Nobita's Time Heist

"drink--!"
Enraged, King Hundred Eyes brandished his sword like an invincible giant from mythology, severing the two snake heads. The giant snake's heads rolled off and crashed to the ground, blood pooling into small puddles. Blood gushed from the two severed points like springs, a scene resembling an R-rated B-movie, drawing stares from the onlookers hiding above.
Hundred-Eyed King knew very well that his opponent's vitality was extraordinary; even a severed head would heal in a few dozen seconds. Therefore, he didn't intend to give his opponent any time to recover. While continuing to suppress him with his eye-killing technique, he also charged forward with his sword.
He swung the massive black sword, as if he had found the knack, and in a few moves, he severed the heads of the Yamata no Orochi one by one. Heads were his trump card against all enemies; each head he lost reduced his fighting strength. The Yamata no Orochi tried to bite with its teeth, but unlike before, this time it felt as if it had bitten into an unshakeable object—its fangs could pierce flesh, but could not crush the skeleton.
The last remaining head was curled up, not moving closer, but lowering its center of gravity and hissing, still like a venomous snake waiting for its chance.
“I remember now, it seems to be like this in mythology... Someone gets you drunk with several jars of wine, then takes out a sword and cuts off all eight of your heads, and you die. So it seems you are not immortal. If all your heads are gone, you will inevitably die.”
With the outcome seemingly decided, the Hundred-Eyed King's ingrained arrogance resurfaced. He deliberately left one head intact, intending to deliver a final sarcastic remark to vent his frustration before sending this centuries-old demon to his doom.
“This time, you didn’t drink a drop of alcohol, yet you’re much more drunk than before. Do you really think these few insignificant humans could defeat me? They’re just like you, unable to even protect their own world!” He shook his massive head and sighed, “If I had continued lying there, pretending to be a silent, immovable mountain, I would never have come to this. At least, no matter how bad things got, I could still have kept my life.”
Is there anything in this world more important than one's own life?
……
"Ah……"
The black sword was already pressed against the throat of the last snake head, where the scales were very thin. With just one strike, the pillar-like neck could be severed.
But what the great demon threw back at him was still a disdainful sneer.
"I heard that you were once a pirate in the sky, but you were forced to wander to this land because you were being pursued by the government army. Is that true?"
The Hundred-Eyed King's expression changed slightly, but he did not answer. He tightened his grip on the sword, drawing a deep bloody gash on the snake's neck.
"I advise you not to waste your energy. Even if you muster all your strength, go back to your own stage. With your narrow-mindedness, you might just die there next time."
"...What!?" These words were like a knife to the heart, and King Hundred Eyes was furious. He regretted not killing him with a single sword strike earlier, which had given him the opportunity to destroy his own spirit.
Despite sleeping for centuries, the serpent's understanding of human nature remained sharp. He knew exactly what to say to deliver the fatal blow to this arrogant fellow. Having said those words, the Hundred-Eyed King found it difficult to act, for killing him now would feel like a display of impotent rage. Although no one witnessed it, he couldn't overcome this mental hurdle—the serpent had a keen eye on his deepest pride.
"Because you're too afraid of dying."
Even with only its head remaining, the Yamata no Orochi still casually taunted, "No matter where the sea is, it is a stage for the brave."
“There is no place for a coward like you there.”
Chapter 323: If there are no weaknesses, then create them.
Often, the string of reason snaps in an instant.
Most sports involve intense physical contact and require a clear head. Whether it's football, basketball, rugby, or even boxing and MMA, despite the blood and gore on the field, true fighters remain remarkably calm as the fight progresses. They wait for their opponent's opening, quickly assess the situation, and determine the best techniques to exploit it and deliver a decisive blow, minimizing energy expenditure. Rushing into a reckless, impulsive attack will only expose weaknesses that their opponent can exploit, leading to a quick defeat.
Logically speaking, someone at their level shouldn't make such a basic mistake. Back in the Age of Exploration, even King Hundred Eyes would have been more restrained.
