Hell Game: Starting from Metropolis

Wanzi obediently spun around.
"Like this."
The deputy minister looked at her gaunt figure and stiff movements and shook his head.
With this kind of demeanor, she wouldn't even be qualified to serve VIP guests, let alone distinguished guests.
The deputy minister stared at the top of her head, lost in thought.
She was worried that having such a newcomer serve Lord Kunguna might make him feel like she was just going through the motions.
Although there is no record of Kunguna getting angry about it, the deputy minister did not want to gamble on the chances.
She had only recently become a vice minister, and had a bright future ahead of her. She still had her dream of buying a house in the city to realize, so she couldn't just die like that.
However, if we skip over Wanzi like that, the other servants will definitely be dissatisfied.
They are like dormant volcanoes now; just one trigger could set them off, and then things would be difficult to handle.
Feeling the gaze from above, Wanzi lowered his head even further.
But a moment later, she suddenly raised her head and met the eyes of the deputy minister.
"Your Excellency, may I ask what you are thinking?"
Wan Zi asked in a low voice.
"I'm wondering if you're qualified to serve Lord Kunguna."
The deputy minister glanced at her and spoke slowly.
Do you think I am?
"I don't think you do, but others might not think so."
The deputy minister looked around as he spoke, and sure enough, everyone else showed expressions of dissatisfaction.
"If I please Lord Kunguna, may I make a request to the bathhouse?"
Wan Zi asked cautiously.
"Ok?"
The deputy minister withdrew his gaze and carefully examined her.
What requests do you have?
"I want the bathhouse to let me leave."
Wan Zi replied.
"How did you get in?"
The deputy minister asked.
"I was sold into this place."
Wan Zi said, biting her lip.
“Oh. I don’t understand where you get the confidence that you can serve Lord Kunguna well.”
The deputy minister said with a faint sneer.
"I lack confidence, but I'll still do it."
"You really dislike bathhouses that much?"
The vice minister's tone was slightly cold.
“It’s not that I dislike bathhouses, I just dislike the idea of being sold off. If I were to become an employee of a bathhouse, I should have applied for the job myself.”
Wan Zi explained.
"A naive idea. But you're starting to look promising now. So let's go."
The deputy minister waved the biting toy in his hand at her.
"Yes."
Wan Zi took small steps forward and put his finger into the crocodile's mouth.
"Mom, you'll protect Xiao Wan, right?"
With her other hand, she stroked the pendant on her chest, silently praying in her heart.
"I'm going to start the countdown."
The deputy minister said calmly.
"No need, Vice Minister, I have already made my choice."
Wan Zi shook his head.
Her finger rested on her seventh tooth, her lucky number.
"No, I don't think you made a good choice."
A voice came from outside the door.
"That voice is!"
Wan Zi looked towards the door with surprise, and the next second Liu Zheng pushed the door open and entered.
"Small chest, big mouth. You don't need it anymore? What, would waiting three more seconds be too much for you to die?"
He came in and immediately started yelling at us.
"No, I'm just afraid that the courage I've finally mustered up will slip away again."
Wan Zi said, feeling wronged.
"You've even learned to talk back?"
Liu Zheng stared wide-eyed.
"Where can I find it?"
"Shut up, adults are talking, kids go play somewhere else."
He pointed at Wanzi and said.
"Oh."
Wan Zi decisively shut his mouth.
"who are you?"
The deputy minister frowned as he looked at the uninvited guest.
"The deputy minister's name is Renhe, and he works in the massage department."
Yaoji walked in and introduced the chicken.
"What are you people from the massage department doing in our service department?"
The deputy minister asked.
"Oh, it's like this. Lord Okawa-ryu's work is almost done, so our Deputy Minister Roku-tsubo asked me to come and help out at Lord Kun-guna's place."
Liu Zheng explained.
"Then you should go to the massage parlor. What are you doing here?"
“The pressure in the service department is greater than in the massage department, so I think you need my help more.”
He said.
"hehe."
The deputy minister looked at him with a cold smile.
"I'll give you three seconds to get out of my sight. Otherwise, I'll have to have Minister Thirteen recruit another new person."
she said coldly.
The chosen waiters were all seething with anger, and she was no exception.
"You like counting to three so much, you didn't migrate from Sichuan, did you?"
Liu Zheng raised an eyebrow.
"What did you say?"
"It's nothing. I'm short on time, so I'll just get straight to the point. I need to serve that Kunnagu in place of Wanzi."
He said.
"Who do you think you are, to dare point fingers at me?"
The deputy minister looked at him as if he were an idiot.
“Even if Minister Thirteen comes, he can’t interfere in the internal affairs of our Service Department. Yiji, don’t think that just because you have a brother-in-law in the City Hall, you can do whatever you want in the Service Department.”
She changed the subject and looked at Yaoji.
"You'd better give me a reasonable explanation, or you'll be next."
The deputy minister said.
"The reasonable explanation is that I held a knife to her neck and forced her to bring me here. Are you satisfied with that answer?"
Liu Zheng suddenly pulled out a butcher's knife and held it to Yaoji's neck.
To make it look realistic, he even made a shallow cut.
"I'm not satisfied. So, you can die now."
As soon as the vice minister finished speaking, his right hand suddenly disappeared.
The next second, it appeared above Liu Zheng's head.
Fingers as white as scallions sprouted nails over ten centimeters long, as hard as steel and as sharp as knives, like five miniature daggers.
Before his hand even landed, the sharpness of the claws had already drawn blood from his scalp.
"We're all colleagues, why fight and kill each other? Let's value harmony."
Liu Zheng raised his butcher's knife, blocking the vice minister's claws.
However, his strength was no match for his opponent's, and he watched as the claws slowly descended.
"Didn't you draw your sword first?"
The deputy minister sneered.
"What I did was nothing more than a petty trick of calling a deer a horse; how could you not see through it?"
"Since you know it's a trick, then don't show it off. I hate people who flaunt their cleverness."
The deputy minister remained unmoved.
"So, do you hate money?"
Liu Zheng asked.
"What do you mean?"
The deputy minister's hand paused for a moment.
"It's just a small thing."
He took the opportunity to pull out a thick wad of banknotes.
"Do you think I would accept a bribe in public?"
The vice minister was somewhat speechless.
"To ask you to save my life, that's a bribe. To ask you to give my life is just a gift."
"Look at her, pale and thin, short legs and small breasts, with pimples on her face. You really want to send someone like that to serve His Excellency Kunnagu? Aren't you afraid he'll be angry?"
Liu Zheng pointed at Wan Zi and said.
"That's going too far. They're nowhere near that bad."
Wanzi muttered softly.
"Look at me again, with my long arms and wasp waist, my sword-like eyebrows and bright eyes, my hot biceps, and my sexy glutes."
