Let go of that monster girl!

The entire loading action was clumsy, but it only took less than sixty breaths.
"put!"
A second loud bang.
The solid bullet whistled as it slammed into the densely packed left flank of the beast horde.
The stench of blood and bone fragments splattered everywhere, limbs and entrails lay scattered on the ground, and the herd was in chaos. Chimeras charged left and right, trampling each other and emitting piercing howls.
They frantically twisted their eyes-covered heads, looking around frantically, but couldn't find the attacker's direction at all.
The mouse girls shaded their eyes with their little hands and stared intently with their wide round eyes. Although they couldn't see very clearly, they could still make out the chaotic scene.
The mice cheered, and Morren smiled.
"Hit! Squeak!"
"Although it seems like the location I hit wasn't the one I calculated."
But after watching for a while, the smile on Moran's face slowly disappeared.
This herd of beasts.
Isn't that a bit too much?
Chapter 24 A Brand New Monster Girl
it hurts.
It looks like it's bleeding.
Sulfur struggled to open its eyes, only to see a dark red chaos.
Something heavy was pressing down on her, still warm from her body, its stiff tail draped furry beside her face.
Who am I...? Where am I...?
Sulfur stared blankly upwards, unable to focus on anything.
Consciousness gradually returned to the body as the blood slowly flowed back in.
I think I escaped the royal city and was heading to the low mountains, so why am I here?
Jimmy.
Who is Jimmy...?
Sulfur gripped the shoulders of the corpse pressing down on him with both hands, trying with all his might to push it away.
But she was too weak to push him.
So she changed to pressing down on the catgirl's head with both hands, her palms against the cold cheeks, and slowly pulled herself out from under the heavy pile of corpses.
Blood, blood everywhere.
The pool of blood beneath her, still wet with blood, was like a dark red mirror, reflecting a pale face.
Her short, white hair lay disheveled on her neck, soaked in blood and turned a deep red.
Her skin was as pale as porcelain, which contrasted sharply with her scarlet pupils. Her exquisite features were covered in blood and dirt, and her round cheeks were scraped and bleeding.
Round mouse ears stood up from among the white hair, and a corner of the left ear was missing, with the wound slowly healing.
A terrifying snort came from all directions, heavy and rapid.
A terrible stench followed, the smell of rotting flesh and blood so strong it was nauseating.
Sulfur already knew what it would see if it looked up.
Despair slowly crept up her spine, gripped her heart, and made her tremble.
She still raised her head.
The village was reduced to ruins, surrounded by a motley collection of bizarre and twisted beasts that formed deformed hills.
The monster was a composite of a bear and a lizard, with a row of antlers growing from its back, each antler hanging with bits of dried flesh.
The hooves and claws made a sticky sound as they pounded in the pool of blood, and more silhouettes could be seen in the darkness further away.
Countless eyes, growing on faces and backs, were all staring at the sulfur in the center of the pool of blood.
Behind Sulfur, a mountain of catgirl corpses lay, blood seeping from the gaps in the pile and slowly flowing along the cracks in the ground.
They converged in the center of the square, in the very middle of the herd of beasts, and beneath the sulfur, exuding a suffocatingly strong stench of blood.
"what."
Sulfur trembled, its gaze falling on the mouth of the nearest chimera.
A face hung between her uneven teeth; it was the face that had once taken her into the village, the face whose smile had once been so lovely.
Why, why, why?
Why am I still alive?
The lake of blood slowly gathered towards the sulfur, gradually flowing into her broken legs.
Am I really a monster?
The herd of beasts stared at her with countless eyes as they slowly approached.
Goddess of Creation, when will all this end?
Suddenly, a silvery-white arc of light exploded in the darkness.
It shot out from a high place behind the herd of beasts, silently slicing open the necks of the two outermost chimeras.
Before the two deformed heads could even hit the ground, countless cold glints followed closely behind.
Dozens of cross-shaped flying blades, crafted from high-quality steel, weaved through the horde of beasts along various bizarre arcs.
It severed the Achilles tendon, embedded itself in the eye socket, and even after bouncing through the air two or three times, it could still bend back and pierce the throat of another monster.
The beasts roared deafeningly and turned to rush towards the direction of the attack.
A slender fox shadow leaped out of the darkness and landed on the back of the largest chimera beast.
She wore a magnificent robe with embroidered gold sleeves and held a long, gracefully curved sword in her hand.
The blade was drawn the moment the beast leaped into the air, its cold light flashing like mercury as it sliced across the beast's spine, cleaving through the thick carapace and the twisted muscles beneath.
Driven mad by pain, the chimera beast suddenly raised its massive head, formed by the fusion of three wolf heads.
The figure moved as steadily as if walking on flat ground, his wooden clogs treading between the bone spikes of the beasts. His long sword deflected a giant claw that came crashing down from the side, and with a swift turn of the blade, he severed the bear's foot that was supporting it on the ground.
Then, it leaned back to avoid the wolf's mouth biting down from above, its long black hair and fox tail swirling in the air.
The long sword plunged into the upper jaw of the chimera beast from bottom to top, the tip of the sword emerging from the top of its head, splitting the head in two.
