Crossover: A Different Inuyasha
Page 52
The human cultivators behind her who harbored thoughts of demons remained silent in fear.
This is no longer a monster that can be resisted by human power; it is a true god who has stepped out of ancient mythology!
The changes weren't over yet. Sesshomaru stretched out his right hand and pulled out the Bakusaiga from his waist.
This is proof that when you awaken your spirit armor, you feel like you lack nothing and your mind is at peace!
But Inuyasha always felt that it was related to Jaken shouting "Sesshomaru, you are invincible!" which activated the underlying code.
The power of idealism, coupled with the passionate bond between master and servant, makes them invincible.
The blade was long and sharp, held tightly amidst the interplay of moonlight and demonic energy.
He simply gripped the knife as if it were an extension of his own body.
The tip of the knife hung limply at his side.
The next instant, he swung his hand down in a slash.
The glint of the blade—its shape and color are indescribable.
It overflowed from the edge of the Bakusaiga, then surged, transforming into an arc that stretched across the sky and slashed straight down into the sea.
The seawater rolled to both sides, revealing a deep, bottomless chasm. The wave walls rose high like walls, but before the water could even splash, it was crushed into white mist by the residual force of the blade's light.
The barrier was cut open, revealing its outline.
Like a crystal mirror that has been shrouded in darkness for too long, finally being struck head-on by light.
All the patterns and details were exposed under the crushing force of the shattering tooth blade energy.
The patterns spread outwards along the surface of the barrier, emitting a fine crackling sound.
The sound of ice slowly cracking under heavy pressure was compressed to the extreme and then released at the same moment.
The next second—the barrier shattered.
The barrier that the priestess Kanade used magic to protect the island's vulnerable inhabitants, employing a divine artifact as a medium, to conceal Penglai Island for hundreds of years, shattered like a glass curtain wall struck head-on by a hammer, becoming countless fleeting fragments, ultimately returning to silence and nothingness.
Verdant mountains, layered eaves, winding streams, and open valleys.
And those buildings that stretch along the mountain ridge, constructed of megaliths and sacred wood.
"Penglai Island!"
Jieluo looked around at the island that Inuyasha had mentioned several times, but didn't find it particularly remarkable.
Because all the shock was immersed in Sesshomaru's terrifying power!
"Sesshomaru, don't let them get away." Inuyasha glanced around the island, where four auras were retreating into the distance. He then looked at Fei Tian and the others who were preparing to give chase and added, "Just keep an eye on them."
"Where did this monster come from?!"
The beast Luo, with his black and white mohawk hairstyle, felt the overwhelming demonic energy leaking in after the barrier shattered. His pupils reflected the countless demons in the sky, as well as the figures slowly descending from the demonic clouds.
Sesshomaru arrived under the moonlight, his crescent-shaped armor reflecting a chilling light. With each step he took, the air between the sea and the sky seemed to sink a little deeper.
He felt like a fly, as if someone had suddenly turned the whole sky upside down in his sleep, and he was even a beat too slow to think about escaping.
"That's Sesshomaru... the eldest son of Inu no Taisho!" The fierce-looking man with crimson, wavy hair recognized the figure, and disbelief and fear appeared on his bewitching and effeminate face.
"How could someone become so strong in just over twenty years!"
"Stop talking and let's go!"
The strongest among them, with blue hair and a long ponytail, and emerald dragon claws guarding his shoulders, Long Luo had no intention of competing. Without saying a word, he turned around and sped off towards the distant sea.
The fierce demons and the beast demons followed closely behind.
Three streaks of light raced along the waves, and the demonic energy plowed out three different white furrows in the spray.
While lying on the coastline, Gangluo, with a giant turtle-like body the size of a small island, dived into the sea at a speed no less than that of flying.
The sea breeze whistled in my ears, and the waves, plowed by their eerie aura, carved parallel white furrows.
They didn't even dare to turn their heads.
Because the murderous intent, as bright as moonlight, was slowly closing in from behind, like a death scythe that was bound to fall sooner or later.
But it was too late.
