Walking through the long corridor covered with wisteria, Cheng Fei climbed alone to the sixth-floor rooftop and pushed open the door to room 601.

The aloof girl with long, dark hair remained seated on the steel tube chair, engrossed in her book. Her delicate, pretty face, hidden beneath her thick hair, was expressionless. Her long, slender legs, shaped like fragile glass, were touched by the dappled sunlight streaming in from the window. Her small feet, encased in milky-white socks, were clad in spotless black uniform shoes.

"This club does not welcome unauthorized personnel. Please leave." The girl didn't even look up, her voice conveying a cold indifference that kept strangers at bay.

658. Cheng Fei did something wrong.

"Not at all, I am your loyal governor and deputy minister, Teacher Shen." Cheng Fei walked in casually and sat down next to Shen Xi.

"Where did this mentally ill person come from? I don't know them. I'll repeat myself, please leave. Our club does not receive outsiders." The aloof girl with long, dark hair frowned slightly, her face showing genuine disgust.

"Is the memory module malfunctioning? Or has the Protoss Queen's personality fully awakened?" The boy asked in surprise, moving closer to observe her.

That small face was exquisitely beautiful, from her pure, dark eyes to her delicate, pink lips. Unfortunately, her expression exuded an icy chill that sent shivers down one's spine just by looking at her.

"This is my final warning, please leave." Shen Xi sat in her original seat and stared at him, her eyes slightly narrowed as she spoke each word slowly and deliberately, as if trying to force him out with the aura of the Star Spirit Queen.

Cheng Fei approached her without fear until their eyes met, their pupils completely filled with each other's figures, and they could clearly feel each other's breath. "Little cutie, why are you unhappy again today?"

"Nonsense, talking nonsense. You said you don't know me." Shen Xi frowned, her eyes fixed on the boy who was so close to her.

"You really don't recognize me? Then I'll just have to give you a kiss to help you regain your memory." The boy tilted his head so that their noses were apart, and got even closer to that beautiful little face, as if he could feel the smooth, cool touch of her stubbornly closed lips.

"Cheng Fei, how dare you." Shen Xi took a deep breath without moving, gritting her teeth, a faint fragrance wafting from her lips as she opened and closed them. "You heartless Cheng Feiyu, you actually have the nerve to come back and see me. If you don't want to see me, you can never see me again."

"Oh, we still know each other, Ms. Shen. You're such a good actor. I almost thought you really had amnesia." The boy stepped back from her, patting his chest and letting out an exaggerated sigh of relief.

"I'm sorry, I've been planning to erase all my memories of Cheng Feiyu lately, but I've found that there's so much of it, like junk piled up in the attic, that I haven't had a chance to do it yet." The aloof girl turned her face away, continuing to read her book with an indifferent expression.

"You clearly consider me the most important person in your life and remember every word you've ever said to me, so you don't need to be so harsh with your words." The boy shook his head and sighed.

"Trash, if you keep spouting this meaningless, disgusting nonsense, you might as well just disappear from my sight." The girl glared at him and kicked him hard under the table.

"Okay, so why is Your Highness so angry today? Before coming here, I thought it would be another day of pleasant time chatting alone." Cheng Fei clasped his hands together with a devout expression.

"You know perfectly well what heinous crimes you've committed," the girl sneered.

"You're so angry?" The boy observed her profile and stroked his chin. "The last time we met was on Friday, and I don't think I did anything wrong."

"Ha, the last time we met, Cheng Feiyu was ridiculously self-deceiving." The girl stared at the book, as if there really was some funny joke inside.

"It can't be because he met with Ye Shuang over the weekend, can it? He clearly informed Her Majesty the Empress beforehand," the young man said cautiously.

The girl let out a sneer that was hard to decipher.

"Teacher Shen, could you give me a hint? I feel like I've been behaving quite well these past two days, and I shouldn't have done anything that violates the laws of the Celestial Spirits." The boy looked at her.

