Hell Game: Starting from Metropolis

"?"
Upon seeing this sign, a question mark also popped into his mind.
"Stay outside and meet me."
As Liu Zheng got out of the car, he gave Niu Daji some instructions.
"Okay, boss."
Niu Daji also got off the car, put on his vest, grabbed his steel fork, and stood ready.
This is its first time accompanying a food delivery, so there can't be any mistakes.
Liu Zheng walked to the door of No. 17 East and gently knocked on the door.
"Please come in."
A weak female voice came from inside the door.
"You're letting me in so easily?"
He frowned, feeling more alarmed than pleased.
Something unusual must be amiss. He quietly took out the fishing rod, the delivery slip, and the hellish scene before him before pushing the door open and entering.
Fortunately, there were no open or hidden attacks, no curses or traps, and no demons or monsters inside the door.
There was only one girl wearing pure cotton home clothes and wrapped in a blanket, warming herself by the stove.
The stove was blazing, and the temperature inside the room was at least forty degrees Celsius.
However, the girl's face and hands were still pale and bluish, without any color in them, as if she had been severely frozen.
"A deliveryman from the Bloody Restaurant?"
The girl glanced at his uniform and asked.
"Yes."
Liu Zheng replied.
What are the dishes?
The girl asked again.
"Super concentrated Mr. Bean soy juice".
"Oh, that's perfect. Give it to me."
The girl reached out her hand.
"I need to verify your identity. Are you Zhuge Ling?"
Although the other party was very cooperative, he still asked cautiously.
"There's a drawer on the left side of that table. My resident ID card, household registration book, and business license are all in there. You can check them yourself."
The girl pointed to the table to her left.
"May I call someone else in?"
Liu Zheng became increasingly cautious.

"casual."
The girl said it nonchalantly.
"Thank you."
Liu Zheng opened the door and waved to Niu Daji.
"Daji, go open that drawer. Be careful."
After Niu Daji came in, Liu Zheng said to it.
"Okay, boss."
Niu Daji was a little hesitant, but he still gritted his teeth and opened the drawer.
Fortunately, nothing happened.
"Whoo~"
Liu Zheng and it both breathed a sigh of relief.
"Well done."
He patted Niu Daji on the shoulder and then took out the documents from the drawer.
After comparing the two, Liu Zheng confirmed that the girl in front of him was indeed Zhuge Ling, the person who placed the order.
"I'm sorry, you must have found this amusing."
He waved his hand, signaling Niu Daji to go out first.
"It's nothing. I've seen plenty of cautious people like you. You're one of the more polite ones."
Zhuge Ling said indifferently.
"Can I have my takeout now?"
"May I ask, you should know that receiving takeout comes at a price, right?"
Liu Zheng became somewhat curious about the person in front of him.
Of all the food delivery orders she's ever made, Zhuge Ling is the most normal and calm among all the customers.
But this very normality is itself abnormal.
"I know, that's why I asked you what the food was. Also, there's no need to keep using the formal 'you' form of address; my biological age is the same as my appearance."
Zhuge Ling said.
"Okay. So you mean you're not going to sign for the meal unless it's super concentrated Mr. Bean soy milk?"
Liu Zheng readily accepted good advice.
"That's right. Is that cow or horse still at the delivery shop?"
Zhuge Ling asked.
I cannot answer your question.
"That's it. It seems you didn't consult it before delivering the food, otherwise you would know that if I don't want to accept the food, even it can't force me."
Zhuge Ling's tone was still weak, yet it inexplicably exuded a domineering aura.
"Then why do you love this dish so much?"
Liu Zheng asked.
"Did you see the sign hanging at my door?"
Zhuge Ling countered with a question.
"I saw it."
"You seem like a smart person, so you should understand that uncontrollable intelligence is not a good thing. If you add an extraordinary memory to that, it becomes a curse."
“Every day, many people come to me for advice, and I ask them for knowledge in return. As more and more people come to me, my knowledge becomes more and more extensive. They are like electronic components that are connected in the circuit in my brain, making me think day and night, never at peace.”
Zhuge Ling recounted her troubles in the tone of telling a horror story.
"Then why do you insist on demanding knowledge? You could be more vulgar and just ask for money."
Liu Zheng offered his enthusiastic advice.
"It seems you're still not smart enough. If you were smart enough, you would know that thoughts are not entirely under your control. Just like using lust-inducing techniques on a castrated ram, even though it no longer has that function, it will still go into heat madly."
Zhuge Ling's tone carried a hint of sarcasm.
"Isn't it a bit deliberate of you to use the ram as an example?"
He squinted and said.
"Do you still have any questions?"
Zhuge Ling did not answer his question, but instead asked a question to himself.
"There should be no more."
Liu Zheng was just habitually curious; he already knew enough.
"Okay, now you can pay the payment."
Zhuge Ling said.
"Good heavens, so this is where I was waiting."
For some reason, he felt somewhat at ease after being ripped off.
"So what kind of knowledge do you want? Let me make it clear first, I come from the countryside, and apart from being able to read, I'm basically illiterate."
Anyway, he usually deals with those who place orders when he delivers food, so one more Zhuge Ling won't make a difference.
"It doesn't matter, as long as it's something I don't know."
Zhuge Ling said.
"Alright then. But aren't you afraid I might tell you forbidden knowledge?"
Liu Zheng raised an eyebrow.
"You can try it."
Zhuge Ling said calmly.
"Never mind, I was just saying, I don't intend to do anything reckless."
Actually, he didn't know what to say.
The things he knows that can't be said are all personal matters to him; I really don't know which knowledge is taboo in the metropolis.
"I've got it. Let me tell you how to play Three Kingdoms Kill."
Liu Zheng suddenly had an idea.
Anyway, Nightingale won't be able to open a board game store anytime soon, and Zhuge Ling doesn't seem like the type to open one.
"You tell me first and listen."
Zhuge Ling said noncommittally.
"It's very simple. The basic gameplay involves four factions: Lord, Loyalist, Rebel, and Traitor."
Liu Zheng gave a brief explanation of how to play the Three Kingdoms Kill game and then gave several examples of generals' skills.
"It's a very simple game, but it's quite novel."
Zhuge Ling commented.
Do you have it with you?
"No. I'm out in the wind and rain all day long, I don't have time to play."
He shrugged.
"Then I've changed my mind. Tell me all the skills of those generals before I sign for the takeout."
Zhuge Ling said.
"Hey, you little brat, why don't you keep your word?"
Liu Zheng became anxious.
"First of all, I'm not a kid. Secondly, who says I have to keep my word?"
Zhuge Ling countered with a question.
Aren't you afraid of the backlash that comes from breaking your promise?
he threatened.
"Whose backlash? Yours or the Metropolitan's?
