This dragon is clearly closely related to the Great Xia government, so what about the island nation?

Does it need a proxy?

Even if one cannot become its agent, being its servant still puts one above millions of others!

As he watched Fukuda engulfed in white flames, his screams lasting only a very short time before gradually dissipating into nothingness, his expression grew even more fanatical.

He banged his head on the ground repeatedly, feeling that only by breaking his head could he show his sincerity.

As he waited anxiously, he finally heard Bai Long's voice ring out again.

"Are you willing to offer your soul to me?"

Watanabe Ichijo's head was still a little dizzy from being bumped, but hearing these words still gave him a jolt, and his mind became clearer than ever before.

A surge of immense joy welled up within him. He realized that an opportunity to rise to the top was right before him, and he quickly replied, "Yes, I am willing to give everything for you!"

"Very good." Bai Lin nodded in satisfaction. "I will make you immortal!"

Watanabe was overjoyed, but before he could thank him, he heard Haku say, "Don't resist," and then he felt his head sink.

His consciousness seemed to enter a dark and gloomy space.

A pure white dragon scale suddenly appeared and approached him.

He guessed that this must be a reward from the white dragon, and he kowtowed to the ground in delight.

Dragon scales appeared before him, from which pale flames emanated.

An unprecedented pain surged from the depths of his soul, almost unbearable for Watanabe Ichijo.

"This is a test from the White Dragon! I must not resist!"

He kept telling himself to clench his teeth and press his hands firmly to the ground.

His figure shrank little by little, but he never dodged, only letting out inhuman, miserable groans from between his teeth.

A hint of appreciation appeared in Bai Lin's eyes.

"That little Japanese devil is really patient."

That's like your soul being burned, and you can actually endure it without even trying to dodge!

He liked the guy's tenacity.

After all, it was in the opponent's home turf that his soul was burned alive and his body was taken over. Even though his strength far surpassed that of his opponent, it would still take some effort.

It's much better now.

Watanabe Ichijo felt his pain lessening, and his thoughts becoming light and airy.

Is it going to succeed?

As he thought this, the last bit of color in his vision disappeared.

He remained standing in the same spot, but his eyes had become emptier than ever before.

Bai Lin looked at the work with satisfaction.

The other party's soul has been completely annihilated, leaving only this body.

This is a dragon puppet!

Although the creation of dragon puppets is strictly prohibited in the Hualong Sect, this place is still Earth.

He does need manpower.

In the absence of suitable dragon guards, this kind of dragon puppet can be used as a temporary measure.

Bai Lin vanished from the ship in a flash.

Watanabe Ichijo then walked out the door and leaped into the sea.

The huge cargo ship drifted alone on the sea.

There was no one left on the boat.

……

Yu Huan was almost in tears at this point.

She clearly called her husband to pick up the child, but when she asked him afterwards if he had picked him up, he said he didn't know anything about it.

After she called her teacher, the teacher said, puzzled, that her colleague had picked her up and that they had video chatted.

She almost thought she was going insane.

Fortunately, two people who claimed to be from the security department approached her and reassured her that everything would be alright.

After checking the documents and confirming the other person's identity, she waited.

Various thoughts flashed through her mind, and she wondered if her husband had offended someone.

Meanwhile, the two security personnel kept communicating with the outside world, their expressions growing increasingly serious.

This made Yu Huan even more anxious and uneasy.

Twenty minutes later, her husband arrived, but she didn't receive any news from her son.

Seeing his wife's red eyes and tears streaming down her face, Su Nan, who was also as anxious as an ant on a hot pan, suddenly had an idea and said, "Why don't we go home and see her?"

Come back home?

Not to mention Yu Huan, even the two people beside him felt that his statement was completely unreasonable.

“Yes, it’s about going home!” Su Nan said in a deep voice.

At his insistence, they went home.

Then Yu Huan saw his son lying quietly on the bed.

He was covered with a thin blanket, breathing heavily, and fast asleep.

Yu Huan pinched his thigh, wondering if he was hallucinating.

Su Nan smiled.

He was certain that his brother had done it.

Did he run into some trouble?

