"Brother...the door isn't closed..."
The soft, distinctive voice of a unicorn came from inside the door.
Pushing open the door, inside the room, Unicorn was sitting on the bed holding Yu-chan. It seemed that if Robo had arrived any later, she would have gone to sleep.
"Unicorn, I want to talk to you."
Rob cut to the chase and got straight to the point.
"Um... Brother, what do you want to talk to the unicorn about?"
Rob walked over and sat down in the chair.
"Will the unicorn be able to adapt after awakening?"
"Actually, it's not much different from before...brother."
The unicorn shrank its head, hiding its face even deeper.
"Unicorn, you know, some people call your situation a new-type. It's a kind of human evolution to adapt to the cosmic environment."
"Some also believe that this power can guide humanity's direction..."
Rob's conversation gradually veered off course, and somehow, it ended up touching on the grudges and feuds of that cosmic era from his memories.
It was already late at night when Robo came out of the unicorn's room.
He didn't know how much the unicorn had actually listened to or understood.
He could only tell the unicorn a few more words at the very end.
Listen, feel, think.
The next morning, after exchanging a few harsh words, the Royal Navy and Ironblood fleets each headed back to their respective bases.
Warspite became the absolute highlight of the entire Royal Fleet, and the old lady had been asked countless times to bring out the mobile suit again so they could have a good look at it.
With a wry smile, Warspite saw off yet another wave of ships that came to see the novelty, and then simply said that he had other things to discuss and went to Robo for refuge.
"What's wrong, Ms. Warspite?"
Seeing the old lady running over like she was fleeing a disaster, Rob and his group roughly understood the reason behind it.
But that doesn’t stop them from making fun of this respectable old lady again, does it?
"Sir, I think I don't need to explain the reason clearly, do I?"
Taking the teacup from Zhenhai, Yanzhan scratched his head and complained to everyone.
"Honestly, they don't even know how to be considerate of me. They came knocking on my door before dawn, saying they wanted to see my Gundam."
"Hey, you've only just begun, Lady Warspite. I think you'd better think about how to face His Majesty back in the Royal Country."
Seeing Warspite's bewildered expression, Rob felt he could add fuel to the fire.
As soon as Rob finished speaking, Warspite's expression changed immediately.
"Oh no! We're doomed!"
With a loud thud, Warspite's forehead slammed onto the table.
Others are fine, given Warspite's status in the royal family, as long as she refuses, no one will dare to do anything.
But Her Majesty didn't care about all that. She said the sun rose in the west today, and Warspite could only agree that the sun did indeed rise in the west today.
"Sir, how about I return the ship equipment to you?"
In the end, Warspite had already given up on himself, and he figured he might as well not have the Gundam!
"We can discuss this later. Let me give you a heads-up, ma'am. I cannot allow a strategic weapon like the Gundam X to remain unexploded or wrecked."
Rob put away his previous sarcastic expression, straightened his face, and stated his attitude.
Just before Warspite arrived, Rob had been discussing the Gundam X mobile suit with Chinkai.
The final conclusion was that the royal family would absolutely not let go.
Given this, Rob should consider how to extract as much profit as possible while the machine cannot be recovered.
So, Robb had just intended to send a signal to the royal family through this old lady.
However, it's clear that the old lady doesn't have time to think about these things right now.
She is now terrified by that capricious Queen.
Leaving the old lady behind, Rob turned to check on the unicorn.
Rob just saw her go out alone and contact the carrier-based aircraft on the sea.
"unicorn?"
Rob stood on the deck and greeted the unicorn.
Upon hearing its commander's summons, the unicorn immediately ran over.
"Brother... Unicorn feels that she is more proficient in controlling the carrier-based aircraft."
Rob understood what was going on as soon as he heard it. New-type people all use floating cannons, so controlling a few planes is not a big problem.
Rather, in this world, aircraft carriers and warships are much like floating cannons in terms of handling airplanes.
"Great!"
Robb was naturally generous with his praise; he was genuinely happy for the child.
The unicorn seemed to sense Rob's happiness, and a bright smile appeared on its face.
Chapter 62: Royal Family: It's just adding money.
With the Royal Fleet sailing back to the homeland, Robb had only one task left to perform for the Royal Family.
Of course, due to a series of issues, the royal family discussed it internally for a long time, leaving Robert out for several days.
During his free time, Rob also took a few days to rest.
Every day, he either spends time with the unicorn, telling her stories, or takes the company for a leisurely stroll around Royal Palace.
Zhenhai has developed an interest in chess these past few days, and sometimes he even gets Luo Bo to study it with him.
Since neither of them understood this game, it eventually turned into a situation where the two terrible chess players were serving each other food.
As for Ruihe, she was quite devoted. Apart from making her presence known to Rob every day and claiming to protect Rob's safety, she kept a close eye on the company without saying a word.
