"Two supreme deities! Just tell me, is that okay or not!"

"Fine, [Leytanian profanity], take it!"

"okay!"

Chapter 289: SCP-001 "A Record"

Watching Scranton put Frost into his suitcase, Yarman slowly reached out his hand. "Give it to me!"

"what?"

“Two supreme deities, you’re not trying to renege on your debt, are you?” Yarman stared at Scranton across from him with hostility, and said in a low voice, “Hurry up and give it to me, I have something to say.”

Scranton waved his hand casually and said with a smile, "How could that be? Don't worry, I'll send it to you as soon as I've finished dealing with things here. By the way, do you have anything... never mind, I'll just pick two for you."

Looking at Scranton in front of him, Yarman casually waved his hand, "Alright, you can handle this, but there's one condition: I need a world travel ticket from your world."

Scranton nodded, casually took out a travel ticket from his pocket and tossed it into his hand. "Within a week of the chat group time, I will definitely send two Supreme Gods to your world. Otherwise, you can just tear up the travel ticket and come to my world to grab two of them to take back."

Taking the time travel ticket, Yarman carefully put it into his pocket. He looked at Scranton across from him, raised his finger and pointed to the ruins that were almost completely flattened in front of him, "This is where Linard died. See if you can find any trace of him. I didn't find any."

“Alright, I’ll do it.” Scranton nodded seriously. He opened the briefcase in his hand, took out a laptop, and after a classic startup sound, the computer turned on successfully. On the desktop, apart from the recycle bin, there was only a document file and nothing else.

Looking at the bare desktop, Yarman leaned forward curiously, bent down and looked at him, saying, "Is this computer one of your collectibles?"

“Yes and no.” Scranton skillfully opened the document file and said as he entered the password, “This laptop is just an ordinary computer, nothing special. The key is this text document. This is the real collectible. The laptop is just its medium.”

With a gentle click of the "OK" button, Scranton looked at the document that was now ready for editing, then turned to Yarman, "Have you heard of the SCP-001 'A Record' collectible?"

Upon hearing the name, Yarman slowly said, "This name... sounds familiar. Isn't it the document that created a supreme deity belonging to your Foundation? Can this thing be used in this world?"

"The achievement belongs to Mary Nakayama. As for whether it's usable, since the computer didn't explode immediately after being brought over, it means the document is compatible with this world." Scranton began editing the blank document in front of him, typing the line "Resurrect Linard, restore the city destroyed by the frost."

"The moment to witness a miracle has arrived!" Scranton said triumphantly, then clicked the "Save" button. Looking at the buffer ring that appeared on the screen, he casually put down the computer and stood up from the ground.

He patted his butt and looked at the curious Yarman with a smile, "In my world, this thing is like a history book of destiny, possessing the highest power and authority."

"So you managed to bring it out so easily? Didn't the O5 Council give you any trouble?"

“Well… ever since Mary Nakayama achieved supreme divinity through this, the Foundation has completely locked up the original of this thing. What I brought out was just a replica.” Scranton pointed to the computer that was starting to smoke not far away. “You see, once the buffering is complete, the computer will automatically break down.”

"...Can this thing work on the supreme deity of your world?" Yarman turned to look at him, asking cautiously, "For example, if it says on it, um... the Crimson King is dead, and then you click save, will the real Crimson King really die?"

“This…” Scranton was caught off guard. He stood there, scratching his head somewhat bewildered. After thinking for a long time, he shook his head helplessly and said apologetically, “We haven’t tried it…”

After listening, Yarman nodded, then asked, "Could it erase a star system?"

"Um... I'm sorry, we haven't tried that."

"Could it create a completely new universe?"

"Well...maybe."

Have you ever tried using it to rewrite the underlying logic of the world?

"No...".

"Okay, what about ruler-level beings? Can they be killed off?"

“We did try something similar once, and the result was successful preservation, but the test subject died.” Scranton looked at Yarman with surprise; he had finally answered the question.

Looking at the surprised Scranton across from him, Yarman remained silent for a long time before nodding seriously, "I understand. It seems the Foundation is keeping a tight grip on this thing. You won't be able to use it more than a few times."

