In the cool air, the boy and girl could clearly feel each other's body temperature.

After a brief yet seemingly endless ten seconds of silence, the boy's calf was struck again by the girl with the icy expression on her face, her voice filled with anger.

Shen Xi crossed her arms over her chest, quickly creating distance between herself and him. She stared at him with the eyes of someone looking at a death row inmate, gritting her teeth as she said, "Cheng Fei, you are completely beyond redemption. I thought you had a shred of reason to control your beastly desires, but it was foolish to have any expectations of you. I'll say it one last time: if you attack me without permission again, I will never forgive you."

The boy grimaced and didn't answer, as if the attack had really hurt him badly.

"Enough with the clumsy acting; you're not in any pain at all." Shen Xi narrowed her eyes.

"Oh? Teacher Shen, so you could tell." Cheng Fei immediately changed his tune. "I thought I was doing a pretty good job of pretending."

"I'm not as stupid as that guy surnamed Lin," Shen Xi said coldly.

"You've misunderstood. It really hurt when she pinched my waist." Cheng Fei looked scared.

"Then you deserve it," Shen Xi said sarcastically.

"Alright, that's enough fun, let's go, Teacher Shen." Cheng Fei shook his head, picked up his suitcase again, and came to the girl's side.

“…” Shen Xi glanced at him, but remained silent.

The boy and girl returned to walking side by side.

"Teacher Shen, from now on, no matter what happens, I will be with you, really," the boy suddenly said.

"Please stay away from me. I don't need someone who's always plotting against me," the girl said warily.

"Teacher Shen, do you really have to express your liking in this way?"

……

175. Weekly hugs are reasonable.

"That's enough. Only a vulgar and despicable beast like you would think that this is a sign of affection," Shen Xi sneered.

"Teacher Shen, there are many ways to show affection, such as giving gifts, feeding people, or saying sweet words. Holding hands and hugging are all normal behaviors in a relationship, right?" Cheng Fei shrugged, carrying his suitcase.

"Don't get one thing wrong, nobody here is dating you."

"Teacher Shen, you are too stubborn, although I have said that I like your stubbornness."

"Shut up." The girl glared at him irritably.

"It seems like it's been a while since I confessed to you, Shen Xi, I like you." Cheng Fei said seriously.

"Shut up."

"Shen Xi, I like you so much."

"That's enough," the girl said, annoyed.

“Shen Xi, I want to be your—” Cheng Fei suddenly stopped speaking.

"?" The girl stared at him with an indescribable look of confusion and unease.

Cheng Fei looked at her nonchalantly, "Looking forward to it?"

"Unless I'm insane." The girl turned her face away.

“You are my princess, and I am already protecting you, so there’s no need for that last sentence.” The boy’s expression was nonchalant.

"The so-called protection is just endless and escalating harassment. I can't imagine what the word 'princess' means in the language of aquatic mammals. It's utterly disgusting and horrifying," Shen Xi said, rubbing her arm with her palm as if she felt a chill.

"Professor Shen, as the world's most outstanding aquatic mammalian, you don't even know this?" Cheng Fei asked in surprise. "Of course, it means the opposite sex that one is most fond of."

"Absurd as expected." The girl fearfully pulled away.

"Teacher Shen, I want to discuss something with you, something serious." Cheng Fei changed the subject.

Shen Xi narrowed her eyes, covered her chest with her hands, and showed strong vigilance on her face. She quickly widened the distance between them to the width of the entire sidewalk.

"Teacher Shen, you're exaggerating. I was carrying something in my hand; there was no way I could have attacked you," Cheng Fei said helplessly.

"Who knows what outrageous things you might do next?" Shen Xi said from afar.

Cheng Fei took the initiative to move closer to her and walked alongside her against the wall. "I just wanted to ask for your opinion. What level of physical contact do you find acceptable?"

"As expected." Shen Xi frowned, her expression full of disgust. "Get this straight, I don't want any physical contact with you unless absolutely necessary."

"Explain what 'necessary circumstances' means?" Cheng Fei asked curiously.

"Stop pretending to be crazy. You know perfectly well what's going on." The girl turned her face away.

"Like when you fainted due to low blood sugar?" Cheng Fei raised an eyebrow.

"I don't want to talk," the girl said coldly.

"Teacher Shen, if we were to say, hypothetically, have you ever read any scripts or heard of those rooms where once you go in, you can't leave without doing something? If we were to enter such a room, would you be able to accept it?" Cheng Fei observed her profile.

"You've gone to all this trouble with these filthy and vulgar fantasies. Such things don't exist in reality. Please stop talking. I find it disgusting. If you have nothing else to say, let's end this topic now." Strong resistance appeared on the girl's face.

"Okay, actually what I wanted to say was, Ms. Shen, I have a request. I hope that, barring any unforeseen circumstances, I can hug you for ten seconds every week. If there are no problems, please agree." Cheng Fei solemnly lowered his head.

"This is truly bizarre. I can't understand how bizarre your thought process must be to utter such absurd nonsense." Shen Xi's face seemed to have the words "incomprehensible" written all over it. "Please wake up. What reason do I have to agree to something that is purely to satisfy your filthy desires?"

“I want it, so you give it to me, is that not enough?” Cheng Fei tilted his head and looked at her. “It’s like you want to eat tiramisu, so I go and buy it for you, simply because I like it.”

