I caught a Pokémon

Now that we've finally returned to the capital, and it's not far away, it would be a real shame not to go and take a look.

Of course, Xia You could swear that it was definitely not because he was lusting after her body. Well, actually, that was part of the reason, well… just a little bit, but more importantly, he didn't want to be a heartless person. He had to take responsibility for what he had done.

The Charizard carried the two of them over the mountains and soon left the Charizard Canyon.

They flew westward for most of the day, and just as they were about to reach Goldenrod City, in a dry valley, Charizard suddenly sensed something was wrong.

Its speed suddenly slowed down, and its altitude dropped sharply. Just as Xia You was wondering what was going on, it flapped its wings, indicating that Xia You should look at a certain place in the valley.

And upon closer inspection, Xia You immediately spotted a familiar... figure!

It was a large, four-legged beast-shaped Pokémon that could reach over two meters in height. It had orange-red fur, a strong body, red six-pointed star-shaped structures on its cheeks, and golden clover-like hair shells embedded on its forehead. Even its back was shrouded in wisps of white smoke!

"Huh?" May also saw the figure and exclaimed in surprise, "What Pokémon is that? It looks so cool!"

"Cool?" Xia You snorted coldly. "Of course it's cool! This is the legendary Pokémon of the Johto region, the famous Entei!"

That's right, the familiar figure that Charizard spotted was none other than Entei!

At this moment, Emperor Yan was resting by a hot spring in the valley, completely unaware that he had been discovered!

For Xia You, this was an opportunity she couldn't afford to miss.

Although he didn't know if the current Entei was the same one he had encountered before, he still felt a sense of regret that he had not been able to collect all three legendary beasts, even though he had Raikou and Suicune in his possession!

This time, no matter who tries to cause trouble again, I will definitely not miss the opportunity!

Behind Xia You, Xiao Yao was also taken aback when she heard that this was the legendary Pokémon Entei!

"Is this Emperor Yan!?"

Just like Xia You, Xiao Yao never expected to encounter a legendary Pokémon here!

Just as she was about to take out her Pokédex to learn more about this Pokémon, she suddenly felt Charizard lurch downwards and fly straight toward Entei!

Eh?

Is Xia You planning to subdue it?!

Xiaoyao was quite surprised by this change, because in her opinion, it was just like Xia You had decided to catch this Pokémon as soon as she saw it!

It could even be said that before Xia Youge even uttered a word, Charizard had already taken it upon itself to fly towards Emperor Yan!

Is there some unspoken understanding between him and it?

Or did Xia You have a conflict with Emperor Yan before?

When Xiao Yao thought about how Xia You had recognized Yan Di at a glance, and even sounded a little angry, she understood.

It seems to be the latter.

In the valley, just as the fire-breathing dragon swooped down, Emperor Yan suddenly opened his eyes.

When it looked up, it saw the fire-breathing dragon descending from the sky!

It quickly stood up, straightened its posture, and looked at the uninvited guest with caution and solemnity.

When its eyes twitched slightly and it saw the humans on the fire-breathing dragon, it was startled, as if it remembered something. The next second, it turned around and ran away!

This escape, however, made Xia You realize something was amiss.

"It really is you!!"

If it were any other Flame Emperor, even if it saw someone intruding, it would not have run away immediately. Only the Flame Emperor that had dealt with Xia You and been defeated by him truly knew how powerful Xia You was, and that's why it left without looking back!

And its running away was practically tantamount to admitting its guilt!

At this time, Emperor Yan was nowhere near the majestic figure people remembered.

If trainers who grew up listening to its stories and have aspirations for it were to see this scene, they would be absolutely astonished!

But it wants to escape? It's not that easy.

After Charizard landed, Xia You quickly dismounted and pulled Xiao Yao down as well. Then, with a flick of his wrist, Charizard shot off like an arrow!

As a participant in the previous battle against Entei, and as a loyal Pokémon under its trainer, Charizard naturally knew what encountering Entei again meant.

This is also a key reason why it sensed a familiar presence while flying and took it upon itself to descend!

It's fair to say that at this moment, its feelings are the same as its trainer's!

Now that we've encountered this opportunity, we absolutely cannot let it pass us by!

As Charizard accelerated again, Entei was quickly caught up.

Despite Entei's attempts to evade Charizard's pursuit by maneuvering left and right and using the canyon's complex terrain and massive rocks, how could Charizard, with its experience and abilities, possibly be shaken off by such a simple trick?