"That's absolutely true."

Looking at the computer across from him, which was practically burning up, Yarman casually asked, "So, what's your status in the Foundation now? Are they willing to listen to you? Do you have enough authority?"

Upon hearing this question, Scranton fell silent. His life at the Foundation wasn't particularly good. Although he was the administrator of the entire world, few people in that world listened to him. While the Foundation helped him, it also kept a close watch on him and didn't trust him.

He is now at the foundation as a researcher, a research subject, or, in other words, a collector.

Other organizations on his home planet either ignored him or wanted to kill him as soon as possible. As for the supreme deities in the universe, they were even more difficult to meet, let alone talk to or cooperate with. So far, the only one he had met was Mary Nakayama.

Seeing Scranton's pale face, Yarman nodded silently and patted him on the shoulder. "I understand, but my personal advice is to find another way out. Don't put all your eggs in one basket." Looking at his silence, he shook his head with a hint of pity. The Foundation is truly foolish!

“Since they don’t want you to come, why take on the responsibility?” Yarman advised him. “Be a little lazy, don’t be so diligent, think more about yourself, and do what you’re supposed to do.”

Scranton nodded silently, standing to the side staring at the smoking computer without saying a word. Seeing this, Yarman slowly walked to the side and began to play with the soul crystal in his hand.

"Beep, saved successfully!"

As a mechanical female voice rang out, a mysterious wave swept across the entire world, and a huge city suddenly rose from the ground. At the top of the spire of the city's main base, a tall figure stood atop it.

Looking at the city that had suddenly appeared beneath his feet, Yarman glanced at the computer that had begun to spew fire not far away. He turned to Scranton beside him and gave him a thumbs up. "Your world's collection is indeed unique."

Scranton closed his suitcase without a word, walked up to Yarman, and said sincerely, "What happened a few years ago was dishonest. I'm sorry!"

Looking at Scranton apologizing to him, Yarman remained silent for a moment, then turned to the side and said, "A young, great star as an apology is enough. Let's leave it at that."

"I'd like to come to Terra in a few days and have a chat with you, is that alright?"

Yarman silently took out a travel ticket and threw it into his hand. "You are a supreme deity. If you want to come to my world, do you think I can stop you? Come if you want."

After saying that, Yarman casually opened a portal and returned to Terra, leaving the rest to Scranton.

Watching Yarman leave, Scranton sighed deeply.

He regretted it.

Chapter 290: Terra's Super Warriors

Terra, Dreamland, Emperor of Life.

"Resolved so quickly?" Vegapunk put down the report in his hand and looked at Yarman, who had appeared in the laboratory. "How is it? Did you manage to save your old flame?"

“She wasn’t there at all. I was tricked by the people of the Wizarding World.” Yarman shook his head and pulled up a chair to sit down. “The people of the Wizarding World collected her aura and then used Linard to send me that letter, trying to lure me in to kill her.”

"And then, unexpectedly, you managed to lure in an Outer God, only to have them all turn the tables and kill you?" Vegapunk picked up the conversation, casually tossing the report aside and looking at Yarman not far away. "So, did you encounter an Outer God-level wizard?"

“We encountered them. Their Outer God level isn’t called Outer God, it’s called Great Sage,” Yarman said calmly. He took out the damaged Terra creature from his pocket and casually tossed it aside, then took out the Soul Crystal and placed it aside as well. “Luckily I brought these two things with me this time, otherwise we would have been in big trouble.”

Hearing this, Vegapunk raised an eyebrow in surprise and quickly asked, "Are you sure you'll be killed if you don't bring these two things? That can't be right!"

“When I said ‘crashed,’ I meant the other side got away!” Yarman said irritably, patting the Terran creature on the table with several large holes in it. “Look, these holes are the work of that Great Sage, the kind that can’t heal itself at all. I’ll have to fix them later.”

Vegapunk frowned as he looked at the Terra creatures taken from the junkyard. To be able to do this to the book, the powerful figures in the Wizarding World were indeed quite skilled.

"What about the Soul Crystal? Did you use it too?"

