She coughed violently, tears welling up in her eyes.

The tears slid down her cheeks, glistening under the lamplight.

It took her a while to recover.

She looked up at him, her golden pupils carrying a hint of admonition.

But the admonition was too gentle; it was more like a coquettish plea than a reprimand.

"This is the teacher's classroom," she said, her voice still a little hoarse, but she tried her best to maintain the demeanor of a teacher.

"Don't move around... I'll set an example for you."

As soon as she finished speaking, she glanced at him subconsciously.

Just one glance.

Then she quickly lowered her head, her long, gilded hair falling down and obscuring her profile.

It's unclear whether she was trying to hide the blush on her face or genuinely wanted to continue "lecturing" Yue Qingge.

A faint smile played on Yue Qingge's lips, her lips curving slightly upwards.

"Is Mom burying her head in the sand?"

"Huh?"

Qian Renxue raised her head, her eyes filled with confusion.

Her bewildered expression, coupled with her slightly reddened eyes and glistening lips, was indescribably moving.

"It's nothing." Yue Qingge's smile deepened. "Mom: Just go to class."

Qian Renxue didn't think about it anymore.

Because the spirit sword was now pointed directly at her again.

She tentatively extended her slender, jade-like fingers.

Perhaps due to nervousness, his fingertips were damp with a fine sheen of sweat.

The cool fingertips landed on the spirit sword, stroking it carefully, as if they were maintaining some precious treasure.

After this period of "tutoring," she is no longer the clueless little girl she once was.

While stroking the spirit sword, she would slightly raise her forehead and observe the subtle expressions on his face out of the corner of her eye.

If he frowns, she softens her pressure.

If his breathing became heavier, she would knead him more vigorously.

This is the love and care that comes from a mother.

She found herself not resisting him—in fact, she had begun to identify with him.

"Baby, is this comfortable?"

Before she finished speaking, her small hand was still creating ripples on the spirit sword.

The movements were awkward yet earnest, as if they were performing some sacred ritual.

Yue Qingge's breathing became heavier.

"Hoo... Mom, can I use Angel's Abyss?" His voice was hoarse. "Using your hands... isn't that too monotonous?"

Qian Renxue's face flushed red.

She bit her lower lip.

After the earlier ordeal, it was slightly red and swollen, with a moist sheen.

Well, it's come to this already.

She sighed inwardly, her resolve to give up only intensifying.

She stretched out her fingers and gripped the spirit sword firmly. Then, she slowly lowered her head, bringing her delicate face closer.

She tentatively extended her lilac-shaped forked tongue and gently traced it across the blade.

The spiritual liquid overflowing from the top had a slightly sweet taste.

It's strange, but not unpleasant.

She frowned slightly and took another bite.

It's not bad...indeed.

Under Yue Qingge's urging gaze, she opened the Abyss E-mouth.

The worm, which had been hiding in the dark and damp place, seemed to have seen the light of day again, and began to tear and strangle the coronal.

First, they circled around, launching an attack.

Close suddenly when you get close -

"Si Yiyi"

Yue Qingge gasped.

A powerful suction force emanated from the abyss's gaping maw, as if it were trying to suck his soul away.

That moist, soft force enveloped him layer by layer, each contraction bringing an ultimate experience.

With constant friction and surrender, time ticked away.

Chapter Fifteen: Return

Half an hour later—

The mottled seed finally burst forth in her abyss.

Come.

At the last moment, Yue Qingge grabbed Qian Renxue's head again, running her fingers through her gilded hair, giving her an intimate touch.

He felt a series of tremors coming from the depths of the abyss, the tremors causing a retraction that suppressed, enveloped, and continuously squeezed the spirit sword.

Warm waves erupted from her abyss.

With each gulp of her throat, she swallowed the enormous feast.

When it was all over, she slowly raised her head.

That pristine face now showed obvious signs of fatigue.

The deep light in his golden eyes shattered, unable to refocus even a fraction.

She seemed to have gone through a long battle, and her whole being exuded a kind of languidness after being crushed.

A trace of white residue, not yet wiped away, still clung to the corner of his mouth.

Yue Qingge reached out and pulled her into her arms.

She leaned obediently against his chest, her cheek pressed against his heart, listening to his strong heartbeat—thump, thump, thump—much faster than her own.

His fingers landed on her gilded hair, smoothing it down little by little.

The movements were gentle and slow, as if caressing the shock in her heart, or as comforting a frightened little animal.

"Are you tired?" he asked softly.

".....Hmm." Her voice was even softer, as if it came from a very far place.

"How about you take a nap?"

She did not answer.

She simply adjusted to a more comfortable position in his arms, burying her face even deeper.

A long time passed, so long that Yue Qingge thought she had fallen asleep:

"Moonlight Song".

"Um?"

"I feel like..." Her muffled voice came from his chest.

"I'm really getting used to being your mom."

Yue Qingge looked down at her.

She kept her face down, her expression hidden. Only the lingering blush on the tips of her ears betrayed her thoughts.

He chuckled softly and pulled her closer.

"Then continue to be one."

She didn't say anything more.

She simply nuzzled against him gently, like a little lip and foot:

cat.

Neither of them spoke; they simply leaned against each other in silence.

Yue Qingge could feel the heartbeat of the girl in her arms. The heartbeat gradually calmed down from its initial rapid pace, like the tranquility after the tide recedes.

He looked down at her, and a thousand feet of snow had already filled his eyes, his eyelashes...

Feather cast a faint shadow on her eyelids, her breathing even and long.

He moved gently, slowly lowering her down so that she could rest her head in the crook of his arm.

With his other hand, he gathered her loose, gilded hair, his fingertips running through the soft strands, feeling the lingering warmth.

Then he held her tightly and closed his eyes.

Silent all night.

Only their intertwined breaths rose and fell gently in the silence.

The next day.

Qian Renxue woke up early.

What came into view was Yue Qingge's chest—a chest that rose and fell slightly with his breath, the boy's skin warm.

She paused, and images from yesterday flashed through her mind, instantly bringing her back to her senses.

A surge of energy welled up in my heart.

Her face flushed instantly, the redness spreading down her cheeks.

She bit her lower lip, trying to pull away from his embrace.

But his arm was wrapped around her waist, seemingly casually, yet she couldn't break free.

She tried twice, then three times.

Not moving.

Qian Renxue gave up.

She lay back down, her cheek pressed against his chest, feeling the warmth and strong heartbeat.

The sound of her heartbeat, one beat at a time, was like a calming rhythm, which made her relax unconsciously.

She nuzzled closer, burying her face even deeper, and then closed her eyes again.

From an angle she couldn't see, Yue Qingge's lips curled up slightly.

He woke up the moment she first tried to leave.

He felt her gentle struggles in his arms, and he felt her eventual resignation.

He felt her dependence as she rubbed her little head against his chest.

The movement was gentle, like a kitten searching for a comfortable position.

He lowered his head, wanting to place a kiss on the top of her head.

Just as he was about to touch her hair.

Qian Renxue suddenly raised her head.

boom.

The two collided, making a crisp sound.
