The sense of security that comes from this huge full-body riot shield, once deployed, is far unmatched by any other operator!

After easily and happily finalizing the first operator, the operator selection screen remained open. As usual, Han Fei could still select two other operators to cooperate with.

With the remaining two operators, Han Fei thought for a moment and then chose the Black one, the Shepherd.

Old Black and Shield Dog have always worked together.

There are two classic combinations for tunnel boring machines (TBMs): one is two TBMs plus a medic, and the other is two TBMs plus a black man.

This dual-shield setup is responsible for absorbing damage while taking down enemies, while the remaining position is for the gunner to finish off the enemy.

Choosing a medic is easy to understand. The Shield Dog character has a high damage reduction buff after activating its ultimate and raising its shield. It loses less health after being shot. Adding a medic allows the Shield Dog to fight for a long time without needing to remove its shield and use healing items.

At the same time, the doctor can also act as a gunman, finishing off enemies.

As for Old Black, although he doesn't have the milk supply of a doctor, he does have small bread rolls, which are sonic traps.

In most cases, due to the fact that sonic traps cannot be deployed on operators, Old Black's bread can only be placed in the room and left for people to step on when they come in.

But the shield dog is an exception; small breads can be deployed on the shield dog's large shield.

In other words, after Old Black attaches the bread roll to the shield, Shield Dog can simply hold up the shield with the bread roll and explode at the enemy!

Only when paired with the Shield Dog can the Little Bread transform from a purely defensive tool into an offensive one.

Looking at the old black shield dog on the screen, Han Fei nodded in satisfaction and said, "Okay, now we only need one last piece of the puzzle."

Deep Blue's disgusting nature is beyond doubt, otherwise he wouldn't have earned the nickname "Shield Dog". Paired with Old Black's Little Bread, his strength is already maxed out.

Now there's one last step: completing Deep Blue's mobility.

As everyone knows, when playing as a shield-wielding dog, you're not afraid of fighting other people, you're afraid of other people not fighting you.

Once Deep Blue activates his shield, chasing someone becomes incredibly difficult. If someone is determined to run, you simply can't catch up.

At this point, a highly mobile unit is needed.

Initially, Han Fei wanted to add a Red Wolf to create an exoskeleton shield.

After a brief hesitation, Han Fei ultimately chose Dragon over Red Wolf.

"Chasing people with your legs is no match for jet propulsion! I'll just dash over there and send them all flying!"

Dragon's jetpack is arguably the strongest mobility skill in Delta Force.

At many of the old six points, only the Dragon could use a jetpack to rush up.

In the Delta, Dragon's jets can only be used for movement, not for ramming people, but Han Fei is now a noble three-in-one!

Deep Blue can send people flying with a single ramming of his big shield, and when combined with Dragon's dash, he's 100% even more powerful!

Furthermore, Dragon's skill set is also very powerful, with both mobility and throwable items, making him a top-notch warrior!

At this point, Han Fei has selected three operators for this knife run: Dragon, Deep Blue, and Shepherd.

"OK, let's go!"

As the countdown ended, Han Fei's vision went black. When he opened his eyes again, he was once again boarding the helicopter.

As the rappelling rope hit the ground, Han Fei heard that familiar male voice again.

"Remember the following: engage in combat, search, and withdraw once you've secured the objective!"

The moment the sound ended, Han Fei landed on the ground.

Unlike the last time when the landing was met with howling winds, this time, after Han Fei landed, the surroundings were completely silent, so quiet that even the sound of a pin dropping could be clearly heard.

"Where is this?"

Han Fei looked around and saw apartment buildings on both sides that stretched straight into the leaden gray sky, with rusty escape staircases twisted into several Z-shapes in the shadows of the buildings.

The bulging green trash can at the end of the alley was emitting a sour, rotten smell of kitchen waste and engine oil. The smell was so strong that Han Fei could smell the pungent odor even from quite a distance.

"This place looks so familiar."

Han Fei muttered to himself, staring at the puddle of water reflecting off the wall. The place felt so familiar that for some reason, an old movie suddenly popped into his head.

