This tells the history of Pokai Village. The village chief's ancestor defeated the Tyrannosaurus Rex and chased the Collapse Dragon all the way to the Frasia Mountains. He is also the master of the giant sword in the cave of Pokai Village. In addition, there is a legend of two gods, one black and one white. When the two gods form two walls, the mountains will collapse and the world will crumble. The black one will become the overlord, and the white one will collapse.

This story is about the Bakuro, known as the White Snow God, which dwells deep in the snow-capped mountains and looks more like a Fanged Wyvern. However, the arrival of the young girl has awakened it from its slumber.

On the other side, Elkameya also led the hunters to the underground river. The Hunter's Guild quickly set up a supply point at the entrance of the river to transport supplies. Mining hunters would then clear a path below, chiseling off the pale blue crystals on the walls and sending them to the academic research institute for study. Of course, there was also the mysterious white-gold powder in the underground cavern, which might be the culprit that caused the Lao-Shan Lung to migrate.

Volume 1: Chapter 162 - New Outpost Unlocked

Inside the vast underground cavern, scholars and members of the scribes were recording the underground scene. Neither the scribes nor the scholars could imagine that such a place existed beneath East Dorma. The magnificent dome and the diverse minerals on the ground captivated them. As for the dark purple scales in the center of the cavern, they recognized them as the product of the Black Erosion Dragon, but they had never seen the pale blue crystals and platinum powder before.

With the help of professionals, the hunters collected both colors of powder from the ground. However, the scholars were more interested in the pale blue crystals than the strange powders.

"This is it, this purity, this energy."

"What's wrong? Is there something wrong with these crystals?" The members of the Scribe Team didn't notice anything amiss. The Scribe Team's main job was to investigate, record, and study the ecology and habits of monsters, so they weren't particularly sensitive to ores.

"These crystals contain pure life energy, and judging from the traces here, there was a fight between monsters, probably for these crystals. Fortunately, we have a hunter team. If the Black Eclipse Dragon were here, the consequences might not be so good."

"That means there is another creature competing with the Black Devouring Dragon for these life crystals. So these platinum powders might be the secretions of that other creature. But what kind of monster could secrete such powder?"

The Elkameya squad's mission this time was to protect the safety of the scholars and members of the Scribes, so they immediately entered the underground cavern to patrol and set up a guard post.

"Captain Elkameya, do you think that platinum powder might be some kind of secretion from the Lao-Shan Lung? The Lao-Shan Lung and the Black Eclipse Lung fought here, and then..." Giger looked around.

The environment offered its own perspective: the visible broken pale blue stone pillars in the underground cavern, the collapsed pits on the ground, and the claw marks on the walls all seemed to indicate that a battle had taken place here.

In reality, the broken light blue stone pillar was shot down by the little girl's light cannon. After all, these dragon crystals were also a tonic for her. The sinkholes on the ground were also the work of the light cannon. As for the claw marks on the wall, they were left by her sharpening her claws when she had nothing to do.

Compared to a novice hunter like Giger, Elkameya naturally considered things more carefully. She said disdainfully, "Then Lao-Shan Lung was defeated and fled. You've seen the Lao-Shan Lung that appeared over there. Judging from its head-to-body ratio, Lao-Shan Lung is at least 65 meters long, while that Black Eclipse Dragon, even with its exceptional talent, is at most 20 meters long now. You're saying that if such an ancient dragon were to fight the Black Eclipse Dragon, the result would be that Lao-Shan Lung would be defeated."

Elkamea's voice rose several octaves by the end, and Giger, embarrassed, avoided her gaze. He realized he had spoken somewhat thoughtlessly, but he still didn't understand why Elkamea always treated him so coldly, even though she was quite nice to Kanon and Sakhodi. Giger muttered, "The reports from the New World all say that the Black Devouring Dragon is excessively strong; that possibility certainly exists."

“Look at the color of that powder. How could a Black Eclipse Dragon produce powder of that color? Besides, we haven’t found any trace of the Black Eclipse Dragon. Lao-Shan Lung migrated, and the Black Eclipse Dragon disappeared. Do you think things are that simple?”

"Could there be a third dragon?" Giger suddenly had a flash of inspiration and immediately voiced his guess. Elkameya angrily kicked Giger and cursed, "Can't you think of something useful? If you said that the Steel Dragon might be here too, I would kick your ass hard."

