"Roar!"

A roar rang out, a wall was shattered, and a tall, green figure appeared before everyone.

Hulk leaped lightly and landed on the lawn, his angry eyes fixed on the annoying things.

"Hammer, it's time to bring out your big guys." General Ross took out his walkie-talkie and told Justin Hammer to bring over the equipment.

"Coming right away, General," Justin replied.

Above those armed helicopters, two large cargo helicopters began to descend, and below them was a 15-meter-tall 'mech'.

The mecha has a standard humanoid structure, is tall and robust, and is exceptionally heavy and solid. It has no streamlined design at all and is made entirely of sharp-edged block armor plates.

This is a large manned ground combat mech developed by Hammer Industries. They originally intended it to be like Iron Man, but it got bigger and bigger, and ended up looking like this.

The two large cargo helicopters released their slings, and the pilots activated the jetpacks' thrusters to reduce the impact of landing.

With a deafening roar, the ground combat mech and the Hulk stared at each other.

The two giants stared at each other, but the land-based mechs had armed helicopters, armored vehicles, machine gun crews, snipers, two tanks, and a specially designed sonic cannon on the road.

Alone, Hulk roared at the guys who only wanted his power, then leaped toward the largest land-based mech and threw his fist.

The ground-based mech also threw a punch with a slightly sluggish movement. The two 'iron fists' collided, and the ground-based mech was initially at a slight disadvantage. However, the heavy machine gun fire from the armed helicopter and armored vehicle kept Hulk unable to raise his head for a short period of time.

Hulk landed back on the ground, suppressed by a barrage of artillery fire. He let out a series of unwilling roars, his anger rapidly building.

"Give me more firepower; we can't give this monster a chance to escape."

General Ross felt this was the closest he had ever come to success, and Betty, standing beside him, was already in tears. Perhaps she was the only one who didn't see Hulk as someone who needed to be controlled.

"Banner!"

Just then, a strong wind suddenly swept through the surroundings without warning.

Chapter 69 Big Toy (5/4, please vote for me and follow up)

As the gale swept through, countless grains of sand were whipped up, and General Ross was momentarily blinded by the wind. He shielded his eyes from the sand and was utterly perplexed.

They had consulted the local weather station before setting off, and the response they received was that there wouldn't be any strong winds today.

As the airflow intensified, the armed helicopters in the sky found it increasingly difficult to maintain their balance, even to the point of crashing towards the ground.

At this moment, several streams of blue air transformed into large hands, forcibly pulling the crew members out and then safely placing them in a distant location.

Boom—

The armed helicopter, now without its crew, crashed to the ground, eventually turning into a few sparks.

After the armed helicopters withdrew, Hulk's pressure was greatly reduced. His massive figure charged at an armored vehicle under the gunfire, smashing the front of this battlefield weapon flat with a single punch. He then tore apart the top autocannon before attacking another armored vehicle, without actively attacking any humans in the process.

With a few quick movements, Hulk eliminated the enemy's firing points, leaving only one land-based mech standing in place.

"Sir, what's the next step?" the driver asked Ross, the highest-ranking officer on the scene, looking bewildered.

General Ross cursed the sudden gust of wind in his heart, while simultaneously speaking into his walkie-talkie to the pilot of the ground combat mech:

"You just need to hold off the target, and the second round of support will arrive soon."

"Yes, sir," the mech pilot replied, then gritted his teeth and pushed the control stick. A large number of precision components began to operate, and he threw another punch at Hulk.

However, the enormous steel fist remained suspended in mid-air, unable to land on Hulk.

"Soldiers, what are you doing? Attack!!!" General Ross roared.

"Sir, I also want to attack that monster, but the operating system tells me that my fist has already touched an object." The mech pilot was also very puzzled.

It wasn't until a blue hue appeared that the mech pilot saw a wall entirely composed of blue air currents.

"What a dangerous toy." A dark blue figure slowly landed, lifted by the air currents.

Li Ai, who had retrieved the two sensors, stood next to Hulk, but his eyes were fixed on the fifteen-meter-tall land combat mech. He was very worried that the mech used some kind of dangerous technology.

After dealing with the first wave of attacks, Hulk noticed that there was a 'blue man' next to him. He was breathing hot air from his nostrils and looking at Li Ai with a slightly wary gaze, but he remained silent.

Noticing Hulk's wary gaze, Li Ai turned around and reassured him, "Don't worry, big guy, I can be your friend."

