I caught a Pokémon

Chapter 373 Three Birds Combined Attack

Xia You released the fire-breathing dragon, which carried her to the vicinity of the top of the crystal tower.

Although it had taken a powerful attack from Suicune that dealt four times the damage, Charizard's stamina had recovered somewhat after a short rest, and at least for now, it seemed to be in pretty good shape.

As for Xia You, although the three legendary birds were once again displayed in front of people, Xiao Zhi and Xiao Xia had a very good relationship with him. Moreover, they had both seen him fight the three legendary birds with the three mythical birds on Asia Island in the Orange Islands. Therefore, there was no need to hide anything about them from these two people.

Xiaogang is also a good friend, and most importantly, he is a trustworthy person, so there is no need to hide anything from him.

As for Hanako, she is, after all, an elder, and Xia You is willing to believe that she is a tight-lipped person and would not reveal her information.

In the end, only Mei was left, but she was just a little girl whose mind was not yet mature. Even if she told others that she saw a trainer with the three legendary birds, who would believe her?

Everyone would assume this was just the imagination of an innocent little girl, or that Xiaomei was inexperienced and mistook some rare bird Pokémon for the legendary birds.

Xia You even strongly suspected that, given Xiao Mei's age and limited understanding, she probably didn't even know what the Three Sacred Birds were!

There's no need to be wary of someone like that.

Once they reached high altitude, Xia You did not enter the tower, but instead sent the fire-breathing dragon to fly outside and observe them from behind the wall.

"How are things here? What just happened?!"

At this point, there was no place left to stand on the edge of the tower where Ash and his friends were. The room was filled with spreading crystals, and with sharp spikes emerging one after another, they had to have their Pokémon break these endless crystals to avoid turning them into hedgehogs!

Click!

Another clap of thunder streaked across the sky.

The sound, after being reflected and propagated through countless crystals, was both startling and seemingly capable of shattering people's eardrums!

Because the thunder was so loud, and it was mixed with the sounds of wind, rain, and snow, Xiaoxia could only put her hands to her mouth as a megaphone to transmit her voice to Xia You's ears.

"We don't know either, it just suddenly turned out like this in an instant!!"

Although Xiaoxia seemed a little confused about this matter, Xia You understood what was going on as soon as she heard it.

There must be something wrong with the unknown totems!

But it was precisely because of this sudden change that the transformed Entei stopped fighting Ash and instead protected Mei, also avoiding these crystals!

Clearly, the unknown totems have lost control of their power and have begun attacking indiscriminately, friend or foe!

Xia You pointed to the bottom of the tower and shouted, "There's an energy body created by an unknown totem in the bottom room. It seems that energy has reached its peak and started to go out of control! Go down and stop it!"

After saying that, he couldn't help but add again, "You'd better hurry!!"

Seeing Xia You's serious expression, Xiao Zhi realized the seriousness of the matter and nodded solemnly.

"I understand, leave it to us!"

Ash, Misty, Brock, and Hanako hurriedly ran towards the petal-shaped staircase. Even Mei and her Entei knew they couldn't stay there any longer, so they followed them down the tower.

Before going down, Ash took one last envious look at the three legendary birds soaring in the air.

Every time he saw these three sacred birds, he felt that Brother Xia You was truly amazing!

Although I had envied them many times before, these Pokémon in front of me are, after all, the legendary three birds! An ordinary person might not even see one in their entire life, but Xia You actually collected them all!

That's absolutely admirable!!

Xia You was naturally unaware of Xiao Zhi's feelings. After parting ways with the others, he patted Charizard, causing it to land and return to the ground.

Looking up at the battle before them, although the three legendary birds had a slight advantage at the moment, the three legendary beasts were not simple characters and could not be defeated so easily. They wondered how much longer they would have to fight to win this battle!

Perhaps if the three sacred birds were given more time, they would find an opportunity to defeat the three sacred beasts, but time is of the essence right now. An explosion could happen at any moment, so we must finish this battle quickly!

Thinking of this, he waved and summoned Gardevoir. With its help, Xia You used telepathy to give direct commands to the three legendary birds in their minds.

"The situation has changed, we don't have time to waste, let's use that move quickly!"

The move he was referring to was the combination technique used against the three divine birds on Asia Island! It was that move that dealt a heavy blow to the three divine birds and won the battle!

