Survival in the apocalypse, teammate Xia Shiyu at the start

Shiyu looked at her with a smile and asked, "Has Hui ever paid special attention to any man other than her father?"

"Huh? Me?" Kato Megumi thought for a moment, then gently shook her head. "No."

Just as the two girls were chatting.

Shen Zhao piloted the Gundam Exia to the vicinity of the mine.

The Force suddenly issued a warning, followed by a radar alarm.

A chill ran through him, and he pushed the control stick to make the high-speed forward-flying aircraft suddenly veer sideways in the air.

The next moment, a dazzling white light brushed past Exusiai.

Shen Zhao instantly understood: 'This is the ranged attack method of that plasma war scorpion!'

According to the detection results from the sensors mounted on the Exia unit, the beam of white light was a plasma beam containing extremely high temperature and energy.

This is clearly the origin of the name "Giant Scorpion".

It can fire plasma beams to attack enemies!

Shen Zhao silently deduced: 'The beam of light must be emanating from its tail.'

According to simulations by the onboard computer, if hit by that plasma beam, the Exia Gundam's body, made of E-carbon steel, would melt within three seconds.

After all, the Exia is a melee-focused mobile suit, and in pursuit of speed and agility, its defensive capabilities are not strong.

However, Shen Zhao was not deterred by this danger.

If he can't withstand the attack, he will dodge it; he won't give up until he tries his best.

Step on the pedal and push the control lever.

boom!

With a sonic boom, Exusiai, surrounded by a cone-shaped cloud of mist around her waist, flew rapidly toward the mine.

Black Ghost stood on Gundam's left shoulder, gripping the antenna tightly to keep itself from being thrown off by the airflow.

With supersonic flight, Exusiai instantly reached the edge of the mine.

call out!

Another beam of white light shot out from below the mine, but Shen Zhao, who had received a warning from the Force, successfully dodged it.

"It can even adjust the power?"

The sensor detected a significant decrease in the energy intensity of this plasma beam.

It seems that the plasma war scorpion can also change its firing frequency by adjusting its power.

This is completely unlike the capabilities that normal living beings should have.

It is unclear whether it is some kind of man-made biological weapon or a special species from another planet.

Shen Zhao took a deep breath.

What follows is the most dangerous part of this operation.

He needs to swoop down to get close to the giant scorpion and throw the black ghost onto its back.

Then, restrain the giant scorpion to buy time for the black phantom.

The whole process is almost like dancing on a knife's edge; if you're not careful, you and your Gundam will turn into a lump of scrap metal.

"let's start!"

With his Force foresight pushed to its limit, he piloted the Exia straight down into the bottom of the mine.

call out!

A bright white beam pierced through the mist and hurtled towards them, narrowly missing the blue-white steel giant.

Shen Zhao did not give the enemy another chance to intercept and fire.

Just before it was about to collide with the giant scorpion, Exusiai pulled upwards, drawing a V-shaped path.

At the very bottom of the V-shape, the black ghost released its grip and leaped down.

"First step successful!"

The black phantom landed on the giant scorpion's back, which was covered by a shiny black carapace, rolled around a few times, and then stood up.

Shen Zhao's spirits lifted.

While pushing the joystick, press the keys on the keyboard with your other hand.

Exia stopped climbing and raised her GN Composite Gunblade to harass the giant scorpion.

shhhhhh!

GN particle beams bombarded the plasma war scorpion.

"hold head high!"

The giant scorpion hissed and swung its long, raised tail, the tip of which crackled with electricity.

call out!

The plasma beam roared in.

After being dodged by Shen Zhao's control, Exusiai slammed into the rock wall of the mine, causing a violent explosion.

Seeing that the giant scorpion was trying to attack him instead of hiding in the cave, Shen Zhao breathed a sigh of relief.

If the other party just disappears into the cave, then all his efforts will have been in vain.

Disturbed by Exusiai waving around in front of him, the Plasma Battle Scorpion Tail firing frequency increased further.

A beam of white light is emitted almost every five or six seconds.

The limited space inside the mine severely restricted Shen Zhao's mobility.

Flying too fast could easily cause him to crash into the mine walls, forcing him to devote more energy to controlling Exusiai.

This reduces attention to attacks by giant scorpions.

If you fly too slowly, it will be difficult to dodge the plasma beams emitted by the giant scorpion.

Furthermore, in order for the Black Ghost to stand firmly on the giant scorpion's back, a laser pointer was used to guide the Dawn Hammer to its target.

He could only move within a certain range in front of the giant scorpion to prevent the monster from moving around wildly.

These restrictions kept Shen Zhao on edge and highly focused at all times.

