Hell Game: Starting from Metropolis

If it weren't for the large hole in the door, Anke would have almost thought he was hallucinating.
"father!"
Nina threw herself into his arms.
A trace of fear lingered on her little face, but there was more excitement than fear.
"Nina, what happened?"
Anko touched her head and asked.
“Just now, a huge monster broke down the door. It tried to rush in and bite us, so Mr. Cat went over and slapped it away.”
Nina mimicked the movements of a calico cat, gesturing as she spoke.
"It's Ms. Cat."
Anke corrected his youngest daughter's way of addressing her while looking at the calico cat.
The hero who had driven off the beast was now squatting on the ground, carefully examining his claws, which still bore traces of dark yellow blood.
The calico cat leaned closer to sniff it, then turned its head away in disgust.
"Meow~"
It called out to Anko.
"Are you calling me, Ms. Cat?"
Anko asked cautiously.
"Meow~"
The calico cat nodded and then raised its paw at him.
"This is the blood of a wild beast. The color indicates that it has entered a deep state of bestiality and has completely lost its humanity."
He explained.
"Meow!"
The calico cat meowed impatiently.
Clearly, it didn't want to know the meaning of the bloodstain.
"Ah, I see, you want to wash your paws?"
Anke realized what was happening and said.
"Meow~"
The calico cat nodded.
"Okay, okay, please wait a moment, I'll get you some clean water right away."
An Ke was even more respectful than when he was with Liu Zheng.
After all, compared to a cat that can fight and understand human speech, a strong man who can scale a city wall with his bare hands is nothing.
Soon, he brought over a large bowl filled with water, and also tore off a piece of his own clothing to use as a towel.
"Meow~"
The calico cat glanced at the water, then at Nina who had been staring at it, and nodded towards her.
"Do you want Nina to wipe your feet?"
Anke asked.
"Meow?"
The calico cat tilted its head, as if asking if it was not allowed.
"Of course, it would be her honor."
Anke quickly replied.
"Nina, come quickly and help Ms. Cat wipe her feet. Be careful and gentle, okay?"
Without him even giving a command, Nina cheered and ran to the calico cat, then squatted down.
One chubby little hand held the cat's paw pad, while the other chubby little hand held a cloth and carefully wiped it, its expression both focused and happy.
"This little guy isn't this attentive when he wipes my face."
Anke, standing to the side, was even a little jealous.
The calico cat seemed to enjoy it even more, lying down and turning its belly up.
The mother and daughter cooking in the kitchen, the little girl playing with the cat, and the old father watching from the side—if you ignored the grotesque hole in the door, it would have been a truly heartwarming scene.
"What just happened?"
Liu Zheng's voice broke the warmth.
"Ah, a wild beast just broke down the door, but Lady Cat fought it off."
Anke quickly replied.
"Oh, the salmon is really good."
He praised it.
"Meow~"
The calico cat, with its eyes closed, let out a smug meow.
Unlike Anke, who was easily flustered by concern, Liu Zheng waited until all ten barrels of "Uncle Pepper" were packed into the portable cold storage before slowly walking up.
He wasn't entirely sure of the calico cat's strength, but it was definitely stronger than him without using any tools. Dealing with these mindless beasts would be as easy as a cat catching a mouse.
Of course, not like the kind in comedy cartoons.
"Mr. Liu Zheng, have you finished filling the bottles?"
Anke asked.
"It's all installed."
He nodded.
"Let's set off now. The gate has been broken down, and I'm afraid it will attract more wild beasts."
Anko suggested.
He didn't know how Liu Zheng managed to load it without a vehicle, but he chose not to ask.
"The food should be ready soon, right?"
"It should be ready soon, but are you sure you want to eat here?"
Anke asked speechlessly.
"Of course, I don't like eating while walking; it's bad for my stomach."
Liu Zheng said in a very serious tone.
"Okay, okay."
Anke said with a troubled expression.
"It's okay, just plug up that hole."
He noticed Anke's displeasure and spoke up.
"Then I'll go get some planks."
Anko sighed.
Original wooden doors are the hardest; adding them later will definitely not be as effective.
But since this outsider was so persistent, there was nothing he could do.
After all, he couldn't beat the other party, and he also needed the other party to escort his family.
"No need to bother."
Liu Zheng shook his head, then picked up a stool, walked to the door, sat down, and used his back to block the hole in the door.
"See, that blocks it. My body is much stronger than a wooden board."
He said with a proud look on his face.
The wooden planks may break, but his body can regenerate.
Of course, Liu Zheng didn't think those wild beasts could beat him to a pulp.
Even cattle and horses could only break his ribs, so it's too much to ask of these rotten fish and shrimp.
"Wow, you're really big."
After struggling for a while, Anke finally managed to come up with a completely nonsensical compliment.
What could he say? The other person had already used their own body as a shield; saying anything more would only make him seem like he had ulterior motives.
"Thank you. The main thing is to eat more, practice more, and fight more. There's no other secret."
Liu Zheng said earnestly.
"Okay, okay. Um, Marian, is the food ready?"
Anke really didn't know how to respond, so he quickly changed the subject and went to the kitchen.
Watching his retreating figure as if he were running away, Liu Zheng smiled, then looked at the two little ones.
Nina was busy wiping the calico cat's paws and stroking its fur.
His gaze fell downwards, landing on the basin of water.
The dark yellow blood dissolved in the water and then slowly spread, turning the entire basin of water a pale yellow.
Liu Zheng frowned slightly; with such a small amount of blood, it shouldn't have achieved this effect at all.
Clearly, the blood of these wild beasts is not normal.
If wild animals are all transformed from humans, then is it these blood mutations that cause humans to become wild animals, or is it that humans becoming wild animals causes blood mutations?
"Mr. Liu Zheng, the meal is ready."
Anke's shouts interrupted his thoughts.
"Oh well."
Liu Zheng nodded, but did not get up.
Aren't you coming to eat?
Anke asked.
"It's okay, I'll just eat here, I'm used to it."
Anyway, when he was in the restaurant, he ate sitting on a small stool.
“That won’t do. It’s too impolite to leave a guest to eat alone. Marian, please move the table over there.”
Anke and his wife moved the table in front of Liu Zheng, and then brought out the food and drinks.
The main dish is stewed vegetables with meat, the staple food is mashed potatoes, adults drink beer, and children drink sweet wine.
"really not bad."
Liu Zheng sniffed and nodded in satisfaction.
If you're talking about taste, it definitely can't compare to the staff meals at the Bloody Restaurant.
But if you're talking about a sense of security, it's much better than the staff meals.
At least he doesn't have to see the product description to decide whether to eat it or not.
Liu Zheng picked up a spoon, about to scoop himself a spoonful of broth, when he suddenly turned to the side, revealing the hole in the bowl.
Just as everyone was wondering what was happening, he swiftly extended a tentacle and pulled in the head of a hairy beast.
