"They were all borrowed." The girl tossed her hair.
"You're the legendary Face-Face Fruit user?" Cheng Fei asked in surprise. "May I ask what your father does for a living?"
"It's none of your business," the girl said coldly.
"Okay, did you borrow the spirit box?"
"What is it for?" the girl asked, frowning.
"A device that uses radio frequency, electrodynamics, electromagnetic fields, and vibration waves to transmit messages and communicate with supernatural entities." Cheng Fei said seriously.
Shen Xi pondered for a second, puzzled, "Isn't this a radio?"
"A psychic box is a psychic box, and a radio is a radio. If you don't understand, don't talk nonsense. Really, there are some mysterious things in this world that humans cannot understand. People should know how to respect nature and the unknown. Thank you."
Cheng Fei's confident, lecturing manner startled the girl.
Nagasaki Asuna stood to the side, smiling without saying a word.
"So stupid it's nonsensical." Shen Xi came to her senses and moved away from him with disdain.
After everything was packed up, the group got into the car. Their last stop was to pick up Ye Shuang.
"Senior, would you like some tiger-skin cake?" Cheng Fei distributed the food he had bought from the bakery.
"Junior, I want some!" Miriam exclaimed, her eyes sparkling.
Shen Xi received tiramisu, while Nagasaki Asuna received a box of matcha rolls.
"Is Cheng Fei calling me a 'green tea bitch'?"
I received a message from the tea ceremony teacher on WeChat.
"That's not true."
After Cheng Fei finished replying, his gaze inadvertently met hers for a moment.
"Sitting next to Shen Xi, covered in Cheng Fei's scent, is so wonderful..."
A girl with a pure and sweet appearance casually ate a matcha roll while sending this message.
Cheng Fei thought for a second and decided not to reply to her.
The van stopped at an intersection that Cheng Fei hadn't expected.
Ye Shuang dragged her suitcase over, refused Cheng Fei's offer to help, and put the suitcase in the trunk herself.
“Master Ye, so you have a home?” Cheng Fei said, looking out the window.
"Cheng Fei, what do you mean?" Ye Shuang turned her head, her smile faltering.
"I thought you were an orphan like me, which is why you worked as a bodyguard at Xuanqi's house. Aren't all martial arts prodigies like you like that, burdened with deep-seated hatred since childhood?"
"I'm sorry, my family is all healthy, and we have no deep-seated hatred for each other, unlike you." Ye Shuang's eyelids twitched, and she forced a smile.
"I don't have any deep-seated hatred for you, so I'll visit you next time I have the chance."
"Never mind, I can't think of any reason to ask you to come to my house."
“You are my master and I am your disciple, so of course I have to pay you a visit.”
"I have nothing to do with you, don't get me wrong."
“Xuanqi, you’ve already asked you to teach me, and you agreed to it, so of course we’re master and apprentice. Why do you talk like Shen Xi?”
"Shut up." The aloof girl next to him, who was focused on enjoying her tiramisu, had no choice but to look up and glare at him.
"Agreed," Ye Shuang echoed with a smile.
"Sigh, the bullying and passive-aggressive attitude in schools." Cheng Fei shook his head and sighed.
Nagasaki Asuna suddenly offered up her matcha roll, saying, "I'm too full. How about you and Cheng Fei each have one?"
"Thank you, Miss Nagasaki!" Miriam, in the passenger seat, excitedly turned around and grabbed a piece.
Cheng Fei casually finished the last piece of matcha roll and handed the bag to Ye Shuang, saying, "By the way, Master Ye, this is yours."
Inside was a box of coconut-flavored glutinous rice balls. The snow-white texture of the pastries was strangely similar to the white over-the-knee socks that tightly wrapped around the girl's straight legs.
"Thank you, though I'm not hungry." Ye Shuang accepted the snack indifferently, unaware of the connection between the pastry and her attire.
……
As dusk fell, the van arrived at a yacht marina in South Bay.
