Author's report on October 25, 2020

Update: I went to the hospital, and the diagnosis showed I have severe allergies. Combined with long-term sleep deprivation and lack of rest, my health is currently very poor. I will be going through a period of recuperation. I will only be able to dedicate a very small amount of time to writing each day. The next chapter will not be updated until around November 31st. Author Status Report, October 18, 2021


The author has recently been suffering from mental despair and insomnia due to seemingly insurmountable difficulties. A visit to a psychiatric hospital for examination revealed that the author is diagnosed with severe depression, anxiety disorder, and paranoid personality disorder, among other mental illnesses. The author's mental state is now considered abnormal. Long-term psychotherapy will soon begin. It will be difficult for the author to continue updating this work. Therefore, this work will be on indefinite hiatus until the author's mental state improves. Apologies to all readers.

Although I said at the end of the last chapter that I would finish it with a single update, it seems quite difficult at the moment. Should I break my promise again and add a few more chapters before ending this chapter, or should I stick to my promise and cram all the content into one chapter...? The former would guarantee the update frequency but would result in less content, while the latter would require readers to wait a few more days, and the reading experience might be worse due to the larger word count. The former would involve updating 6000 to 8000 words per day, while the latter would involve a single chapter of 3 to 4 words after a week... That's roughly it.
