From behind the cavalry formation, a completely different mount slowly emerged.

That thing was at least a size and a half larger than an ordinary warhorse, with four legs as thick as stone pillars, and its hooves made a heavy metallic clanging sound when they landed.

Its skin and eyes are the most striking features.

Its skin resembles tightly packed gray scales, covering its neck and hindquarters.

But his vertical pupils were chilling.

It is obvious that this is a dragonblood warhorse.

Riding this warhorse was a man dressed in full dark silver heavy armor.

The helmet visor was lowered, revealing only a pair of dark eyes.

His right hand held an extremely long lance, its body jet black, the tip gleaming with a dark red glow.

The whole person and the mount looked like a moving iron tower.

"Be careful." Anna's voice came from beside her, unusually serious. "He's level 63."

The Dragonblood Warhorse approached slowly with heavy steps, stopping ten meters away from the three of them.

"My name is Hagen, commander of the Ironscale Dragon Riders."

He gently tapped the scales of the Dragonblood Warhorse with the butt of his lance.

"You guys made quite a commotion; I could feel that sacred aura from afar."

Lynn stood there without replying.

Hagen wasn't in a hurry; his gaze shifted to the doors marked with red crosses.

“When my patrol came to check three days ago, all of these people were coughing up blood.”

"now what?"

He tilted his head, as if listening to what was happening behind the door.

Then he slowly turned to Lynn.

"The disease has completely disappeared."

"I've never heard of anyone in all of Toussaint who could do something like this."

He leaned forward slightly, the dark red tip of his gun pointing towards Lynn.

"If you are captured, the city lord will surely reward you handsomely."

Lisa took half a step forward, and even though she knew she was no match for Hagen, she pointed her longsword at him.

"You can give it a try."

Hagen glanced at Lisa, not seeing her as a threat at all.

"Young lady, I don't like killing women," he said casually. "But if you insist on standing in front of me..."

The tip of the lance twitched.

"I don't mind."

Lynn stood still, quickly assessing the situation.

There were more than twenty cavalrymen around level 30, plus a dragon knight at level 63.

If he summons the Sirens now and uses "Song of the Seas," he should be able to wipe out everyone instantly.

This is the fastest and most stable solution.

He was preparing to activate his sanity.

"Lynn."

Anna's voice came from the side.

"Leave this to me."

Lynn turned his head.

Anna was looking at Hagen.

Her expression remained calm and composed, but Lynn saw a look in her eyes that he rarely saw before.

anger.

Anna's idea was simple: in order to maintain her sanity, she had always been hesitant and dared not use powerful spells.

But it's different now.

Because Lynn can restore her sanity.

Things she had never dared to use before, she could now try.

Anna raised her right hand.

A powerful, aggressive light shone from his palm.

Anna walked away from Lynn and stood in the middle of the street, facing the Ironscale Dragon Knight Hagen.

Hagen's expression changed.

"I told you, I don't like killing women."

Anna looked up at the dark eyes behind the mask.

"That's perfect."

Golden light suddenly exploded in her palm, illuminating the entire street.

"I'm not going to give you a chance either."

Anna gave Hagen no time to prepare.

Golden light condensed in her palm for a moment, and a holy spear of light shot out, piercing the night sky and heading straight for Hagen's face.

It was extremely fast, but Hagen was even faster.

The Dragonblood Warhorse suddenly turned to the side, and Hagen's lance swept out, its dark red light surging, forcefully deflecting the Holy Spear aside.

A muffled thud.

The holy spear grazed Hagen's shoulder armor and slammed into the cavalry ranks behind him. A scream rang out as two cavalrymen, horse and rider, were thrown off by the golden light.

Hagen glanced down at the white scorch marks on his shoulder armor caused by the holy light, then looked up.

"Are you from the church?"

Anna did not reply.

The second holy spear has taken shape.

This one is bigger and brighter than the last one.

But she didn't throw it.

She clenched her right fist, and the Holy Spear shattered in mid-air into hundreds of golden blades of light, which rained down on Hagen like a storm.

"Disperse," Hagen hissed.

With a powerful leap, the Dragonblood Warhorse charged forward, surging straight through the rain of light blades.

Golden light shimmered on the gray scales, and tiny blades of light left white marks on the scales, but could not penetrate them.

Dragonblood's scales are naturally effective against magic.

Anna clearly knew this as well.

Because she has changed her tactics.

She raised her left hand, and a complex magic circle appeared in her palm.

Lynn stood at the back of the street, frowning as he looked at the spinning magic circle in Anna's hand.

The magical energy emanating from that magic circle was completely different from the holy light spells Anna usually used.

It was more intense, more violent, as if something had been forcibly unleashed from the depths of the soul.

"Martyrdom of Light." Anna's voice came from ahead.

Flames erupted from the magic circle, but instead of flying towards Hagen, they enveloped Anna herself.

Golden flames spread from her feet to her shoulders, enveloping her entire body, but Anna showed no pain; instead, her eyes shone even brighter than before.

Golden pupils burned in the flames.

Lynn's heart clenched suddenly.

He subconsciously used his identification technique on Anna.

[Sanity value: 97-90 / The evil god's followers will not target you because of this]

One "Martyrdom" cost me seven points.

Anna, enveloped in golden flames, streaked towards Hagen like a shooting star.

Hagen reacted just as quickly, slashing horizontally with his lance to meet Anna head-on.

The two beams of light collided violently in the middle of the street.

The shockwave exploded in all directions.

The stone walls on both sides of the street were shaken, sending shards of stone flying everywhere, and several wooden doors were blown off their frames.

Lynn was pushed back two steps by the blast wave.

Lisa stood in front of him, her adamantite sword plunging into the ground to steady herself.

After the dust settled, Anna and Hagen had already parted ways.

Anna stood on the south side of the street, the golden flames on her body still burning, but a piece of her left sleeve was torn by the wind from the gun.

Hagen is on the north side, and there is a clear handprint in the center of his breastplate.

He looked down at the palm print.

"Saint's Lament?" His voice came from behind the helmet, tinged with surprise. "Where did you learn this forbidden technique?"

Anna did not answer.

Her right hand lit up again.

It was just that the magic circle had been transformed into a longsword formed from holy light.

The sword was as white as the midday sun, so white that it was almost blinding.

“Judgment,” Anna said, uttering the second name.

The moment the white lightsaber took shape, Lynn felt the temperature in the air drop several degrees.

It's not that it's gotten colder.

It was that sword that absorbed all the heat from the surrounding area.

Anna gripped the sword and charged straight at Hagen.

Hagen finally stopped sitting idly by and waiting for its demise.

The dragon-blooded warhorse reared up, its dark red lance leaving a long afterimage as it slashed down from above.

Anna dodged to the side.

A white lightsaber slashed horizontally.

The sword's edge grazed the gun barrel, and Hagen's wrist jerked as he steadied himself, flicking the butt of the gun back to thrust it straight at Anna's abdomen.

Anna turned and glided past the spearhead like a burning butterfly. Golden flames suddenly burst forth from her left palm, and she slammed her hand onto the scales on the head of the Dragonblood Warhorse.

The Dragonblood Warhorse let out a painful neigh as its head was forcefully pressed to the ground by a palm strike enveloped in golden flames, causing its front hooves to buckle and nearly cause it to kneel.

Hagen squeezed the horse's belly with his legs, leaned forward, and changed his spear from a slash to a thrust, aiming straight for Anna's throat.

Anna leaned back to dodge, and the white lightsaber slashed upwards in the process.

The tip of the sword drew a spark across Hagen's mask.

The difference is minuscule.

The two of them separated again.
