Jingni looked at the enormous snowman and exclaimed in surprise. She had just made a snowman the size of a person.

She thought that snowman was already very big, but seeing the big snowman Qin Qi made, she felt that the one she made before was so small.

"At this moment, you're behaving like a little child."

The Snow Woman looked at Jing Ni and smiled. At that moment, Jing Ni looked at the Snow Woman with surprise, just like a little girl seeing snow for the first time.

It's so cute.

"Humph."

The Qilin horse sneezed, and the snow in the places it walked on melted instantly. It then walked to the side of the white horse.

"Are you cold? Come close to me and let me warm you up."

"Well, that's very kind of you."

The white horse leaned against the qilin horse, feeling warm both physically and emotionally. The sight of the white horse and the qilin horse whispering sweet nothings to each other was truly indecent.

After cleaning the house, Jingni stayed behind to watch over it, while Qin Qi and Xue Nu went to a nearby town to buy some food and other necessities.

When they returned after shopping, they ran into Xiaoyaozi of the Human Sect. The two recognized each other immediately upon seeing each other again!

"Mr. Qin Qi, the Madman of Yan and Zhao!"

"Hmm, that Xiaoyaozi from the Taoist Humanist Sect?"

Qin Qi looked at Xiaoyaozi and thought, "Hmm, at first glance, he looks like an otherworldly cultivator who doesn't concern himself with worldly affairs."

Xiaoyaozi looked at Qin Qi and thought, "Well, at first glance, he just looks like an ordinary young man accompanying his wife shopping."

"I have come here to find you. I heard that you challenged the masters of the Hundred Schools of Thought, so I came down the mountain to exchange ideas with you on the world."

Xiaoyaozi stated his purpose directly.

"Oh, but let's not stand outside and talk this time. Come home with me, and we can discuss things over tea."

Although Qin Qi belonged to the Taoist sect of later generations, as the saying goes, all Taoist sects under heaven are one family, so they can actually be considered one family.

"fair enough."

Xiaoyaozi nodded, and then took the initiative to help Qin Qi get some things. He looked like a quiet and inactive cultivator, but he was actually quite kind.

The three returned to Ghost Valley.

"Hmph."

The Qilin horse sneezed as it watched Qin Qi return. This time, Qin Qi went on foot without the Qilin horse.

The Qilin horse was very dissatisfied with this. They usually acted together, so why wasn't it taken along this time?

"I bought you your favorite braised beef."

Qin Qi tossed a whole piece of braised beef to the Qilin horse, which immediately became happy and even raised its hoof to give Qin Qi a thumbs up.

Brother, I knew you wouldn't leave me behind. Well, I forgive you. I'll try to make things as easy for you as possible when you carry me in the future.

"This horse is so intelligent!"

Xiaoyaozi looked at the Qilin horse with a somewhat surprised expression. Such a human-like horse was truly rare.

"Humph."

Qilinma glanced at Xiaoyaozi who was speaking, sneezed, and then walked away with his braised beef, looking disdainful.

Humans are so easily surprised. What's wrong with me eating braised beef? Is it that strange? It's not like I spent your money.

"Is he looking down on me?"

Xiaoyaozi looked at Qin Qi with a puzzled expression. He had actually seen contempt in the horse's eyes just now.

"Don't worry about it. Jingni, brew a pot of tea and get two cups."

Qin Qi led Xiaoyaozi into the room. At this moment, Jingni came over with tea. There were three cups on the table, all filled.

Qin Qi had one cup, Xue Nu had one cup, and then she sat down next to Qin Qi and picked up the last cup to take small sips.

"........."

Xiaoyaozi looked at Qin Qi, then at Jingni, and was momentarily stunned. Wasn't this tea meant for him?

Why are you guys picking up your glasses and starting to drink? No, wait! The important thing isn't the tea, it's that this girl gives off a very dangerous vibe!

This person must be a master! Qin Qi, the Madman of Yan and Zhao, truly lives up to his reputation; even the young girl beside him is so powerful!

"What do you want to discuss? The Great Dao of Heaven and Earth? Or the Dao of Humanity? Or perhaps the Dao of Techniques? The Five Elements, the Eight Trigrams, Yin and Yang?"

Qin Qi drank his tea without feeling anything was wrong, since he was only pouring tea for himself.

"There are simply too many theories to discuss. I have come here today only to ask you how you perceive the people of the world?"

"Those who lost to you? Those who are inferior to you? How do you view them?"

The Human Sect, to which Xiaoyaozi belongs, upholds the principle of equality for all beings, without distinction of rank or status. At this moment, what he asked (Wang Wang) was Qin Qi's view on this concept.

"Look with the naked eye."

Qin Qi said, "I have always believed in the saying, 'There are always people better than you, and there is always a higher level to reach.' There is no stronger, only the strongest."

"Yes, you are an outsider, a being from another realm."

The Snow Maiden couldn't help but speak up at this moment. She often heard Qin Qi say this, almost whenever someone asked him if there was anyone stronger than him.

He always says this, it sounds very humble, but he always adds a sentence at the end.

"I didn't say I'm the strongest. There might be people stronger than me, but I just haven't met them yet."

Qin Qi spoke.

"I don't think there is a distinction between winning and losing. Victory or defeat is just an external manifestation."

"You may win against them in terms of force, but that doesn't necessarily mean you've won in other areas. After all, people are still just people."

"In this respect, everyone is the same, and there is no distinction between winner and loser."

