Tony was adjusting a holographic projection device, and without looking up, he said:

"This is very important because I am solving an equation that could change the future of humanity."

"More important than whether humanity has a future."

Natasha said it bluntly.

"Hydra is going to take over the world, Tony."

This finally caught Stark's attention.

He put down his tools and turned to face them.

"Hydra? That Nazi organization that Captain America defeated during World War II?"

"They never truly disappeared."

Lin Feng explained.

"They've been lurking inside S.H.I.E.L.D. all along, and now they're going to use Project Insight to eliminate anyone who might pose a threat to them."

Natasha plugged the storage device into Stark's system.

"Here is all the information I obtained from the base, including the list of Hydra members, the true objectives of Project Insight, and the tampered algorithm."

Jarvis immediately projected the data into the air, creating a huge holographic database.

Tony stepped into the projector and quickly scanned the various documents, charts, and code.

"This algorithm..."

Tony frowned.

"It is not designed to identify existing threats, but to predict potential rebels. Based on these parameters, it will target anyone who might oppose Hydra—from individuals with superpowers to highly intelligent scientists, or even ordinary people who simply have the courage to stand up."

He opened a file, and a huge list appeared in the air.

"This is their target list, which contains millions of people."

Tony was scrolling through the list when he suddenly stopped.

“Look, I’m on the list, and you are too, Rogers, Banner, Barton… basically all the Avengers are on the list.”

Lin Feng pointed to a timetable.

"According to the original plan, Project Insight was to start in three days, but after Natasha discovered it, Hydra accelerated the process. It could start at any time now."

Tony walked to the other end of the lab, pressed a button, and the wall rotated, revealing a row of Iron Man suits.

.....

163: Nick Fury is numb!

"Then we need to act immediately. Jarvis, prepare Mark 43."

"Preparing, sir."

The artificial intelligence responded calmly.

"What are your plans?"

"I asked, checking my armor," Tony asked.

"We must prevent the space carrier from taking off."

Natasha said.

“Once they reach their designated altitude and activate their weapon systems, millions of people will die within minutes.”

"We must find Nick Fury first."

Lin Feng added.

“If he weren’t part of Hydra, he could help us from within.”

Tony nodded.

“Jarvis, scan S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters for activity, with particular attention to the Helicarrier’s takeoff and launch preparations.”

"The scan shows frequent activity at the S.H.I.E.L.D. base, sir."

Jarvis responded quickly.

"The space carrier's engines have been started and it appears to be preparing for takeoff. Based on energy readings, it is expected to lift off within an hour."

Tony looked at Natasha and Lin Feng, his eyes flashing with determination.

“Time is running out. I can fly there and try to stop the mothership from taking off from the air. You two need to infiltrate the base, find Fury, and see which side he's on.”

"If Hydra really does control most of S.H.I.E.L.D., we may face serious resistance."

Lin Feng warned.

"Then crush them."

Tony simply stated that the armor began to assemble automatically onto him.

"I will not let a bunch of Nazi remnants destroy the world."

Natasha looked at Tony with a slight smile on her face.

"I knew you would help."

"Don't flatter yourself, Romanov."

Tony's visor closed, and the sound came through the speaker.

"I just don't want anyone to steal my thunder. Besides, if the world is ruled by Hydra, how am I supposed to sell my tech toys?"

Although Tony tried to cover it up with jokes, everyone understood the seriousness of the situation.

The three quickly devised a simple plan: Tony would fly directly to the S.H.I.E.L.D. base to assess the situation from the air and attempt to delay the launch of the Helicarrier.

Lin Feng and Natasha will drive there to try to infiltrate from the inside and find Fury.

"keep in touch."

After Tony finished speaking, he rushed out onto the open balcony of the laboratory.

The Iron Man suit drew a bright arc in the air as it flew towards the S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters.

Lin Feng and Natasha also took immediate action.

They sped along the road leading to S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters.

.

Nick Fury stood in the command center of the S.H.I.E.L.D. base, staring at the huge monitoring screen.

0 ... ....

Three massive space carriers are ready in the hangar below the base.

Hundreds of technicians and agents are working intensively on final checks and preparations.

"Sir, all systems have been checked."

A technician reported.

"The three motherships are ready to take off at any time."

Fury nodded, but his unease grew stronger.

He still hasn't found Natasha, and the investigation of the "Ghost Protocol" shows that the Insight Project's algorithm has indeed been modified, but he can't determine exactly what was changed.

Worse still, he couldn't determine which of the people present might be Hydra agents.

"Colson."

Fury whispered to the agent standing beside him.

....superior.

164: Long live Hydra!

"Any news of Romanov?"

"Not yet, sir."

Coulson also lowered his voice in response.

"But our system detected an anomaly—someone attempted to remotely access the Insight Project's main server."

Fury frowned: "The source?"

"Uncertain, but its technical characteristics are similar to Stark Industries' systems."

This information made Fury even more vigilant.

If Tony Stark got involved in this, the situation might be more complicated than he imagined.

Just then, an alarm suddenly sounded in the communication system.

"Sir."

A security official reported.

"Our radar detected a high-speed moving object approaching the base, and our initial assessment is that it is Iron Man."

Fury turned to the large screen and, sure enough, saw a small red dot rapidly approaching the base.

"What is Stark trying to do?"

He muttered to himself, then raised his voice and gave the order.

"Activate the air defense system, but do not fire. I need to speak with him."

However, at that very moment, another senior official standing beside the control panel—

In reality, they were Hydra agents.

He quietly pressed a hidden button, overriding Fury's command.

"Unauthorized approach detected, air defense system automatically activated,"

The computer's cold voice announced.

Fury immediately realized something was wrong.

"Cancel the air defense system! That's an order!"

But the system did not respond.

On the screen, several anti-aircraft missile launchers had locked onto Tony's location.

Coulson quickly operated the console:

"The system has been reprogrammed, sir, I can't overwrite it!"

Fury looked around and noticed several agents quietly approaching the weapons.

His intuition told him that Hydra's operation had already begun.

"All personnel loyal to S.H.I.E.L.D."

Fury suddenly announced loudly.

"We've been infiltrated. Protect control center!"

Coulson immediately drew his sidearm and stood back-to-back with Fury.

Several loyal agents reacted quickly, but many more drew their weapons and pointed them at Fury and Coulson.

An internal conflict, both expected and sudden, erupted in the command center.

Amid the chaos, a calm voice rang out through the broadcast system.

"Activate the space carrier and immediately execute Operation Insight. Authorization code: Long live Hydra."

Fury recognized the voice as that of Alexander Pierce.

The massive gates of the underground hangar began to open slowly, and the three enormous space carriers started their main engines, preparing for takeoff.