"Of course I used it. If I hadn't used this thing, that guy would have run away long ago." Yarman pointed to the slightly dim soul crystal, his tone tinged with relief. "You have no idea, that guy's trump card was actually a world. In the end, he directly ignited the entire world to attack me!"

As he spoke, Yarman pointed to the Terran creature beside him, "The hole in here was pierced by his move. Luckily, I brought the Soul Crystal, otherwise I might not have been able to suppress him!"

After hearing all this, Vegapunk nodded seriously and slowly stretched out his hand. "Where are they?"

"who?"

"Where's that great sage you captured? Let me see him." Vegapunk looked at him expectantly; it was the first time he had ever seen an Outer God-level powerhouse other than Yarman!

Upon hearing this, Yarman shrugged. "Well... I sold it to someone else."

"...You sold it? What did you get in exchange for?"

“Two supreme deities, that is, Outer God-level powerhouses from the world of Scranton.” Yarman said, looking at Vegapunk. He shrugged and said, “He will send them to me within a week.”

“I see, that works then.” Vegapunk nodded, then placed the report in his hand in front of Yarman. “Take a look, this is the data we’ve compiled on the super soldiers.”

"Hmm, let me see." Yarman took the report and began to read it carefully.

At this moment, Vegapunk walked up to him and said, "Um... could you resurrect people who died in Terra? Like some historical figures, for example."

“Well… it depends on how they died.” Yarman turned to Vegapunk. “If they were killed by other Outer Gods, then there’s nothing I can do. Otherwise, it’s fine… But to be honest, Mo is more familiar with this business; she manages the River of Time.”

Yarman looked at him and asked, "Do you want to resurrect some scientists to help out in our lab?"

"That's true, I'm too tired to do it all by myself."

“Terra’s archives are open to you. Make a list of the people you want, sign it for me, and then give it to Mostima,” Yarman said after thinking for a moment.

Vegapunk immediately took out a list from his pocket. He had been planning this for a long time, and the list was already prepared. The people on it were all carefully selected by him.

Looking at the list that was immediately placed in front of him, Yarman was stunned for a moment. He picked up a ballpoint pen and asked while signing, "How long have you been preparing for this?"

"Actually, it wasn't particularly long, just over a month."

"Hmm...Alright, take it to Mostima!" After signing and stamping it, Yarman returned the list to Vegapunk. "Then I'll have more free time from now on."

Watching Vegapunk leave, Yarman picked up the report and began to read it carefully.

"Super Soldier Prototype Test Results, let me see... Single-arm strength 36.7 tons, knee-bending jump 6.7 meters, normal speed 25.7 meters per second, top speed 38.7 meters per second, physical strength test: can withstand bullets of up to 90,000 joules, standard intelligence range 115-123..."

After scanning through a large amount of data, Yarman's gaze lingered on the last number: "It is estimated that after mass production, the cost of producing one super soldier will be equivalent to 5783 trading points."

"This... is great!" Yarman nodded seriously. The cost-effectiveness was simply unbeatable. Producing a great warrior for only 6,000 trading points was simply divine!

Compared to the War Machines that Yarman customized in his early years, these super soldiers are naturally inferior. In fact, if the War Machines were to activate their full-power combat mode, killing these super soldiers would be as easy as mowing grass.

But compared to War Machine, Super Soldiers are incredibly cheap to produce, practically dirt cheap. The cost of manufacturing a whole platoon of Super Soldiers isn't even enough to buy a single bare War Machine.

Sitting in his chair, Yarman put down the documents in his hand, stood up, and walked slowly to the control panel. He casually opened the document on super soldier combat equipment and began to look at the files inside.

After reviewing all the documents, he frowned slightly in dissatisfaction. It was essentially a simplified version of the War Machine's equipment, removing the most formidable individual heavy firepower units, significantly weakening armor and weapon performance, and adding auxiliary artificial intelligence units.

It can be said that the only thing that satisfied Yarman about the equipment was its low price. A complete set of standard combat equipment, once mass-produced, would only cost a mere 12,000 trading points.

"Sigh, the technology is still not advanced enough!" Yarman rubbed his temples in frustration. If Terra's technology were powerful enough, it could produce more powerful equipment at the same price point.