Xiaoyaozi seized upon Qin Qi's words and spoke.

"You mean all beings are equal?"

"That's right, all beings are equal. In our eyes, people are divided into different classes, but in the eyes of this world, we are all the same."

"Heaven and earth are ruthless, treating all things like straw dogs. In their eyes, we are nothing more than straw dogs, with no difference between us and them."

Xiaoyaozi spoke up.

"If everything is the same, is there any need for debate? Is there any need for learning? Is there any need for spiritual practice?"

"How about you describe to me everything you see before you, Xiaoyaozi?"

Qin Qi asked back.

“You, me, him, this world, this house, the two horses outside, and that huge snowman.”

Xiaoyaozi spoke.

In the chapter "Free and Easy Wandering" in Zhuangzi, several examples are given, such as how the cicada and the turtledove cannot understand the goal of the roc.

"Fungi that live only a day don't know that it's a day; cicadas that live in spring and die in summer and autumn and die in winter don't know that there are four seasons."

"You're the same. How can you see the world from a human perspective? How do you know that heaven and earth think all things are the same?"

Qin Qi asked.

Chapter 84 You don't think that discussing the Dao is just about talking, do you?

"You said that everything in the world is equal, without distinction of high or low, noble or base, victory or defeat, honor or disgrace, and should be treated equally."

"But the world you see is full of inequality. If you look at the world with inequality in your eyes, you will naturally only see a world of inequality."

Lao Tzu said: "When everyone in the world recognizes beauty as beauty, ugliness is already present; when everyone recognizes goodness as goodness, evil is already present."

Therefore, existence and non-existence give rise to each other; difficulty and ease complement each other; long and short define each other; high and low incline towards each other; sound and silence harmonize with each other; front and back follow each other.

"You think everything should be treated equally because you believe that everything is unequal."

Qin Qi's words left Xiaoyaozi speechless: "You think the world should be equal, and all beings should be treated equally?"

But why do you have this idea? It's because you believe that the world is not equal and that all beings are not treated equally.

"I cannot refute what you have said."

"I heard that you previously defeated the famous Gongsun with your debating skills, and seeing you now, it is indeed true that you live up to your reputation."

"This sophistry is truly masterful."

Xiaoyaozi did not believe that Qin Qi was speaking of the Great Dao. He felt that Qin Qi's words were simply sophistry and a complete attempt to distort the truth.

“This is indeed sophistry, but it is also the truth.”

"What do you mean by treating everyone equally? Who treats everyone equally? Is it you, or me? Or heaven and earth?"

"Look at this snowman outside. What difference do you see between him and us?"

Qin Qi asked.

"You're not trying to tell me that a snowman is a person, just like a white horse is a horse."

Xiaoyaozi spoke.

"No, the snowman is not human, but he is no different from us. If what Heaven and Earth say is that all living beings are the same."

"What's the difference between the snowman and us? They are born and die, and so are humans, in relation to heaven and earth."

"What's the difference between us and the mountains, rivers, seasons, wind, rain, thunder, and lightning? We're just a part of this world."

"You say you want to treat everyone equally, but you yourself are always fixated on whether it's equal or not. Whether it's equal or unequal, you're just looking at it with your eyes and thinking about it with your heart."

"What are the essential differences between them? Is it worth caring about? I think it's not worth it; thinking about it is just a waste of time."

"Words are too shallow; it seems I can only demonstrate my greatness through action!"

After Xiaoyaozi finished speaking, he drew his sword. Since reasoning was useless, he had no choice but to fight. The discussion of the Dao is not just about talking; fighting is also part of the discussion.

The moment Xiaoyaozi drew his sword, Jingni's sword was already at his neck.

"........."

Looking at Jingni and seeing her serious expression, Xiaoyaozi really wanted to ask, "Girl, what's wrong with you?"

It was one thing to pour tea for yourself at first, but now that I'm discussing Dao with Qin Qi, why are you holding a sword to my neck?

"This isn't about fighting, it's about discussing the Dao. Put your sword away."

Qin Qi began to explain to Jing Ni.

"........."

“He’s drawn his sword. I think there’s no need to discuss any principles anymore. Since he’s drawn his sword, let’s all attack him together and kill him.”

Jing Ni could sense that the old man in front of her was very powerful, so powerful that she couldn't help but want to kill him.

This is because Xiaoyaozi posed too great a threat to Jingni, and the only thing Jingni would do in the face of such a threat was to eliminate the enemy!

"That's normal, it's just a discussion of principles."

Qin Qi nodded, not seeing any problem at all.

"No problem, I feel there's a big problem."

The Snow Woman complained from the side, "Why does discussing the Dao always involve fighting and killing? I've wanted to say something for a while, but I haven't had the chance."

"You don't think that discussing the Dao is just about talking, do you? How can you determine a winner without actually fighting?"

"This kind of behavior is very normal in Taoism. They will fight if they disagree, and in the end, whoever wins will be the winner."

Qin Qi didn't think there was anything wrong with this at all. Taoism is all about doing whatever you want, and it's normal to start a fight over a disagreement.

Let alone Taoism, Confucianism is the same. Otherwise, do you think the swords that Confucian scholars carry are just decorations?

No, swords were used for duels when debates were extremely heated and neither side could convince the other.

"Then what's the point of all that arguing? Why don't you just start fighting?"

The Snow Woman truly couldn't understand what they were thinking, or why they acted as if it were their right to do such things.

"To win a debate, you must win the argument from the heart."