The massive bodies of the chimeras collapsed one after another, kicking up clouds of dust.
The figure leaped lightly from the collapsed beast corpse, the wooden clogs lightly touching the pool of blood without splashing a single drop.
There were still a dozen or so chimera beasts left, and they were besieging the fox girl foot soldiers who were following behind.
The foot soldiers formed small groups and used spears and katanas to defend themselves, but the strength and size of these monsters far exceeded their expectations, and their formation was quickly broken up. Two fox girls were swept away by the tails of the chimeras.
The figure walked forward with his sword, and with each swing of the long sword, a chimera fell down.
He slashed the leg horizontally, then chopped the chest upwards, and finally thrust his backhand into the heart.
In less than the time it takes to drink half a cup of tea, there wasn't a single chimera left standing in the square.
She swung the knife, splashing blood, and the grime on the blade was flung into the ground in an arc, without even a drop of blood getting on the hem of her clothes.
Sulfur then realized that she was an extremely beautiful black-haired fox spirit.
Her hair was as black and thick as silk, and her face was delicate yet sharp.
The loose-fitting robe couldn't conceal her full breasts and slender waistline, and a fluffy black fox tail swayed slowly behind her.
She sheathed her long sword at her waist, her face full of disgust, and turned away without a word.
Another brown fox, dressed as a mean-looking businessman, with a wicked grin on its face, sauntered out from the group of soldiers.
"I really can't understand the habits of these monsters. They kill their prey and then pile them up. Luckily, they are no match for the head of the family."
Her voice was soft and pleasant, but her laughter carried a chilling undertone.
"The dirty and hard work still has to be done by us servants. There must still be quite a few survivors in the village. Search."
The fox-girl foot soldiers obeyed and dispersed. In no time, twenty or thirty cats of all sizes were pulled out one by one from the bottom of the well in the cellar.
They were herded to the edge of the square and huddled together, trembling and crying so hard they couldn't speak.
The fox-girl merchant wagged her tail as she walked up to the catgirls, bent down, and gave them a gentle smile.
“We’re not bad guys, we’re doing legitimate business, and our prices are quite fair.”
"As for how you will redeem your lives, let's discuss it slowly in the market."
The cats shivered and huddled together.
It's those foxes again, those damned foxes, why do they always come at such the right time?
"Release them, and I'll go with you."
The sound came from the center of the pool of blood. Sulfur stood up, supporting himself on his knees, his bare feet stepping into the blood.
The fox-woman merchant turned around, her golden eyes taking in the blood-covered white rat with great interest.
"Oh, and you are this little mouse?"
Sulfur drew a dagger from his waist and pointed the blade at his throat.
She reached up and pulled open her collar, revealing the noose-like runes around her neck:
"Give them dry rations, weapons for self-defense, two hundred gold coins, and a map to Wolfsburg."
The seal of a top-tier rune master—how could there possibly be a living top-tier rune master outside the royal city!
The fox-woman merchant stuck out her tongue and greedily licked her teeth:
“My lord, you are truly generous.”
Chapter 25 This girl is left to the Baron
The slave traders' camp was brightly lit, with tens of thousands of fluorite lamps hanging from wooden poles and ropes, illuminating the surrounding wasteland as if it were daytime.
Slaves of various races bent over and dragged building materials under the lamplight.
The rat girl carried the wooden beam, the wolf girl carried the stones, and the dragon girl carried the cart full of sand, the iron chains on their ankles rattling.
The foundation of the new market has been completed, and the sounds of the overseer's shouts and the tamping of earth are heard.
Buyers, sellers, travelers seeking supplies, and eager merchants.
Caravans of various shapes and purposes converged from all directions of the camp.
Two of the groups stopped at the edge of the slave market, not far apart.
On the back of the giant rats on the left, a group of catgirls jumped out first, followed by a group of lemming girls who squeaked and meowed as they shook off the dust from the cargo.
The carriages on the right opened, and several fully armed fox girls stepped out first, followed by a small group of rat girls tightly tied together with ropes, who followed quietly with their heads down.
Sulfur was pushed forward by two fox girls, one on each side, with iron chains tied to its wrists.
She turned her head, her gaze piercing through the gaps in the crowd, to the jubilant cat-and-mouse caravan on the other side.
The chestnut-colored catgirl, who looked like the leader, stood on the back of the giant rat, holding a piece of parchment with the Baron's wax seal aloft.
"Long live the Baron! The cats are going to be rich! The cats are going to take all the cats out of the Dark Zone! Meow!"
Jimmy waved the license, and the cats behind him cheered. The lemmings could only laugh and shake their heads, letting the cats celebrate.
I can't believe it's that silly cat again.
Sulfur turned her face away, covering her profile with her disheveled white hair.
When I first escaped into the dark zone, this cat shared some dry food with me and told me to keep going south, where there was a glowing hill that looked like cheese.
There are many other rats in the low mountains, as well as a rather perverted and very handsome baron who is very keen on rescuing all kinds of girls under 1.5 meters tall.
We can't let that stupid cat find out that we've been caught again.
