Crossover: A Different Inuyasha

Her tall, slender figure was edged with a delicate golden-red glow by the light of the horizon, but it couldn't conceal the emotions surging on her face—anger that had been suppressed for decades and was finally ignited on this evening.
"What a magnificent Fighting Fang King!"
She gritted her teeth, her exquisitely beautiful features unusually losing their composure, "What a dead man who has no attachment to reality!"
"What exactly did that man take us, mother and child, for?!"
"An insignificant bonus in his extraordinary life!"
Sesshomaru silently looked at his mother, knowing that what she needed at this moment was not comfort, but simply to speak out what had been bottled up in her heart for too long, and then let the evening breeze dispel it for her.
But Lingyue Fairy's gaze fell on her son's still silent face.
Instead of calming down, the anger was like fuel being added, burning even more fiercely.
"Why did you—"
Her voice suddenly rose, her fingertips pointing directly at Sesshomaru, filled with an almost unreasonable, betrayed grievance and ferocity.
"Why don't you kill him!"
For the first time in his life, Sesshomaru felt truly overwhelmed by his mother's presence.
The Fang Blade, capable of cleaving heaven and earth, was utterly useless at this moment.
But he couldn't ignore it.
If my mother is left alone in this empty heavenly palace tonight, venting her frustrations at the sunset and the sea of clouds, I fear that by dawn this heavenly palace on the clouds will truly fall to earth.
Looking at his mother's reddened eyes, Sesshomaru could only think of one thing: only a woman can deal with a woman.
What surfaced in his mind was the Ruri Shrine where his younger siblings lived.
Having family around is better than having none.
Then Sesshomaru spoke.
"Mother."
"Ok?"
Lingyue Xianji, who was waiting for her son's reply, was still seething with anger. Like a tigress that had been provoked, she said coldly.
"Are you trying to invite me to join you in killing your dead father?!"
Sesshomaru met her gaze, paused for a moment, and then uttered the second half of his sentence.
"Going to Ruri Shrine... for drinks?"
Lingyue Fairy was stunned.
She couldn't quite figure out what Sesshomaru was thinking—but who cares!
"want!"
Lingyue Fairy raised her chin and flicked her sleeves, "Let's go now!"
She turned around and walked down the jade steps, as if afraid that if she was a step too slow, she would change her mind.
"Who wants this lousy place!"
She left those words behind without looking back.
Sesshomaru stood there, watching his mother's back fly into the sky. He lowered his eyes with a headache and followed after her.
As the sunset faded, the lights of the Ruri Shrine came on.
When Sesshomaru led Lingyue Xianji to the end of the path, Kikyo and Kaede were standing under the eaves of the main hall talking about something.
Jieluo and Changpu also stood to one side.
They turned around almost simultaneously, their gazes falling on Lingyue Xianji's mature and beautiful face, which clearly still held lingering anger. They exchanged only one glance before tacitly meeting her gaze.
"Grandma, it's dinner time, come and have some with us."
Kikyo reached out and took Senhime's arm, while Yura took hers from the other side. "Yes, Inuyasha volunteered to cook again today. We just need to enjoy our meal."
Maple and calamus led the way.
Lingyue Xianji was caught in the middle of Inuyasha's women. Before she could even ignite her anger, she was silenced by their overly natural enthusiasm. She was also confused by Feng's words, "Inuyasha can cook?"
"Never mind, it's not important."
The beautiful woman let them lead her into the hall, muttering under her breath, "Remember to serve wine, good wine!"
The paper doors inside closed, and the low table was quickly filled with cups, saucers, and bowls.
As the saying goes, one woman grumbles, two women bicker, three women make a drama, and four women get drunk.
At first, you could still hear Fairy Lingyue criticizing Douya Wang intermittently, and when she got angry, she would slap the edge of the table.
But after a few cups of plum wine...
The words accumulated over the years were gradually softened by the warm wine bubbles.
The room was filled with women, and within a few words, they quickly drifted off to another room.
From the fabric of the textiles to the style of the hair buns, from which of the newly recruited shrine maidens at the Ruri Shrine is the most clever, to which city in the Eastern Kingdom has the most bustling market.
The topic is like a small boat with its mooring ropes undone, drifting far away with the current, twisting and turning, and no one knows where it will turn next.
As the alcohol took effect, someone started humming a tune.
Then a second voice followed, and then even Lingyue Fairy Ji relaxed her original posture, leaned back on the cushion, raised her hand to clap her hands, and the anger in her eyes was washed away by the smell of alcohol and laughter.
Which dog is Douya Wang?
I don't know him!
Inside the paper door, candlelight flickered, cups cast shadows, and laughter and singing echoed in layers.
Sesshomaru sat at the end of the table, eating his meal quietly without uttering a single word. After finishing his food, he got up and left the table.
The ladies were engrossed in their conversation and no one noticed him getting up.
Sesshomaru didn't care, turned around, opened the paper door, and walked out.
The night breeze from the corridor swept over him, carrying the chill of late winter, and dissipated some of the smell of alcohol from his robes.
He walked a few steps along the corridor, turned his head, and looked through the night to the paper door that was glowing with warm light—several figures were projected onto the thin paper by the candlelight.
Some raised their glasses, some tilted their heads back, and some leaned against each other, slouching in unrestrained manners. Singing and laughter leaked out from between the gaps, completely devoid of their usual dignity.
'Women are terrifying!'
Sesshomaru's back stiffened slightly, and then he shivered.
He turned his gaze away and went to the kitchen, where he saw Inuyasha cooking.