A futuristic, all-silver-white shuttle-shaped yacht is moored here, with the British Union Jack fluttering in the wind.
"Heh heh, everyone, look, this is the Miriam!" The blonde, blue-eyed girl stood by the ship's railing, waving her arms like a penguin.
"It's really big," Nagasaki Asuna exclaimed, tilting her head back.
Along the way, there were yachts of all sizes moored, but none could compare to the Miriam; there weren't many even half its size.
"Just hearing that it's over fifty meters long doesn't really feel real; I never imagined it would be this big." Cheng Fei shaded his eyes with his hand. "It feels like half the length of a football field."
“It’s actually longer than half a standard football field!” Miriam puffed out her flat chest.
"So all that bragging before, you didn't even know what it was like yourself," Shen Xi said sarcastically from the side.
“Teacher Shen, even so, it doesn’t negate the fact that I fought for this.” Cheng Fei said, looking to the other side, “Senior, I’ve always had a question: Don’t you foreigners feel ashamed to name things after yourselves?”
"Shame? How could that be? It should be a happy thing." Miriam looked puzzled.
"By the way, are there any other sailors on such a big ship?" Nagasaki Asuna tilted her head.
“Miss Nagasaki, don’t worry. The Miriam is one of the most automated exploration yachts in the world. With Sebastian and my junior helping out, there won’t be any extra men on board.” Miriam patted her flat chest. “By the way, Sebastian can be ignored, so feel free to wear your swimsuits after we set sail.”
Although she spoke in a seemingly casual tone, Cheng Fei still noticed that the ridiculous British lesbian secretly wiped the corner of her mouth after finishing her sentence.
……
183. If we have the chance, we can sleep together.
"Eh, does that mean 'pretend it doesn't exist'?" Nagasaki Asuna asked curiously.
“Sebastian basically only stays in the cockpit and captain’s cabin. Also, for some reason, the person he should really care about is probably his junior.” Miriam’s expression suddenly turned a little malicious.
"What do I need to care about?" Cheng Fei asked in surprise.
“Junior, I forgot to tell you before, Sebastian was attracted to men when he was young.” Miriam said with a comical expression.
"?" Cheng Fei was stunned.
Asuna Nagasaki blinked in surprise.
"That's all in the past. Now, my only mission is to serve you all as your butler," the elderly gentleman said with a bow as he passed by carrying luggage, before walking away with steady steps.
Under the subtle gazes of the girls, Cheng Fei fell into a long silence.
Are there no normal people left in Britain?
"Never mind, I'll go move my things instead." The boy had mixed feelings.
Before sunset, the group finished preparing for their departure.
"Sebastian, I command the Miriam to set sail!" Miriam waved her hand from the cockpit.
"Understood." The elderly gentleman at the helm replied calmly.
The group looked out the window.
The massive, silver-white yacht slowly sailed out of its berth, while the smaller yachts nearby could only tremble in the moving shadows.
"Let's go, I'll show everyone around the Miriam. Junior, please help carry the luggage to the cabin." Miriam waved excitedly.
……
After roughly completing the room and luggage allocation, Cheng Fei moved the host computer with the graphics card removed earlier to the most spacious reception area and installed it, allowing the model to continue training.
Nagasaki Asuna logged into the corridor using her account and, with the help of a capture card and a script she wrote, automatically captured game footage and input it into the existing model to obtain the corridor's real-time coordinates.
This coordinate was synchronized to the cockpit to provide Sebastian with the heading, and the old gentleman did not ask any further questions about it.
"Got it. The coordinates show the corridor is in the South Pacific. Perfect timing to optimize the model while we're catching up." Cheng Fei typed Enter, stretched, and said, "Professor Shen, don't you think it lacks realism?"
"Which aspect are you referring to?" Shen Xi was focused on what she was doing and didn't look up.
She and Asuna Nagasaki are manually calculating coordinates to process the data for model training.
