I caught a Pokémon

The answer was soon revealed.

As Xia You tossed the Ultra Ball high into the air, a flash of blue light appeared, and the next second, a long, narrow, black Pokémon, resembling a dragon or snake with a body as black and shiny as ink, suddenly appeared in the sky!

With just one glance, everyone—from A-Quan, Chi Yan Song, Shui Wu Tong, and A-Chao, to the Fire Goose on the ship, and even the Lava Team and Ocean Team members who had fallen into the water—recognized what it was.

They stared at the Pokémon with their mouths agape and their eyes wide open, incredulous.

"Ray... Rayquaza!!!"

This is simply unbelievable and insane! Who would have thought that this man would release a Rayquaza!

And it's black with a flash!

Everyone was utterly shocked, especially Crimson Pine and Water Wutong, who felt their worldviews had been turned upside down.

I only had one Deoxys not long ago, how long has it been?

They caught another Rayquaza!?

They really wanted to ask, were these legendary Pokémon really so commonplace in this man's eyes?

Compared to them, Ah Quan was equally surprised, but his mood was relatively calm. After all, Xia You had already said that she would try her luck at the Sky Pillar when they parted last time.

Unexpectedly, he actually found the location of the Sky Pillar and brought back a black Rayquaza!

Black Rayquaza hovered in the air for a while before letting out a roar.

The sound resounded throughout the heavens and earth, and immediately caught the attention of Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre.

Although they are not the same one, they have dealt with other Rayquaza before, so they are extremely familiar with this unpleasant aura and it is hard not to notice it.

However, they only glanced at it before looking away.

The reason is simple: just like the Deoxys beside him, Rayquaza without Mega Evolution cannot be considered an opponent of equal strength in the eyes of Kyogre and Groudon in this form!

However, they clearly overlooked one thing.

That is, whether it's Deoxys or Black Rayquaza, they are not only on the same side, but also have the same goal and do not need to attack each other. And most importantly, they both have trainers!

The difference between Pokémon without a trainer and those with a trainer is not just whether they are wild or not. The most important thing is that with the help of a trainer, their skills and perception are greatly enhanced!

Just now, Xia You's attention was completely focused on Team Aqua and Team Magma, and he only allowed Deoxys to attack at will. But now, with the complete annihilation of the two organizations, he will no longer be distracted by other things, and his attention will naturally be focused on Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre.

After recalling Raikou and Suicune, and signaling A-Quan and Xiaoxia to call back their respective Pokémon, Xia You looked up at the distant battlefield.

The real battle has only just begun!

'Deoxys, Rayquaza, join forces to attack Primal Kyogre!'

'That's right, Deoxys continued attacking Primal Kyogre's abdomen, its weakest point!'

Rayquaza, don't attack Primal Groudon, focus on eliminating one opponent first!

Rayquaza, come back quickly! I told you to ignore Groudon and deal with Deoxys first!!

Under his command, the four Pokémon engaged in battle.

On the surface, Xia You appeared calm and composed, giving the impression that she was confident in everything.

But in reality, apart from Gardevoir, no one knew how tired he was inside!

The main reason for this is Rayquaza.

There's no way around it, the time it took to capture Rayquaza was simply too short!

The bond between Xia You and it is still too short to be established, and there is a lack of necessary communication. It can even be said that the fact that it can fight against Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre now is not because it has begun to obey Xia You, but simply because it felt the power of these two Pokémon and, due to its personality, it launched an attack on Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre.

However, it was eventually put into a Poké Ball, even if only for a few days or a few hours, which means that Black Rayquaza is no longer a wild Pokémon.

Although it will take some time to adjust and get used to each other, Rayquaza has not shown any signs of running away. It even knows that it has become an ally of Deoxys and has not sought revenge for defeating it last time!

This already satisfied Xia You greatly.

In fact, Xia You didn't expect to be able to command it as easily as she could command other Pokémon when she released it.

All Rayquaza needs to do is unleash its full power at this moment.

Despite the significant increase in abilities of Kyogre and Groudon after Primal Reversion, their damage tolerance remains limited. Rayquaza and Deoxys in Attack Mode, on the other hand, are two Pokémon with formidable attack power!

Therefore, as long as Rayquaza can attract attention and create some space for Deoxys to deal damage, Xia You's expectations for it have already been met!

Just as Xia expected, given Rayquaza's personality, even though Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre didn't take it seriously at first, they simply couldn't remain indifferent to its constant attacks.