A chill pressed down from behind, so cold it felt as if the entire night sky had collapsed.
Kyoro instinctively turned around, and a moonlit blade of light was reflected deep in his pupils—Sesshomaru was already less than ten feet behind him, his golden eyes filled with a cold and pure killing intent, like a snow-covered mountain peak looking down at an insignificant ant.
“Ominous Luo”.
Sesshomaru spoke, his voice chilling to the bone, "Why are you running? What are you afraid of? Where can you run to now?"
His gaze fell on the red evil fan that was tightly gripped by Xiong Luo, and his tone was mocking.
"Dare to kill my dog demon and seize his weapon? Have you been eaten by beasts?"
Where has that arrogance gone, that blatant disregard for leaving a mark on my back?
The hairs on Xiong Luo's back stood on end.
He would never forget that scene—the young dog demon with a cold expression, his back bearing burn marks from the red demon fan he had used.
But the powerful and invincible figure before him was completely different from the Sesshomaru in his memory.
"The firebird starts a prairie fire!"
Kyoro suddenly turned around, unfolded the Crimson Demon Fan in his palm, and waved it towards Sesshomaru.
Countless firebirds burst forth from between the fan ribs, each enveloped in heat hot enough to melt steel, swarming towards Sesshomaru across the sky.
"Still the same old thing, boring!"
Sesshomaru raised his hand, held Bakusaiga horizontally, and with a slight twist of his wrist, slashed out with the blade.
Wherever the blade flashed, the firebirds shattered in pieces, like candle flames being extinguished by the cold wind. The flames and fragments exploded, then were crushed by the blade's energy, turning into a sky full of crimson ash, which was then scattered by the sea breeze.
The expression on Xiongluo's face froze, his pupils still reflecting the image of the firebird being annihilated, but in the next instant, the blade of the Bakusaiga was already pressed against his throat.
He felt that icy coldness, like kissing the coldest snowflake in winter.
Then the world shattered.
Sesshomaru didn't even glance at him.
The blade pierced through Xiong Luo's neck, and demonic power burst forth from the edge, engulfing Xiong Luo's body, leaving no trace of his remains, not even a speck of dust.
Objects or flesh struck by the Bakusaiga cannot regenerate and will continue to take damage; moreover, the parts touched after being struck will continue to shatter, and the slashing effect will continue until the target is completely destroyed!
Picking up the Crimson Demon Fan at random, Sesshomaru's gaze fell on another target.
The fleeing beast Luo heard a loud bang behind him, turned around, and saw the fierce Luo turn into a shower of light.
His heart clenched. "A monster, a complete monster!"
"Your turn, you piece of trash."
Knowing that there was no way to escape, Juro suddenly stopped and turned around in mid-air when Sesshomaru flew towards him.
The cannon's muzzle was pointed at Sesshomaru, its pupils churning with a turbulent current of fear and madness.
"Don't look down on me, I'll fight you to the death!"
The demonic power poured into the cannon like boiling water, and the muzzle emitted a dazzling golden-red light, making the sea surface as bright as day.
"Die under the weapons of your own dog demons!"
At the moment when it had charged up to its limit, Beast Luo let out a roar like a trapped beast.
The cannon exploded with a deafening roar, unleashing a beam of light as thick as a giant pillar, carrying immense demonic power, which hurtled directly towards Sesshomaru.
"What weak last words."
Just before the beam of light touched him, Sesshomaru shifted slightly to the side and slid past it, his silver hair being lifted and then falling by the aftershock. A faint halo appeared on the surface of his crescent-shaped armor, without leaving even a trace of scorch marks.
In the blink of an eye, Sesshomaru was right in front of him.
The speed was so fast that there wasn't even enough time for the despair on Beast Luo's face to take shape.
The blade of the Bakusaiga gleamed with a thin line of white light under the moonlight, like a piece of cold flame that had been drawn out.
Before Beast Luo could even see the trajectory of the blade, he only felt something cold brush past his shoulder and neck—it didn't hurt, it was like being brushed against his skin by the winter wind.