……

"The trouble will be resolved soon," Bai Lin said to Guan Mi in front of him.

“I heard from Liu Chongyu that many places are in chaos,” Guan Mi said worriedly. “Some staff members have lost their will to work.”

“But since Mr. Bai said it’s alright, then it must be resolved!” she added.

Bai Lin knew she didn't really understand, so he explained, "Once you deal with the culprit, the rest are no problem."

"The culprit?" Guan Mi asked in surprise.

Bai Lin didn't say anything more this time.

……

Chapter 96 Did he mutate after drinking nuclear wastewater?

Ueda paced back and forth in the mansion, looking somewhat uneasy.

A few hours earlier, he received a message from Fukuda via encrypted means, informing him that he was on his way back.

But after so much time, the other party never sent another message.

This made him instinctively feel that something was wrong.

He tried to contact the other party, but his messages went unanswered.

"It's all that Watanabe Ichijo's fault, I don't know what he's up to!" Uedano cursed under his breath.

He had not initially agreed to the kidnapping.

All he wanted was information about the dragon.

Does it exist? What capabilities does it possess? What is its relationship with the Great Xia government?

Watanabe Ichijo, however, suggested that kidnapping someone connected to him would be much more effective and would allow him to better control the other party.

Uedano was not persuaded, but Steven, who had been by his side and urging him on, was convinced.

The Americans have always had a high opinion of themselves.

Even if an entire carrier group was destroyed, they believed it was due to carelessness.

If they could know themselves and their enemy, they felt that they might be able to slay the dragon!

Uedano felt uneasy and decided to go to the shrine for a walk.

His great-grandfather was enshrined there.

He used to like going there whenever he encountered problems.

As he was leaving, he bumped into Steven.

"Is Mr. Ueda going out?" Steven asked.

"I'm going to visit the shrine, would you like to come along?" Uedano asked politely.

“Okay!” Steven readily agreed.

Ueda frowned slightly.

He wasn't really keen on bringing this American along.

These guys have no respect for their heroic ancestors; last time, one of them was even smoking a cigar in the shrine.

"Let's go!" Steven said enthusiastically. "How's the situation? I heard things are in complete chaos over in Great Xia?"

“They’re still on their way…” Uedano explained as they walked.

Upon arriving at the shrine entrance, he suddenly noticed two men in black standing there.

Ueda's expression froze for a moment, and she subconsciously looked at Steven beside her.

Steven raised an eyebrow: "What a coincidence, your prime minister is here too."

“Yes,” Uedano said.

The Prime Minister cannot openly visit the shrine, but he has visited it quite often in private.

He stepped forward and greeted the two bodyguards of the prime minister.

The man in black recognized him and Steven, spoke a few words into the walkie-talkie, and then let the two of them in.

The ancient trees and secluded atmosphere of the shrine brought a sense of peace to Uedano's mind.

Steven, on the other hand, felt that the place had a ghostly atmosphere.

He subconsciously touched his pocket and realized that he had forgotten to bring cigars.

Ueda headed straight for the center of the shrine.

He didn't particularly like the prime minister, but since he was already there, he figured he had to greet him.

Steven looked at him, hesitated for a moment, and then followed.

He planned to listen to what the two had to say and, incidentally, urge them to get detailed information about the suspected Eastern dragon as soon as possible.

……

The Eastern Dragon they were discussing was currently lying on a custom-made sofa, his head resting on the edge, watching Guan Mi quietly making talismans.

His eyes were somewhat vacant as he focused a sliver of his consciousness on the dragon puppet at the bottom of the sea.

The dragon puppet itself has no consciousness, only some instincts, and can do some things recklessly according to commands.

When dragons obtain them, they usually have them guard the dragon palace or dragon nest, or place them in the dragon tomb.

Bai Lin was indeed somewhat resistant to something that was so easy to lose control of.

At least it's inconvenient for him to use it within the Great Xia territory, lest it harm innocent people.

Deep down, he was still a Daxia person, and besides, he had always had a harmonious relationship with the government.

However, outside of the Great Xia, he felt no psychological burden whatsoever.
