I caught a Pokémon

Add to that the planets hanging from the ceiling, and a small galaxy has appeared!

Looking at the two Pokémon floating on the field, Xia You slowly reached for her fanny pack.

This battle will be tough. Don't be fooled by the fact that it's only one match. The two opponents are twins who have fought side by side for a long time. It's no surprise that they'll have excellent teamwork. Therefore, I need to carefully consider my Pokémon choices.

After a moment's thought, he finally made his choice.

He threw out two Poké Balls and shouted, "Go, MetalGreymon! Milotic!"

With two flashes of blue light, his MetalGreymon and Milotic appeared in front of Luna Rock and Sunrock.

In terms of attributes, both Milotic (pure Water type) and Metallica (Steel/Psychic type) are somewhat effective against Lunatone and Solrock (Rock/Psychic type). On paper, it seems that Xia You has a significant advantage.

But things are often not as they seem.

As the Gym Leader, it's no surprise that Luna Stone and Solrock are quite powerful. Moreover, after working together for so long in this environment, they are not easy to deal with.

His own two Pokémon had only recently evolved and were still in their growth stage. They had never fought in a combination battle before, and their lack of experience made the battle less than optimistic.

Most importantly, both Solrock and Luna Stone are Psychic-type Pokémon, which are quite troublesome in actual battles.

It's a 50/50 situation.

This is Xia You's approximate probability of winning.

Of course, this is just his prediction. Who will win and who will gain the upper hand in the battle will all depend on how the Pokémon of both sides perform after the battle actually begins.

Seeing that both sides were ready, Rey signaled that the match should officially begin!

Xiao Feng launched the first attack right from the start.

"Sunrock, use Impact!"

This Sunrock was incredibly fast, crossing the halfway point in the blink of an eye and continuing its charge towards Milotic.

Xia You immediately saw through Xiao Feng's intention.

He didn't use any superpower-based attacks, only ramming into the target. It seems he wanted to test the waters a bit before fully understanding his own strength.

However, it's only the beginning, and he's already using such a straightforward attack. It might be okay to deal with those novice trainers, but to hit him so easily would be a miracle!

"Milotic, use the water gun!"

Upon hearing his command, Milotic opened its mouth and spewed out a long water jet, which struck the oncoming Solar Rock squarely, causing damage and interrupting its impact with the powerful water flow.

Almost simultaneously, from another direction, Moonstone also used a ramming attack, crashing into the metal monster.

Under Xia You's command, the metal monster did not dodge, but instead charged forward with a powerful ramming attack, clashing head-on with the moonstone.

boom!

While a collision between two objects can cause some damage to the user, the metal monster is clearly the winner in this collision.

The first round of the battle ended with Xia You's complete victory, which made Xiao Nan and Xiao Feng exchange a glance, both seeing a hint of caution in each other's eyes.

The person who came here is not kind...

In all previous gym battles, they would use this kind of unexpected attack to test their opponents. Although it may not seem like much, under their training, Solrock and Luna Stone's attack is not only very powerful but also very fast. There are not many trainers who can dodge or block it, let alone someone like this, who has actually caused them to suffer a loss in silence!

This made the two realize that the man in front of them might not be so easy to deal with.

With this in mind, the two of them stopped holding back and regarded this man as a formidable enemy, unleashing their full power!

"Moonstone, use the Freeze Beam!"

"Solar Rock, use Solar Beam!"

At their command, the two Pokémon began to gather their power simultaneously. The next second, two streams of energy of different colors burst forth from their mouths, each shooting toward its target!

To be honest, the moonstone paired with the cool, icy light of the frozen beams, and the sunstone paired with the dazzling orange-yellow light of the sunlight beams, really do give the impression of the sun and the moon in this environment.

Faced with such an attack, Xia You naturally wouldn't sit idly by and wait to die.

He quickly issued two commands, instructing MetalGreymon to use Psychic and Milotic to use Water Cannon.

The four attacks collided in the center of the arena, and in an instant, a loud explosion occurred. After the explosion, the water from the water cannons was evaporated by the heat wave, turning into steam that instantly enveloped most of the arena.