Rob couldn't stand it anymore, so he went over and asked her.
Zuikaku's final answer left Rob speechless, both amused and exasperated.
"I really want to duel with Grey Ghost, but I'm no match for her!"
As she spoke, Ruihe kept glancing at Luo Bo, but Luo Bo pretended not to notice.
Finally, the internal discussions within the royal family concluded.
Early that morning, Belfast brought news of the Queen's summons.
After nodding in agreement, Rob led his group of men straight off.
When I arrived at the place, I was surprised to find that everyone was there.
However, this small conference room revealed far too much of the human condition.
First up is Queen Elizabeth. Right now, this eternally eleven-year-old queen is beaming with pride, her nose even more upturned than usual.
Then there was Warspite next to her, whose face was visibly etched with exhaustion.
Needless to say, he's been through a lot these past few days thanks to Queen Elizabeth.
At that moment, Glorious was whispering something to his sister, Victory, whom he hadn't seen in a long time. When he saw Rob and his group arrive, he nodded slightly in greeting and then went back to playing with his sister.
The battleships led by King George V looked less than pleased, staring with worried expressions at their queen and the old lady beside her.
When they saw Rob enter, their headaches seemed to worsen.
"Your Majesty, greetings."
With his fleet of ships, Rob first greeted Elizabeth.
"Ms. Warspite, you don't look too well."
Rob knew perfectly well why Warspite was acting that way.
"Please don't joke, sir. You know the truth." The old lady sighed deeply, her eyes seeming to hold a hint of despair.
At the invitation of the head maid, Robb sat down in his seat.
Now we need to discuss the issues properly.
"Your Majesty, what brings you to me today?"
Although he already had a general idea of what was going on, Rob decided to let Elizabeth tell him herself. After all, this queen could only be petted gently, otherwise she would easily get angry, and things might get messy.
"Hmph, you know perfectly well what I'm asking. Name your price! That Warspite mobile suit!"
"Your Majesty, you jest. What price do you think I should ask for for this strategic weapon?"
While assuming the most comfortable sitting position, Rob smiled and threw the question back at him.
"At once..."
Although the Queen is willful, she is not ignorant; on the contrary, she is very clear about everything. Treating her like a child will only lead to serious consequences.
Rob threw the question back at her, and she herself got stuck.
Indeed, this strategic weapon is priceless, especially since it may be the only weapon of its kind in the world.
"Don't interrupt! I want you to name your price!"
After thinking for a while without coming up with a solution, Elizabeth simply resorted to cheating.
“Your Majesty, in fact, I only have one solution to this matter.”
Robert paused for a moment, observed the expressions of the royals, and then said, "I'm taking Lady Warspite with me. I can't let such a dangerous weapon remain unexploded orphaned. I think you all understand."
"No, absolutely not!"
Upon hearing this, Elizabeth nearly jumped off her throne.
If we were to say who was the most important person to Elizabeth in the entire royal family, it would undoubtedly be Warwear.
If Robb takes Warspite away, it's no different for Elizabeth than if she's lost an arm.
"Your Excellency, we absolutely cannot accept this proposal."
King George V glanced at Warspite and echoed his sentiment.
"Your Excellency, I also cannot accept this proposal."
Glancing at the Queen beside her, Warspite perked up. Sending her across the ocean to the East was absolutely out of the question; she couldn't bear to leave the Queen behind.
"Since everyone disagrees, I have another suggestion. I'll provide another Flag-type unit for Warspite to equip, and I'll take this unit with me."
Unsurprisingly, the royal family could not accept Rob's proposal either.
There's no such thing as taking something you've already got; the Royal Family's attitude was unusually firm. In any case, I'm getting this machine!
Rob could only say that, as expected of the old-school camp, their shamelessness was indeed difficult to deal with.
He then added that if they weren't currently on the same front, Rob would have simply given Gundam X a 2887 and ended it all.
Robo and the Royal Navy argued for days about Warspite and the Gundam X mobile suit. Both sides took turns speaking.
The royal family even tried to use the unicorn to appeal to family ties and get Rob to make concessions.
Unfortunately, the Unicorn is now a human radar; she can immediately detect any bad intentions you may have.
After several days of wrangling, the two sides still failed to reach an agreement.
Despite the Royals' repeated increases in support, indicating that Robb could ask for anything else he needed.
However, Rob insisted that the Gundam X could not be left to roam outside.
The two sides remained deadlocked.
Two days later, Rob finally came up with a solution that was basically satisfactory to both parties.
Robo, the mobile suit of Gundam X, has been left with the Royal Navy on a "rental" basis, and he intends to take the mobile suit's activation device with him.
If the Royal Family needs to use it, Rob can send a special plane to deliver the starter to the Royal Family.