Gig knew that Elkameya could definitely do it, so to protect his backside, Gig chose to keep quiet. The exploration mission was completed quickly, and to their surprise, although they found many traces, no creatures lived there.

Back at the Hunter's Guild Hall, after verification by scholars, those pale blue crystals were confirmed to be dragon crystals. Similar crystals also exist in the New World. The earliest investigation report stated that the Elder Dragon Recess in the New World contained a massive amount of dragon crystals, and the Elder Dragon King, Xeno'jiiva, was born in the Elder Dragon Recess. According to the New World Survey Team's investigation, Xeno'jiiva was premature, and it was only because of the hunters' arrival that Xeno'jiiva was exposed to them.

One of Xeno'jiiva's special abilities is to actively absorb ley line energy, allowing them to absorb more and faster than other monsters. According to scholars, they can eat their way to an Arch-Tempered individual in one go. As the culprit behind the shortened Elder Dragon crossing cycle, it also absorbs a large amount of ley line energy. Even if one is not skilled in combat techniques and mastery of ley lines, Xeno'jiiva is still an extremely dangerous creature.

However, since only the Dragon Academy and the Royal Scholars Team in the Old Continent received reports about the Black Eclipse Dragon, and the investigation reports about the Black Eclipse Dragon from the New Continent did not spread in the Old Continent, the scholars did not connect the matter of the Black Eclipse Dragon to this.

After finishing the escort mission, Elkameya's squad was drinking in the meeting place when Keo staggered in. Most of his armor was burned off, and his spear was broken. Keo greeted the receptionist at the counter and sat down. Soon, a large plate of spicy stir-fried armored dragon meat, golden pork chop rice, and dragon meat soup stew was served. After wolfing it down, Keo finally regained his energy. He drank vodka while thinking about something.

"Hey, Keo, what kind of monster have you run into?" Keo smiled and raised his glass to clink glasses with the Elkameya squad as they approached.

"Long time no see, Miss Elkameya. As luck would have it, I encountered a subspecies of the Armored Dragon, the Black Armored Dragon. But as you know, I was on a mission. I followed the migration trail of the Lao-Shan Lung and eventually found the place where the Lao-Shan Lung's trail disappeared. However, I found a cave there. Unfortunately, the cave was very deep. I threw a flashbang down to take a look, but not only did I not see clearly what was below, I also startled the Black Armored Dragon next to me. You know, the Armored Dragon is different from the Rock Dragon. Its breath is very powerful, which is why I turned into this."

Elkameya licked the beer foam from her lips and said, "We didn't find the Black Eclipse Dragon either, but we discovered an interesting place. It's an underground space with traces of the Black Eclipse Dragon. There, we found the Black Eclipse Dragon's Mad Dragon Virus and secretions from an unknown monster. According to the scholars, that underground space is a very magical place."

"A magical place?" Hunters are always like this; they have no resistance to mystery and the unknown.

"There are large amounts of ore underground, including ore known as dragon crystal, and according to scholars, the Black Eclipse Dragon also fought with an unknown monster."

 PS: First update!

PS2: The Iceborne concept art also revealed some possible close relatives of Safi'jiiva. These are four-legged, two-winged ancient dragons that resemble Safi'jiiva in appearance but have a black color scheme. I really like the ninth design option, and I think it's worth considering for shaping the protagonist's final form.

Volume 1: Chapter 163 - The Absolute Strongest in the Snowfield

The Tigrex roars like thunder. Its ancestor is the extinct Rex Wyvern, and compared to other wyverns, the Tigrex retains the most of the Rex Wyvern's physiological characteristics.

The village chief of Bokai Village issued an urgent request.

[Stop the Raid of the Tigrex]

For some unknown reason, the Tigrex, which originally only appeared in desert areas, has also appeared in snow-capped mountains, dense forests, volcanoes, and shrublands near deserts. The appearance of the Tigrex means that the local ecosystem is on the verge of destruction. As soon as the Tigrex sets foot on this snowy and frozen land, it immediately begins its gluttonous behavior.

Tigrex is a true carnivore, ferocious by nature. When hunting, it uses its speed and strength to chase its prey, and few creatures can escape its pursuit. This is why Pokai Village issued this quest. If the Tigrex is ignored, the consequences will be severe. The Tigrex must be hunted down before things escalate further; otherwise, either the Tigrex or Pokai Village will be lost.