The steam completely blocked the view, making it impossible for either side to see each other's actions.

Out of caution, Xia You did not let the two Pokémon enter the water vapor, but silently waited for it to disappear.

However, after the water vapor floating in the air slowly dissipated, the traces of moonstone and sun rock disappeared from the ground!

Ok?

Gone?

Xia You was slightly surprised by their disappearance.

However, he reacted quickly and immediately realized where they were hidden!

Suddenly looking up, I saw two Pokémon hiding behind a huge planet under the ceiling!

Sure enough, it's here!

It's obvious that these two Pokémon took advantage of the steam to hide here, planning to launch a surprise attack!

Unfortunately, I had already figured it out!

In the Trainer Command Area on the other side, Xiao Nan and Xiao Feng were quite surprised to see that Xia You had discovered the location of the Moonstone and Sunrock so quickly.

This is a trick they've used for a long time.

For trainers who are challenging this place for the first time, aside from those who are simply slow to react, most people cannot adapt to this three-dimensional combat. Even though they were reminded before the battle, they still subconsciously ignore the planets above their heads during the battle, thus missing the best reaction time and being successfully attacked.

But to everyone's surprise, this man discovered the traces of the moonstone and the sun rock in the very first moment!

Was he on guard against this all along?

For them, since their tracks had already been discovered, the ambush had lost its meaning and could not achieve the effect of surprise.

In the blink of an eye, the sneak attack turned into a counterattack.

It can be said that the war had only been going on for a short while, but their three tried-and-true methods had already completely failed.

Now, it's Xia You's turn to launch a counterattack!

"Metal Monster, use the beam cannon!"

As a Steel-type ranged move, the Beam Cannon is quite powerful, especially effective against these two Rock-type Pokémon.

A powerful energy instantly formed in front of the metal monster's chest and shot out towards the moonstone and sunrock.

The beam cannon arrived in front of the two Pokémon in the blink of an eye. However, due to their long-term battles on such battlefields, they had become very familiar with the surrounding terrain. Without even needing Xiaonan and Xiaofeng's commands, they circled around to the back of a planet and avoided the attack.

However, although they managed to dodge it, the energy-generated cannonballs pierced through the planet where they were hiding!

Under its immense power, the entire planet model was melted, leaving a large hole. Furthermore, because it hit a critical part, the steel cables suspending the planet also snapped. The next second, the planet model, which was seven or eight meters in diameter, crashed onto the battlefield below.

This blow not only struck Xiaonan and Xiaofeng like a ton of bricks, but also exposed their Pokémon once again.

Looking down at the planet model that was now broken into several pieces on the ground, the two of them didn't know whether the man had just broken it by chance or had deliberately aimed at it to reduce the living space of their Pokémon!

It must have been a coincidence...?

The two exchanged a glance, somewhat surprised, but did not take it to heart.

They shouted at the same time, "Recite with all your might!"

The two Pokémon's signature Psychic-type attacks have finally arrived.

Although it was a bit tricky, Xia You calmly gave the order: "Metal Monster, let's go too. Let's form a barrier in front of us with our psychic powers!"

The metal monster's power alone was insufficient to withstand two attacks from strong mental energy simultaneously, but fortunately, Xia You's strategy did not lie in that.

After giving the command to MetalGreymon, he looked at Milotic and shouted, "Now! Get behind MetalGreymon and use Surf!"

Although the name might easily conjure up images of surfing in the ocean or gliding across the water, these are just stereotypes.

As one of the more powerful water-type moves, even in places without water, once it is used, it will instantly create huge waves that will continuously rush towards the opponent.

Sizzle...

Two invisible spiritual beams struck the barrier, their powerful force even causing the metal monster to slowly retreat.

At that moment, as a large amount of water spread outwards from Milotic, the situation was immediately reversed.

wow...

The massive waves crashed over the uneven battlefield, their immense force even lifting up the recently fallen planet and carrying it towards the moonstone and sunrock.

Xiao Nan and Xiao Feng dared not be careless in the slightest.