The hot oil in the pan was sizzling slightly, and white steam rose up, carrying the aroma of scallions.
The oil sizzled and popped in the hot pan, mingling with the aroma of the stir-fried ingredients, all gushing out at once.
As the New Year approaches, most of the monsters from World One have returned to the Eastern Kingdom to prepare for a joyous and bountiful year.
"What bad luck! I came back wanting to show off my skills, but it's not even on the table yet. Next time I'll have to bring Sesshomaru along!"
Sesshomaru looked away, as if he hadn't heard anything, and turned to leave.
As I passed through Rashomon and entered the city, I casually grabbed a man named Jaken who was hunched over his desk reviewing official documents, looking drowsy as he worked.
Although the God of Justice himself doesn't handle affairs, his status is such that official documents are still delivered to his desk in Rashomon every day.
All these tasks fell to the little monster, who was overjoyed and determined to do them well.
Jaken was lifted off his chair by Sesshomaru, still clutching his pen. He groggily opened his eyes, "...Master Sesshomaru? Where are we going..."
"To tour the world."
Sesshomaru spoke succinctly, his feet never stopping. Jaken was grabbed by the collar and swayed twice in mid-air before finally regaining full consciousness.
As soon as the master let go, he quickly tucked the pen into his belt, adjusted his posture with both hands and feet, and followed him outside.
The moonlight was cold and clear. Two figures walked out of the city gate of Rashomon one after the other, and headed along the official road toward the distant mountain ridge.
By the time the banquet ended, it was already late at night.
A few flickering candles swayed on the table, cups and saucers lay scattered, and the aroma of wine lingered in the room.
Someone suggested, "How about we go for a soak in the hot springs behind the mountain?" The women looked at each other with hazy eyes, and one by one, they got up and walked towards the back mountain, leaning on each other.
The paper door was pushed open and closed again, and laughter scattered like beads all the way.
The hot spring behind the mountain is hidden deep in the bamboo forest. The night wind rustles through the bamboo tips, breaking the moon's shadow into flowing silver spots.
The spring pool is not large and is built of bluestone.
The water was shrouded in warm mist, which shimmered with a soft luster under the moonlight, like a mirror that had been steamed through.
Several women kicked off their wooden clogs and stepped into the warm stone slabs, causing the water to ripple and then recede, spreading out in concentric circles.
The warmth spread up from the soles of my feet, making the effects of the alcohol even more relaxed, and even my bones felt a little softer from being soaked in hot water.
Kikyo leaned against the edge of the pond, her head tilted back, her neck flushed a light red from the steam.
Feng sat next to her with his eyes closed, a lingering smile on his lips.
Jieluo stretched her body in the water and leaned lazily against the stone wall.
The calamus huddled in the shallowest part, its cheeks flushed crimson from the heat and the aroma of alcohol, like a newly ripened berry.
Lingyue Fairy was soaking in the middle of the hot spring. The wine made her phoenix eyes glisten with moisture, and some things that she would never do or think of on ordinary days suddenly popped into her mind.
'Tsk, Inuyasha really knows how to enjoy life. Who wouldn't be tempted by these four beauties?'
She first slowly moved two steps underwater, approaching the calamus.
The wolf girl was dipping her head and playing with the water when she was suddenly touched lightly on the waist. She shrank back as if burned and let out a soft gasp.
Fairy Lingyue chuckled.
His fingers then slid up her waistline, brushing against her back, causing Changpu to tense up completely. She dared not dodge, only blushing and muttering softly, "Mother..."
That "Mother..." was soft and sweet, with no harm whatsoever.
Jieluo laughed heartily beside her; she was never one to back down from a fight.
But the next instant, a hand slid down the water to her waist, gently pinching the edge of her ribs. The female demon's laughter faltered, turning into a series of suppressed chuckles, "Don't... tickle..."
As she spoke, she shrank back, but Lingyue Fairy took the opportunity to hook her arm and pull her closer.
Kikyo, being human, was not as ethereal as a demon, and her expression was dazed and confused.
But when his hand slid to her shoulder, her eyes widened.
Lingyue Fairy's fingers slid along her collarbone, pausing halfway down, as if admiring a delicate piece of jade.
Then she smiled and said softly, "Kikyo, you have such a beautiful frame. Inuyasha must have spoiled you rotten."
Kikyo's ears turned bright red, and she turned her head away. "Grandmother, you're drunk."
Feng chuckled softly from the other side, but before the laughter could even begin, a slender, jade-like hand reached out from the water.
Feng, who had never been treated like this before, blushed slightly. "Grandmother, I am no match for you..."
"Nonsense."
Lingyue Fairy raised her chin, her drunkenness having washed away even her last shred of dignity.
The woman whispered as her hand slid from the top of Feng's hair to the back of her neck, then along the underwater shoulder line southward.
"Look, even the eldest sister is tempted."
"Yeah~"
The water splashed up and fell back down, and the mist carrying laughter swirled and rose, softening the moonlight.
Lingyue Fairy smiled broadly in the middle, reaching out to touch the farthest Kikyo, but her foot slipped on the bluestone and was caught by Jieluo with quick eyes and hands.
The two collided, making a loud splash as they fell into the water, splashing water all over the faces of Maple and Iris beside them.
Everyone burst into laughter.
By this time, the stoves in the kitchen had already been extinguished.
Inuyasha, holding a bowl of fried rice, squatted on the porch, gazing at the rising steam from the hot springs behind the mountain and the faint sounds of laughter and chatter, and enviously drank several mouthfuls of his "happy water".