Finally, the black phantom on the giant scorpion's back gave the signal that the objective had been completed.

Shen Zhao was overjoyed and immediately reached out to press the launch button on the Dawn Hammer control terminal next to him.

A few seconds later, a strange sound came from the sky.

Immediately, a beam of orange-white light crashed down, striking the giant scorpion's back.

boom! ! !

"hold head high--"

The giant scorpion let out a mournful howl, its long tail swaying wildly from side to side, scattering beams of white light haphazardly.

'Die!'

Shen Zhao controlled Exia to hover in place, his eyes fixed on the screen.

Thirty seconds later, the orange-white beam of light dissipated.

The giant scorpion did not stop moving.

His heart sank.

Before the Dawn Hammer could fully charge and attack again, the Plasma Scorpion roared and scurried quickly toward the cave.

Sure enough, the monster didn't give him a second chance to attack.

Shen Zhao pushed the control stick and rushed in front of the giant scorpion. Nengtian used the GN beam gun to spray bullets at the giant scorpion.

The giant scorpion ignored him completely, swinging its long tail and charging straight at him without even retaliating.

Shen Zhao had no choice but to step aside and make way.

Just as he watched helplessly as the giant scorpion slithered into the cave, feeling extremely frustrated.

The massive body of the Plasma War Scorpion, which had mostly entered the cave, suddenly stopped.

After standing frozen in place for a moment, he suddenly collapsed.

The game notification sounded: "Obtained a sample of the King-level Mist Alien [Plasma War Scorpion], exploration progress increased significantly."

"Success?"

Shen Zhao was still somewhat incredulous.

Just when everyone thought they had failed, things took an unexpected turn for the better. The giant scorpion's hiding action was just a last gasp before it died!

He successfully killed the colossal king-level mist alien!

Shen Zhao's mood instantly soared from the lowest point to the highest, and he burst into laughter in the cockpit.

This feeling is just as wonderful as when I enjoyed Shiyu's luscious red lips at the door this morning!

Calming his excited emotions, Shen Zhao pushed the control stick and piloted Exia toward the giant scorpion's corpse.

The Plasma Scorpion is dead, but the hidden mission progress hasn't increased yet, meaning the Giant Scorpion's lair is still there.

Even if the hidden mission was destined to fail, he still wanted to clean up the mess.

As for where the Plasma War Scorpion's lair is, you can guess without even thinking—it's definitely in that cave.

The giant scorpion's enormous corpse occupied most of the space in the cave, but fortunately, there were still gaps left that allowed the 18-meter-tall Exia to pass through.

Shen Zhaoxian examined the corpse and found that the giant scorpion had a charred hole that went through both ends, blasted into its back by the Dawn Hammer.

Its shell was pierced in the last attack, greatly reducing its defense.

The second round of precise strikes pierced his entire body, and his internal organs were charred.

He exhausted the last bit of life in his body and died completely when he was halfway through the cave.

After admiring his masterpiece, he piloted the Exia into the cave.

After passing through a tunnel a hundred meters long, we arrived at a huge cave.

It was pitch black all around, so dark you couldn't see your hand in front of your face.

Shen Zhao turned on the searchlight on the surface of the Exia and saw rows of giant white eggs neatly piled on the ground.

He showed no mercy, directly manipulating Exia to raise the GN beam rifle and unleash full firepower on the giant scorpion eggs.

Bang bang bang!

The giant eggs burst open one after another, sending egg liquid flying everywhere.

After destroying all the giant eggs and wiping out the giant scorpion's reproductive ability, the game notification sounded.

"Destroy the nest of the King-level Mist Alien [Plasma War Scorpion], progress of the hidden mission [World Defender] +1, current progress 1/5."

"It's done, call it quits!"

Shen Zhao piloted the Gundam in a cheerful mood and flew away.

With business done, it's time to relax and have fun with the pretty girls.

I wonder what surprise Shi Yu has prepared for him.

Chapter 90: Kasumigaoka Utaha's Surprise, and the Guide to Winning Over Megumi!

After passing the imperial examination, Meng Jiao, a scholar from the Tang Dynasty, used the phrase "riding a swift horse in the spring breeze" to describe his feelings.

Shen Zhao was riding high on his success at this moment.

Besides successfully killing the King-level Mist Alien Plasma Scorpion after a dramatic turn of events, what's more important is that he's looking forward to the surprise Kasumigaoka Utaha has prepared for him.

He's already done the Three Links.

What other tricks can that top-tier anime goddess come up with to play with him?

Filled with anticipation, he drove the Exia at breakneck speed and returned to the mental hospital in less than two minutes.