After enduring another fierce attack from Rayquaza, Primal Kyogre was clearly hurt. It turned around and set its sights on Rayquaza instead!

Xia You had been waiting for this opportunity!

While Primal Kyogre was dealing with Rayquaza and its back was wide open, he ordered Deoxys to gather its power, preparing to deliver a devastating blow to Primal Kyogre.

However, at this very moment, Deoxys was harassed by Primal Groudon, and while dodging, it had to give up this opportunity.

We really can't let our guard down for even a moment...

Compared to Primal Kyogre, Primal Groudon was hastily controlled by Archie using a gem, which not only failed but also drove it into a frenzy. It is now completely out of control, so in its chaotic mind, there is no such thing as a single opponent. Whoever appears in front of it becomes its target.

When Primal Kyogre went to deal with Rayquaza, Deoxys naturally became its first target.

Things weren't that simple after all!

Although it was a bit of a pity, Xia You didn't mind. After all, he knew that in a battle of this intensity, one must be patient and not be impatient. He just needed to keep waiting, and the right opportunity would surely come again.

As for Primal Groudon's attempt to attack Deoxys, Xia You simply teleported Deoxys to the other side of Primal Kyogre, 'sandwiching' Primal Kyogre back in the middle, and immediately resolved the situation.

Primal Groudon changed its target again and launched a fierce attack on Primal Kyogre.

And that is the power of a trainer!

A broader perspective allows trainers to make the right choices. If the situation had been reversed to wild Pokémon, they would have avoided the conflict, but obviously they wouldn't have done it this way, giving up their position to Primal Kyogre and letting these two Primal Return Pokémon battle again!

In this way, not only did he escape danger, but he also surrounded the original Kyogre with enemies on three sides!

Ugh—!

Primal Kyogre cried out in pain as it was hit by Primal Groudon.

And seeing this familiar scene, its past memories resurfaced!

For the original Kyogre, he had already experienced a similar situation before. Under such a pincer attack, he was ultimately defeated and could only slink away. He never expected that just a few days later, he would experience it again!

This made it restless, and almost subconsciously, a surge of power coursed through its body and began to gather in its mouth!

Almost simultaneously, perhaps sensing something, Primal Groudon also began to gather power!

"Oh no!" Upon seeing this from afar, A-Quan immediately exclaimed, "It's the Root Wave and the Sword of the Cliff!!!"

Ever since witnessing Kyogre and Groudon clash using these signature moves in their last battle, resulting in a terrifying explosion, she has developed a deep-seated fear of Root Pulse and Precipice Blade.

Not to mention that last time it was used in its normal state and it had such an effect, this time, both Pokémon have returned to their original form, and once they are used, the power they will unleash will undoubtedly be even more terrifying!

Most importantly, these two moves are so easy to recognize!

Like A-Quan, Shui Wutong and Chi Yansong, who had witnessed the clash between these two techniques last time, also changed their expressions when they found themselves under attack once again.

Using such moves on others under their control is one feeling, but when they are within the attack range, it can only be another feeling of helplessness and confusion.

Nobody wants to be wiped out by such a move.

Xia You, standing nearby, naturally saw through the intentions of the two Pokémon.

only……

Even if Deoxys and Rayquaza stop one of them, the other Primal Reverted Pokémon will still unleash this terrifying energy.

It seems I have no choice but to avoid the limelight for now...

There's nothing we can do about it. After all, as the ultimate move of two Primal Return Pokémon, we have to respect such terrifying power.

He quickly gave the order in his mind to have Deoxys and Black Rayquaza move away from that area. Then he said to A-Quan and Xiaoxia beside him, "I don't think it's very safe here. Let's retreat a bit more!"

A-Quan and Xiao-Xia naturally had no objections.

With the three prisoners in tow, the group quickly retreated to the other side of the island. At the same time, Xia You mentally instructed the three sacred birds in the sky to prepare for defense.

In terms of the location of the three sacred birds, they are not within the attack range, but what they need to do is to block the shock wave generated by the explosion and prevent it from having a huge impact on the surrounding sea and land!

Although there is no real danger, it is clearly not an easy task.

The group hurriedly headed towards the other side of the island. After running a few steps, Xia You looked back and found that although Deoxys had used Teleport to leave the attack range of Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre, Black Rayquaza was still there, swaying its body and launching an attack on the two Pokémon!

What a reckless fellow...

