"I like boys' hands." Zhou Han's eyes flickered.

"I...I...I...I..." Miriam struggled for a long time before hurriedly picking up the wine glass and drinking it all in one gulp.

"I like eyes the most?" Nagasaki Asuna smiled.

Shen Xi remained silent for a second, then drank a cup of Want Want milk with a blank expression.

"I like eyes too," Ye Shuang said softly.

“I like the waist the most.” Cheng Fei nodded seriously.

"You like waists, right? How come I've never noticed? Tell me honestly what you like." Lin Xuanqi pinched his waist, intentionally or unintentionally thrusting out her full chest, with a half-smile.

"Xuanqi, I really love waists, especially yours, which are so slender. If you don't believe me, let me lick them tonight." The boy hugged her without hesitation.

Zhou Han blinked her round eyes at the two of them, then secretly glanced at her waist.

"Lick your head, it's disgusting, get lost!" Lin Xuanqi noticed the gazes around her, a blush appearing on her face, and pushed the boy away without any politeness.

Shen Xi took a deep breath, lowered her eyes, and her face was terrifyingly cold.

……

The games at the Corridor Research Department continued until very late.

It's worth mentioning that Nagasaki Asuna became somewhat dazed after having a few drinks.

At Cheng Fei's prompting glance, Shen Xi, looking annoyed, pulled her back to her room.

"Shen Xi actually wanted to sleep with me, does that mean my affection level has increased? Hehehe~" The sweet girl wrapped her arms around the other person's arm.

Miriam watched the two figures walk away intimately, her expression turning to one of utter despair. She tried to stifle her cries by putting her fingers in her mouth.

the other side.

Lin Xuanqi finished showering and dried herself off, then stepped out of the bathroom wrapped in a towel, her black hair still damp.

The girl's gaze fell on Cheng Fei, who was sitting against the headboard. After thinking for a moment, she walked over and looked down at him, her naturally charming face expressionless.

The boy, who was making the most of his time to enrich himself with knowledge, looked up, puzzled, "Xuanqi, what kind of expression is that?"

"Cheng Fei, I have a question for you." The girl knelt down in his arms, facing him directly, her red eyes fixed on his gaze.

"What's the problem?" The boy put down the book and put his arm around her slender waist.

"Shen Xi's words today were ambiguous. What exactly did she mean? Are you hiding something from me?" The girl frowned slightly, her expression a mixture of worry and something else.

"Xuanqi." The boy sighed helplessly, cupped her face in his hands, and gently stroked the delicate skin around her eyes with his fingertips. "Isn't this exactly the effect she wanted?"

The girl's eyes flickered, and she looked away. Then, she gritted her teeth and looked at him again. "Did you tell the truth about those questions you asked today?"

"Xuanqi, why are you suddenly so suspicious?" The boy looked at her.

The girl opened her mouth, then adopted a stern expression, "Answer my question first."

"Then I'd like to ask you if you told the truth?" The boy stared into her spirited eyes, utterly unafraid.

"What haven't I told the truth about?" the girl asked, staring back at him.

"Are you sure?" The boy pulled her closer, gazing into the depths of her pupils, but he could clearly see the scar where the whites of her eyes met. "You really have nothing to regret?"

"I..." Lin Xuanqi fell silent, making the air between the two quiet for a moment.

The girl's eyes flickered, her graceful body softened, she pulled off the bath towel and hugged the boy, pressing her face against his and her forehead together, her voice becoming softer, "Honey, I have enough."

"Why didn't you tell me?" The boy tugged at her cheek, as if he were treating his pet.

"What should I say to Shen Xi?" The usually domineering girl offered no resistance. She paused, then leaned close to his ear, her voice becoming more ingratiating, "Honey~ Can't I say it now?"

"Then tell me." The boy simply slid his palm across the table.

"The thing I regret most is that I bullied my husband back then. Now my husband can punish me however he wants, is that alright?" The girl exhaled, her voice carrying a hint of coquettishness.

"Really, any punishment is acceptable?" The boy's fingers, which were running through her thick black hair, slowly tightened.

"Really, really." The girl winced in pain, her brows trembled, and she gasped for breath, but a sickly smile curled at the corners of her mouth.

"Lin Xuanqi, you're such a shopaholic." The boy said without any politeness.

"I am, I am, husband..." The girl's mouth was slightly open, her eyes wide as she stared at the ceiling. Her lost and bewildered expression was hard to tell whether it was pain or tax evasion, and the curve of her waist became breathtaking.

