Now, Fissna is single-mindedly focused on killing Denise.

So she unleashed her demonic power in one go and caught up with Teresa. No matter how much Ineli called out to her, it was no use.

"Forget it, at your current level, you can't possibly beat me no matter how many times you try!"

Denise tried to persuade Fisna, but Fisna only focused on unleashing her demonic power.

"Beep...beep..." A more obvious change occurred in Fisna's body than before, her muscles swelled, and she became more and more like a demon.

When the greatsword unleashes 10% of its demonic power, the eyes will change color; at 30%, the face will change; and at 50%, even the body will change.

If it exceeds 80%, it cannot be restored and will awaken into an Awakened in one go.

And now, Fissna has been liberated to 70%.

"Stop talking nonsense!" Fisna had almost lost all her rationality.

"You clearly killed humans! You clearly killed humans!"

Fissna became a broken record, only knowing how to repeat one sentence.

Teresa remained calm and composed: "The limits of demonic power must be gradually explored through continuous battles. You've only just become a Claymore; your experience is still insufficient. Continue..."

"Shut up!"

Fisna moved at high speed like a phantom. Within the immense demonic aura, there was almost no trace of human presence.

"How dare you kill my father!"

Denise was speechless. Was she already delirious?

However, the release of demonic power had an immediate effect.

Fissna's combat power has risen to an unbelievable level, her body has become like a demonic muscleman, and her limbs can be deformed at will, launching attacks from unbelievable angles.

"Swish!" Teresa's forehead was grazed by the blade, and blood flowed down her cheek.

"Denesha!" Claire exclaimed anxiously.

“I didn’t want to do this…” Denise sighed, then her eyes changed color slightly, from silver to dazzling gold.

"Whoosh!" A demonic aura, equally earth-shattering but clearly stronger, erupted.

"Swish swish swish swish!"

Dinesa severed all four of Fissna's limbs in one go, then took out a red and white ball and threw it at her.

"Buzz...buzz...buzz...pop!"

The red ball shook three times, and then several stars flew out of the ball.

She hadn't originally intended to subdue Fissna, but the brat was simply too persistent. Since that was the case, she had no choice.

The reason Fissna's limbs were severed was because Murphy had said that the chances of capturing these balls were higher when the target was seriously injured.

As for whether this constitutes human trafficking... Denise, living in a medieval-like world teeming with demons, while possessing a certain rudimentary morality, cannot be expected to have the same moral compass as modern people. Besides, in her view, even being a slave might be better than being a greatsword in this world. Because greatswords have a lifespan. A greatsword's career, on average, is only three or four years. A black slave might even outlive them.

The three people, including Ineli, who had just caught up, witnessed everything and were dumbfounded.

"Denesa used a small ball to trap Fissna?" Royal's mouth gaped open enough to fit a light bulb.

"What is that? Is it another secret weapon of the organization? Or is it a special ability of an Awakened?" In the world that Inelli knew, there was nothing that matched this.

"I didn't expect you to arrive so quickly."

Denise picked up the red and white balls and Fissna's limbs from the ground.

“What have you done, Denise!” Inelie demanded.

"As you can see, I have subdued Fisna. If you want to know the truth, then come with me. But I must warn you beforehand that once you step onto the other side of the door, you may never be able to return to your original world!"

The three women, including Ineli, were conflicted.

Just as they were lost in thought, a strange door suddenly appeared in front of Denise.

"Huh?" The three greatswordsmen were dumbfounded when they saw a large gate appear out of thin air.

This ability to create something out of thin air is nothing short of a miracle.

They suddenly started having all sorts of wild thoughts. They also knew that Teresa was the name of a goddess.

Could it be that Teresa is the messenger of the goddess? Or is she actually the goddess herself?

.........

I originally wanted to recreate the scene from the original story where Teresa is beheaded by Faithna, so that she could later form a Hextech bond with Mami Tomoe. But after thinking about it, Teresa isn't that stupid. In the original story, it was simply a combination of several reasons, including her soft heart and the initial attraction.

Chapter Twenty-Seven: Excessive Concentration of White Hair

Teresa pushed open the door and let Claire go in first. Then, she turned back to look at the three greatswords who were still in a daze.

"Well, are you all ready?"

Denise spoke calmly.

The three greatswordsmen stared thoughtfully at the entrance of the tavern.

What they were seeing was truly astonishing and completely beyond their comprehension.

More importantly, Teresa is a traitor the organization has specifically named as unforgivable. Having just captured the organization's rising star, Fisna, whose limbs had been severed, through unknown means, they are extremely hesitant about having further contact with Teresa.

Dinisa was slightly disappointed to see that they hadn't made any move.

To fight against an organization that has been deeply entrenched for many years is not something she can do alone. Therefore, she actually wants to win over some allies. And these three Claymores from her generation are the targets she has her eye on.

But now it seems that years of brainwashing by the organization cannot be easily reversed overnight. It's unlikely they will become allies in the short term.

Denise stopped pressing the issue and turned to walk into the bar.

As the doors of the bar slowly closed, Ineli suddenly stepped forward and was the first to walk towards the bar.

"Irene!" Royal and Sophia exclaimed in surprise. They hadn't expected that Irene, who seemed the most composed, would be the first to make up her mind. "Have you really thought through what you're doing?"

The place behind that mysteriously appearing door is completely unknown, and it's hard to say what you'll encounter once you go inside.

