Nobita's Time Heist

Amidst a series of clicking, mechanical vibrations, countless bluish-purple arms shot out from the vase, each grasping a chess piece. The chessboard, which had been unfolded by the vase's base, folded and retracted within seconds. Specifically designed to handle this situation, the high-end Demon God Chess set possessed a memory function; the outcome of the game was temporarily "stored" inside the vase, all the winning and losing conditions remaining unchanged. When it was opened again, not even the position of a single piece would be off.
With nothing to obstruct his view, he saw the tree's smile hidden beneath its hood—like a flower in early spring, radiating warmth from the boundless spring sunshine.
However, his innate, powerful intuition told him that those emerald eyes were already flashing with wariness towards him.
“Once the bet in the Demon God Chess game is made, it’s absolute; no one can go back on their word. If one party makes the agreement but ultimately fails to fulfill it, it will be seen as deceiving the ‘God’ and will be severely punished. To avoid putting you in a difficult position, I’m asking this question beforehand,” Muton said in a deep voice. “Your Holiness…”
"Do you really know 'Nobita's' secret?"
“I do know.” Tree didn’t hesitate for a second, her smile unchanged, looking directly into Mourton’s golden eyes.
Sigrún has taught at the Iceland University of the Arts as a part-time lecturer since and was Dean of the Department of Fine Art from -. Myoton Nobi Chiola is a super baby created by Nobita using the "New Human Creation Machine".
He and Nobita have no direct blood relation; strictly speaking, they are creator and created, and the materials used to create him are incredibly bizarre. Soap, nails, pencils, wood… all sorts of incomprehensible things are put together. Nobita even got Shizuka to contribute some of the money (for which he got slapped). It's unclear why Doraemon put such a dangerous gadget in Nobita's room, but after painstakingly gathering the materials and dumping them all in, an extremely dangerous new human being, capable of even contending with the armies of the future world, was quietly born in the technologically backward 21st century.
By the time Doraemon found out about this, it was too late.
Doraemon, from the 22nd century, knew very well how dangerous this thing was. Therefore, upon seeing it for the first time, he categorized this new life as an "object" that had to be destroyed. Sensing his hostility, and driven by survival instinct, Müton used his telekinesis to disarm it and tossed it aside.
Telekinesis, teleportation, X-ray vision, factor decomposition, mind reading, force field shields… a newborn baby awakened so many superpowers in less than thirty minutes. Doraemon, unwilling to give up, tried several times to eliminate him using future gadgets. In the process of this confrontation, Multon's intelligence was unknowingly enhanced. He became increasingly intelligent and better able to understand human nature.
Even with the technological level of the 21st century, even if the entire nation were to mobilize its resources, it might not be able to defeat this entirely new human. A terrifying scene, no less terrifying than a science fiction disaster movie, is about to unfold!
The interesting thing is that Nobita and Shizuka are the two people involved.
They didn't treat Müton as an outcast because of his terrifying power. On the contrary, Nobita and Shizuka patiently and gently gave him the meticulous care of parents to this life they had created. Although they were both just children at the time, it was this pure and innocent kindness that changed Müton's view of the human race.
Münton could read minds, so he was able to tell that the two men's feelings for him were completely genuine and not feigned.
"So, there are people like this among humans..." he exclaimed from the bottom of his heart.
Love can change everything.
The Münton that Hyakume saw in the early days stubbornly believed in the existence of "love" in the universe, which could even be described as somewhat naive. This expectation of goodness actually stemmed entirely from Nobita and Shizuka's teachings. Only children who are loved will grow up to understand how to love others.
But Mutton was too clever.
He was acutely aware of the consequences of remaining on Earth—given the level of civilization this planet displayed, it was utterly incapable of accepting someone like himself. No matter how much he longed to live with these two people, he had to leave, and the sooner the better. Disappearing completely before things were exposed, without causing them any trouble, was the best way he could repay them!
