[Movie Viewing] End

The screen went black, but laughter continued to echo throughout the space.

Vodka rubbed his hands together impatiently: "Is there another one? Hurry, hurry, one more!"

Chianti rolled her eyes, opened the last bag of snacks, and poured them into her mouth.

"It should be gone."

She glanced at the drab, gray ending screen, her tone tinged with a sense of lingering regret.

She hadn't answered many questions correctly to begin with, and the movie lasted a long time, so she spent all her points on food. The people around her were in the same boat.

Since learning about Koniak's relationship with Ran Mouri, they no longer had any questions they wanted answered.

Anyway, they're just cannon fodder, not detectives. They don't have much curiosity; they're just here for fun.

[Movie mode has ended. Do you wish to appear? Note: Physical attacks are not permitted.]

A line of text appeared in front of Aozawa and Ran Mouri.

Qingze chuckled speechlessly. This god was quite considerate, even asking them if they wanted to show themselves.

Should I show myself and be laughed at?

"Are you going to show yourself?" he asked Ran Mouri.

Ran Mouri shook her head vigorously; all she wanted now was to leave this world that was driving her crazy.

"Then I'll go." Qingze rubbed his hands together, staring menacingly at the people still laughing below.

“That god,” he looked up and shouted into the void, “give me a change of clothes, a transformation. I want to go down and scare them to death.”

Ran Mouri observed a minute's silence for the people below.

Binga was eating popcorn, waiting for the next segment, when he suddenly felt a hand on his shoulder, followed by a soft voice in his ear.

"You were laughing very happily just now."

Binga's hair stood on end, and he froze on the spot, scattering the popcorn in his hand all over the ground.

Almost simultaneously, the laughter around them abruptly ceased, as if someone had grabbed their throats.

He turned his head slowly, like a rusty machine—and there it was—that familiar face appeared before him. White hair, red eyes, a sinister smile playing on his lips as he stared at him.

"Konyak!" Chianti dropped the bag of snacks in her hand.

Wasn't Koniak supposed to be here? How did he suddenly appear like a ghost! If she had known he was here, she would have held back and not laughed so loudly.

Vodka instinctively tried to move away, but with a sudden effort—wait! He could move now!

He jumped up and darted behind his older brother, shrinking his neck and only showing half of his head.

Gin: "..."

Hiding behind him won't help.

Gin stood up unhurriedly, straightened the collar of his trench coat, looked at Qingze through the crowd, and smiled slightly.

"Long time no see, beautiful girl Koniak."

Qingze: "......."

Is this how you play it?

He flashed a bright smile. "Long time no see, Vodka's crush."

Vodka: "???"

Hey hey hey!!! What does this have to do with me?!

Shuichi Akai walked across the open space and looked at Aozawa with a complicated expression. "Long time no see."

Looking at his eyes, Qingze rolled her eyes. "Don't look at me like that. Anyone who didn't know better would think you have a crush on me."

Shuichi Akai smiled slightly. "I do have a crush on you."

Qingze: "......"

Qingze silently took a step back.

Shuichi Akai's lips curled up even more.

Dealing with Koniak is simple; just go along with what he says.

Rei Furuya also came over, and after seeing Shuichi Akai's move, he fell silent.

Indeed, having a face is only a burden for some people.

"Want a drink?" Akai Hideyoshi looked at Aozawa.

He still has plenty of points left, enough to buy a good bottle of wine.

Qingze raised an eyebrow.

"Row."

The four of them ended up sitting together for no apparent reason.

Chianti and Vodka looked at each other, their faces clearly saying, "What's going on?"

"How do they manage to sit together and drink so calmly?" Chianti muttered to himself.

Vodka thought for a moment, then managed to squeeze out, "Maybe it's because...they're all dead."

Aozawa raised his glass, glancing left at Gin and right at Rei Furuya. "I'm drinking with Shuichi Akai. What are you doing here?"

Jiang Guling ignored him.

Qingze then turned to Gin: "Gin, what are you doing getting involved now?"

Gin didn't even lift his eyelids, and said directly, "A glass of bourbon whiskey, please."

“I want a Bourbonwich too,” Rei Furuya said.

Shuichi Akai didn't pay any attention to the two uninvited guests. He casually ordered a bottle of bourbon whiskey and four glasses.

Four people, four stances, four enemies who should have stabbed each other in the back, are now sitting face to face, calmly clinking glasses.

Even vodka would find this scene surreal.

He stared for a while, then realized they were just drinking silently, and he immediately felt bored. His gaze swept across the crowd and landed on the person in the corner.