Moreover, flying in the sky has advantages in terms of vision and path, so even though Entei kept dodging and weaving, the distance between the two Pokémon not only did not increase, but actually got closer and closer!

Perhaps knowing that he could not escape, in the next second, Entei, which seemed to be about to leap forward, suddenly turned around and bit at the Charizard that was chasing after him!

Charizard had anticipated this move. The moment Entei turned around, Charizard immediately folded its wings, and although it dropped in altitude again, it easily dodged Entei's attack!

Chapter 869 Super Charizard X!

Charizard and Entei were locked in combat.

Just a few dozen seconds later, Xia You and Xiao Yao, who was panting, also arrived.

Seeing that Charizard had caught up with Entei, Xia You didn't hesitate and immediately took out a Poké Ball and released a few more Pokémon.

As the blue light flashed, his Gardevoir, Dragonite, Tyranitar, and Scizor appeared one by one. Under his command, these Pokémon surrounded Entei from several directions to prevent him from escaping.

However, Xia You had no intention of having them participate in the battle; he only intended for them to serve as a guard and a barrier.

After doing all that, he looked at Charizard and Entei in the arena again.

Beside her, Xiao Yao regulated her breathing and asked softly, "Brother Xia You, do you want to subdue this Flame Emperor?"

“That’s right.” Xia You nodded. “I encountered it before when I was traveling around the capital, but it managed to escape once. So this time, I’m determined to subdue it no matter what!”

"Using Charizard?"

“Of course.” Xia You chuckled. “My Charizard has reached max level and is coming out of the mountains. Its first battle will naturally be against an evenly matched opponent, and this Entei is clearly the perfect match!”

“But…” Xiaoyao hesitated for a moment, “Your Charizard just went through a battle in Charizard Canyon. Although I healed it, its stamina hasn’t recovered yet. Plus, we just rode it for a long time, while this Entei has been resting here. Under these circumstances, can we really beat it?”

"Don't worry." Xia You took out the X Stone she had obtained from Ji Ke and a Super Evolution Ring already inlaid with a Meteorite Keystone from her backpack, held them in her hand, and turned to her with a smile, "Although my stamina hasn't recovered yet, as long as I make it stronger, there won't be any problems!"

Looking at the strange stone, and recalling that Ji Ke had mentioned at their parting that this stone would allow Charizard to evolve into a stronger form, Xiaoyao immediately understood.

So Xia You wanted it to evolve again?

Although he didn't know exactly how to evolve into that form, seeing the confident look on Xia You's face, he knew that Xia You must have a way.

Having figured this out, Xiaoyao stopped talking, took a half step to the side, took out her Pokédex, and scanned it at the Entei.

The Pokédex quickly provided feedback, giving May a better understanding of this legendary Pokémon.

But more than anything, she was still looking forward to what the stronger form that Xia You and Ji Ke had mentioned would look like!

In the valley, Charizard and Entei were still locked in battle.

In just a few minutes, the two Pokémon had already made a complete mess of everything around them.

Because they had dealt with each other before, the Flame Emperor knew how terrifying this man was. Therefore, as it fought desperately like a cornered beast, it did not hold back at all and used its full strength!

Drawn by its power, Xia You and Xiao Yao felt the surrounding temperature rising continuously, and even the air seemed to be filled with the smell of flames.

The sky gradually darkened, and in the blink of an eye, thick clouds had enveloped the valley.

This seems to have become the standard setup for legendary Pokémon battles, and every time they are fought, it seems to cause changes in the heavens and earth.

With Entei's all-out effort, Charizard was immediately suppressed.

This also shows that although Charizard's strength has improved dramatically in Charizard Canyon during this period and it is now capable of taking on Entei one-on-one, just as May said, after the previous battle with the strongest Charizard in Charizard Canyon, it is now too exhausted and obviously cannot defeat Entei with its current strength!

Seeing this, Xia You no longer hesitated and whistled to summon the Charizard back.

Upon hearing Xia You's voice, the Charizard spread its wings, left the battlefield, and leaped backward, floating a few meters before landing steadily beside Xia You.

Although the fight lasted only a short time, Charizard's body was already covered in sweat.

In contrast, Emperor Yan appears to have plenty of energy.

However, perhaps because their strengths were relatively similar, neither Pokémon had any injuries, which also showed that even though they had exhausted a lot of energy, there was no significant difference in their strength levels.

At least not in the short term.

Walking up to Charizard, Xia You first tied the Charizard X-Evolution Stone around its neck, and then put the Mega Evolution Ring on her wrist.