After saying goodbye, the baby, less than 24 hours old, vanished like a burst of fireworks, disappearing into the vast universe. He firmly believed that in the boundless cosmos, there would surely be companions who would accept him, and that there would be people like Nobita and Shizuka, worthy of his love!
"Münton" is the name Nobita gave him. In order not to forget his father from his distant hometown, Münton chose to take his surname.
He is Nobita and Shizuka's eldest son.
Chapter 335: Don't tarnish your father's name
There are always people more capable than us, and there are always higher realms to explore. The universe is teeming with life, and perhaps even thriving civilizations have emerged from it—a fact that Muton knew from a very young age. His journey began precisely on this premise.
But what really puzzled him was that the higher he went, the more people with the same surname "Nobi" would pop up from time to time.
Moreover, without exception, they were all high-ranking officials. This surname was not common and seemed to have nothing to do with family or blood ties; it was simply a personal choice. According to his observation, these guys with the surname Nobi were completely unrelated, some even born tens of thousands of light-years apart, theoretically making it impossible for them to have any connection.
Just like the High Priest sitting opposite him right now, a true Green Star native (life on this planet evolved from plants). He added Nobita to his name to commemorate Nobita's existence, but why did he do that?
Incomprehensible.
Because he couldn't understand it, this was something he absolutely had to figure out.
"And you? [The Astonished Eye Master]?" Tree uttered the name that appeared on the bounty poster when Muton was still a space pirate. "And where does the 'Nobita' in your name come from?"
“This is my father’s surname,” Multon replied without changing his expression.
“I see… Father…” Tree pondered for a moment, his gaze lingering on him briefly. An extremely gentle magical energy flowed through his body. Although he meant no harm, Multon still felt very uneasy. His extraordinary intuition allowed him to easily sense this kind of spying, and he could even use reverse analysis to discern what kind of information the other party was trying to obtain.
For example, right now, this great pope is interpreting his own genetic makeup.
"Curiosity is a powerful tool for the development of civilization. Any individual can be curious, and I can certainly understand that." He withdrew his gaze and said in a gentle tone, "Speaking of which, there are quite a few things I'm curious about about you."
"Here, I have recorded the genetic patterns of the vast majority of races in the known universe. Through comparison, I discovered something very interesting... Your genetic pattern contains a large number of traces of 'human modification,' which, simply put, shows many benign positive evolutionary processes. Presumably, this is the source of your proud power?"
The tree looked at him with a hint of amusement. "You are not a life form created by the [Sower], but an artificial entity independent of the ecosystem. How can someone like you still have the concept of 'father'?"
"And who is this father of yours?"
……
"drop--!!"
Some sharp alarm sounds came through. Muton paused for a moment, then used his finger to open his personal space and took out the terminal receiver that the Universe had provided for them.
From the outside, it has a metallic color, like a metal brick made by stacking countless high-tech components together, basically covering all imaginable needs.
It contains a massive built-in database. It can analyze everything from identifying the name of any flower on any planet within the Union's territory to receiving and sending long-membrane communications spanning tens of thousands of light-years. However, given Mütton's solitary nature, he rarely had the opportunity to use it, using it primarily as a telephone for communication with superiors.
At this moment, the message popping up from the terminal showed five bright, prominent characters.
Platinum Recruitment Order
"As expected of you, your premonition is as accurate as ever." Tree naturally saw those words as well and couldn't help but chuckle. "Only the seven elder civilizations that actually control the Universe Federation... are qualified to issue the Platinum Summoning Order, right?"
"Could you please tell me which party assigned this task?"
Muton rolled his eyes at him, not bothering to hide anything, and switched to language mode directly.
A cool, clear female voice repeated the message.
"A Platinum Summoning Order is hereby issued to Muton Nobi Chiora, the Ninth Nebula War God, who is affiliated with the Known Universe Pan-Civilization Joint Mediation Center and has no subordinate civilization. According to the 'Nebula War God Compliance Management Law,' the Nebula War God is obligated to respond to the summoning order during his term of office. Please proceed to Eve Star in the Asuka Galaxy within three astronomical hours."