At the foot of the snow-capped mountain, due to the ancient snow accumulation, the surrounding terrain features have become less distinct. However, because of the relatively advantageous location of Pokai Village, the mountains near Pokai Village are not rugged, and the roads leading up the mountain are not difficult to traverse. The katana hunter, Reiga, who accepted the commission, tightened his goggles. Without wearing goggles, Reiga was certain that he would develop snow blindness before he even found the Tigrex.

While looking through the map, Leijia said to Thorshe, "According to the village chief's description, the Tigrex did not try to escape to the outer areas after that, but instead went deep into the snowfield."

"Is it really on this mountain?" Thorshe rubbed his eyes. As the saying goes, "looking at a mountain makes a horse run itself to death." Looking at the rolling mountains and the snow that never melts, Thorshe initially had the idea of playing in the snow, but now he just wanted to slap his past self a few hours ago.

Kelly laughed and said, "You just couldn't control your urge to play in the snow. Let us go first, you can play a little longer."

 Thorsheth offered a sophistry.

Suddenly, Lei Jia heard a sound. He looked in the direction from which the sound came and warned them that there were enemies.

 "Chirp, chirp, chirp chirp."

A group of monsters almost as tall as Leijia and Keles were running towards them. "It's a White Velociraptor." The White Velociraptor, a member of the Velociraptor family, mainly lives in icy regions. As a bird wyvern, compared to other Velociraptor species like the Blue Velociraptor and Red Velociraptor, its scales are white, and its middle toe claw on its forelimbs is exceptionally well-developed and ice-blue. In addition, the White Velociraptor has an extra organ in its body that can store ice liquid, so it can use its breath and hunt with ice liquid.

“The Velocidrome is here too.” Keles whispered to Reiga. After Reiga nodded, Holt immediately fired a flashbang. Taking advantage of the Velocidrome’s loss of consciousness, Reiga drew his katana and swung it at the Velocidrome. Keles, Thorshe, and Holt rushed towards the three Velocidromes beside them. After some practice, their teamwork was excellent. Before the Velocidrome could react, Reiga launched as many attacks as possible, intending to finish the hunt in one go.

After a step-and-straight slash, Reiga unleashed his second attack, followed by a Kasaya Slash, and then three Spirit Blade Slashes. At this moment, Velocidrome finally regained consciousness. As it did so, Velocidrome leaped at Reiga, who quickly rolled to the side to dodge its attack.

At this moment, only Velocidrome remained on the field. Seeing its subordinate killed, Velocidrome roared and charged towards Reiga. Keles immediately raised his heavy crossbow and fired three slicing bullets at Velocidrome. After the slicing bullets stuck to Velocidrome, they dealt multiple slicing damage. Thorshe raised his hammer and smashed it down hard on Velocidrome's head, and Velocidrome fell to the ground.

The thigh meat of the White Velocidrome is a very delicious ingredient, and Leijia would not let it go. After dealing with the White Velocidrome, Leijia and the others continued to move forward. Not far from where they were hunting the White Velocidrome, a Tigrex slid in. Cough cough. Tigrex does not mind exposing its body during the hunt, so it will swagger in front of its prey, and then the prey is right in front of its mouth. Tigrex's best hunting method is to ambush on steep cliffs. Once it sees its prey passing below, it will open its body and pounce.

The group of Pidgeys happened to arrive at the Tigrex's ambush site. The Tigrex immediately opened its mouth wide and pounced. Unexpectedly, the Pidgeys didn't run away but instead retreated in unison. The Tigrex quickly used its front paws to brake, then charged towards the largest Pidgey on all fours, slapping it with its powerful winged feet. The poor Pidgey was knocked to the ground by the Tigrex. Then, the Tigrex pinned the Pidgey down firmly with its front paws and bit into its vulnerable belly. The Pidgey quickly lost its life.

The Tigrex lowered its body and tore into Bobo's flesh. The warm flesh and blood brought the Tigrex a feeling of fullness and satisfaction. While eating, the Tigrex suddenly realized that there was a little guy next to it. The Tigrex turned its body around, opened its big mouth and roared at the little guy.

 obedient young girl

Peeking out from the bushes, the girl saw the colorful Tigrex roaring at her. A flash of blue light, and the little girl immediately pounced on the Tigrex. As a fighting, fun-loving flying wyvern, the Tigrex opened its mouth to bite the Black Eclipse Wyvern. However, the Black Eclipse Wyvern used its weight advantage to stomp the Tigrex into the snow. The Tigrex Wyvern naturally wouldn't give up easily. It immediately tried to flip over and pin the Black Eclipse Wyvern down, while constantly biting at the Black Eclipse Wyvern's throat and abdomen.