"It's unrealistic for a two-faced aquatic mammal to realize how wicked its actions are; it probably still thinks it's perfectly normal. Cheng Fei, you should just leave on your own. Don't make me invite you." The girl said softly without looking up, as if disappointed.

The atmosphere in the club activity room was quiet for a moment.

"Alright, then I'll take my leave now. Goodbye, Your Majesty." The young man bowed his head and said this, then solemnly packed his things, got up, and walked towards the door.

As the sound of the doorframe being hit echoed, the aloof girl sitting in her original seat looked up and silently stared at the closed door, her expression inscrutable.

The next second, the door was suddenly pushed open again. The stiff-faced boy quickly closed the door, locked it, and returned to the girl's side. He sat down, clutched his chest, and let out a heavy sigh of relief.

"Why is Cheng Feiyu acting crazy and leaving whenever she wants?" Shen Xi frowned, looking puzzled.

"Teacher Shen, there are ghosts outside!" The boy showed a serious, terrified expression.

The girl hesitated for a moment, "The one surnamed Lin is here?"

"No, there really is a ghost, hanging from the ceiling of the stairwell, with wide eyes and a long tongue sticking out." Cheng Fei stuck out his tongue and gestured, as if he had really witnessed a hanged ghost.

The girl looked on with disgust and couldn't help but shiver. "Did Cheng Feiyu completely lose her mind after I kicked her out?"

"It's terrifying, Ms. Shen. I was afraid you'd be scared when you go out, so I rushed back to keep you company." The boy took the opportunity to pull the steel pipe chair closer to the girl, sitting right next to her. Then, as if it were a natural thing, he took out the books and materials he had collected earlier and started working again.

Shen Xi stared coldly at his focused profile, her eyes flickering. After a moment of silence, her lips twitched almost imperceptibly. She gritted her teeth and kicked him under the table, saying, "Pretentious Cheng Feiyu."

"Teacher Shen, what I said is absolutely true, why don't you believe me?" The boy looked helpless.

"Since it's true, I want to see it when we go out later." The girl raised her chin.

"Ghosts are mysterious things. Maybe I've done something wrong recently, which is why I encountered one. You definitely won't see it later," the boy said confidently.

"The only thing you're absolutely right about is that you did something wrong." The girl sneered.

"However, I still don't understand what I've done wrong. I'd like to trouble you, Master Shen, to tell my fortune. I'll offer you tiramisu as a thank you after it's done." The young man said seriously.

Shen Xi stared at him with narrowed eyes, remained silent for a moment, and then sighed with a sense of pity for his misfortune, "It's hard to understand how Cheng Feiyu could be so shameless."

"How can I be competent as Her Highness's only servant if I don't do it this way?" the young man said without a hint of guilt.

"Trash, were you online on Saturday night?" the girl kicked him again and said coldly.

"Teacher Shen, you know about this too? You had Xiao Yi monitor me?" Cheng Fei asked in confusion.

“I have no interest in doing that kind of thing. I just happened to discover that some people slipped out of the airship like rats in the gutter.” The girl glared at him.

Cheng Fei was taken aback, then thought for a moment, "Mirian told you?"

Shen Xi stared at the boy's face with a condescending disdain. "I saw it with my own eyes."

"So that's what made you angry?" the boy asked in surprise.

"Heh, so, Cheng Fei, Milian even denied it for you back then, so you don't even want to talk to me when you see me, and you even deliberately avoid me. Since that's the case, there's no need for us to continue." The girl's gaze, cold as an icicle, pierced him.

659. Shen Xi didn't expect Cheng Fei to greet her.

"So you pretended not to know me after all this time to get back at me for not greeting you when I came online?" Cheng Fei looked at Shen Xi's icy face with a doting expression. "Little cutie, you're just too cute. If I leave you alone for a moment, you start to have all sorts of wild thoughts."