In the pitch-black room next door, Ye Shuang stared at the ceiling, her eyes unblinking, listening to the faint sounds, her small hand pressed against her heart, her expression complex.

"Miss……"

The next day.

As the first rays of morning light streamed into the room, Cheng Fei opened his eyes precisely on time. He glanced at the beautiful young woman sleeping peacefully beside him, covered her flawless face with his palm, and gently stroked her long eyelashes and the corners of her rosy eyes with his fingertips.

The boy then left the room, put his hands in his pockets, and wandered into the kitchen to find food. He took some toast and milk from the refrigerator, and suddenly saw someone staring at him expressionlessly from behind.

"Teacher Shen, you really can turn invisible too?" The boy breathed a sigh of relief, looking quite serious.

"When I heard the noise, I thought there were rats in Miriam's house. When I came over, I found out there were indeed rats." The cool girl with long black hair made no attempt to hide her disgust.

"Here, have some." The boy handed her a slice of toast.

"Sorry, I don't eat things that rats have eaten." Shen Xi glanced at the toast with a corner bitten off.

"I'm a mouse and you're a female mouse, why shouldn't I eat you?" the boy argued vehemently.

"Nonsense! Get this straight, you're the only rat here." The girl was annoyed and kicked him.

"Teacher Shen, let's forget about the rat topic. I'll head back now if there's nothing else." The boy raised his hands in surrender, intending to return the way he came, lest Lin Xuanqi suddenly wake up and come looking for him.

"So eager to find that Lin guy? You really care about your fiancée." The girl stood there and sneered.

"Not at all, you've always been my fiancée, Shen Xi." The young man circled back to her and opened the milk, gulping it down like water.

"Here comes another typical daydream," the girl scoffed.

"So what exactly did Your Highness come to see me about? It's really not safe right now. If you want me to stay with you, I'll stay with you for as long as I want." The boy said while finishing his toast, keeping an eye on the corridor to avoid any unwanted people appearing.

"I just happened to hear the noise and came to see if it was a mouse," the girl said casually, turning her face away.

"Woke up so early, are you still agonizing over yesterday's Truth or Dare game?" The boy observed her pretty yet cold face.

"There's nothing to agonize over. Whether those scoundrels like the waist or some other part of the body is none of my business." The girl gritted her teeth, her tone suddenly turning annoyed.

"So you really were torn?" The boy asked in surprise, then clasped his hands together. "My favorite parts are of course Teacher Shen's wonderful little face and legs."

"Ha, fine, I'll let it slide with your fabricated nonsense." The girl narrowed her eyes slightly.

"Where is the fabrication?"

"Isn't Cheng Feiyu's favorite part of his body the feet, given his filthy and shameful aesthetic sense?" the girl delivered another blow.

"Teacher Shen, so you wanted me to say I liked your feet? You're really a pervert." The boy shuddered dramatically.

"Stop trying to confuse the issue and slander me. What I mean is that you're not telling the truth at all. You know perfectly well what part of your body you like." The girl glared at him fiercely.

"Yes, since Your Highness has said so, I admit that I walked." The boy lowered his head honestly.

Shen Xi opened her mouth, but her expression suddenly became confused, and she frowned so much that she couldn't speak.

"Teacher Shen, you wouldn't actually be thinking of saying I like breasts, would you? You spent the whole night agonizing over this next to Nana? That's so cute." The boy stroked his chin, as if he could see right through her.

"That's enough. Nobody here is going to dwell on this. I don't want to talk about this incredibly boring topic anymore." The girl abruptly turned her face away, looking annoyed.

"Okay." The boy ate his toast while watching her. When she couldn't help but glance at him out of the corner of her eye, he spoke again, "Is there anything else you'd like to say, Professor Shen?"

Shen Xi took a deep breath, raised her chin, and met his gaze with her pure, dark eyes. "Cheng Fei, tell me, what is the thing you regret the most?"

"Why are you suddenly asking this?" the boy asked curiously.

"Just asking. You don't have to answer if you don't want to." The girl tossed her hair and looked away.

The boy studied her closely, paused for a second, and then asked, "Is there a reward for answering?"

"No." The girl said coldly and without hesitation, then paused, "However, depending on the situation, I can also tell you my answer."

"Really?" The boy raised an eyebrow.

"I'll see how it goes." The girl glanced at him, her expression unreadable.

"Okay, my biggest regret is that I accidentally provoked Lin Xuanqi and caused us to break up. Are you satisfied with that answer, Shen Xi?" The young man said casually, shrugged, and continued to finish his toast.