After further practice, this move has now been fully completed and officially named the Three Birds Combination Strike!

The telepathic connection accurately detected the target and conveyed Xia You's command into the minds of the three sacred birds.

Upon hearing his command, Moltres, Articuno, and Zapdos paused, then let out a loud cry, abandoning their respective opponents and flying together.

On the ground, the three sacred beasts, who were originally engaged in a fierce battle, all looked up at the sky when they saw their opponent suddenly disappear.

Above them, three large bird Pokémon of different colors circled in the sky and began to spiral upwards. Influenced by their power, even the clouds were swept upwards at an extremely fast speed!

The sky grew even darker.

Due to their different attributes, the three legendary birds glowed with red, blue, and yellow light, making them appear so bright in the darkness! Even Professor Oak and his friends, far away at the Pokémon Center, could see them clearly!

Although they were very far from the battlefield, everyone in front of the Pokémon Center felt their hearts sink to the bottom as the dark cloud rolled upwards like a tornado.

They all seemed to sense that something big was about to happen!

"Professor..." The female reporter turned to Professor Oak and asked cautiously, "What do the three legendary birds want to do?"

“I don’t know either.” Professor Oak shook his head, holding out his hand and feeling a strong wind blowing through his fingers. “But whatever it is, what’s coming next is very likely to be a terrifying scene…”

At this moment, in the center of the battlefield, the fur on the three sacred beasts had all stood up, showing their restlessness!

Even though they didn't know what the three sacred birds were going to do, they already felt a deep sense of fear!

They wanted to escape, but their intuition screamed a warning: if they took a step, they would be met with unparalleled divine punishment!

Chapter 374 The Dance of Birds

As the three sacred birds continued to spiral upwards, the clouds grew thicker and thicker, and lightning flashed intermittently within them. However, it did not strike down randomly as it had before; instead, it remained contained within the clouds. Clearly, the three sacred birds were accumulating energy there, brewing something terrifying.

Gengar turned to Xia You and urged, "Let's leave here quickly, it'll be dangerous if we stay any longer!"

As a witness to the birth of this move, Gengar also knows the terrifying power that is about to come, and apart from a very few Pokémon, it knows that no one can withstand the energy outpouring that follows!

Xia You nodded.

The combined attack of the three birds has immense power and range. Since he is not a Pokémon, if he were within the attack range, he would probably be completely annihilated, leaving not even a trace. To avoid being affected, one must stay as far away as possible.

Xia You put away Gardevoir, mounted Charizard, and flew off into the distance with Gengar.

However, before flying away, he took one last look at the crystal tower.

Hopefully, Ash and his friends have already reached the bottom of the tower. If they're still dawdling up there, those guys will definitely get dragged down with them...

But then I thought, even if I get implicated, it doesn't matter.

After all, the physical abilities of a Super Rookie cannot be measured by common sense. Not only can he throw a tree, lift Tyranitar, and push Wailord, but he can also survive being electrocuted or burned. No matter what happens, he will never die except for a plot-related death!

Even Xiaoxia and Xiaogang, after spending so much time with Xiaozhi, seem to have become unusual!

There's absolutely no need to worry about them!

In the arena, under the pressure of the tense atmosphere, the three sacred beasts became increasingly restless. Out of instinct, they each launched attacks towards the sky, vainly trying to stop the three sacred birds!

Flames, lightning, and water erupted from the mouths of the three sacred beasts, shooting straight into the sky!

However, these powerful attacks, once they hit the dark clouds, were like stones sinking into the sea. They could only penetrate a few layers of clouds before disappearing without a trace. Even the places that had just been penetrated were quickly filled by other clouds!

It seems to have absolutely no effect, barely causing a ripple!

In fact, judging from the strength of both sides, the Three Sacred Birds and the Three Sacred Beasts are basically the same, not much stronger than them. If the Three Sacred Birds can use such powerful strength, then the Three Sacred Beasts, which are of the same level, can naturally use equal strength to contend with them.

Unfortunately, the three legendary beasts did not cooperate with each other at all and could not unleash such powerful energy together. Moreover, the most important point is that the three legendary birds are, after all, bird Pokémon. When they fly into the clouds, they can use the power of the weather to cause climate changes, thereby maximizing the energy!