The movie is called "Batman," and the protagonist's parents, the Wayne couple, were shot and killed in a similar alley.

However, this place is naturally not Gotham. The reason Han Fei associated it with that scene is simply because this place is a typical American alley, and the sense of déjà vu is very strong.

"So where is this place? Columbia?"

Han Fei muttered something to himself and walked towards the large green trash can.

The closer Han Fei got to the trash can, the stronger the pungent smell became, to the point that for a moment he even considered just giving up—it's just a trash can, he might as well not touch it.

But considering the few remaining HAF coins he had, Han Fei held back.

The green trash can can still drop red items. Although he had never gotten one, he once saw his friend pull a smoothbore gun out of the trash can while they were playing a game together.

As Han Fei touched it, the lid of the large trash can lifted up slightly.

In an instant, an indescribable pungent smell hit him, making it hard for Han Fei to open his eyes.

Han Fei subconsciously held his breath, waiting for the contents of the trash can to finish turning.

Then he regretted it.

"Maya, two white ones? That's so poor, I should have just not searched."

I braved the stench to search through the trash cans, only to find nothing of value. It wasn't a profitable deal.

Han Fei withdrew his hand, and the search interface disappeared from his sight. He turned around and was about to leave when he saw Li Boli standing not far away, carrying a garbage bag and looking at him with disgust.

Even when Han Fei saw him, Li Boli made no attempt to hide the disgust on his face, muttering to himself:

"Where did this homeless person come from?"

When Han Fei heard this, he raised an eyebrow and said, "Which eye of yours saw that I was a homeless person?"

"Tsk."

Liboli scoffed and said, "We Colombian citizens don't rummage through garbage cans here. You probably smuggled yourself in from somewhere, didn't you?"

When Li Boli mentioned his citizenship, a palpable sense of pride shone through his face, clearly showing that he was genuinely proud of his identity.

This also gave Han Fei a crucial piece of information.

"So, this place is indeed Colombia, right?"

Upon hearing this, Li Bo looked at Han Fei with an expression as if he were looking at an idiot, the meaning of which was very clear—where else could this be but Columbia?

Volume 1: Chapter 33 The local gangs are so rude

Li Boli looked Han Fei up and down, and said warily, "Hmm, judging from your appearance, you don't look like a homeless person, but more like a mercenary who has been smuggled in. So what are you doing rummaging through the trash cans here?"

"Nothing to do with you."

Han Fei was too lazy to explain anything to Li Boli, so he turned around and left.

Nali opened his mouth, but didn't dare to actually stop Han Fei.

At first, he didn't notice, but after taking a closer look, he realized that Han Fei's equipment was quite sophisticated and he looked like someone not to be trifled with.

Han Fei walked straight out of the alley, and the moment he stepped out of the shadows at the alley entrance, a wave of noise crashed over him.

The city was bustling with activity, its streets teeming with cars and pedestrians. A group of people of different races and backgrounds, including the impeccably dressed Li Boli, the charming and adorable Fei Lin, office workers, students, and tourists, suddenly came into Han Fei's view.

Han Fei shifted his gaze slightly upwards, and all he could see were tall buildings. The sunlight streaming through the gaps between the buildings refracted a dazzling golden light onto the tempered glass surface, making him squint slightly.

Han Fei shielded his eyes from the sunlight and sighed softly, "What a bustling city."

While marveling at the experience, Han Fei felt a bit lost – where should he start searching for this information?

Han Fei's last knife run was in the Ursus Tundra. There, at least Han Fei knew who the enemy was. After shooting down the infected inspectors, he was able to search their base.

But now, a bustling metropolis lies before Han Fei, and he is at a loss as to where to begin.

In the Delta Force game, Han Fei certainly doesn't have this kind of trouble.

The reason is simple: the areas that the GTI superhumans travel to, whether it's a dam, Bakshi, or a space base full of futuristic technology, can all be designated as war zones.

There are no civilians inside. Once inside, everything that moves, except your teammates, can be considered an enemy.