Putting aside the power of Surf, Water-type moves have a double advantage over their two Rock-type Pokémon, so they can't afford to take them lightly.

No longer caring about attacking the metal monster, they all ordered the moonstones and sun rocks to float into the sky. Little did they know, this was the moment Xia You had been waiting for!

A tornado instantly formed in the still-receding waves.

Sunrock and Moonstone couldn't dodge in time and were swept into the tornado. Because of their small size and the fact that they could only move by floating and didn't have powerful wings, they couldn't leave the tornado's range at all. And that wasn't the end of it. MetalGreymon also began to accumulate energy towards the center of the tornado, holding its energy and waiting for the moment when the tornado stopped and these two Pokémon showed a weakness!

Xiao Nan and Xiao Feng's hearts spun around along with the two Pokémon caught in the tornado...

Seeing the metal monster ready to attack at any moment made them extremely nervous!

Fortunately, their meteorite-like bodies made the two Pokémon quite sturdy. After enduring the entire tornado, they managed to escape unharmed as the tornado's energy was depleted and the wind subsided.

Although they didn't seem to be seriously injured, Xiao Nan and Xiao Feng's mood didn't improve.

Because they had already seen that the MetalGreymon, which had been preparing for a long time, had already targeted their Pokémon!

"Get out of the way!!!"

The two shouted at the same time, but the metal monster's attack arrived at the same moment they made their voices!

The Cannon shot flashed by, and just like its name suggests, its energy made it look like a large cannonball radiating intense light. Before the two Pokémon could dodge, the cannonball exploded in the center of them!

boom!

In an instant, the entire space battlefield was as bright as day!

Chapter 732 Are You Going to Save the World?

Not only Xiao Nan and Xiao Feng, but also their mother Lei Yi and Xiao Xia in the stands were dazzled by the white light.

They instinctively covered their faces with their hands, and only after seven or eight seconds, when the intense light of the cannon slowly faded, did they hurriedly look into the arena again, only to find that under such an attack, not only had another planet been blasted and fallen from the ceiling, but even the Sun Rock and Moon Stone had become battered and bruised!

The suffocating rhythm just now even prevented them from creating a light wall!

Fortunately, although they looked to be in grave danger, the two Pokémon did not fall.

This has been a fortune in misfortune.

This also shows that their meteorite-like bodies make them really hard!

This has nothing to do with Pokémon's attributes; it's purely their physical structure that has allowed them to survive until now!

Looking at Milotic and MetalGreymon, Konan and Kofun frowned.

So strong...

This is Xiao Nan and Xiao Feng's most direct impression of Xia You.

This isn't to say that his Pokémon are particularly powerful. After all, they can see that these two Pokémon still have room to grow, and their current strength is basically the same as Luna Stone and Solrock. But this man's strength lies in his tactics, command, and insight!

Even though the two Pokémon didn't seem to have much synergy under his command, their strength still increased dramatically because they faithfully executed all of the trainer's commands, allowing them to unleash power far beyond what was expected!

Although the two felt that this man was quite formidable, unlike any of their previous challengers, the outcome was still undecided, and there was still a chance for them to turn the tide.

They called the two Pokémon that were trembling and floating in the air back to their own half of the field. This time, they decided to launch an attack from a distance. In this way, the attack of the two Pokémon was guaranteed. Even if Milotic used Surf or Tornado again, they would have time to react and would not be as passive as before.

All I can say is that their idea was good, but they didn't expect that there would be such a big problem with their coordination.

Despite being twins who have guarded the gym together for so long and are rumored to have the ability to understand each other's thoughts, they somehow managed to collide with each other after choosing to launch another attack, even though their moves had only just reached the center of the field!

This time, not only did it not hit Menas and Metal Monster, it didn't even pose a threat.

Upon seeing this, Xiao Nan and Xiao Feng immediately started arguing.

"You're in my way!!"

"You're the one who's getting in my way!!"

"Nonsense, it's clearly your perspective that's flawed!"

"What nonsense are you talking about!? I was the one who should have attacked Milotic, but you went and focused on MetalGreymon. You changed the target without my permission!"