"Shut up! I didn't steal anything, and I wasn't just imagining things. It's all based on your trashy behavior and a reasonable judgment." The girl got angry, kicked him, and raised her voice, "If Cheng Feiyu doesn't realize the seriousness of the problem and admit his mistakes, he might as well just die right now!"

"I was wrong. I saw Her Majesty the Empress right next to me when I logged on and left without offering any greetings. According to the laws of the Protoss, this is a heinous crime." The boy bowed his head. "I beg Her Majesty the Empress to forgive my sins with your magnanimous heart that embraces billions of dimensions."

"Trash, don't think you can get away with empty talk. You won't be forgiven until you explain your motives clearly." The girl stared at him with narrowed eyes, her cold expression like that of someone scrutinizing a serious criminal.

"Actually, I was just busy seeing Ye Shuang. I figured I'd already informed her, so there was no need to cause any trouble and upset you. I just decided to sneak out quietly." The young man's tone was sincere.

Shen Xi took a deep breath, lowered her head, pinched the bridge of her nose, and said in a tone that revealed neither joy nor anger, "That's right. Aquatic mammals that are fickle and easily bored should have lost interest and patience by now. It was my mistake to have expectations of you, Cheng Fei."

"You're exaggerating, Teacher Shen. I absolutely didn't mean that." The boy's expression turned serious.

"Ha, still trying to argue." The girl looked at me like I was a prisoner sentenced to death, without a trace of pity. "Anyway, the fact is that you saw me and I pretended not to see you. In the past, even if that Lin guy was here, he probably would have been stupid enough to come up to me and say a few words of nonsense. Cheng Fei, I have to admit that your despicableness has once again exceeded my imagination."

The boy observed her for a moment and then cautiously asked, "Teacher Shen, could it be that you were happy to see me online and were secretly hoping I would come over and say hello, but then you found that I had left without a word, so you felt neglected and were very sad?"

The girl's pure, dark eyes became empty. She stood up abruptly and packed her things, gritting her teeth as she said, "I kindly gave this Cheng Feiyu a chance to reflect on his actions, but he's still grinning like an idiot. Forget it, hoping that this heartless trash will change his attitude is less worthwhile than praying that the sun will rise in the west tomorrow. I don't want to waste any more time."

"Teacher Shen, I was wrong. Forget what I said earlier!" The boy quickly grabbed her.

"Let me go, Cheng Fei! I told you to let me go!"

"Teacher Shen, I love you!"

"What's the point of talking about love now? The facts are right in front of us!" the girl said through gritted teeth.

"It's all a misunderstanding, please let me explain!" The boy pulled her into his arms.

"Cheng Fei, what do you want now? Don't touch me!" The girl trembled violently as if she were chilled.

"Shen Xi, I requested to have a regular meeting today, so please sit still and don't move." The boy forced the girl to sit sideways in his lap.

"You have the nerve to bring up that garbage meeting that didn't even start last week? I've said it before, if you don't want to have one, you never have to!" The girl swung her bag at the boy's shoulder.

"You know I was too busy last week, can you calm down first?"

After a great deal of effort, they finally managed to stop the aloof girl from struggling.

"She can't even be left alone for two days, she's truly my princess." Cheng Fei sighed, gently patting Shen Xi's back.

"Trash, please explain yourself clearly. Don't think you can get away with just a perfunctory response." The girl kept her face buried in his neck, punched his arm, and said in a muffled voice.

"Shen Xi, I was really just worried that talking to you during Ye Shuang's date would make you angry. If you don't mind, I'll greet you next time in this situation." The boy softened his tone and brushed aside the girl's sideburns that were covering her face.

"I've explained it countless times, but you still don't understand. I never get angry for no reason. If you think I'm going to get angry, first reflect on whether you've done something wrong. Don't blame me if you're feeling guilty." The girl looked up and glared at him.