But on this planet, everything was different. He was a phoenix fallen into a chicken coop, and he looked down on the flock of chickens on this backward planet. His inherent arrogance was aroused. Even though he was a loser in the starry sky, he transformed into an invincible demon king on Earth. This huge contrast in status further fueled his arrogant nature, and he never truly cared about any Earthling.
The serpent provoked him with words, and he immediately took the bait, never imagining that these words might be part of a scheme.
……
Driven to the brink of rage, his movements became increasingly violent. He swung his black sword high, intending to sever the head like an executioner. At that moment, this desire overwhelmed all other thoughts; consumed by rage, he revealed a vulnerability, completely unguarded against the outside world.

"【Weakness-Making Machine】—!!"
(Weakness Creation Machine: A machine specifically designed to create weaknesses for people. Simply write the person's name and the customized weakness on the two blackboards on the machine, press the button, and it will take effect. It's one of the gadgets used for pranks in the future world. In the daily life episode, to make the usually fearless Gian afraid, Nobita customized the strange weakness of "circular phobia" for him. In the end, the trick was exposed, and Gian was scared away by Nobita's glasses and Doraemon's round head.)
Under the deliberate strategy of arrogance, Nobita finally played his last card. With a flourish of his pen, he wrote "All of Hundred-Eyed King's fake eyes" on the left blackboard of the machine, and "Sunlight" on the right. The moment he pressed the button, a fatal weakness that even Hundred-Eyed King himself was unaware of was quietly created.
"Alright, Gian—!"
No need to shout so loudly; Fat Tiger, having already devised his battle plan, had donned the "Best Pitcher's Hat" and hurled the "Daylight Lantern" with all his might. The unassuming paper lantern wobbled as it flew towards Hundred-Eyed King before finally catching his eye.
The next moment, the magnifying beam of the magnifying lamp shone precisely on the daylight lamp.
Multiple times the volume, multiple times the sunlight.
In the demon realm, where there are no celestial bodies, this was the first time the Hundred-Eyed King had felt such intense sunlight, and he was initially surprised. Because the light emitted by the daylight lamp was identical in composition to real sunlight, he was very curious about what was inside the lantern.
But within seconds, all his eyes began to sting unbearably. Strictly speaking, he didn't have a physical body; all physical troubles and ailments were irrelevant to him. Therefore, when the sunlight hit him, he hesitated, unable to discern the cause of this sudden discomfort. It felt as if all his eyes were being pricked by needles; his pupils trembled, and tears involuntarily welled up.
"Damn it, another trap... Nobita..."
He instinctively raised his hand to cover his eyes, but because there were so many eyes, he didn't know which one to cover. Even if the Hundred-Eyed King was slow-witted, he realized what was happening. He had traveled through the starry sky and passed by many stars, inevitably being exposed to their light, but he had never experienced such a rejection reaction before. That human must have used some strange tool to tamper with him, giving him the weakness of being afraid of sunlight.
Instinctively, facing the blinding sunlight, he closed his eyes one by one.
Except for the one that's the only one.
"??!" In a split second, Hyakume realized the power of this move—Nobita had exploited his instinctive reaction as a living being.
A battle-hardened warrior would never reveal such a weakness. Through years of training, a creature can overcome its physiological responses, remaining open-eyed even after being punched in the face. However, while the Hundred-Eyed King loved close combat, he was essentially a mage, possessing remarkably weak control over his senses.
This also gave Nobita the opportunity to scheme against him.
All his eyes were closed, so the remaining one was naturally his "third eye".
"Oops!"
Realizing something was wrong, he tried to close his eye, but suddenly a strange, bright red line drew a gleaming circle over his carefully concealed eye. Like Achilles' heel, it became a well-known fatal weakness.
"What the hell is this thing, how..." He tried to liquefy part of his body to cover the red circle, but it was no use. It was as if the two things were not on the same layer at all; no matter how he tried, he couldn't cover it up even a little bit.
