Ai Kato: "Okay...!"
Zhou Han: "Ruan Jingyi and I are here now, we just came out of the school gate."
Shen Xi: "?"
Shen Xi: "Vice Minister, how come I didn't know about this kind of event?"
Cheng Fei: "Recently, many of our members have reported a decline in their grades and want to take extra classes, so we've decided to organize an event for everyone to improve together. Does the department head have any objections?"
Shen Xi: "No."
In the corner by the window of the classroom, the boy saw the reply, nodded in satisfaction, put down his phone, and packed his things.
"Honey, can we go on a date?" Lin Xuanqi rested her chin on her hands, her expression turning to surprise and delight.
"Go where? Don't be ridiculous." The boy frowned as he stared at her.
"Celebrating my birthday with me is a date, isn't it? Hehe." The haughty girl smiled charmingly.
"Heh my foot! A birthday is a birthday, stop trying to confuse things." The boy glared at her, picked up his shoulder bag, and stood up.
“Whatever my husband says is right.” Lin Xuanqi nodded repeatedly with an indifferent attitude, following closely behind him with her hands behind her back.
The two of them walked out of the campus.
Regardless, Cheng Fei agreed to accompany Lin Xuanqi to her birthday party. Of course, the young man did not do it voluntarily; he only agreed reluctantly out of a sense of obligation to her, based on the principle of equal exchange. This point needs to be made clear.
The two arrived at the parking lot and got into the Lamborghini.
"Honey, why are there women's things in your car? Whose are they?" Lin Xuanqi, sitting in the passenger seat, noticed an inconspicuous hair tie in the glove compartment and picked it up to examine it.
"Nagasaki Asuna, you have a problem with that?" The boy glanced at her while gripping the steering wheel, enunciating each word clearly.
"No objection." Lin Xuanqi quickly shook her head and put the things back in their original place.
"Where are you going to celebrate your birthday, Yushuiyuan or Nanwan?" the boy asked in a businesslike tone, looking at the road again.
“South Bay.” The haughty girl’s eyes flickered, and she answered quickly.
The boy didn't say anything, but turned around at the intersection and drove south on the road.
Apart from the loud engine noise, the car was completely quiet.
Lin Xuanqi casually adjusted the hem of her recently shortened school uniform skirt, revealing more of the graceful curves of her body covered by the thin black fabric. She glanced at the boy out of the corner of her eye and, finding that he didn't seem to care about her at all, she pursed her lips.
"Honey, have you found out where Shen Xi ran off to?" she asked casually.
"What's it to you?" the boy asked bluntly.
"Just asking casually, it's because I care about my husband."
"I don't need your concern, thank you."
"Oh, then I won't ask." Lin Xuanqi rolled her eyes, her reddened eyes glancing out the window.
The white supercar quickly drove onto the empty road in South Bay.
"Honey, is the first Real Tech machine going to be released soon?"
"So what if it is?"
"My husband will definitely become a celebrity by then, that's amazing."
"There's no need for any insincere flattery."
"Oh."
The air fell silent for a moment.
"Honey, I heard that Nagasaki Asuna could barely walk on the way to school today. Did you have a lot of fun yesterday?"
"Tsk, you know a lot, don't you, Lin Xuanqi?"
"They just happened to hear it from Xiaoshuang."
"Stop talking nonsense."
"Honey, I also want to be played with until I can't even walk straight."
"From this moment on, I order you to shut up."
"..."
The air inside the car fell completely silent.
The Lamborghini drove into the familiar estate and stopped in front of the palatial villa.
The two got out of the car and were immediately greeted by maids lined up on both sides of the door.
Lin Xuanqi casually handed her coat to one of them, covered her mouth, yawned lazily, and went upstairs.
Cheng Fei followed beside him, hands in his pockets.
"Honey, shall we get started?" The haughty young woman tilted her head with her hands behind her back, her tone full of interest.
"Suit yourself." The boy remained unmoved.
The two arrived at the suite on the second floor. A small but exquisite birthday cake with eight candles was already set on the table in the lobby, just like the one Shen Xi had before.
"Then let's begin." The boy sat down in the chair next to him, looking indifferent, and picked up the lighter on the table as if he was eager to complete the task.
"Hey, don't rush." Lin Xuanqi quickly stopped him, snatched the lighter, and hurried to the window to draw the curtains, plunging the room into darkness, with only the crystal chandelier overhead providing illumination.
"Alright, you can order now." The haughty girl then handed the items back to him.
The boy sighed helplessly and lit the candles one by one.
Lin Xuanqi turned off the lights at the same time, leaving only the flickering candlelight in the room.
"Go ahead and blow it." The candlelight illuminated the boy's nonchalant expression.
"Who blows out candles right away? You should sing me a birthday song first." The arrogant girl sat opposite him, a mischievous smile playing on her lips, yet also a hint of anticipation.
"I'm sorry, I'm tone-deaf and can't sing." The boy said without hesitation.
This is at least true; Shen Xi even mocked me for it back then.