The two giant beasts rolled around in the snow. The Black Devourer took two bites but missed the Thunder Dragon. It lowered its wing claws from its shoulder and pressed the Thunder Dragon firmly into the snow. Before the Thunder Dragon could react, the Black Devourer released the Thunder Dragon, flapped its wings and flew into the air. At the same time, it opened its mouth and spewed out a large cloud of thick fog, causing the Mad Dragon Virus to explode instantly.

After being slapped twice by the Black Devourer and then bombarded by the Mad Dragon Virus, the Tigrex was about to retaliate when the Black Devourer swooped down from above and pinned it to the ground, its wing claws snapping the Tigrex's spine.

Tigrex meat doesn't taste very good. The most common way hunters prepare it is by smoking or grilling. Tigrex is very active and muscular, so the flavor after smoking is extremely popular with hunters. However, the meat of a monster like Tigrex is not something that ordinary hunters can eat.

The young girl tore off pieces of meat from the Tigrex and chewed them. The tail and hind legs were the parts she liked the most. As for the forelimbs and wing membranes, the forelimbs had too much fascia in their muscles, and the wing membranes, due to the Tigrex's high level of exercise, had a texture even more rubbery than rubber.

When Leijia and his team of hunters arrived, they were completely bewildered by the scene of devastation. They could only see the corpse of the Popo, which had stained the snow red, and the chewed remains of a Tigrex. Just as the three of them were wondering what had happened, a dark shadow flew overhead. Before Leijia could even look up and see what it was, a blast of wind flew over.

Volume 1: Chapter 164 - Ancient Tree Forest, Rainy Night, Five Purples and One Cat

The reason why Team Lega was attacked was because Miss Steel Dragon was a little shy after molting.

Standing atop the snow-capped mountain, the biting wind made it easier for Miss Steel Dragon to shed her dark brown outer skin. She arched her back with effort, and with a few sharp cracking sounds, she twisted her body, then arched her back, breaking through the rusty outer skin to reveal a new, silvery-white outer layer. Next, her wings peeled away from the dark brown shell, followed by her limbs and head. Upon contact with the air, the bright metallic color of the silvery-white skin spread like ink on rice paper, rapidly starting from her head and gradually extending to her neck. Soon, the entire surface of Miss Steel Dragon's skin had turned a bright metallic color.

The Steel Dragon, having shed its rusty outer skin, gazed contentedly at its gleaming surface. Narrow gaps between its shells allowed it to unleash powerful jets of air, creating a blizzard before flapping its wings and departing from the mountaintop. Steel Dragons have a wide range of habitats; sightings have been reported in rainforests, snowfields, and even high mountains. However, their primary diet consists of various minerals, so they prefer to inhabit areas rich in mineral resources, ideally on a wide, well-ventilated mountaintop—perfect if it has its own updrafts.

Compared to other Elder Dragons, Kushala Daora is more docile and less aggressive. However, low aggression does not mean low harm. Kushala Daora's appearance always brings natural disasters such as storms and heavy rains. If these things happen in the snowy mountains, they will become snowstorms and hail.

Leijia couldn't believe they'd encountered a Kushala Daora on their way to handle a Tigrex request. Judging from their recent meeting, the Kushala Daora hadn't noticed the four-person team on the ground; it seemed it was just casually firing its air blasts. Watching the tornado-like vortex whip up a pile of snow and ice, forming a beautiful snow column, Leijia's team simply thought they'd had a bad start, encountering misfortune right off the bat. Fortunately, the Kushala Daora wouldn't easily attack a creature it looked down on, so Leijia and his team were relatively safe.

"Pfft, cough cough, what happened? What was that just now, a fire dragon?"

After the snowstorm subsided, the four were already buried deep in the snow. Thorshes spat out the snow in his mouth and struggled to climb out of the snowdrift. Leiga, standing beside him, also emerged from the snowdrift, then struggled to pull himself out. After calling out softly for a while to confirm Holt and Keles' location, the two of them worked together to pull Holt and Keles out.