……
"Seriously, Doraemon has such useless gadgets?" Suneo put down the [Doodle Pen] in his hand (which allows you to doodle anywhere by pointing the drawing board at a target; it played a key role in Nobita's birthday special, "Nobita in My Heart," changing Nobita's zero-score test paper in his dream into a hundred-score one), and said with some helplessness, "But, such a useless gadget can actually be made to work... that's what makes Nobita so amazing."
"ah----!!!"
Enraged by the scheme, the Hundred-Eyed King roared. He swung his sword, cleaving the floating White Lantern in two. But even so, his fatal weakness was exposed—an eye located in his lower ribs. If it weren't for this particular fighting style, it would have been very difficult to spot among so many eyes. However, once it was circled, Nobita and his friends noticed the difference in this eye.
Other prosthetic eyes all have horizontal pupils, which are very similar to human eyes, densely packed together, making them uncomfortable.
This particular eye, however, has a vertical pupil, exuding an imposing aura, and its pupil displays a wondrous seven-colored hue. It resembles gasoline spilled on the ground, dampened by rain, creating a vibrant tapestry of colors reminiscent of magnificent nebulae.
"Alright, everyone, we've finally made it this far."
Nobita took out the [Triple Time Plaster] and gently applied it to the snake's head beneath him.
Tick.
The sound of a clock starting to tick.
As the Yamata no Orochi was a single entity, the other seven severed heads began to regenerate at three times the speed. In just a few seconds, all the wounds had been completely healed, and the Orochi once again raised its head, looking around and staring intently at the marked eye.
"Next... let's each figure out a way to target his weaknesses!"
Chapter 324: The Magic Rope
With his weakness exposed, the balance of power shifted instantly. In order to defend against this eye that could be fatal with a single blow, King Hundred Eyes had no choice but to adopt a conservative strategy and retreat continuously.
Unfortunately, this was an endless plain with no cover whatsoever, and he had no idea where to retreat. His eye was exposed and completely unprotected; if even one attack hit, he would be completely incapacitated.
The Creator is fair, bestowing upon the Sky-Eye Clan an almost inexhaustible supply of magic, a body capable of free transformation, and immune to most attacks. Naturally, this also imposes limitations. This eye, connecting to the multiverse, is also their most fatal weakness. Even the slightest damage to it means death for them.
This restrictive fighting style gave Nobita hope.
The expanded Saviors Five set out again. Suneo, Shizuka, and Gian were all highly skilled fliers, each carrying a pouch, circling around King Hyakume, waiting for the opportune moment to deliver a fatal blow. Narniadis, from a magical civilization, summoned their flying carpet, allowing the rest of them, including Kosuke who hadn't fully recovered from her exhaustion, to sit on it. With her there, at least their safety was guaranteed.
Hargunda, seated with an air of authority, sat sideways on his old broom, hovering high in the sky, calmly observing the battle. As an immortal who had experienced countless battles, he knew very well that everything had reached its most crucial moment. Victory or defeat would be decided in the next ten minutes.
We are now very close to defeating this great demon from outer space!
Sigrún has taught at the Iceland University of the Arts as a part-time lecturer since and was Dean of the Department of Fine Art from -. In – she held a research position at Reykjavík Art Museum focusing on the role of women in Icelandic art. She studied fine art at the Icelandic College of Arts and Crafts and at Pratt Institute, New York, and holds BA and MA degrees in art history and philosophy from the University of Iceland. Sigrún lives and works in Iceland.
"boom----!!"
The wind howled past his ears, ruffling his black sideburns. The bamboo dragonfly's rotation speed had reached the threshold that the prop itself could withstand. With nearly ten years of flying experience, Nobita effortlessly stretched out his body, dodging the deadly gazes unleashed by tens of thousands of eyes simultaneously.
In truth, they were all already enchanted by Hargunda's dispelling magic; even if they took the hit head-on, they probably wouldn't be seriously injured. Their current evasion was purely for safety. He had complete trust in his companions behind him, which was why he dared to venture alone into the enemy's territory to destroy the crystal.
At this stage, both sides had already revealed their intentions. Nobita made no attempt to hide his strategic intent, and with a kick in mid-air, he accelerated and flew towards his lower ribs.