Hulk's eyes remained wary. He had been targeted since his 'birth,' especially by General Ross and others who wanted to turn him into a weapon of war.

Under such circumstances, it's difficult for Hulk to feel kindness towards strangers, and it's no wonder that he eventually chose to leave Earth and find a sense of belonging on Sakaar, a planet that reveres power.

“I’ll deal with that big metal lump. You take care of the guns, but please don’t hurt anyone,” Li Ai tried to negotiate with Hulk.

"Huff..." Hulk responded to Li Ai with a heavy breath, then turned his gaze to the armored vehicle not far away.

The ground-based mech wanted to pursue Hulk, so it raised its other mechanical arm, intending to punch Hulk, but was stopped by Li Ai.

A blue stream of air lifted the entire land combat mech. Li Ai manipulated the airflow to seep into the connection gaps and inspected the mech's internal structure. He ultimately determined that the energy source driving the land combat mech was a new type of battery, rather than dangerous nuclear energy.

This relieved Li Ai, allowing him to dismantle the massive machine with peace of mind. He withdrew all controls from the land-based mech, causing the steel behemoth to crash to the ground.

"Sir, the mech can't get up, and we only have one minute left to keep moving!" the pilot shouted anxiously.

The land-based mech does have serious flaws. In high-intensity combat environments, the battery can only provide a maximum of ten minutes of combat time, and it is extremely dependent on support.

Before General Ross could respond, Li Ai had already stepped onto the land combat mech. He bent his five fingers, and the blue high-pressure airflow moved at will, forcefully tearing open the armor outside the cockpit to reveal the terrified pilot.

"You weren't even given a safety escape device. You should find a new boss if you have the chance." Li Ai looked at the man, casually sent a gust of air flying hundreds of meters away, and then launched his ultimate attack.

【Stream! Vanish! Z?Z?Z! 】

A surging blue current coiled around Li Ai's right fist. He became the eye of the storm, slamming his fully charged punch into the mech, using the storm to slice this creation of Hammer Industries into strips of wire.

Meanwhile, as Hulk was dismantling the armored vehicle, he encountered a second wave of support. Two tanks fired at Hulk from the left and right, and a suicide squad came to distract him.

This suicide squad wore prototype kinetic energy combat suits provided by Hammer Industries. The wearer could withstand a truck crash head-on, but the Pentagon did not accept the plan because it was too expensive. Justin Hammer then shelved it, but now it has been provided to General Ross to capture the Hulk.

Having been injected with the Super Soldier Serum, Bronsky donned a kinetic combat suit. He issued a challenge to the Hulk with an RPG, then brandished a grenade launcher, officially taking on the Hulk.

High-explosive grenades, enhanced by Hammer Industries, rained down on Hulk, fueling his rage. The other suicide squad members stood in different areas, using high-explosive grenades to distract Hulk, while snipers provided support from afar with anti-materiel weapons.

"This guy is my prey!"

Bronsky shouted confidently, and after emptying his grenade launcher, he took out his sidearm and fired. He quickly approached Hulk, intending to slide past Hulk's attack while simultaneously attacking with his special knife.

But Hulk's strength and speed clearly exceeded Bronsky's expectations.

In an instant, a large hand filled Bronsky's entire field of vision.

Snapped--

In just one encounter, Bronsky's kinetic combat suit was completely destroyed.

Hulk's punch was definitely heavier than a truck at full speed. Bronsky was sent flying backward until he crashed into a tree and came to a stop.

In the distance, the two tanks and the sonic cannon poised to fire were also destroyed by Li Ai.

General Ross stood there, completely unaware of Li Ai's origins, and also astonished that Hulk's strength had improved so much.

With most of their heavy weaponry destroyed, the morale of the "Anti-Hulk Squad" was severely damaged, even without any casualties, and no one dared to challenge the two figures anymore.

"Banner?"

Only Betty, Bruce Banner's former lover, dared to walk towards the gradually calming Hulk. General Ross even tried to send soldiers to intercept them, but they were blocked by a wall of air.

"Damn it!" General Ross could only watch helplessly as Betty walked toward what he considered the most dangerous monster.

Chapter 70 The Best Master I Know (6/4, Requesting Monthly Tickets and Reading)

After Hulk saw Betty running towards him, the anger in his eyes gradually subsided, and his clenched fist slowly loosened.

With no other thoughts in her mind, Betty walked straight to Hulk and hugged him.

Looking at the woman in front of him who wouldn't hurt him, Hulk lowered his head and met Betty's gaze.