The content is very formulaic, and it once again emphasizes the relationship between power and obligation.
The tree's expression changed slightly.
"Eve Star... is the home planet of [Meccatobia]! It could actually be them?"
There are seven civilizations that actually control the Universe Alliance, and they are known as the "Seven Elders" in the broader civilization sphere. However, even among these seven civilizations, there are differences in strength, and their overall strength determines their respective voices when discussing various matters and dividing established interests.
Although no official statement has ever been issued, over the years, people have long since figured out the subtle line between the elder civilizations, dividing them into the "Upper Three Pavilions" and the "Lower Four Pavilions." In making various decisions, the three civilizations of the Upper Three Pavilions often wield the power to make the final decision. Conversely, if they remain silent, it is an implicit expression of opposition.
The tree belongs to the Green Star, which is also one of the Seven Elder Civilizations and one of the four civilizations in the Lower Four Pavilions.
Mecca Tobias, which issued the summons to Mutton, is a true member of the Upper Three Kingdoms. In the eyes of some peripheral civilizations within the broader cultural sphere, even a single hair from Mutton is thicker than their thigh, making them practically indistinguishable from gods.
From this small transfer order, Shu sensed an undercurrent surging beneath the calm surface.
Why issue the conscription order at this particular time? What could be the reason?
Mecca Tobias also has its own Nebula War God, possessing equally formidable comprehensive combat capabilities. However, they chose to recruit Muton, who has no affiliation or stance. Does this indicate that the mission they are about to assign him is a dangerous one that cannot be undertaken from an official perspective, necessitating the use of an amateur?
……
"I really envy you. You're the white glove of the Universe, always maintaining an impeccable and noble demeanor. With Green Star backing you up, those guys wouldn't dare to order you around so easily, right? It's different for someone like me who's not affiliated with anyone. All the dirty work and side jobs are done by me."
Muton shook his head, stood up, flicked his red robe in a dashing arc, and said in a deep voice, "Since there are orders from above, I won't stay here any longer. Let's put the outcome of our battle aside for next time."
He extended two fingers, pressed them against his temples, took a deep breath, and suddenly expanded his senses outwards!
“Buzz——!”
A resonant sound came, and the two horns on his forehead briefly lit up. In the span of a single breath, Muton's consciousness traversed an immeasurably vast distance, beyond astronomical physical units, precisely pinpointing the location of the capital of the Meccatobia civilization on the planet Eve in the Flying Bird Galaxy.
"Mülton".
Before leaving, Tree slowly rose and called his name, seemingly with a deeper meaning. "The power structure of the Universe Federation is intricate and complex, making it perhaps a little difficult for you to trust me, a Green Star native. I just want to tell you that every civilization has its hidden, shadowy side, and Mecca-Tobias is no exception..."
Be careful in everything you do, and protect yourself.
"Don't tarnish your father's name."
Chapter 336: Lilulu
"An interspatial mass transfer has been detected... Comparing gene samples, please wait..."
"Identity confirmed: Muton Nobi Chiola. Please present your identification."
Muton stared speechlessly at the machine life form blocking his path—if he had to make a comparison, she was like a humanoid angel, with a head, torso, and limbs indistinguishable from a human, and exquisite, translucent white skin. She had soft, white wings on her back and wore a flawless white gown, like that of a prophet from mythology. At first glance, she appeared flawless, embodying the perfection of an artificial creation.
Artificial Angels—that's what they supposedly call themselves—are numerous in the civilized capital of Meccatobia. All their actions are thought out and judged by the intricate circuits of Zhengzi's brain, making human error virtually impossible. Similarly, they cannot be bought, deceived, or misunderstood in any way; all the weaknesses exhibited by carbon-based life forms are nowhere to be found in them. Müton had long felt that Meccatobia was like a giant metal clock, composed of countless interlocking parts that functioned in an orderly fashion. Any individual here was merely a cog in the machine; destroying one would simply be replaced by another, thus rendering the destruction meaningless.