"Nobita!"
Narniadis, riding on a flying carpet, took out an object, swung his arm, and threw it with great force. However, because he threw it with too much force, it just grazed past Nobita. But his reaction was equally quick. He took out the "Free-Fish Rod" from his pocket, flicked it gently, and the suction cup-shaped fishhook flew away on its own, catching the prey steadily and delivering it to Nobita's hand.
Upon first touch, it felt light and smooth, and judging from the feel, it should be a scroll. Looking closer at the packaging, even Nobita's voice would immediately perk up with excitement. It was like being in a foreign land and suddenly seeing a familiar old friend.
"The Demon World Chronicles?"
"Have you forgotten? I wrote it!" Narniadis's tone was somewhat smug. "You killed Demaio with my silver darts, didn't you? I had Xiaoshan create many more using the [Replication Mirror]. Don't be shy, use them as much as you like!"
Da Xiong paused for a moment, then suddenly realized: That's right, how come none of them thought of that back then? Silver darts are precious strategic resources, but as long as we use the replication mirror, can't we just replicate them infinitely? Why do we have to be so stingy like we were at the end?
As the scroll unfurled, sure enough, two rows of silver darts slowly emerged from the book, giving him a satisfying feeling of having plenty of ammunition. He spun around in the air, effortlessly dodging several black branch swords flying towards him, and then, with a twist of his body, hurled a mithril dart.
"Magnifying lamp—!!"
Most bosses have fallen victim to this combo attack; the Bull Demon King, Daimao, Odorom… most died from it. But Nobita had already used it once, the enlarged silver sword piercing the body of Hundred-Eyed King, making him wary of things that suddenly grow larger. Tens of thousands of eyes were watching Nobita's every move; when he threw his darts, Hundred-Eyed King had already become alert.
He could already sense that the material of this dart was very similar to that of the sword. Perhaps only the purity was different, but without a doubt, they were both the legendary material mithril.
Danger!
"Boom--!"
As expected of the artifact that sent Daimao flying with a single blow, the silver dart's penetrating power was even stronger than anticipated.
Despite his outstretched hand to block, his entire right arm was pierced, the tip embedding itself into his body. At the last moment, the Hundred-Eyed King moved his most crucial eye to another location, sacrificing his entire right hand to avoid the attack.
However, he didn't even have time to feel relieved, because no matter how he changed positions, the conspicuous red circle was like a persistent, intractable disease that couldn't be eliminated. The reason Nobita and his friends were flying around his body was so that they could spot the red circle at any time.
"Attention, everyone, attention!" Xiao Fu's voice rang out through the [Adventurer's Handkerchief]. "His eyes have been transferred to his shoulders, repeat, his eyes have been transferred to..."
"Damn humans!!"
"boom------"
Amidst his angry curses, King Hundred Eyes swung his black sword once more, cleaving the suspended lantern in two amidst the intense wind pressure. The massive blade, after slicing through the lantern, caught a few inches of flame as it emerged from the other side. Having eliminated this huge weak point hanging overhead, he finally breathed a sigh of relief. All eyes turned simultaneously, quickly pinpointing the source of the alarm. Suneo, terrified, turned pale and, without a moment's hesitation, began to flee.
"Yes, that fortress, you built it to deal with me, didn't you? Clearly... such a coward... how dare he oppose me?!"
It's hard to understand his feelings at this moment. Perhaps his excessive arrogance makes it impossible for him to accept the inevitable defeat. King Hyakume, consumed by rage, swung his greatsword, abandoning Nobita, who still wielded the throwing stars and posed the greatest threat, and instead slashed at Suneo, who was fleeing.
The forty-meter-long sword was raised high, and when it came down, the resulting wind pressure was enough to slice through the clouds. Before the sword even arrived, the shockwave had already hit, almost blowing the bamboo dragonfly on Xiaofu's head away.
"You've got it wrong! There are so many people, why are they coming for me? What's going on here... Mom—!!"
"when----!!!"