The four men kept rubbing their hands together as they struggled forward through the snow. The blizzard had buried the trail markers and signs on the ground, making it extremely difficult to find an area where they could set up camp and rest.

Before leaving, Leijia and Keles gathered up the corpses of Popo and the remains of the Tigrex. Holt and Thorshes made a sled to carry these items. They planned to find a place to camp and rest, as the biting cold was slowly freezing their muscle fibers under the chilling wind. The hunters knew...

They knew they had to act quickly, or they would be buried on the snow-capped mountains.

 "It's so cold, achoo!"

A gust of wind blew by, and two white eyebrows and transparent, shiny icicles appeared on Keles' face. At this moment, the hunters desperately needed hot drinks with lots of chili peppers and herbs to drive away the cold. Fortunately, they found a sheltered cave, and the four of them hurriedly hid inside. After frantically blocking the entrance, Holt immediately set up a stove, lit a fire, and boiled hot drinks. In the cold environment, hot drinks could greatly alleviate the effects of the cold.

"Laiga, what monster did you say killed the Tigrex? That's a Tigrex, the overlord of the snowfields," Keles said casually as he dissected Popo's corpse and the Tigrex's remains.

"I have no idea, but it must be a large monster. The Tigrex's spine was broken into five pieces, and judging from the tooth marks, it doesn't look like a Steel Dragon. I also heard from the village bard that Jiangbo Village was attacked by a Rusty Steel Dragon some time ago. I think this Steel Dragon may have come to the snow mountain to molt."

"Then can we go and look for the skin that the Steel Dragon shed? That's material from an Elder Dragon. If we could bring it back, that would be amazing." Holt immediately grasped the key point in Leijia's words. In the frozen tundra, you can indeed occasionally find the shed shells of Steel Dragons. Moreover, according to the members of the Scrivener team, sometimes you can even find strange dragon cubs in the shed shells of Steel Dragons.

Leijia sighed, determined to shatter Holt's unrealistic fantasy, and said earnestly, "Holt, I know it's Elder Dragon material, but the place where Steel Dragons shed their skin is usually at the top of a snowy mountain. Not to mention whether we can find that place, even if we do, we may not be able to bring it down. Now that the Tigrex has been dealt with by chance, the first thing we need to do is return to Pokai Village to submit the quest. In addition, the Tigrex's materials are enough for us to upgrade our armor. I think we should go down the mountain as soon as possible to finish the quest."

As for why Holt had such an idea, we have to ask about the Sky Comet, which ranked 4th in the "Monster General Election" popularity ranking held during the 20th anniversary of the Monster Hunter series. When the Sky Comet flies at supersonic speed, some of the aging shells on its body will fall off due to the air resistance and then fall to the ground at an extremely high speed. In addition, the Sky Comet's scales are very hard, so it will smash a crater the size of a person in the ground. Of course, this seems very gentle compared to the Bazelgeuse.

Moreover, this is material from the Sky Comet Dragon. Even if you don't use it yourself, you can still make money by selling it. In fact, the probability of winning this is not much different from buying a lottery ticket. Besides, no one can guarantee that a Sky Comet Dragon scale won't hit them.

Pokai Village is a warm village located in the snow-capped mountains, covered in snow all year round. It is said that Pokai Village was established here because the first village chief of Pokai Village was once a hunter. During the battle with Ulva Dragon, the hunter's hunting mission was abruptly cut off by an accident. So, in order to monitor Ulva Dragon and deliver the final blow to it, the village was established here.

According to the elders of Pokai Village, during the battle between the village chief and the Ulva, the village had the upper hand at one point. However, just as the village chief was about to deliver the final blow, a massive avalanche occurred, trapping the Ulva deep within the Frasia Mountains. The village chief believed that the Ulva's fate was unknown, but he was confident that another opportunity to subdue it would arise. Thus, he established Pokai Village there, and his wish was that even if he died, someone would take on the responsibility of establishing the village and completely defeat the Ulva.

Meanwhile, deep within the Frasia Mountains, the Collapse Dragon was moving beneath the ice, swallowing the ice shards and snowflakes it knocked down along the way.

PS: First update! The very first update!

PS2: The Rusty Dragon is designed to be resistant to lightning but weak to water. The reason is that rusting reduces the electrical conductivity of iron, and a humid environment promotes rusting.

