Han Feng said to the two monks, "I wish to see the Buddha. I wonder if my wish will be granted today?"
"Buddha!"
The two monks exchanged a glance and asked, "Does the benefactor have urgent business with the Buddha?"
“It’s not a major matter, but there was a Buddhist disciple who passed away while meditating outside, and his relics were formed. I want to send him back.”
"Relics!"
The two monks were startled.
Only the strongest practitioners of the Buddhist sect can condense relics themselves.
"This matter is of great importance, please come with me."
This matter involves a power struggle within the Buddhist order, and it's not something the two gatekeeper monks can decide.
Han Feng followed the two into the temple, and after climbing straight to the top of the mountain, a spatial barrier appeared in front of the three of them.
“Benefactor, this is a sacred Buddhist site. Please refrain from making noise once inside.”
Han Feng nodded.
Spatial ripples flickered, and in the next instant, the three arrived at another Buddhist sanctuary.
The difference between the two realms is like heaven and earth; the energy of heaven and earth in the Buddhist Pure Land is almost five times that of the outside world.
As Han Feng sensed the profound Buddhist atmosphere of the Buddhist Pure Land, his heart became slightly solemn.
Under the influence of the Fallen Heart Flame, this place exudes an aura of righteousness, far surpassing ordinary temples in the outside world.
If someone with ill intentions were to enter this place, they would likely be immediately overwhelmed by the dense Buddhist energy and revealed their true form.
As you walk inside, the melodious Buddhist chants echo, instantly bringing clarity to your heart.
Han Feng was led to a spacious and empty hall, where a huge golden Buddha statue was placed, and beneath the statue was a long passage of strange text.
"Please wait here for a moment, benefactor. The abbot will be here soon."
The two monks bowed slightly to Han Feng and then left.
Han Feng stood in the main hall, looking around.
He saw the long string of strange characters and his gaze sharpened.
Is this Sanskrit?
The Venerable Master Shi Yuan once taught him a mantra called the Brahma Mantra, which uses Sanskrit.
Later, by chance, Han Feng comprehended the profound meaning of the Fallen Heart Flame—the Fallen Brahma Heart—through Sanskrit.
Although this language did not play a significant role in daily life, it brought Han Feng considerable benefits.
He walked up to the Buddha statue and began to analyze it.
"Bodhi..."
It took Han Feng a few minutes to read through the entire text.
"The Bodhi Sutra!"
This is actually a cultivation technique?
Han Feng was deeply shocked.
Based on his understanding and judgment, the Bodhi Sutra is definitely no lower than the Heavenly rank.
But why would this Heavenly Rank cultivation technique be so easily placed in the main hall for everyone to observe?
Then, a gentle voice came from behind.
"Did you see the words on it, benefactor?"
A monk wearing a kasaya walked into the main hall.
Han Feng turned around and saw that the newcomer was a handsome monk with a calm aura, the specific ripples of which were not discernible.
Is he the Buddha?
A hint of surprise appeared in Han Feng's eyes.
"This humble monk, Li Xunxin, greets Benefactor Han."
"Do you know who I am?"
Han Feng had no recollection of ever revealing his name.
"When I saw you, benefactor, I had the answer."
Li Xunxin smiled faintly and walked to Han Feng's side.
"Just like this Bodhi Sutra, very few people in the world can see it."
Han Feng felt a chill run down his spine.
Although the person in front of me was inferior in cultivation and strength, I still felt like I could see right through him.
Does he also possess an ability similar to "fallen Brahma heart"?
"The doubts of the benefactor are actually contained in this Bodhi Sutra. It was only by comprehending the 'enlightened mind Bodhi' within it that I was able to see my true nature."
Han Feng remained silent for a moment before speaking, "The Buddha's supernatural powers are vast; I admire them."
He took out the relics of Shi Yuan and handed them to the other party.
"This is the relic of Elder Shiyuan, and today it is returned to its rightful owner."
After Li Xunxin accepted it, he uttered a Buddhist chant.
"Amitabha."
"Although Shi Yuan was troubled by worldly affairs, he was fortunate to meet Benefactor Han, who was able to find someone to entrust his affairs to before he died."
"This humble monk thanks you."
Han Feng was somewhat puzzled: "Did the Buddha Venerable know about Elder Shi Yuan's whereabouts all along?"