"Ah."

Inellie nodded.

She had wondered if there might be a trap behind that door. But upon closer reflection, if Denise wanted to kill them, she wouldn't need to go through such a roundabout way.

With their combined strength, even if they awakened their powers on the spot right now, it wouldn't take Denise much effort to deal with them.

"More importantly, I also want to know what the organization's darkness really is."

Ineli's loyalty to the organization was not nearly as extreme as that of Fisna.

She stands on the organization's side simply because of its long-standing teachings and the fact that the organization has indeed been eliminating demons and protecting humanity.

However, the behavior of the townspeople made her waver.

She understood that, in the eyes of ordinary people, bandits were no less dangerous than demons. However, she felt that if Teresa were allowed to run rampant, the Claymores might follow suit, their morals constantly declining, and they would use their power to bully ordinary people at will.

By then, even if they don't awaken, what difference will there be between these greatswordsmen and demons?

Seeing all this, Ineli felt a surge of intense curiosity. She wanted to know what had happened to Denise that had turned her into this.

“You don’t need to come along,” Inellie said, trying to persuade Royal and Sophia.

Sometimes, knowing too much isn't necessarily a good thing. There's no need to burden them with your own curiosity.

"What are you saying!"

However, Royal and Sophia had already followed them through the gate.

"We came together, so of course we should act together!"

Ineli felt a warmth in her heart.

Although the greatswordsmen appear detached from emotion, their unique experiences have actually made them more sensitive than ordinary people. Even a mature warrior like her is no exception.

The three of them had just stepped into the bar when the door behind them suddenly slammed shut.

The three, who had just been driven mad by Teresa, gripped their greatswords like frightened birds, but immediately a cute girl in a blue bodysuit stepped forward.

Welcome to Monster Tavern!

The three of them then slowly released their grip.

They scrutinized the girl before them, their eyes filled with astonishment.

Although I've never seen this kind of clothing before, judging from what she said, this must be a tavern?

The three felt a pang of disappointment. They had made a huge decision to come here, only to find themselves in a tavern?

Just as they were thinking this, the three of them caught sight of Jamila, who was busy running around, and Murphy, who was mixing drinks behind the bar.

"An Awakened One?"

That strange appearance didn't look human at all. The only beings that fit their understanding were the oddly-looking Awakened.

Inellie was somewhat disappointed.

She had thought Teresa really knew some secrets. Now it seemed she might be colluding with the Awakened Ones?

In that case, the sudden summoning of a door would make sense. Greatswords often gain many strange abilities after awakening. Although most awakened abilities are related to combat, it's not impossible for one or two to emerge as aberrant beings.

Royal and Sophia, who were standing nearby, thought so too.

Homura Akemi could see through their thoughts, because she had been the same way when she first arrived.

"You mean the shop manager and Uncle Jamila? They're not Awakened Ones!"

"what?"

The three greatswordsmen were not very convinced.

"It's true. The shopkeeper is an alien, and Uncle Jamila used to be an Earthling, but now he's mutated into a monster."

The three greatswordsmen were completely bewildered. What was all this about? Lacking sufficient education, they couldn't understand a word Homura Akemi was saying. Homura sighed, "Why does the manager always bring illiterate people to this bar?"

Inelli carefully sensed them: "Those two people really don't seem to have any demonic aura. Could it be that we've made a mistake?"

If one is an awakened being, their demonic power cannot be hidden when they reveal their awakened form.

“You came with Miss Teresa, right? Why don’t you sit at the same table with them? She can explain things to you slowly,” Homura Akemi suggested.

After some time, although the number of customers at the bar was still not large, it was no longer the desolate place it once was. Therefore, she, the bar's manager, became busier and couldn't explain the bar's situation to them as she had when Denise first arrived.

Sofia and Royal looked at Ineli, who hesitated for a moment before nodding.

"It seems you've made your choice after all!"

Seeing the three of them, Denise was in a good mood.

"However, I have some things to attend to right now, so I'll explain later. Please wait here for me!"

After Denise finished speaking, she got up and went to find Murphy without giving the three of them a chance to refuse.

The three women, including Irene, looked at each other, somewhat at a loss.

After they sat down, they realized that something seemed off about the bar.

Aside from the bartender and waiters not seeming human, the furnishings and layout here are also quite unusual.

There were many things they didn't recognize. But judging from the parts they did recognize, this place was even more luxurious than the most luxurious hotels on the mainland.

Could this really be the realm of the gods? Is this where the gods drink?

……

While the three greatswordsmen were fidgeting, Teresa found Murphy with two red and white orbs.

After a month or so, the drinking scene had undergone a complete transformation.

When she first came, the bar looked like a ruin, and business was slow.

The renovation is much more normal now, and we've had quite a few more customers.

Denise casually glanced around: a lecherous, white-haired old man with a child; a white-haired man who was inexplicably sweating profusely but still gorging on some unknown dessert; a white-haired nobleman with pointed ears, wearing a white fur coat, and with face paint on his face...

Hmm, isn't the concentration of white hair in this store a bit too high? Denise thought to herself.

Chapter Twenty-Eight: Cupid Ushers in a New Era (?)

Although that's what she thought in her heart, Denise still had some emotional intelligence. So when she saw Murphy, she simply smiled and congratulated him: "Manager, it seems your business has been doing well lately!"

"Haha! It's alright!"