He projected the Platinum Summoning Order electronically. The artificial angel in front of him glanced at it, and the optical mirror in its pupils slightly zoomed in and out, confirming its authenticity.
"The self-inspection and rejection system has been fully shut down, as scheduled, Lieutenant General Multon, you have 0.27 astronomical hours."
"Her Majesty the Queen is waiting."
Sigrún has taught at the Iceland University of the Arts as a part-time lecturer since and was Dean of the Department of Fine Art from -. In – she held a research position at Reykjavík Art Museum focusing on the role of women in Icelandic art. She studied fine art at the Icelandic College of Arts and Crafts and at Pratt Institute, New York, and holds BA and MA degrees in art history and philosophy from the University of Iceland. Sigrún lives and works in Iceland.
Security locks opened one after another, and Muton walked on calmly. This was his first time stepping into the capital of the Mecca-Tobias civilization, and even with all his experience, he couldn't suppress his curiosity. If he had to use a metaphor, Muton felt that this place didn't resemble a palace at all, but rather the interior of a circuit board. It was entirely constructed of geometric shapes, with countless dark lead-colored pipes extending in straight lines and curves, their destinations unknown, and the contents of which were a mystery.
Deep within this palace constructed of pure reason, upon opening the last door, Mütton met one of the seven who stood at the pinnacle of power in the Universe, the supreme leader of the Mecca-Tobia civilization.
Lilulu Mai Oriva.
In this incredibly dark room, there were no superfluous decorations or furnishings.
A square table, a chair, and a virtual interactive interface displaying a vast amount of information are all that a person in a position of power needs.
She reclined comfortably in the armchair, the fluffy chair behind her shifting like water taking shape to enhance her sensory experience. The virtual interface before her was flooded with information that nearly overwhelmed her. From the front, Muton couldn't make out the girl's face, only a few strands of long, flowing pink hair, like cotton wool, gently cascading onto the cold, square-shaped floor.
At the awarding ceremony for the Nebula War God, he had met six leaders of civilizations. At that time, Lilulu was dressed in highly ceremonial attire, a far cry from her current aura. So much so that when they met again, he didn't recognize her for a moment, wondering how a little brat had managed to wander into the supreme leader's office.
When she met him, the girl didn't deliberately turn off the interface in front of her, so Muton could see a lot of confidential information on it. Countless reports came in like snowflakes, and after many rounds of rigorous screening, the version that was finally presented to her was a version that had been simplified countless times.
This planet is undergoing development and construction, requiring funding from the Space Federation; that planet experienced a power shift, a violent coup, and the use of weapons outside of humanitarian security agreements, resulting in over a hundred million casualties; a civilization on another planet is researching biological weapons, but accidentally went too far, mixing everyone together; there are trade frictions between civilizations; interstellar pirates roaming the borders stumbled upon the previous interstellar battlefield and picked up extremely dangerous weapons… All sorts of situations, which would be nothing short of a life-or-death crisis for any civilization, are merely mundane text on the girl's screen.
"Hmm...really...there's never enough time to get things done." Lilulu stretched, her tone somewhat languid, which puzzled Muton even more. Logically speaking, her skeletal structure was made of high-density alloy, so the wear and tear should be much slower than that of the human body, and she shouldn't have any concept of "fatigue" or "pain" at all.
Is she a sentient being, or a machine that meticulously mimics biological behavior?
The answer to the question is no longer important.
“I’m so sorry to have ruined your vacation… As you can see, there’s a mountain of things to deal with.” The optical lenses in Lilulu’s eyes were similar to those of humans, a deep emerald green like a lake. When she swept her gaze over him, Muton felt a strange sensation. He was almost certain that just a moment ago, she had been trying to read his mind by interpreting his brainwaves to probe his inner thoughts.