“Let’s go together,” Betty said softly.

Upon hearing this, Hulk gently picked up Betty, protected her, then slightly braced his legs before leaping out of General Ross's sight.

At this moment, Li Ai glanced back at the battlefield. Because the terrain was wide, the buildings were not damaged much, and most of the people had only minor scratches. As for the military equipment that Hulk had smashed... repairing these things would probably become an obstacle to future operations, so Li Ai chased after the direction in which Hulk disappeared.

Only General Ross needs to clean up a mess.

The kinetic suit saved Bronsky's life, and at the same time, his obsession with the Hulk deepened, but he was somewhat different from General Ross.

General Ross controls the Hulk, while Bronsky wants to become the Hulk and craves the same power.

Bronsky walked up to General Ross and poured out his heart.

"Sir, ordinary weapons can't hurt that green monster at all. We need to have power that is stronger than it."

"Tell me your thoughts," General Ross said helplessly.

“We can replicate the experiment that created the Hulk.” Bronsky’s words startled General Ross.

"One monster is already enough of a headache for us, do you want another one?" General Ross asked, pointing to Bronsky's chest.

"Have you been affected by the Super Soldier Serum?"

In addition to enhancing physical fitness, the Super Soldier Serum also amplifies the user's willpower.

According to Dr. Erskine, good people get better and bad people get worse.

“But only a stronger monster can deal with our target.” Blonsky’s eyes were firm as he opened his mind and stated matter-of-factly:

“We can go to Hammer and ask him to build a device that emits gamma rays, and then let me receive the power of gamma rays and become a being beyond the Hulk.”

“What if you can’t control this power?” General Ross retorted, and just as he was about to continue speaking, a phone call came in.

“General Ross, I saw in the backend that the Marine Corps mech’s signal has gone offline. Could you tell me its status?” It was Justin Hammer on the other end of the phone, inquiring about the Marine Corps mech’s situation.

“Not good at all. Your mech didn’t even last ten minutes,” General Ross said with a dark face.

“That’s a real shame,” Justin said casually. “I have an eight-meter experimental mech here, which is even better, but it’s not armed yet and it requires a strong enough pilot. An ordinary person would be turned into mincemeat after a couple of tries.”

“Then ship it to New York,” General Ross said, glancing at Bronsky.

“I will take care of the pilot’s problem, but that mech must be more agile and powerful.”

After General Ross hung up the phone, Bronsky gave him a hopeful look.

"Sir, you've approved my plan?"

“I won’t let you become a second monster,” General Ross said firmly. “But I can provide you with the best equipment and a larger dose of super soldier serum.”

General Ross believed he had done a good job and satisfied Bronsky's request by giving him more super-soldier serum.

“Yes, sir,” Bronsky replied, but the desire for power continued to spread and grow within him.

Seeing that Bronsky agreed, General Ross didn't say anything more, but instead took out a red cell phone and made a call.

"Get me Nick Fury, I need intelligence."

.....................

Not long after, in a quiet mountain forest.

Hulk finally stopped in front of a cave. He gently put Betty down, then knelt on the ground. His body shrank rapidly, and his green skin gradually returned to normal, but his clothes were obviously gone. He was only wearing a pair of elastic sweatpants.

"Betty, do you still have the experimental data?" Banner asked, getting up with a pained expression.

The military erased all the experimental data from the gamma pulse project, but Betty secretly made a copy, just in case.

“Don’t worry, I didn’t let Thaddeus know about the backup data.” Betty took a USB drive out of her pocket.

"Thank you for doing so much for me," Banner said gratefully, then looked towards the cave entrance and asked the figure following closely behind:

Can I consider you a friend?

“Of course.” Li Ai stood at the entrance of the cave, and with a slight thought, a surge of dark blue mist appeared, and the transformation was dispelled.

Banner and Betty looked at the unfamiliar boy in front of them and asked at the same time:

"who are you?"

“A dream agent passing by, you can also call me ZZZ.” Li Ai stretched out her arms to show the two that she had no hostility.

"Dream Agents? Has some law enforcement agency appeared in America that I don't know about?" Banner asked with a hint of wariness.

This is not to say that Banner did not remember the boy helping him before, but rather it was a stress response he had developed during his years on the run.

In fact, Banner actually had a good impression of the mysterious person who helped him get out of trouble.

Betty, however, recalled the strange dream she had a while ago. She connected the mysterious person in the dream who defeated the monster with the wind with the scene of Li Ai's battle at Culver University.