Volume 1: Chapter 165 - The God of Collapse from the Extreme Heavens

Ukamurubas, the Ukamurubas has an extremely ferocious nature and is hostile to everything. Whether it is an Elder Dragon or a village, as long as it is found in its territory, the Ukamurubas will crush any creature or obstacle that stands in its way. When the Black Eclipse Dragon appeared in the snowy tundra to prey on the Tigrex, the Ukamurubas already remembered her.

In terms of appearance, the Ubume and the Tyrannosaurus are similar. Both are considered to be older flying dragons than the Rex Flying Dragon. They are dragons that evolved in different directions. The most obvious feature of the Ubume is its huge and well-developed jaw, which is like a shovel. It is both sharp and heavy. The Ubume uses it to dig through thick ice layers and move or swim under the ice. The Ubume has countless hard and huge dorsal fins on its back. The blades of the fins also have serrated protrusions. The Ubume uses these to break through the ice surface. In addition, the smaller structure on its abdomen can also play a role in preventing slipping on the ice surface.

The little girl's snow mountain trip also

It wasn't over yet. She was chewing on snow deer at the foot of the snow mountain. These snow deer were larger than elf deer, and their meat was more tender, seemingly because they lived in the snowfields.

With a loud "boom," the Benglong burst through the ice and emerged. The little girl, with snow deer meat in her mouth, stared blankly at the massive creature before her, which was as huge as a mountain. If they weren't so far apart, the Benglong wouldn't even be able to see her. The Benglong took a deep breath, stood up, and its powerful lung capacity allowed it to unleash a roar like an explosive shockwave. At the same time as the Benglong roared, the little girl rapidly transformed into the form of a Black Erosion Dragon in the blue light, also letting out a thunderous roar.

The Collapse Dragon stood up first, then suddenly crouched down and pounced on the Black Eclipse Dragon. Sensing the Collapse Dragon's attack, the Black Eclipse Dragon quickly jumped back, dodging the Collapse Dragon's lunge. At this moment, the Collapse Dragon slightly raised its head and used immense pressure to spew out the ice shards and snow foam stored in its abdomen, forming a white torrent from top to bottom. The Black Eclipse Dragon flapped its wings and claws, flying into the air and dodging the Collapse Dragon's absolute zero breath. Just as the Black Eclipse Dragon was about to pounce on the Collapse Dragon, the Collapse Dragon had already used its massive jaws to scoop up huge blocks of ice and hurled them at the Black Eclipse Dragon.

The Black Eclipse Dragon folded its claws and dodged the ice block thrown by the Collapse Dragon. The ice block smashed against the mountain wall and turned into tiny ice crystals. "Roar~" The Black Eclipse Dragon rammed into the Collapse Dragon. However, the Collapse Dragon's carapace had withstood the freezing cold and had slowly absorbed minerals over the long years, resulting in an astonishing hardness. Sparks flew as the two hard scales rubbed against each other, but in the end, the Black Eclipse Dragon's multi-layered composite scales were still superior.

This was the first time the Dragon Head had been at a disadvantage in the fight. It stood up angrily and let out a deafening roar. The Black Devouring Dragon spewed several clouds of thick mist at the Dragon Head, but the Dragon Head swung its tail and kicked up a pile of snow to block the explosion of the mist. The Black Devouring Dragon shook its body, shaking off the snow that had been shaken off by the Dragon Head's roar. A large amount of Berserk Virus was pumped into its heart, and it let out a high-pitched roar, entering Berserk state. Its wing claws lowered, and the tentacles on its head rose up. Unlike before, the Black Devouring Dragon's tentacles had changed. They were no longer the curved horns, but rather horns composed of several scales that shot upwards.

The Black Eclipse Dragon spread its wings and claws and pounced on the Collapse Dragon. The black and purple wings and claws struck the Collapse Dragon's dorsal fin, creating sparks. The Collapse Dragon didn't care that the Black Eclipse Dragon attacked its dorsal fin. Although part of the serrated protrusions on its dorsal fin were broken by the Black Eclipse Dragon's wings and claws, it used its limbs to forcefully ram into the Black Eclipse Dragon at a relatively fast speed. At the same time, the Collapse Dragon's forepaws had drill-like piercing claws that instantly pierced into the Black Eclipse Dragon's soft abdomen, and dark purple dragon blood gushed out.