Players feel no pressure searching and fighting in such places.

—Since the civilians have all left, I might as well take the enemy's stuff!

But right now, the city in front of Han Fei has not evacuated civilians; many people are still living their lives normally here!

Han Fei was a respectable man born and raised under the red flag, who had always abided by the law and regulations. He would never do something like breaking into a stranger's home and ransacking it.

Searching, attacking, and withdrawing in enemy territory is called carrying out a mission.

Searching and raiding the homes of ordinary people is called burglary.

Han Fei understood this point very clearly.

"Forget it, let's just take it one step at a time."

Han Fei stroked his chin, pondering, "Since this place has been identified as Puba, there must be 'Asara soldiers' here. Last time, the 'Asara soldiers' were inspectors. I don't know what they are this time, but there must be such a force that is making me search, attack, and withdraw. I should wander around instead of staying in one place and wasting time."

Thinking of this, Han Fei immediately started moving.

Perhaps it's because of the equipment he's wearing that he doesn't look like a respectable person—who would wear a spiky hat, a bulletproof vest, and a riot shield on their back when going out on the street?

As Han Feixing walked along the main road, passersby cast curious glances at him.

Some even took out their phones to take pictures.

Such stares were becoming more and more frequent, to the point that Han Fei began to wonder if these guys would call the police and have him arrested if he continued walking.

Fortunately, after turning a corner, Han Fei walked into a deserted alley.

There wasn't a single pedestrian on the path, and even the shops on both sides of the street were all closed. As a result, the curious glances disappeared immediately.

"Finally, things have calmed down." Han Fei breathed a sigh of relief. "If we hadn't gone into hiding, those guys probably would have called the police."

As we were talking, another corner appeared ahead.

Han Fei didn't think much of it and turned directly over there.

As soon as he passed by, two young men from the Lupo tribe appeared in front of Han Fei.

The two men seemed to be guarding the path. As soon as Han Fei appeared, they walked towards him.

One of them reached out to stop him, saying, "Hey kid, this road is temporarily closed. We won't make things difficult for you. Just turn around and take another route."

"Oh."

Han Fei responded, a hint of curiosity creeping into his mind—what were these guys doing inside?

Out of curiosity, Han Fei instinctively looked behind the two men and saw a bar a little distance behind them.

This bar is the only place on this street that is still open for business.

The bar's neon sign is open even during the day, with colorful neon lights forming a toasting pattern. Below the sign, a group of men in black suits stand on either side, as if welcoming some important person.

Before Han Fei could even see who these guys were welcoming, two Lupo tribesmen stepped forward and blocked his way.

The one on the right lowered his voice and threatened menacingly, "Kid, don't look at things you shouldn't be looking at. Now get lost."

It's not hard to see that the two men's stepping forward was both a threat and an attempt to physically block Han Fei's view.

Unfortunately, the two men were indeed a bit short. It was quite difficult for two men who were just over 1.7 meters tall to block the view of Han Fei, who was 1.8 meters tall.

Even though they were all wearing black hats, Han Fei's gaze could still pass over their heads and land on the entrance of the bar behind them.

"I'll just take a look."

Han Fei said something casually and then looked away.

The group of people in front of him were clearly not good people, but Han Fei was new to the area and hadn't figured out the situation yet, so he didn't have the intention of starting a war as soon as he landed.

However, just as Han Fei turned his gaze away, a familiar figure entered his field of vision.

She was a wolf-eared girl with silver hair, wearing a black trench coat, and carrying two long swords at her waist.

"Huh? Lappland? What's she doing here?"

Just as Han Fei looked away, his peripheral vision caught a glimpse of a strange movement in the shadows at the alley entrance—a dark mass of figures silently surged in, the muffled thud of leather shoes on the ground masked by the noise of the street, but still catching his ears.

He turned around and saw one after another people in black suits silently walking into his line of sight.

Han Fei didn't think too much about it and casually asked the two Lupo gang members beside him, "Is this your companion?"

Before the two could answer, a crossbow bolt suddenly shot out.