Clearly, it didn't know what was going to happen, or perhaps it was aware of the danger, but in its heart, it believed that it could withstand the blow!

But this is for the best. After this lesson, I believe it will definitely behave itself.

In just a few seconds, Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre were ready, and the next second, they moved almost simultaneously!

Two streams of energy, far larger and more dazzling than the last time they were seen, burst forth from both sides and collided in the center!

boom--! ! !

In an instant, a red and a blue energy pillar shot up from the ground and soared into the sky. They also heard an extremely loud explosion that made their eardrums ache. Before they could see what was happening, a powerful shockwave had already reached them, blowing Chi Yansong and the others off their feet!

Gardevoir erected a psychic barrier around Xia You, A Quan, and Xiao Xia to protect them. However, despite being nearly a thousand meters away from the explosion, the barrier only lasted for seven or eight seconds before being shattered by the shockwave. The three people behind the barrier were also knocked down by the strong wind!

Fortunately, the barrier blocked most of the energy, and it only caused Xia You and the other two to trip and fall.

When they got up and looked back at the center of the battlefield, they found that the energy of the cliff sword and the source fluctuations had not completely dissipated, just like a mushroom cloud, expanding and deforming outwards.

Xia You quickly looked around, searching for traces of her Pokémon.

First up is Deoxys. Due to teleportation, it has escaped the blast radius. Even the shockwaves could not shake its defenses, and it appears to have suffered no damage.

As for the Black Rayquaza...

Xia You searched around several times but couldn't find it; it had obviously been swept away somewhere by the impact.

As for whether it would be reduced to ashes in such an explosion, Xia You was more inclined to believe in its constitution, considering it was a legendary Pokémon and stood at the top of the food chain.

You may suffer a lot and get injured, but there is absolutely no danger to your life.

Since she couldn't find it for the time being, Xia You simply ignored it and turned her attention to the sky.

As can be seen, the shockwave from the explosion has reached the vicinity of the three sacred birds. At this moment, the three sacred birds are doing their best to block this impact. Thanks to their perseverance, although there are huge waves churning inside the triangular area, the area outside the triangle remains relatively calm.

However, judging from their appearance, they obviously cannot hold on for long and may collapse at any time!

Chapter 739 brings the curtain to a close.

Since that's the case, Xia You simply stopped letting them continue to resist.

After all, they have blocked it for so long, and most of the strongest impact has been blocked. Even if the remaining energy surges outward, it will not be able to cause too much damage to the Hoenn continent after it sweeps across the vast sea.

It is at most a severe storm level. Although it will still cause some damage to cities and villages, it is at least within the range that human society as a whole can tolerate.

He's done enough; now he should focus all his attention on Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre.

It's time to let these two guys taste the power of three birds combined!

When they captured Deoxys last time, the three legendary birds also used the Three Birds Combined attack, but it was blocked by Deoxys's Barrier and Defense modes. Even so, Deoxys was still damaged by the Three Birds Combined attack, destroying half of its body. It only appeared to be unharmed thanks to its super-fast regeneration.

but now……

Xia You wanted to see how Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre would handle this move!

Because of the great distance, Gardevoir's telepathy was no longer able to transmit the commands to the three legendary birds. However, Xia You came up with a clever solution: first, use telepathy to transmit the commands to Deoxys, and then Deoxys would set up a relay station to pass the commands down.

It must be said that this did indeed achieve very good results. Sure enough, not long afterward, Xia You and the Three Sacred Birds re-established contact.

The command was conveyed, and the three sacred birds flapped their wings and soared into the clouds, where they gathered together and began to gather energy.

At this moment on the battlefield, the explosions of the Precipice Sword and the Root Pulse finally subsided. Although their aftershocks continued to spread outward, the two Pokémon were now fighting each other again at the center of the explosion.

However, compared to before, they had some more obvious injuries. This was because although the two attacks canceled each other out, the shockwave from the explosion still caused them damage.

As for Rayquaza...

Xia You surveyed the battlefield and saw that the once lush and green island had been completely wiped out, leaving only broken branches and debris floating on the sea and sinking continuously. However, after scanning the surrounding area several times, she still could not find Rayquaza.

It must have been swept into the seabed by the explosion.

There was no danger to its life, but why hadn't it surfaced again? Xia You guessed that it must have endured the explosion so closely and might have been temporarily unconscious. It would probably take some time for it to regain consciousness.

Honestly, if they had just followed my orders, this wouldn't have happened.

Forget it, I don't have time to worry about it now.