"No, you have to sing." Lin Xuanqi insisted.
"My girlfriend seems to need to see me, so I'm leaving now, goodbye." The boy immediately stood up.
"Hey honey, I was wrong, I won't sing anymore, okay?" The girl hurriedly grabbed him.
"Then hurry up and make a wish, and then blow out the candles." The boy sat down again.
"Honey, can't you be a little gentler and more patient? It's my birthday!" The girl lowered her eyes and pleaded, her tone endearing and pitiful.
"I don't know what's so special about being gentle and patient. Isn't this just the same old routine?" The boy rolled his eyes.
"My husband's birthday celebration for Shen Xi isn't just a formality," Lin Xuanqi muttered, turning her face away. In the dim candlelight, her charming little face looked even more disappointed.
"How do you even know this?" the boy asked in surprise.
"I heard later that this won't work either?" The arrogant girl's gaze towards him held a hint of resentment.
The boy and she stared at each other for a moment, then he softened his tone, "Fine, so make a wish. You can't expect me to set off fireworks for you right now, can you?"
"No, not at all." Lin Xuanqi clasped her hands together, her eyes flickering. "Then shall I make a wish?"
"Maybe," the boy said, looking at her.
"My wish is... for my husband to completely forgive me, and then let me join his harem, hehe." The arrogant girl closed her eyes slightly, the corners of her mouth curving up as she muttered to herself.
The boy looked at her in silence.
Lin Xuanqi waited a moment before opening her eyes, looking at him with a strange sense of pride, "Why isn't my husband saying anything?"
"You don't even know that wishes that are spoken aloud can never be fulfilled?" The boy shrugged nonchalantly.
"How can I achieve this if I don't tell my husband?" the arrogant young woman said matter-of-factly.
"Whether you say it or not, it won't happen, thank you." The boy said expressionlessly.
"Really? Why?" Lin Xuanqi tilted her head, her charming face showing a touch of innocence.
"No reason, stop talking nonsense." The boy was getting a little impatient.
"Tch, I dare not answer." The girl gave a light, charming snort, then paused, "Then I'm going to blow out the candles."
"Keep blowing." The boy remained motionless.
The girl stood up, supported herself on the table with both hands, and took a deep breath.
When the candle was blown out, the room was plunged into darkness.
A rustling sound arose, and a familiar, graceful body suddenly pressed close to the young man.
1043. Cheng Fei is only making a deal with Lin Xuanqi. Please be aware.
In the pitch-black room, the air was so quiet you could hear a pin drop.
Cheng Fei remained seated, feeling the alluring body pressed against him in the darkness. He asked, slowly and deliberately, "Lin Xuanqi, what are you doing?"
"I didn't do anything, what did I do?" The arrogant girl's voice rang out, as if she were truly innocent.
The boy could clearly feel the girl groping around his shoulder with her small hands, as if confirming her location. Then, a slender figure, tightly wrapped in silky fabric, stepped over him, its body heat pressing down on him.
If he understood correctly, the girl was now sitting face-to-face in his lap.
In the darkness, the two could not see each other's faces, but they could sense a faint presence, very close at hand.
"Please go down, thank you." Perhaps because he couldn't see, the boy barely managed to restrain himself and pushed her down.
"No." The girl's tone became more stubborn. "Go ahead and kill me if you dare, Cheng Fei."
As soon as she finished speaking, a warm little hand climbed up the back of his neck, and a certain undulation that was no less than that of Nagasaki Asuna pressed against him, the girl holding herself firmly in his arms.
"It's my birthday, so what do you want?" the boy said to the darkness in front of him, imagining that the girl was looking into his eyes.
"I'm celebrating my birthday?" the girl continued in a matter-of-fact tone. "It suddenly got very dark, and I was scared, so I had to stay close to my husband."
"If you're afraid of the dark, you can turn on the light."
"It's so dark, how are people supposed to turn on the lights?"
"Then I'll go."
"No! I'm scared, my husband has to stay with me."
"Tsk."
A brief silence fell over the room.
"Honey, can you hug me?" The girl's tone was pleading.
"Don't dream about it." The boy said without hesitation.
"I'm really scared."
"A seventeen-year-old who's still afraid of the dark? Are you kidding me?"
"It's not that I'm afraid of the dark."
"Then what is it?"
"I'm afraid my husband won't want me anymore..." the girl whispered.
The boy was silent for a second, then said, "Lin Xuanqi, I'm warning you, don't try that on me, it won't work."
"Which one works? Husband, teach me." The girl's voice drew near, and her familiar scent wafted from her breath.
Are you going to celebrate your birthday or not?
"Anyway, cakes aren't that good."
"Then why did you bring it here?"
"We have to go through the motions, after all."
"Now that we've finished the formalities, I can head back." The boy made a gesture as if to remove her hands.
"Hey! How long have you been sitting here before you want to leave? I've only blew out a candle and haven't done anything else." The girl quickly clung to him even tighter.