The girl paused for a moment, then took a deep breath and looked up at him.

791. Shen Xi was very cold.

Cheng Fei observed Shen Xi's subtle expression, "What's wrong? Does it feel like you're about to confess?"

Shen Xi frowned slightly and turned her face away, her cold voice becoming barely audible halfway through, "The thing I regret most is..."

"Yes? Teacher Shen, the volume is too low, please turn it up." The boy leaned forward, getting closer to her small face.

The girl fell silent, her flat chest rising and falling slightly. She stared at the wall as if engaged in a profound internal struggle. After a moment, she raised her chin, meeting his gaze with pure, inky eyes. Her voice was deep and expressionless as she said, "The thing I regret most is..."

The sound of the door opening suddenly came, particularly noticeable in the quiet villa in the early morning.

"We'll talk about it later." The boy interrupted her in a low voice, then disappeared in a sudden breeze.

Shen Xi stared at the empty kitchen, her mouth slightly agape, frozen in place.

Lin Xuanqi walked out of the room as if nothing had happened, her gaze sweeping over the doors of the other bedrooms. She passed through the living room and arrived at the kitchen, where she found a cool girl with long, dark hair standing alone, holding a slice of toast.

"Shen Xi? Where's Cheng Fei?" Lin Xuanqi frowned slightly, looking suspicious.

"I don't know." The aloof girl said indifferently, then took a bite of the piece of toast that had been bitten off, her fair cheeks twitching slightly as she quickly walked away from her.

Lin Xuanqi watched her slender figure disappear, then curled her lip and said, "Tch."

When Lin Xuanqi stepped out the back door, she found Cheng Fei sitting under the eaves, eating breakfast and enjoying the scenery.

"Xuanqi? Why are you awake so early?" The boy asked with feigned confusion.

"What are you doing here so early in the morning?" The charming young woman stood with her hands on her hips, looking down at him, her tone neither stern nor anything else.

"Eating while enjoying the scenery, don't you think the scenery here is beautiful?" The boy gestured with a matter-of-fact expression.

Descending the wooden stairs of the villa, you'll find yourself in a swaying coconut grove. As your gaze travels forward, a pristine, crystal-clear private beach is within easy reach, as beautiful as a landscape painting by an artist.

Lin Xuanqi tilted her head and looked at him thoughtfully, then looked at the boy as if casually asking, "Do you really like the scenery here?"

"Xuanqi, you're not going to be jealous about this, are you?" The boy observed her expression with concern.

"Eat my ass." The girl rolled her eyes at him without any politeness, paused, and then said in a nonchalant tone, "I'll just buy you a house nearby as an engagement gift later."

"Huh?" The boy asked in surprise. "Are you serious?"

"Nonsense, or would I be joking with you?" the girl glared at him irritably.

"Actually, I was just saying it casually, there's no need to go to such lengths..." The boy coughed lightly.

"What, you think I, Lin Xuanqi, can't afford it? If you want to buy, I can buy a whole row." The girl interrupted him with an arrogant snort, then grabbed his arm and pulled him up. "Alright, let's go. What's so interesting about a lousy beach? You're so pathetic. Go back and sleep with me."

"Xuanqi, I suddenly think you're so beautiful." The boy gazed at her face, which exuded a subtle charm.

"Cheng Fei, you'd be happy if I bought you a villa, wouldn't you?" The girl revealed an unfriendly smile.

"Not at all, it was beautiful to begin with, but it's even more beautiful today," the boy said earnestly.

"Beautiful my foot, not as beautiful as Shen Xi." The girl pinched his waist, a half-smile on her face.

"You and she are not the same style."

"So you really think she's beautiful, right?!"

"Hiss... That's no fun, Xuanqi!"

The two walked toward the bedroom. Once the door closed, the seaside villa returned to silence in the early morning. Only by listening carefully could one catch a faint, almost imperceptible, alluring yet painful gasp in the sea breeze.

The summer camp for the Corridor Research Department continued the following day.

Cheng Fei stayed with Lin Xuanqi the whole time, while Shen Xi and Nagasaki Asuna went online in their spare time. The two seemed to be on parallel lines, with little interaction except for occasional sarcastic remarks.

The next day, Zhou Han said she had to go home, or the consequences would be severe, and Ruan Jingyi seconded her.

"That's enough for now, let's go home." Shen Xi announced without hesitation, her indifferent expression suggesting she had been impatient for a long time.

"It's finally over, Xuanqi, let's go home." Cheng Fei put his arm around the waist of the charming girl.