Sharp objects collided. A powerful shockwave spread outwards, forming an impact no less than a hurricane, which swept away Suneo's small body along with it. Just as a bamboo copter can hardly fly in a blast, Nobita couldn't get close to such a powerful shockwave. He could only squint his eyes to see what kind of gadget had blocked such a world-shaking sword strike for him.
It was a huge round shield, but upon closer inspection, it turned out to be made of an exceptionally long rope, coiled up like a mosquito coil.
"【Magic Rope】?"
Chapter 325: The Deadly Silver
(The Magic Rope: As the name suggests, it's a red rope that can extend infinitely. It's usually stored in a bottle, but it comes out when someone blows a flute. You can ask it to do anything; it's incredibly intelligent. When Nobita's parents had to go on a long trip, and Doraemon also had to return to the future, he used this gadget to take care of Nobita. The Magic Rope can handle everything from housework and cooking to playing games, and it's exceptionally understanding. Nobita had a very good impression of this gadget, and with its help, he had a great time playing with his friends in town for an entire afternoon—one of the few times in the daily episodes that they didn't go too far.)
(It's worth mentioning that, because he was worried about Nobita, Doraemon changed his schedule and went home early. He thought Nobita would be lonely and cry alone, but actually, Nobita was playing Othello with the magic rope. Aside from not being able to speak, this gadget is perfectly capable of handling most of the "caregiving" tasks.)
"……what?"
If this were a manga, three question marks would probably pop up above Hundred-Eyed King's head. He couldn't understand why, after fighting Nobita, one thing after another seemed to distort his worldview. And what was this rope made of? How could it be so hard as to withstand his slash head-on without sustaining any damage?
Without wasting a second, Shizuka, who had released the magic rope, waved her hand in mid-air and shouted, "Tie him up!"
The magic rope, which had transformed into a round shield, quickly deformed and wrapped around the Hundred-Eyed King's right arm through the sword, instantly stretching to a length of several hundred meters, tightly encasing the entire arm like a wrapped rice dumpling.
The rope covered every inch that could be covered, moving so fast that Hundred-Eyed King had no time to react. He pulled desperately at the magic rope, trying to break it with brute force. But the quality of a 22nd-century artifact was naturally guaranteed; the magic rope exhibited extremely strong elasticity, tightening even more with each wrapping. One of his arms, along with the black sword, was now bound, unable to even bend a joint.
"We're almost there! It's been so tough..."
Asur stood at the edge of the flying carpet, first sighing, then raising his hands high and repeating something under his breath.
In a short while, a dark red light, like silk, emerged from her delicate palms, spreading in the air and magnifying dozens of times in an instant. A metallic, twisting sound came from within. She flicked her wrist, hurling these magical creations. Like vigorous wild grass, they began to grow wildly upon contact with air, gently wrapping around the Hundred-Eyed King's left hand like smooth silk.
"drink!"
As Asur clenched his fist, the binding magic began to truly exert its power, quickly pressing against the target's left arm, wrapping around every inch of his skin like a magical rope. Unsurprisingly, it quickly met with fierce resistance from the Hundred-Eyed King. Realizing the situation, Narniadis reacted immediately, clasping her hands together and beginning to channel her own magic directly into Asur's body in a manner similar to "transferring power," thus maintaining her binding magic.
Even with the combined strength of the two of them, King Hyakume's resistance was still exceptionally fierce.
He roared like a madman, flailing his arms wildly, trying to break free of the restraints binding his arms. A behemoth nearly a hundred meters tall, moving so frantically, inevitably caused an earthquake. His feet shattered the ground, leaving several deep craters shaped like footprints.
"Well done!" Fat Tiger saw an opportunity on the sidelines, silently put on the [Super Glove], adjusted his posture, and struck the "Superman flying pose" he had long wanted to do—making a fist with his right hand and holding it in front of him to clear a path, shouting, "Leave the rest to me!"
"Thump—!!"
Before he finished speaking, his figure, like a swift piercing through the clouds, drew a curved arc in the air, striking him precisely in the shinbone like a cannonball.