"Awooo~" The Black Eclipse Dragon let out a painful shriek and quickly jumped away from the Collapse Dragon. The Collapse Dragon had already stood up and once again spewed out absolute zero breath from left to right. The Black Eclipse Dragon jumped out of the Collapse Dragon's attack range. Seeing that the attack missed, the Collapse Dragon used its jaw to burrow under the ice and used its dorsal fin to break through the ice surface and quickly swim towards the Black Eclipse Dragon. The Collapse Dragon suddenly rushed out of the ice, but the Black Eclipse Dragon had already anticipated this and dodged the Collapse Dragon's attack.

The Umbral Dragon stood up again and roared at the Black Eclipse Dragon. The Black Eclipse Dragon responded with a high-pitched roar. The Umbral Dragon swung its forepaws and bit at the Black Eclipse Dragon at a fast speed. The Umbral Dragon's fighting style was simple and brutal, with wide and powerful attacks. Its monstrous strength and huge body gave it destructive power that was no less than that of an Elder Dragon.

The Black Eclipse Dragon leaped aside and spewed three clouds of dense mist at the Collapse Dragon. The Collapse Dragon countered with its Absolute Zero Breath, freezing the Black Eclipse Dragon's mist. The Collapse Dragon charged at the Black Eclipse Dragon in its dragon chariot. The Black Eclipse Dragon raised its wing claws high and slammed them down. The two giant beasts grappled in the most primal way. The Collapse Dragon had the advantage in ground control, and the Black Eclipse Dragon's wing claws and fan blades had only a weak effect on the Collapse Dragon. Moreover, the Collapse Dragon had a high resistance to the Mad Dragon and had not shown any signs of poisoning so far.

The Black Eclipse Dragon gripped the Collapse Dragon tightly, trying to pin it to the ground. Its wing claws tore off several scales from the Collapse Dragon's body, while the Collapse Dragon struggled frantically. Several Absolute Zero Breaths flew past the Black Eclipse Dragon, almost hitting it. The wound on the Black Eclipse Dragon's abdomen had begun to heal, and blood was still seeping out, but it was not as bad as before.

The fight between the two dragons had just left the Black Eclipse Dragon with many more wounds. Its wing membranes were torn, and the scales on its wing claws, abdomen, and tail had been bitten off by the Collapse Dragon, revealing pale blue scales underneath. The scales turned crimson upon contact with the air, and then turned blackish-purple. After a fierce battle, the Black Eclipse Dragon suddenly spewed a large cloud of thick mist at the Collapse Dragon and the ground beneath it. The mist shattered the ice surface, and the Black Eclipse Dragon took the opportunity to create distance between itself and the Collapse Dragon.

The Benglong looked towards the Black Eclipse Dragon's location, leaped high forward, and pounced on it. The Black Eclipse Dragon had no choice but to jump to the side. After the Benglong landed, it immediately used Iron Mountain Lean to ram into it, while simultaneously turning around and sweeping its wing claws horizontally, fiercely attacking the Benglong. The sharp fan-shaped scales on its wing claws merely sparked at the Benglong's scales. Its spiky tail lashed out at the Benglong, but because of the spiky claws and belly of the Benglong, it only took a few steps back after being hit by the Black Eclipse Dragon's tail swipe. The Benglong then bit at the Black Eclipse Dragon, and the Black Eclipse Dragon also extended its wing claws to pounce on the Benglong. However, the Benglong's body was almost entirely covered by thick scales, while the Black Eclipse Dragon's belly was bitten with several more wounds.

Like the Brachydios, the Ubume has exoskeleton teeth, but unlike the Brachydios, the Ubume has real teeth inside its mouth. As for what the Ubume eats, that remains unknown.

 Black Eclipse Dragon

The head without eyes stared intently at the Ubume, a pale blue light illuminating its chest. Before the Ubume could even understand what was happening, pale blue flames erupted from the Black Eclipse Dragon's tentacles, claws, tail, and limbs. Pale blue flames surged from its mouth and then struck the Ubume's dorsal fin. The dorsal fin, capable of breaking through ice, was instantly melted by the pale blue flames, revealing the blue fat and bones inside.