"That's enough." The girl sneered. "Even so, please don't make such obviously inappropriate requests. If it were something normal, I might agree."

"Teacher Shen, how can a hug be considered improper? In a relationship, a ten-second hug is just commonplace, isn't it?"

"I've said it a hundred times, nobody here will associate with you."

"Even among friends, hugging once in a while is perfectly normal, isn't it? It's only for ten seconds a week. Does that mean we're not even friends?"

"I've never heard of a friend hugging someone for ten seconds without a reason." Shen Xi turned her face away.

"Okay, then let's change it to a hug, it's settled then." The boy breathed a exaggerated sigh of relief.

“I didn’t agree.” Shen Xi glared at him.

"Teacher Shen, calm down. I promise I'll just give you a normal hug, the same as countless times before. Don't be nervous," the boy said with a reassuring look.

"Cheng Fei, I did not agree." The girl said, emphasizing each word.

"It's a deal, so please be prepared next week. You can kick me after you've hugged me, just don't get angry."

"I'm already angry," the girl said through gritted teeth, her voice cold and emphasized.

"Teacher Shen, you are so cute."

"Cheng Fei!"

Is there anything I can help you with?

"They're blatantly ignoring my opinions again. It's ridiculous. They say they like it when they're like this? It's blatant crime." The girl's teeth were practically ground to powder.

"Teacher Shen, slow down. Aren't your legs sore from walking so fast?"

"Shut up."

Shen Xi, head down and annoyed, quickened her pace, her slender legs encased in black over-the-knee socks moving swiftly, while the boy carrying the heavy suitcase lagged behind.

Just then, a taxi leaving the campus came from behind, and Cheng Fei promptly put down his things and waved to stop the car.

"Teacher Shen, come back quickly, there's a car here." Cheng Fei called out to the aloof girl who had already left some distance behind.

Upon hearing this, Shen Xi turned around, stood there silently for a few seconds, then quickly walked back, ignoring Cheng Fei who opened the back door and gestured for her to enter. She opened the passenger door herself and got in, her pretty face as cold as ice.

Cheng Fei scratched his head and had no choice but to sit down alone in the back seat. "Master, go to Guang'an Street."

Then, she reminded the girl in the passenger seat, "Ms. Shen, don't forget to fasten your seatbelt."

Shen Xi silently pulled on her seatbelt and fastened it.

……

They walked in silence until they returned to Guang'an Street, where Cheng Fei carried the gravimeter to Shen Xi's house.

"Teacher Shen, it's lunchtime. Shall we go have lunch together?"

"Please leave. I don't want to see you right now," the girl said coldly.

"Are you really angry?" Cheng Fei put his hands in his pockets and bent down to observe her displeased profile.

"Should I be happy?" The girl turned her head and sneered.

"Can you calm down on your own? Do you want me to stay and comfort you?" the boy asked seriously.

"Please leave." Shen Xi said, enunciating each word clearly.

Cheng Fei raised his hands in surrender, "So, are you still going shopping later?"

The group planned to set sail tonight. Although Miriam's ship had prepared necessary supplies, Nagasaki Asuna suggested that they go and buy some snacks in the afternoon to take with the yacht.

……

"Anyway, I don't really want to buy anything." Shen Xi said indifferently.

"Okay, see you later." Cheng Fei said, then turned and left.

Hearing the door close, the girl glanced expressionlessly toward the entrance for a moment before silently going to her room to pack her luggage.

Cheng Fei went downstairs and took out his phone to make a call.

The connection was made very quickly.

"Cheng Fei?" came the girl's puzzled voice from the other end.

"Nana, have you had lunch yet?"

"I was just about to do it, what's wrong?"

"Stop doing it."

"Huh?"

"Let's go out and eat together, then we'll go shopping."

"Okay~" After a moment of silence, a girl's happy and soft voice responded.

……

Cheng Fei and Nagasaki Asuna met in a place far from their usual activity area.

As soon as the bright, short, coffee-colored hair of the girl got out of the car, she rushed into the boy's arms.

His blissful infatuation drew the attention of passersby, who wondered who was worthy of such a beautiful girlfriend. Upon seeing the young man, they all turned their gazes away.

It's alright, this guy is even more handsome than a young girl.

"Nana, could you please tone it down a bit?" Cheng Fei pulled Nagasaki Asuna off him.

"But yesterday's performance was disgusting. I can finally smell Cheng Fei's scent again." Nagasaki Asuna buried her face in his chest again and rubbed against him forcefully.

"Are you a dog? Smell me." Cheng Fei's lips twitched.

"If Cheng Fei wants me to be a dog, then I'll be a dog; if he wants me to be a cat, then I'll be a cat," the girl said in a muffled voice.

“I hope you are an independent person.” The boy pressed down on her shoulder and pulled away from her.

"Didn't Cheng Fei go out with Shen Xi?" Nagasaki Asuna completely ignored his words.

"Just got back."

"Why didn't you eat together?"

"I'm angry."

"Why?" the girl tilted her head, curious.

“I told her that I would hug her once a week from now on.”

"I also want to be hugged by Cheng Fei once a week." Nagasaki Asuna tried to get into the boy's arms, but was stopped by his shoulders.
