionate roar.

"Roar--"

Barbarian #1, Attack Power: 3550 → 4550

The terrifying power of the attack left the three people below the stage dazzled.

Jonouchi Katsuya sneered, "I know, you guys must have all set up your spell cards in the back row, ready to use them in the next turn, just to counterattack with spell cards in such a hurry~"

"But whether it's those disgusting magic cards or the traps used to ambush, we will dismantle them all with this combo!!"

"Attack signal summon - Harpy!!"

Harpy

【Four stars】

[Wind Attribute/Bird Beast Race]

Attack/Defense: 1300/1400

A harpy?!

You Shuo immediately thought of the harpy's feather duster!

In this era, Harpie's Feather Duster can only be activated when there is a Harpie on your field!

Jonouchi wants to destroy all the Spell & Trap Cards on his and Yugi's field!!

But the problem is...

The Fragrance of the Demon's Seal also has limitations on its own cards.

This means that Katsuya Jonouchi's Harpy's Feather Duster will not be able to activate until the next turn.

However, the moment the harpy appeared, Hiro Honda suddenly flipped up his face-down card: "Trap Card Activation - High-Speed Chant!!"

"At the cost of not being able to activate Spell Cards during my next turn!!"

"Discard one Spell Card from your hand, and make its effect the same as that Spell Card!!"

"I'll be using—the Harpy's Feather Duster!!!"

So that's what a combo is!

You Shuo understood this time.

High-Speed Chant only copies the effect, so as a Trap Card, it is not affected by the Spellsealing Aromatic effect.

Because in a two-player duel, cards on your teammate's field are considered as cards on your own field, the Harpie's Feather Duster has the conditions to be activated!

"Rumble rumble rumble—"

A sweeping storm blew towards You Shuo and Wang Yang's back area!

Katsuya Jonouchi's two barbarians, number 2, have an attack power of nearly 4,000!

But he and Yugi only have one monster on their field!

Joey Wake hasn't performed a Normal Summon yet this turn. If he summons another monster, he can eliminate one monster first!

From a tactical point of view, You Shuo would definitely be the first one to be attacked!

Because if Yu Shuo loses, then after Jonouchi Katsuya, it will be Honda's turn, and the five giants can achieve a two-round synergy!

"Tsk!!" Wang Yang gritted his teeth.

The card he placed face-down in his back row was Divine Power: Mirror Wall...

Once destroyed, it has no way to withstand attacks anymore!

However, at this critical moment, You Shuo's trap card was activated: "Chain Trap Card - Wild Tornado!!"

"Activate its second effect: If this face-down card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, target one face-up card on the field and destroy it!!"

"What I will shatter is the enchanting fragrance that seals your field!!!"

"Bang—"

The card shattered, and in that instant, the restrictions on the use of magic cards were completely lifted!!

Jonouchi Katsuya said dismissively, "But, doing this much is enough to defeat you!!"

"Entering battle phase!!"

"Barbarian #2, attack the monster positioned in your back defense position!!"

"boom!!!!!!!!!!"

With a powerful hammer blow, You Shuo's monster was instantly killed.

But then, a new monster was summoned onto the field!

"Apprentice Magician's effect activated!!"
