“I overheard your conversation. If it weren’t for you and this naked woman, I would never have had the chance to enter the secret world in my life.”

"I gained a lot during my time alone in the secret world."

“I sense a place calling to me, a place that might be more suitable for me.”

"Do you remember what I told you about why I chose to become a necromancer?"

Li Wei recalled, "Leaving Golden Island to explore the vast continent of Grand?"

Fina's eyes lit up, and she said:

"Correct!"

“If I go back to Rolling Stones with you, I’ll just be a necromancer hiding in the mass grave next to the mass grave, stealing broken bones to piece together undead puppets.”

"I will never have the chance to leave Golden Island in my lifetime."

"This may be my only chance, and I don't want to give up."

Li Wei looked at Willow, and Willow truthfully replied:

"The Secret World is incredibly mysterious. Some professionals do find areas in the Secret World that are more suitable for their development and are thus teleported there. There are many such cases."

Li Wei subconsciously thought of Yulia.

Could this be the reason she was thrown from the Eastern Continent to Rolling Stone Town in the Northern Continent by the Secret World?

Li Wei looked at Fina, whose face was resolute, and reminded her:

"The world there is unknown, are you sure?"

Fina said confidently:

"Compared to a future I can foresee, I'd rather seize this opportunity to fight for a possible miracle."

"And—I've even activated a spiritual ability here that I didn't have before!"

"I am willing to follow my heart!"

Fina revealed her elemental crystals on her left wrist. Her necromancy and spirit were both in the "lit" stage. The dim earth, water, and fire elemental crystals proved that she had the potential to reach the third tier or higher.

Seeing this, Li Wei stopped trying to persuade him.

After kissing Levi goodbye, Fina walked towards the door.

She pushed open the door, took a step out, and her figure disappeared into the secret world...

Fina's stubborn choice touched Willow, who had been locked in the secret world for an unknown period of time.

She pointed to the only wall without a bookshelf.

A six-pointed star pattern appeared there, shining brightly.

"Going through it leads to the outside of the painting."

"You guessed right. I was indeed trapped here because of my exploration of the true name of the dark space. This study is a safe house that I created using arcane characters, and it is also my place of imprisonment."

"Li Wei, you should go."

"I was wrong. I stubbornly believed that I was doing this for your own good and ignored your feelings. I'm sorry."

Willow understood that she couldn't force Li Wei to stay.

She had little rationality left.

During their intimate encounter, Willow discovered a startling fact: Levi's rationality had actually increased rather than decreased in the secret world!

Li Weiyuan was more mysterious than she had imagined.

She will definitely "die" before Li Wei.

Even after she "dies," Li Wei can still return the way he came.

That being the case.

Willow decided to adopt a "turn back before it's too late" attitude in an attempt to salvage her image in Li Wei's eyes.

Just as she had initially guessed.

The only chance for him to leave the secret world in this lifetime lies with Li Wei.

The six-pointed star formation is in the middle of the wall.

Li Wei used the hands of a sorcerer to arrange three steps.

He stepped onto the first level, and eleven elemental crystals appeared on his left wrist.

Fire is bright, necromancy is half-bright, and spirit is lit, just like before.

However, the elemental crystals of Earth, Water, Alchemy, Nature, Lightning, Wind, Ice, and Light all transitioned from a state of darkness to the "lit-up" stage...

The talent for mastering all elements is now on full display.

Willow was stunned; it was the first time she had ever seen someone light up eleven elements simultaneously at level 1.

My understanding of Li Wei's talent has been refreshed once again...

Li Wei stepped onto the second-level mage's hand staircase.

I have a more intuitive understanding of the "fusion of all elements".

He is indeed taking a path of elemental fusion that no one has tried before.

Li Wei stepped onto the third-tier Mage's Hand staircase, turned around, and said to Willow:

Do you know what the biggest difference is between you and me?

"That's also why I didn't make an 'irrational' choice because of the White Tower area."

Willow said subconsciously:

"what?"

Li Wei smiled brightly and said:

"You consider the White Tower area your final destination in this life."

"For me, the White Tower area is just a stop on my predetermined journey."

"Looking forward to seeing you again."

"Willow".

Li Wei stepped into the elemental magic circle and left the secret world along the same path.

My first exploration of the world was incredibly rewarding.

As a new author.

I am very excited to have achieved the current pre-release status of my first book.

Compared to the data feedback, what I am most encouraged by is seeing so many supportive readers following the latest chapters every day; casting their valuable recommendation votes and monthly tickets; and leaving interesting comments and supportive book reviews.

Every time I open the assistant's backend, I feel greatly encouraged!

The book "The Master" has come a long way thanks to everyone's care and support.

Even kowtowing ten thousand times wouldn't be enough to express my gratitude.