"I understand. It's all my fault. I misjudged Her Majesty the Empress with my narrow-minded thinking." The boy nodded repeatedly.

"Trash, stop with your sarcastic tone." The girl punched him again.

"Speaking of which, Teacher Shen, just as I expected." Cheng Fei suddenly smacked his lips.

"What?" Shen Xi asked suspiciously.

"Your legs are more beautiful than anyone else's." Because the girl was sitting sideways in his lap, the boy could clearly admire her slender, long, and dazzlingly white legs when he looked down.

"Disgusting!" The girl glared at the boy fiercely, making no attempt to hide her contempt and disgust. "Just how filthy is Cheng Feiyu's brain that he can be so focused on these kinds of things all the time?"

"I love you every moment, that's why I do this."

"That's enough, I can't take it anymore." The girl shivered with disgust, got out of his arms, and returned to her steel pipe chair, letting the tabletop cover her legs.

The boy continued to admire that cold yet beautiful face as if nothing had happened. After thinking for a moment, he said, "Speaking of which, Nana went to see Ye Shuang again. If it's just the two of us, why don't we just go home and have the regular meeting? Teacher Shen seems to have a lot of complaints about not having a meeting last time. I happen to have something I want to discuss with her."

Shen Xi lowered her eyes and remained silent for a moment, then said, "I don't object, but..."

"but?"

"Go buy me tiramisu first, you said it yourself." The girl stared at him expressionlessly, sitting in her original position and extending the back of her hand.

Cheng Fei was taken aback for a moment, then smiled with relief, stood up and took the cold little hand to help her to her feet. "No problem, Your Highness."

……

at the same time.

The two girls got off the bus and walked side by side into the familiar residential area.

"Nana, so why did you come to see me today?" Ye Shuang asked, her hands holding her bag, as she cast a subtle glance at the sweet girl beside her.

"Since it's inconvenient to go back home, I might as well come and ask Shuangshuang for a meal and gather information at the same time?" Nagasaki Asuna tapped her chin with her index finger, tilted her head, and smiled.

"Not convenient to go back? Didn't Cheng Fei say you and Shen Xi are living together..." The girl with pigtails lowered her head, lost in thought.

"If nothing unexpected happens, Cheng Fei and Shen Xi will be sticking together today, so I'll just avoid them, okay?" Nagasaki Asuna said casually.

"Stuck...together?" Ye Shuang's pupils contracted, revealing a look of utter horror.

"It's not that exaggerated, it's just a regular way of exchanging feelings."

"Exchange...feelings?" Ye Shuang didn't have the same ease as Nagasaki Asuna's face.

"That's right, Shuangshuang will find out later." Nagasaki Asuna's eyes flickered, her smile turning teasing. "So, how did Shuangshuang's date with Cheng Fei go this weekend? Did they kiss? Did they do it?"

"Nana, don't talk nonsense!" The obedient girl's expression turned unnatural in a second.

……

660. Shen Xi sees through Cheng Fei

As the two left the club activity room and entered the stairwell, Shen Xi glanced at the ceiling without making a sound.

……

Cheng Fei bought tiramisu at the school gate, handed it to the aloof girl in the passenger seat, and drove his Panamera back to Guang'an Street.

"It's so great that I don't have to work overtime to interview employees," the young man exclaimed after getting off the bus.

"A company game you like." Shen Xi sneered, handing the boy the half-eaten tiramisu in her hand.

"Teacher Shen, it's just that I was too busy last week that I didn't call you for the regular meeting. I absolutely didn't mean I didn't want to. Please don't hold it against me." The boy scooped up a spoonful of silky and delicate dessert, his gaze sweeping over the girl's artistic legs as he ate.

"So you mentioned it specifically to make excuses." The girl keenly noticed his gaze and glared at him.

"There's no excuse, I'm just telling the truth, Your Majesty," the boy said innocently.

Shen Xi sneered at this, remaining noncommittal.
