It was a magnificent cave built against the foundation of a tower, its entrance covered by a pale purple silk curtain, through which the light inside could be faintly seen.

Purple Spider sat on the main stage.

She wore a gorgeous deep purple dress, the hem of which was spread out on the stone platform and embroidered with intricate patterns.

Her upper body retained the form of a human female, with a dignified face, gentle expression, and long, deep purple hair that reached her waist.

Her lower body—the spider's abdomen—was a huge, semi-transparent sac, inside which one could vaguely see a complex neural network structure, like an exposed super brain, connected to countless spider silk threads as thick as arms, extending to all parts of the city lord's mansion's walls and floors.

The threads, like cables, were embedded in the external sockets of the stone crevices, gleaming with a dim yet rhythmic light under the lamp.