The saying "rain borrows the power of wind, and wind amplifies the power of rain" illustrates this principle.

Conversely, Pokémon on the ground find it difficult to do this, and since they cannot draw upon the energy of heaven and earth, the power of their moves is naturally much weaker.

Charizard sped through the Crystal Forest, carrying Xia You towards the Pokémon Center.

At this moment, above Xia You's head, above the clouds, Moltres, Zapdos, and Articuno were wrapped in flowing clouds, as if they were performing a strange bird dance. With each flap of their wings, the energy within their bodies could be clearly seen slowly dissipating into the clouds!

The lightning grew smaller, yet it continued to converge towards the Three Holy Birds.

The wind, rain, and snow caused by the recent battle suddenly stopped, like the calm before a storm.

As they flew further away from the center of the battlefield, Xia You suddenly saw a figure on the ground moving towards the Crystal Tower.

Upon closer inspection, it was none other than Rika!

Huh? What's she doing here?

Are you here to see them?

Despite her doubts, Xia You continued her actions, patting the fire-breathing dragon's neck to lower its altitude and fly rapidly toward Lijia.

On the other side, sensing something approaching, Rika looked up and saw Xia You riding a fire-breathing dragon charging towards her!

Just as Lijia was about to call out Xia You's name, before she could even open her mouth, the Charizard had already swept up to her side!

"Come on up!"

As Xia You's voice rang out, before Li Jia could even react, she felt her hand being grabbed and her entire body being pulled up into the air!

"what!?"

Lijia was stunned. When she came to her senses, she found herself already in Xia You's arms!

On the back of the fire-breathing dragon, Xia You held Li Jia's back with one hand, while her other hand conveniently supported her buttocks.

With the soft jade in her arms, feeling its gentle touch, Xia You couldn't help but feel a little distracted.

But he didn't do it on purpose.

There was no other way. Because it was too rushed and the situation was urgent, there was no time to stop and wait for Rika to climb onto the fire-breathing dragon safely. So, I didn't care about the difference between men and women and abruptly hugged Rika to my chest!

Lijia felt extremely embarrassed when Xia You hugged her.

But given her temperament, she wouldn't get angry over something like this. Knowing that Xia You must have had a reason for doing this, she suppressed her shyness and pretended to be calm, asking, "What's wrong? What happened?"

Xia You forced herself to stay alert: "Quickly look behind you!"

Lijia was taken aback when she heard this, and then looked behind Xia You.

In the pitch-black sky, a cloud was emitting a dangerous light, so conspicuous and dazzling in the darkness!

Even from a distance, she could sense the danger!

Although she knew that Xia You and the others were fighting enemies in the Crystal Tower, she had just been traveling through the Crystal Forest, and the crystallized branches and rocks had blocked her view, so she couldn't see what was happening like Professor Oak and the others, and naturally she didn't know about the strange changes in the sky.

Seeing it now, I can't help but be a little shocked.

"What...what's going on here!?"

Xia You didn't hide anything and told her everything about the three sacred birds and his plan to use the three birds in combination.

"What!?"

Lijia was shocked to hear Xia You's words!

It was only then that she realized that these six legendary Pokémon were actually real!

Xia You is actually battling a legendary Pokémon! And what's even more unbelievable is that the three legendary birds are all Xia You's Pokémon!

When did he subdue them?!

Thinking of this, she couldn't help but recall when she, Xia You, and the Interpol agents raided Team Rocket's base. When facing Team Rocket's executive Apollo, Xia You seemed to be intentionally using some trump card.

Did he already have the three legendary birds back then?

She originally thought she had a certain understanding of the man in front of her, but now it seems that there are still too many mysteries about him that have not been revealed!

Chapter 375 Energy Unleashed

Although the process of the bird dance seems to take a long time, it actually only takes a few minutes.

When the power in the clouds accumulated enough, the sky finally underwent a change.

What kind of scene was that?

After being scattered and recombined by countless water particles, lightning particles, and fire particles, they reassembled and, like a pillar of light, began to pour down rapidly!

The beam of light was at least tens of meters in diameter, and it shone brightly, as bright as the sun in the dark night sky!

In front of the Pokémon Center in Greenland Town, Professor Oak and the others stared in shock at the scene in the distance.

The female reporter rubbed her eyes and murmured, "What is that?! A waterfall in the clouds?!"