After observing the situation, Yarman sat down in a chair, wrote his summary on a piece of paper, and carefully put the letter into an envelope. Yarman instinctively wanted to send it to Mostima.

“…Never mind, I won’t send it.” Yarman shook his head, reopened the envelope. Mostima was still figuring out how to become an Outer God; he couldn’t waste her time.

The reason Vegapunk was sent to find her was because for Mostima, it was just a matter of signing a document; once the document was signed and stamped, the inspectors would handle the rest.

Looking at the letter filled with writing, Yarman thought about finding someone else to discuss it with. After thinking it over, he realized that Mostima seemed to be the only person he could discuss this kind of issue with.

Others are either not trustworthy enough, lack ability, or both.

Yarman was caught in a dilemma. He wanted to consult someone, but there was no one he could talk to. Vegapunk was rescuing people from the River of Time, and Mostima was in seclusion.

Just as he was struggling with this decision, a letter was delivered to him.

Chapter 291: Don't look for me during this time.

Yarman paused, looking at the envelope before him. He placed it in front of him, examining the wax seal. "This is... Xiao Mo's seal? Isn't she cultivating? How come she has time to write to me?"

Yarman casually opened the envelope and began reading the contents of the letter. "Time's up. You should have finished reading the information on the Super Soldier Project by now. I know you're struggling with the Super Soldier issue right now, and no one's talking to you. I'm in the End of Time office now, come over."

After reading the short sentence in the letter, Yarman glanced at the name and date at the end and was immediately stunned. The date at the end was clearly three days ago. Mostima wrote the letter three days ago, but how did she know what would happen three days later?

Moreover, the timing was so precise; she had just finished reviewing the information and was currently grappling with this matter when her letter arrived.

"Never mind, let's go see what's going on." Yarman folded the papers beside him, carefully put them into his pocket, and casually opened a spatial portal, heading to the end of time, to Mostima's office.

Seeing Mostima sitting in a chair drinking coffee, he took the letter, walked over, pulled out the chair, placed the letter on the table, and pushed it in front of her.

"How do you (I) know I (you) am struggling with the Super Soldier Project?" ×2

"..."

"What's wrong? You seem rather quiet?" Mostima smiled as she looked at Yarman across from her. She picked up a glass of red wine and gently poured it for him. "Try it, it's a ten-year vintage."

Yarman picked up his wine glass, glanced at her with a hint of doubt, took a small sip, then put down the glass and pointed at the red wine, saying seriously, "This wine has been aged for at least thirty years! But..."

"But what?"

"The microorganisms still alive in the wine tell me that they have only been in the bottle for ten years, have not changed the bottle, have not seen any outsiders, and nothing has changed."

This result puzzled Yarman even more. He hadn't sensed the presence of time magic, and the time marked on the bottle was indeed ten years ago, so there was no possibility of it being switched.

Looking at the bewildered Yarman, Mostima smiled with satisfaction and poured him another glass of wine. "I did change the timing of this wine, but I didn't change the timing of the microorganisms inside."

Hearing her explanation, Yarman paused, then said seriously, "Have you reached this level of control over time? Or have you achieved...?"

"No, I've only stepped one foot into the Outer Gods' realm. As for when the other foot will follow, I have no idea," Mostima said modestly, but his face was full of pride.

Sitting in the chair, Yarman thought for a moment, then suddenly looked up and asked, "How about I take you back to your hometown for a visit?"

"No need, going back won't help me much," Mostima said casually. She had already found her direction, and all that was left was to accumulate experience slowly. Going to the Cthulhu world to study wouldn't be of much use.

Yarman nodded, then asked, "Is there anything I can do to help you?"

“Well… there’s something I need to tell you.” Mostima thought for a moment, then took out the Large World Ball from her pocket and placed it on the table. “It’s just that I’m going to eat this ball, and you…”

“I completely agree!” Yarman agreed without hesitation.

"Oh, then that's all." Mostima nodded and put the large world ball back into his arms.

Sitting in the chair, Yarman pointed to the document in front of him, "Have you seen this? What do you think? I feel the price is low enough, but in terms of capabilities, I'm worried it might be a bit lacking."
