But looking back, my 'madman-like' state at the time was truly terrifying.

I have a lingering sense of unease.

"So to say……"

Ako glanced thoughtfully at Amamiya.

Is this also... a kind of 'special psychological counseling'?

Although the process was indeed a bit embarrassing, I did learn some basic psychology and it did relieve my psychological stress...

If these basic elements are achieved, then isn't this psychology?

“…I understand, Sensei.”

"Thank you for your guidance."

I felt Ako's gratitude.

Coopation has been improved!

After saying thank you, Ako turned and left in a hurry.

After watching Ako's car drive away from Natsura's residential area, Amamiya realized that it was already late at night and did not continue to go out.

"Let's save our energy for tomorrow's 'tea party for two' with Weihua. Let's rest for today..."

The author's closing remarks for this volume.

First of all—why split the content into volumes here?

As I've mentioned before, it's for the comfort of readers to browse through, and also for the comfort of me to write (drafting in the word processing software).

Okay, so let's start with a simple summary of this volume.

Regarding this volume... my self-assessment is that it has some minor regrets.

I originally planned to write a little further, until the part where Mika and I 'reveal their true feelings' to each other, and then move on to the next volume...

In addition, this volume was delayed for a while due to the impromptu Christmas and pajama storylines...

While I personally feel that the author did write the bond storyline he wanted to write (referring to Yuka's bond), overall, it is still more lacking than complete.

Regarding this book, both average daily subscriptions and new subscriptions are steadily declining, and I personally have experienced several volumes without any signs of recovery... Perhaps it's just that my writing skills are not good enough to deserve more fans and more subscriptions.

Currently, my only advantage seems to be that I update more frequently... relatively speaking.

There was once an idea to reduce quantity and increase quality, but in the end... it was not implemented.

The following is a preview of the content for the next volume —

Volume 2 - Main Story 1.3, The Treaty of Eden.

The cycle of fate.

(Is Laura going to be the female lead? Is it true?)

Laura: Aspires to become the Phantom Thief of Hearts

This volume will touch upon (a small amount of content from the Classic of Mountains and Seas, I suppose...) and may also include content related to the Red Winter.

Leave of absence notice [August 1, 2025]

Because I updated a bunch of chapters in a row, I really ran out of time to work on it, so I'm taking a break today.

...Also, I need to start accumulating drafts depending on the situation.

If I still haven't accumulated a satisfactory amount by tomorrow, I might have to stop tomorrow.

------

Probably that's it.

As for why it's placed in this volume?

Just think of me as someone with OCD, wanting to reach 60 chapters, hmm...

The cycle of fate

Chapter 1 Saintia: I'm going to start adding drama to my own story.

“…Sensei, please open your eyes.”

His vision was spinning, and the world before him was blurry due to dizziness—in a flickering candlelight, Amamiya 'saw' a blonde girl sitting at an antique tea table.

The warm-colored fox ears stood tall; the flickering flame of the candlestick added a touch of alluring turbulence to the warm yellow hue.

Amamiya slowly shook her head and tried to sit up.

He then realized that he seemed to be on a Central European noble bed with delicate sky-blue gold trim, which appeared to be made of some kind of precious wood.

Everything in the room had a hazy, early 19th-century 'déjà vu' feel to it.

As the double vision gradually cleared, Amamiya looked at the blonde girl who was softly calling her name.

"...You who awaken from a long, lingering dream—where are your desires, your aspirations, and what you yearn for...?"

The girl beside the dimly lit tea table rose leisurely and gracefully, her steps swaying like candlelight, and came to Amamiya, who was sitting on the bed.

"My Trickst... Are you still familiar with everything here...?"

Amamiya narrowed her eyes and silently sized up the fox-eared girl, who was wearing a blue and white velvet guard uniform, with one of her fox ears covered by a warning hat. The only thing about her was the incongruity of her appearance, which was a kind of asymmetrical, charming, and cute look.

"...Will your next words be something like 'I was reborn' or 'Everything before was a dream, and this is actually reality' or something like that, a prank?"

“…How could that be? You must be joking.” The serene fox-eared girl pursed her lips lightly. “I don’t want to put myself in danger like ‘last time’.”

She took a half step back, swayed her extra-long sleeves (designed to be like a little ghost, long enough to hide an entire hand), and gave Amamiya a slightly playful bow while lifting her skirt.

Whether it's the way Amamiya is addressed as "My Trickst" or his rather unusual manners, there's no doubt... it's a malicious imitation of Lavenda.

"Welcome... my dear 'My Trickst,' the best man in the world. I love you the most..."

Amamiya followed Seiya to the tea table with lit candles, eager to see what this seemingly unassuming fox-eared girl was up to.