His movements were slow and deliberate, as if he were doing something very serious. During this time, Emperor Yan's eyes darted around, and he was also quietly observing the situation.

It instinctively sensed something was wrong.

Although I don't know what that human was doing, it couldn't be anything good.

Emperor Yan wanted to escape, but he was surrounded by menacing opponents. Although he hadn't fought them yet, judging from their auras, none of them were easy to deal with!

Just then, Xia You finished equipping himself and Charizard, and the two of them, one human and one Pokémon, turned their gazes toward Entei not far away.

"Go for it! Let it see how powerful you are, and let this guy experience even greater strength!"

Xia You practically shouted the second half of his sentence, and as soon as he finished speaking, he tapped the key stone on the Super Ring twice. In the next second, the key stone and the evolution stone lit up simultaneously, flashing with a seven-colored light!

Under the astonished gazes of Emperor Yan and Xiaoyao, the flames on Charizard's tail suddenly changed color, turning from orange to cyan!

As a blast of air erupted from Charizard, its body underwent a transformation!

Its original orange body instantly turned black, its wings turned dark blue, and its chin to tail tip turned sky blue. Blue claw-like growths also appeared on its shoulders, and two fin-like spikes appeared on the back of its neck. Even the tips of the horns on its head turned blue and were extremely sharp!

Although the appearance changes are not obvious, its color scheme, fierce eyes, and the two blue flames constantly emerging from its mouth make this new form of Charizard look extremely domineering!

"Roar!!!"

The newly transformed Charizard, brimming with fighting spirit and exuding domineering power, roared at the Entei not far away. The sound was so loud that it echoed throughout the entire valley!

Even the dark clouds in the sky seemed to be dispersed quite a bit by this roar!

The Super Charizard has arrived!

Even Gengar came out curiously to take a look, which shows just how eye-catching Charizard is right now!

"This...this is the new form of Charizard?" May's eyes widened, her voice filled with disbelief, clearly shocked by its cool and fierce new appearance!

“That’s right.” Xia You chuckled, “Super Charizard X, that’s its name!”

After transforming, Charizard adjusted to its body for a moment, then, without giving Entei a chance to react, spread its wings and charged at Entei again!

Emperor Yan really didn't want to fight this seemingly troublesome fellow, but since things had come to this point, it had no choice but to brace itself and deal with the powerful enemy.

The already short distance passed in a flash. Despite Entei's careful precautions, the stronger new Charizard still managed to seize the opportunity!

In fact, the other trainers' Mega Charizards were already very powerful, not to mention Xia You's Charizard, which has made a qualitative leap. Now that it has evolved into its Mega form, it can only be described as terrifyingly strong!

Although he had prepared himself mentally, Entei clearly underestimated the power of the new form of Charizard.

As soon as they started fighting, it felt immense pressure. It was clear that in every aspect, this Charizard had become stronger than before!

The legendary power of Pokémon is greatly reduced, or even completely leveled, in the face of Mega Evolution.

What's even more troublesome is that with Charizard's Mega Evolution, its type changed from Fire/Flying to Fire/Dragon, making it even more threatening in close combat!

Charizard resumed its battle with Entei, frequently unleashing its dragon claws, tail, and breath attacks. Coupled with its superior position, Charizard gained a significant advantage.

In contrast, Entei, as a single Fire-type Pokémon, has significantly fewer options to deal with Charizard when fire damage is halved. Fortunately, it still has some common Normal-type moves and some Dark-type moves that it can use, so it's not completely helpless against Charizard.

As Charizard brandished its claws, wreathed in dragonfire, and lunged at Entei, Entei ducked and nimbly dodged the attack. Then, it leaped forward and bit Charizard's belly. Charizard simply sidestepped, dodging Entei's counterattack as well, and the two were once again locked in battle.

Just as Entei was about to dodge again, he was hit hard by Charizard's tail and stumbled back a few steps.

After adjusting his breathing, Emperor Yan once again cautiously and carefully examined his opponent.

As one of Ho-Oh's guards, and as the legendary Pokémon Entei, when had it ever been forced to such a state before?

I never expected to be beaten so badly today!

Keep in mind, this wasn't some legendary Pokémon; it was just an ordinary Pokémon, and it got beaten up like this!

This was something it never expected!

However, it was not going to sit idly by and wait to die. With a roar, the Flame Emperor also unleashed a strong fighting spirit and pounced on the Charizard once again!

This time, it unleashed its full potential without reservation, gritting its teeth and exerting 120% of its power!

In an instant, Entei's aura reached its peak, and it launched its strongest counterattack against Charizard.