"Is that Kaito Kid?" He nudged Oddon next to him.

"Ah."

Vodka slapped his thigh and pulled Chianti up: "Come on, Chianti, let's go ask him how it feels to take the blame for Koniak."

Chianti's eyes lit up: "Let's go!"

The two of them walked excitedly toward Kaito Kuroba.

Kaito Kuroba was hiding in a corner pretending to be invisible when he saw the two people heading straight for him. His heart skipped a beat, and his whole body tensed up.

“Let me ask you a question,” Vodka crouched down, his expression serious as if he were conducting an interview, “How does it feel to be the scapegoat for Koniak?”

Kaito Kuroba: "..."

Thanks for the invitation. Not really. I don't want to know in my next life.

Gin swirled the liquor in his glass, his gaze falling on the couple in the distance who kept looking this way—Kogoro Mouri and Eri Kisaki. His eyes never left Aozawa.

“At a time like this,” Gin said slowly, “won’t you go and talk to your ‘parents’?”

Qingze pursed his lips.

What do you mean by "at this time"? He's not dead, yet you're talking as if he were.

Besides, he really doesn't know how to face his in-laws right now—he'll deal with it after they get out, if he can still remember things once they're out…

I reckon it won't leave a memory.

He hid behind Gin, only half of his head showing.

"I'm scared. Shield me."

Rei Furuya, holding a glass of wine, looked at him teasingly: "You dressed up as Ran Mouri so naturally, but you have moments of fear too?"

Qingze sighed, his voice low and mournful: "Alas, I am just a weak, helpless, and pitiful person..."

Shuichi Akai chuckled softly. "They won't do anything to you."

He knew the Mori couple's character well. Besides—they were already dead, so what resentment could they possibly have towards the deceased?

Qingze rolled her eyes at him. "You're not me, you make it sound so easy. Try letting yourself be stripped naked from head to toe and see what happens!"

Despite being rolled his eyes at, Shuichi Akai wasn't annoyed. He poured himself another glass of wine and looked at Aozawa curiously:

"Are you really willing to die like that?"

The other two people also looked over. They showed no intention of communicating with each other; their only concern was Qingze.

Qingze held his wine glass, took a melancholy sip, and sighed softly.

"What if you're willing to give it up, or what if you're not? That's how most things in the world are; they won't change according to your wishes."

LOL, I'm not going to tell them he's alive again.

Shinichi Kudo stood not far away and watched for a long time.

He finally stepped forward, his gaze sweeping from Gin to Rei Furuya, from Rei Furuya to Shuichi Akai, and finally landing on Aozawa.

He looked at this person, this person who hid countless secrets, faced him with various faces, deceived him, helped him, made him grit his teeth, and left him speechless.

A mix of emotions surged within me, ultimately coalescing into a simple "Congratulations."

"Mr. Qingze, congratulations on your rebirth from the ashes."

Swish swish.

Gin, Shuichi Akai, and Rei Furuya all stared intently at Aozawa.

What's the meaning?!

Amidst three piercing gazes, Aozawa looked at Shinichi Kudo in front of him and slowly smiled.

"Happy together."

Author's Closing Remarks

That's all for my review. There's nothing else worth watching, and even if there were, it would just be a couple of complaints, which wouldn't be very interesting to share.

Readers who want to write can do so without asking for authorization. [I'm handing you a pen]

This book took almost a year to write, more than 300 days and nights of hard work, and it has just reached 140 million words.

This is the most complete book I've written in my fifth year of writing, and also the fastest one I've ever written.

It flows seamlessly from beginning to end.

Especially the ending, which took a long time to develop and wasn't a happy ending, but I'm still very satisfied with it.

This book was inspired by fan fiction, which sparked my creative drive, and I started writing as soon as I opened a document.

Then my creative passion lasted for a million words, and I even updated three times a week for a long time. Looking back now, I really admire myself for being able to write so much while working a regular job.

I don't know if I'll be able to maintain this level of passionate creativity in the future, but my pen will definitely keep going.

However, the story that follows has nothing to do with Conan and his friends.

The author weaves a dream with his pen, and the reader enters that dream to meet the characters, sharing their joys and sorrows, and feeling the ups and downs of fate—it's a truly romantic thing.

I like this kind of romance, regardless of anything else—it's just about the author and the reader.

Thank you for reading this far.

Thank you for enjoying the story I wrote.

At last.

Thank you for the encounter.

Thank you for your companionship over the past 300 days.