All I can do is ensure that every chapter, once published, is worthy of everyone's subscriptions.

Here I can assure you that I will always adhere to the traditional hand-crafting method and refuse any form of AI intervention in the creation, including common embellishments and "minor" descriptions such as landscapes.

At the editor's suggestion, to avoid unnecessary trouble, I have kept a record of every chapter I wrote. I have a private group to store these records, and I can provide the writing record of any chapter or any day at any time. Please rest assured that this habit of keeping records will continue until the end of this book.

Returning to the book itself, to be frank...

I never imagined I would achieve this level of success before publishing the book.

Because of my subject matter, I am very clear that it is not a "viral" type, and it has no advantage during the new book period.

Before I started writing the book, I was prepared to write hundreds of thousands, even over a million words. For a genre like mine, I feel that the more words I write, the greater the advantage and the more attractive it is to readers.

When I realized that my book would perform well in the initial stage of its new release, I was torn between maintaining the pace and tone set before the book's launch, or speeding up the pace to achieve better data in the new release period and choosing a pace that was more in line with the new release period.

After much thought, I decided to follow my initial idea.

Because I feel that the experts who have followed this book by the mage to this point must not be those who lack the "explosive" pace that I lack.

Blindly doing things I'm not good at will only backfire.

Let's expand on the subject matter.

This book will not touch upon any form of "politics of intrigue and deceit, power struggles and backstabbing"; its core remains the theme of the title: "The Mage, the Adventurer, and the Woman."

Besides being an author, I am also a reader, and I also have the troubles of a reader. Some books are fine before they are published, but after they are published, they become uncontrollably engrossed in messy politics and power struggles. When I read them, all I want to do is shout: "Damn it, refund my money!"

Compared to confining oneself to a corner to ponder politics and power struggles, the vast and magnificent continent of Grand is more worthy of exploration.

In my personal opinion, Western fantasy adventurer themes must have ample imagination. Power struggles and politics obviously limit imagination, so I would never touch them. Compared to the rich and colorful lives of adventurers, that would be too boring...

In an early chapter, I used the supporting female character "Fina" to demonstrate the vastness of the Grand Continent.

My choice to showcase the grandeur of the world view in advance has drawbacks that outweigh advantages, but I don't regret it. As I just said, imagination is the most important core of my subject matter. A sufficiently grand world view can give me ample imagination and also provide the big shots who have read this far with the imagination to envision the future plot.

If I were writing fantasy or xianxia (Chinese fantasy), I definitely wouldn't do it this way. I would develop the world-building step by step, rather than expanding it in this violent manner.

This is my first time writing a post about my book's release. I rambled on and on, thankfully it's free, otherwise the big shots would have been yelling at me, "You bastard, give me my money back!"

Returning to the beginning, the successful publication of this book is inseparable from the support of every big shot. It is you who have brought me to where I am today step by step.

After it goes on sale at 00:03 tomorrow morning, all I can do is give back to every big shot who likes and supports this book, Mage, with content worth subscribing to.

We also hope that everyone can do their part to subscribe and support the author on the Qidian Reading app, because Qidian has a first-time subscription ratio calculation method, which is basically linked to the future of the book.

Now that we've come this far, the young author would like to look forward to a broader future...

Hey.

The author doesn't offer bonus chapters for donations. Given the current climate, everyone can see how things are. The author is already extremely grateful for anyone who supports the subscription of "The Mage, the Adventurer, and the Woman" on Qidian Reading.

To be honest, this was my first time writing a post-launch message, so I really had no experience. Before I started writing, I was even thinking about whether I should pour out my grievances and play the victim.

On second thought.

People read books to have fun, and I'm just making things harder for everyone by complaining.

Finally, regarding the chapter content after it goes on sale tomorrow, it will be a complete story, and there won't be any parts that leave you feeling stuck at the point where you're about to enjoy the story.

Last but not least, I want to thank my editor, [拂尘]. Without his support, I wouldn't be who I am today. If we were to pull out our WeChat chat history, I think it would be quite amusing and would also serve as proof of my perseverance.

When I finish writing my closing remarks, I'll post the chat logs from before I started writing and publishing this book so everyone can see them.

Last but not least, following the usual practice for book listings, I'm offering up three books by my friends in online groups who have been the source of my emotional baggage.

Author: Thoughts Not Clear

Briefly: Known as "the one in Jiangnan who is not enlightened by small ideas," he has written countless novels, including Dragon Clan and original fantasy novels. His writing skills are amazing. His new book is an attempt to delve deeper into the plot. I am very optimistic about it and have been following it to the latest chapter. I still remember a sentence from the beginning of his previous book, Bodhi Tree. I have forgotten the specifics, but it was something like touching your scalp and comparing yourself to the sky.

I'm so angry and cold! Why didn't I write such cheesy lines?!