Isn't she afraid that by so boldly imitating Ravenda in her dream, Ravenda might come and grab her through the internet... no, through the dream?

In addition...

How did she do it? How did she manage to pull herself into this dream while being watched by Ravenda?

"Please take a seat, Sensei... no, My Trickst."

Amamiya shrugged slightly and, at Seiya's invitation, sat down across the round table, meeting her gaze in the flickering candlelight.

“Sensei…you must have many questions you want to ask. Now, you are getting closer and closer to the story of the turbulent ‘Wheel of Fortune’…”

"It's time to lift the censorship on some of the information about you..."

With a faint smile in her pale yellow eyes illuminated by the candlelight, Saintia very 'generously' took out a stack of tarot cards and, like a tarot card reader, placed them on the table in front of her in a very common spread - the six-pointed star spread.

Her posture made Amamiya glance at her slightly, and at the same time, she thought of a female fortune teller she used to frequent on the street.

"Sensei, please ask me about something that's on your mind..."

Amamiya watched with great interest as she performed her mysterious, witch-like or mystical act. When he was sure it was time to ask his question, he asked pointedly, "...Aren't you afraid of being 'shut down' by Lavenda for being so blatant?"

Saintia slowly closed her eyes and picked up a cup of black tea from the table.

Without her making any move, the tea, which had seemed to have cooled down, suddenly rippled and then a layer of steam rose up, as if it had been instantly heated to a suitable drinking temperature.

After taking a small sip of her black tea, Shengya put down her cup and then said naturally and gracefully, "There's an old saying in the Classic of Mountains and Seas... 'Learn from the mistakes of those who came before.'"

“Sensei… the ‘dream’ you are in right now is not because I have invaded your dream… but because you have received my call and entered my dream.”

Amamiya understood... So last time, Sera arrived without notice and was intercepted by Ravenda as an intruder.

Now, she sent a 'network invitation', and Amamiya unconsciously accepted it, being pulled into her own world.

In more gamified terms, it's like... last time, Saintia invaded the Red Spirits, but was intercepted by Ravenda, the 'righteous policeman'.

This time, Saintia used the method of 'summoning the Oath Spirit'... or to put it another way, 'pulling the sun' to bring herself into her dream world.

By doing this, Saintia not only bypassed Ravenda's first line of defense to some extent, but also gained a considerable degree of security—after all, if a person in a dream realizes that everything in front of them is a dream, either the dream will end, or it can control its own dream at will.

Perhaps because her experience of being locked up in prison last time was too humiliating, this time Saintia even prepared to 'say goodbye to the Black Crystal' and disconnect herself.

"Unplugging yourself" means waking up immediately and returning to the real world when you realize something is wrong.

The "Farewell to the Black Crystal" is a preemptive measure to prepare for being sent back to Amamiya at any time, allowing oneself to escape Ravenda's accountability.

"All right……"

Amamiya stopped questioning the rationality and safety of Seiya's actions.

He paused for a moment, then asked the question that was currently on his mind.

"Trinity...is the situation worse than I anticipated?"

Saintia did not answer directly, but instead turned over a card from the six-pointed star card spread.

The card prominently features an archangel with two wings, blowing a trumpet.

The mortals below the horn made gestures of worship, opening their arms in an attempt to embrace, or looking up in awe.

[XX. Judgment]

With a slightly languid air, the fox-eared girl combed her hair and turned over the first card, speaking calmly: "This card reveals the end of the journey I have witnessed."

[Trial].

This is a key card that determines whether the Fool perishes or reaches the world.

Will what lies ahead be the gateway to success, called "the world," or true loss and decay? Nothing is certain.

Amamiya's impression of this card is that it was from the Special Extracurricular Activities Club, which once investigated shadow time and shadows.

A self-proclaimed special investigation team investigating the truth behind late-night television.

And then there's Sae Niijima, the prosecutor in the interrogation room who changed Amamiya's fate, and in doing so, her own, through their conversation in the interrogation room.

"……so."

'Judgment' symbolizes a critical juncture—Saintia revealed this card, meaning that the Holy Trinity is currently at a terrible 'critical juncture'.

Staring intently at the fox-eared girl sitting across the table, Amamiya paused briefly before asking her second question: "What would happen if I didn't interfere?"

Saintia slightly moved away from her seat and leaned over to reveal the card closest to Amamiya.

Thunder and raindrops seemed to cut through the deep night outside the window, and the candlelight flickered with unusually large amplitude for a moment, making one think that it would go out at any moment.

"This card reveals the disastrous ending I foresee."

The card that was revealed depicted a tower that had been struck by lightning and was half-collapsed.