The next steps must be taken with greater care and caution.
“This is my duty,” Muton said in a deep voice. “From the moment I put on this red robe, I was prepared to accept it.”
"..." Lilulu smiled meaningfully, looking at him as if she had already analyzed him from the inside out.
"Among the twelve active Nebula War Gods, you are the only one who is 'unaffiliated' and was selected through the Great Conscription. Because of this, many inconvenient tasks are assigned to you. The more important the matter, the easier it is for our statements to be misinterpreted by those with ulterior motives, which is almost inevitable."
"I don't like talking about politics with others either; it only complicates simple things... Ha... It's complicated enough as it is, isn't it?"
She waved her hand, erasing the massive amount of reports, extinguishing even the faintest glimmer of light, and plunging the room back into pure darkness. Lilulu reveled in this darkness, stretching her slender body freely like a human, as if she were a recluse who hadn't left the house for months, her hair now trailing on the ground.
"Before becoming the Nebula God of War, you were a pirate, weren't you?"
“I used to be the first mate of the Death Star Pirate Crew.” Mülton didn’t know why she was bringing this up at this time, but she answered honestly nonetheless. “However, after that, our pirate crew disbanded…”
“‘That’,” Lilulu said with a smile, “refers to what happened after you were taken to the trial and executed on your ship, right?”
……
"And before that?"
"Where were you from before you became a space pirate?"
Chapter 336: Once on the scale, even a thousand pounds couldn't be held down.
The nature of this question is completely different when it comes from the top leaders of the Universe.
Mülton began to think rapidly. The answer to this question was something the Space Federation couldn't easily conceal; if they wanted to know, they could find out almost immediately. She had only asked this question to test the extent of her loyalty. From this, it could be deduced that the upcoming mission must be connected to Earth in some way.
why?
Why would a civilization that isn't even qualified to be included in the broader civilization sphere, and can't even leave its own star system, need the personal intervention of its elder civilization leader? What's the story behind this?
Whatever the answer, the gap between the two sides is simply too vast. With the resources Mecca Tobias possesses, whether their intentions towards Earth are benevolent or malevolent, they could easily create a crushing force, destroying everything on that pristine planet. Nobita, Shizuka, and everyone else they know… all live on that planet! To prevent the situation from escalating to its worst possible point, the best choice now is to proactively take on this task. At least they can control the situation for now, and perhaps then have room to maneuver regarding subsequent decisions!
In less than a second, Müton understood everything and revealed his origins without reservation. He explained how he was created, how he came to understand his relationship with Earth, and how he decided to travel to space to find companions. Lilulu seemed satisfied with the answer, nodding slightly and relaxing her posture, casually placing her legs on the desk.
"Thank you for your frankness, Lieutenant General Multon. Now I can confidently entrust the task to you. Plus, you can take the opportunity to visit your hometown. It's a good assignment, isn't it?"
Judging from her tone, it seemed like she was just going back to her hometown for a business trip and staying for a few days to visit relatives.
However, when Lilulu snapped her fingers, what was projected before Muton's eyes was a coordinate system of unparalleled military precision—precise enough to launch a long-range strike at any moment—and a star map detailed enough to deploy a large army and directly descend to the planet's atmosphere.
These are the coordinates and location of Earth.
"The President is really something, always dumping the most troublesome tasks on us in Mecca and Tobias. Things like race migrations, declarations of war, civilization qualification screenings, and even the infamous 'extermination order'—it all comes out through our system. It's so unfair... That little girl on Green Star always gets the job of getting nicer people out there." She pouted, complaining like a student complaining about a teacher's favoritism.
If it weren't for the frightening connotations of these words, it would be easy for people to misunderstand.
"However, that's precisely why we need to exercise even more restraint in our own actions. If I send one of our own people from Meccatobia to investigate, and the outside world finds out, what will they think of the existence of that planet? Don't you think so?"
"Her Majesty the Queen is wise and far-sighted, which is admirable."