"We were living our normal school life just fine, and then someone actually did something so outlandish as to run off to find a game world." Cheng Fei looked out the window; the sea was terrifyingly dark as night fell.
"As expected, aquatic mammals lack the ability to cope with sudden changes in their worldview. They still can't accept the fact that the corridor actually exists after all this time." Shen Xi said expressionlessly.
"Nana, can you accept this?" Cheng Fei looked to the other side.
"Eh, it doesn't matter to me? Just treat it as a vacation." Nagasaki Asuna looked up and blinked.
"You're the wisest one." Cheng Fei gave a thumbs up and pushed the keyboard aside to join the two of them in their work.
"They really are birds of a feather." Shen Xi sneered.
“Teacher Shen, wake up. If you insist on saying that the three of us are birds of a feather, how about we sleep together sometime when we have the chance, just as a team-building activity to strengthen our bond?” Cheng Fei said in a nonchalant tone.
"What nonsense are you spouting? Your delusions are so despicable." Shen Xi slammed down her pen, her brows furrowed, and looked at the boy warily.
"Teacher Shen, don't get agitated. I was just joking."
"Well, actually I don't mind," Nagasaki Asuna said casually, "if it's just a normal sleep."
Shen Xi seemed to realize something, and her eyes suddenly turned cold and piercing.
"Nana, you really know how to joke." Cheng Fei's expression changed.
“I’m not kidding.” Nagasaki Asuna rested her chin on one hand, her eyes sparkling. “Of course, that is, provided that Shen Xi sleeps in the middle.”
"That's more like it." Cheng Fei breathed a sigh of relief.
"Don't drag me into these ridiculous jokes. I can't understand people like you who have no limits when it comes to being shameless." Shen Xi said with a look of disgust.
"It seems that the coping abilities of terrestrial mammals are not so great after all. Teacher Shen, you should be happy to have such proactive and enthusiastic people like me and Nana accompanying you." Cheng Fei said with a sigh.
"I'm sorry, I just feel uncomfortable. Cheng Fei, what exactly do you want?"
"Teacher Shen, you're too serious. I was just casually bringing up a topic for fun. Don't make it sound like I have ulterior motives towards you."
"I don't think it's just similar, it is."
"The way you're staring at your cheating husband is too much. Although Nana and I are friends, I like you. I've said this to Nana several times already. What else do you have to worry about?"
"Shut up, take back your disgusting delusions."
"Alright, since you're my princess."
"It's fine to talk about your unspeakable fantasies in private, but don't bring them to outsiders."
"So we can talk about this in private now? Teacher Shen, you're getting cuter and cuter."
"Cheng Fei, I can't stand you anymore."
"I was wrong, Teacher Shen. Let's get back to business."
"..."
"Actually, I still want to say that Nana isn't an outsider, she won't mind this kind of joke, right, Nana?"
"Cheng Fei!"
"I was wrong, I was wrong, I'll definitely shut up this time."
Asuna Nagasaki rested her chin on her hand, watching the two bicker with great interest.
A moment later, Ye Shuang and Milian arrived at the reception area, ending the three-person conversation.
Since Sebastian was in charge of navigating and there were no sailors or waiters on board, the group of people (Cheng Fei and Nagasaki Asuna) had to take care of their own meals for the next period of time.
For their first dinner on the ship, the group ate KFC that they had packed before boarding. Ye Shuang reheated it in the oven, probably wanting to do something within her power.
Cheng Fei, biting into a chicken burger, sat down in front of the twin-tailed girl who was sitting alone next to him. "Chef Ye, I didn't expect you to be such a good cook. The heat was just right, even better than freshly baked." The boy's tone was exaggerated.
"Cheng Fei, do you only feel happy when I beat you up?" The girl with pigtails smiled with a mixture of annoyance and helplessness.
"I'm sorry, I'm not very good at talking, I just wanted to chat with you more." The boy said sincerely.