Li Xunxin shook his head, then nodded.
"It was this relic that gave me the answer: Shi Yuan was moved by worldly desires, moved by...true feelings."
"truth?"
"It should be romantic love between a man and a woman."
Li Xunxin said.
He sighed.
“Shi Yuan once came to the Buddhist temple to find me, but he was determined to leave. He was determined to go, and I did not stop him.”
"Therefore, Elder Shiyuan knew that he had violated the precepts of Buddhism, and thus was unwilling to return to Buddhism."
Li Xunxin smiled slightly.
"Discipline?"
"What he broke was the vow he made before Buddha years ago."
"But if asked about his true intentions, doesn't he himself know whether he has truly acted against them?"
Han Feng seemed to be deep in thought.
"Benefactor Han, now that the gifts have been delivered, consider this Bodhi Sutra a return gift from Buddhism. Benefactor Han may practice as you wish."
After Li Xunxin finished speaking, he strode outside.
"Buddha!"
Han Feng suddenly called out to the other person.
I have a question.
Li Xunxin stopped in her tracks.
"Isn't one's true feelings always right?"
Li Xunxin remained silent for a moment, then turned to look at Han Feng.
"Benefactor Han, your cultivation is extraordinary, you have a great sense of righteousness, and you care about all living beings. This humble monk cannot give you an answer, but I can tell you one thing."
"Please speak, Your Majesty."
Li Xunxin bowed slightly and made a Buddhist gesture.
"Those who enter the world are destined to seek their own true nature."
Chapter 176, the Bodhi Sutra
In the main hall.
Time passes silently.
Han Feng stood before the Buddha statue for a long time. Suddenly, the Bodhi Sutra in front of him lit up with golden light and flowed into Han Feng's body.
Han Feng formed a hand seal, and a profound artistic conception emanated from his body.
"Subduing the Bodhi Mind."
"Ten dwellings, ten journeys, ten returns."
"Subdue all afflictions and pacify the mind."
.......
As the light flashed, every inch of Han Feng's flesh and blood seemed to be sublimated, entering an extreme state.
In this state, Han Feng can perfectly mobilize every minute part of his body, thereby unleashing combat power far exceeding his normal level.
With the aid of the profound mysteries of the Fallen Brahma Heart, and the ability to perceive all external omens, Han Feng at this moment had the illusion of stepping into the realm of a semi-saint.
The Bodhi Sutra describes three methods of cultivation.
Arousing Bodhi, Enlightened Bodhi, Subduing Bodhi.
And ultimately, supreme enlightenment.
Each of the three methods has its own unique wonders, and their power after cultivation is not entirely the same.
Once one cultivates Bodhicitta (the aspiration for enlightenment), one can influence all sentient beings and affect all living things in the world.
After cultivating the Bodhi Mind, one can understand one's true nature and comprehend all things in the universe.
After cultivating the Bodhi Mind, one can subdue distracting thoughts and enhance one's own power.
According to the Buddha, the Bodhi Sutra is only revealed to those with affinity, and enlightenment will be given according to the practitioner's own character.
Although the three methods have different effects, they all lead to the same goal: to attain the ultimate state of enlightenment, supreme Bodhi.
However, even the Buddha himself never revealed in Buddhist scriptures that he had attained the supreme enlightenment.
This supreme enlightenment is probably a distant goal, a Buddhist principle that exists yet does not exist.
Han Feng withdrew the Buddha light, bowed slightly to the Buddha statue, and then turned and left.
Before leaving, he remembered the fragment of the demonic sword in his hand.
He had previously promised Elder Shiyuan that he would go to the Buddhist community to help them purify their demonic energy.
It's just unknown whether the Buddha has this need.
After all, the other party had cultivated such a wonderful method as the Bodhi Sutra, and was certainly more knowledgeable than himself in the field of studying demonic energy.
"Congratulations, Benefactor Han, on attaining the wondrous Dharma of Bodhi."
Han Feng had just formed an idea when the person in question showed up.
Li Xunxin appeared out of nowhere, bowed to Han Feng with a faint smile on her face.
"I must thank the Buddha for making this possible."
Han Feng returned the greeting to Li Xunxin.
He now knew that it was probably Li Xunxin's idea for the two monks to take him to the Buddha Hall.
"Buddha, do you know where this thing came from?"