Then everything started to crumble.
From the incision on the neck, fine cracks spread outwards at a visible speed, like ice cracking under heavy pressure, but a million times faster.
In a matter of breaths, the beast Luo's arms, chest, and legs shattered into countless tiny fragments of light, which were then swept away by the sea breeze and completely dissipated.
"Damn it, you died so quickly!"
Long Luo's teeth were clenched so tightly they were grinding.
He had only traveled a dozen miles when the two auras behind him vanished one after another, forcing him to stop and slide dozens of feet across the sea—he knew he couldn't escape.
Sesshomaru's killing intent chased after him like a cat chasing a mouse, and was as inevitable as the rising moon illuminating the world; no one could escape it.
Long Luo stared at the figure flying closer in the moonlight, his face a mixture of frustration, resentment, and anger.
The Azure Dragon Claw shoulder guards glowed with a deep, eerie blue light as they were infused with demonic power, accompanied by a low, guttural voice.
"If my power weren't sealed within the jade box... why would I fear you?!"
His tone sounded forceful, but it concealed a superficiality that even he himself knew.
Taking advantage of the manifestation of Hourai Island, they launched a sneak attack and successfully landed on the island. The priestess Kanade was unable to confront them head-on, so she took their power at the cost of her life and sealed them in the Jade Box before jumping into the Roaring Furnace.
Even after gaining full power, Long Luo didn't think he could destroy the barrier of Penglai Island with a single strike.
joke!
Is that something a monster could do?
Sesshomaru glanced at Ryura, too lazy to say a word, only letting out a sneer from his nose.
Long Luo's face twitched, and his hands suddenly clasped together in front of his chest. The light on the Azure Dragon Claw shoulder guards suddenly surged, transforming into two azure dragon-shaped energies, wrapped in sharp wind blades and lightning, roaring towards Sesshomaru.
Sesshomaru continued to wield his sword in a completely unremarkable manner, the blade flashing across the trajectory of the Azure Dragon's energy, like a hot knife cutting into grease.
The two powerful dragon-shaped energies transformed into two dissipated plumes of light and smoke.
The flashing of blades never ceased.
Passing through the afterimage of the energy, it continued forward, cutting into Long Luo's chest.
Long Luo froze in mid-air, still in the posture of launching his attack, the light in his pupils quickly dimming.
The slashing effect of the Bakusaiga spread outward from the cut on his chest. The blue demonic power and flesh began to disintegrate into fine fragments of light, which peeled away little by little from his limbs and bones. They were swept away by the sea breeze and dissipated under the moonlight.
"The last one!"
The sea was cleaved open by the silvery-white figure, followed closely by moonlight, which illuminated the dark water with a flowing streak of light.
Sesshomaru plunged into the sea. The moment his Crescent Moon Armor touched the seawater, it emitted a faint halo, isolating the water pressure and resistance within three inches of his body. His silver hair floated backward in the water, like a ray of elongated moonlight.
Beneath the deep water, the light dims layer by layer, from light blue to dark blue, and then to an almost all-encompassing inky black.
But Sesshomaru doesn't need light; the flow of demonic energy is clearer than sight.
The massive demonic aura of Gangluo, as large as a mountain, was sinking and accelerating ahead, stirring up the undercurrents in the nearby sea.
Gangluo sensed the approaching pursuers.
Its thick, tortoise-shell-like carapace suddenly contracted, and its four legs and head retracted into the shell. Its body sank rapidly, like a meteorite thrown into the deep sea, accompanied by overwhelming water pressure.
At the same time, a dark red light shone through the gaps in his carapace.
Dozens of cannon muzzles protruded from the edge of the armor, aimed at the direction Sesshomaru was pursuing.
boom--
A dense array of water cannons, packed with compressed water pressure and demonic power, spewed out from their muzzles.
Sesshomaru slightly raised his right hand, which was holding the Bakusaiga, and the emerald green blade sliced a thin vacuum channel in the water.
The water cannon was instantly dissolved into nothingness the moment it collided with the blade.
Then he delivered the second blow!