With a scream, the Black Eclipse Dragon bit down hard on the exposed flesh of the Benglong, shaking its head frantically, trying to break the Benglong's spine. The Benglong also felt its life slipping away, frantically shaking its body to try to pin the Black Eclipse Dragon down, while continuously spewing out absolute zero breath. However, the Black Eclipse Dragon was on the Benglong's back, making it difficult for the Benglong to attack. What the Black Eclipse Dragon didn't expect was that the Benglong would once again burrow under the ice. However, without the help of its dorsal fins, the Benglong's speed was significantly reduced.

The Black Eclipse Dragon unleashed a burst of light and flame at the spot where the Collapse Dragon had dived. The pale blue dragon flame struck the ice, instantly creating a cloud of steam. As the Black Eclipse Dragon continued its attack, the flame gradually condensed into thin lines. Just as the Collapse Dragon leaped out of the ice, the Black Eclipse Dragon swung its head across the ice, severing the Collapse Dragon's relatively soft belly and tail. The Black Eclipse Dragon then closed its mouth, and the thin dragon flame instantly ignited the ice, trapping the Collapse Dragon inside.

Next to greet the Collapse Dragon is the Black Eclipse Dragon's beam cannon.

P.S.: I've uploaded the pictures. My favorite is the design of Elder Dragon Seed 9; it's actually quite nice.

PS2: It seems that back in the 4G era, Ulva was accidentally labeled as an Elder Dragon.

 Volume 1: 166 - Crimson Meteor

The Collapse Dragon struggled to crawl out of the ice cave, and the Black Eclipse Dragon's beam of light then struck the Collapse Dragon's forelimb. The pale blue beam melted the scales on the Collapse Dragon's forelimb, revealing the pink flesh inside. With the Black Eclipse Dragon's suppression and the invasion of the Mad Dragon Virus, the Collapse Dragon's strength and endurance were also rapidly decreasing. So the Collapse Dragon once again breathed Absolute Zero at the Black Eclipse Dragon.

The Black Eclipse Dragon bit off the beam, then used its wing claws to drift a distance across the ice to dodge the Absolute Zero Breath of the U-dragon. After the beam was bitten off by the Black Eclipse Dragon, it detonated the ice again. After being bombarded several times, the U-dragon gasped for air in pain as its tail and abdomen were cut open. The Black Eclipse Dragon pounced and bit down hard on the U-dragon's throat, using its size advantage to pin the U-dragon firmly to the ground. The U-dragon instinctively swayed its body, trying to dodge the Black Eclipse Dragon's attacks.

Frustrated, the Benglong found itself unable to break free from the Black Devourer's attack. The Benglong charged forward with all its might, unleashing a breath of absolute zero. The white breath, mixed with ice and snow, struck the Black Devourer's wing claws. Taking advantage of the moment, the Black Devourer plunged its other wing claw into the Benglong's abdomen, while the ice-covered wing claw firmly held the Benglong's head in place.

As dragon blood gushed onto the ground like a hot spring, the resistance of the Collapsed Dragon gradually diminished. The Black Eclipse Dragon's wing claws had severed the Collapsed Dragon's carotid artery, and a large amount of dragon blood surged into its lungs. The Collapsed Dragon was about to stand up and roar when it unexpectedly spat out a stream of dragon blood as soon as it opened its mouth. Watching the Collapsed Dragon's life energy gradually dissipate, the Black Eclipse Dragon stood on the Collapsed Dragon's body, raised its head, and let out a high-pitched howl.

The Black Eclipse Dragon tore open the Uberosaurus's abdomen along the wound. Beneath the Uberosaurus's carapace was a thick layer of bluish-green fat, which not only provided insulation but also cushioned the Uberosaurus's fall. After tearing open the abdomen, the Black Eclipse Dragon bit into the Uberosaurus's heart.

She didn't forget about organs like the lungs and liver either. After eating the internal organs, the Black Devourer began to enjoy the tender meat from its abdomen, legs, and ribs. As for its tail, it put it away.

Finally, all that remained on the ice was a pile of broken skeletons and white scales, as well as the head and claws that the Black Devourer didn't want to eat. Well, there were also quite a few intestines and dragon blood left, which were parts that the young girl didn't like to eat. However, these remains were soon buried by the ice and snow.

In the dense forest, a massive black shadow lay silently in ambush amidst the lush vegetation, its crimson eyes gleaming in the darkness. A herd of elven deer grazed peacefully ahead of it. Instead of immediately leaping out to hunt, the shadow remained hidden, observing. Once no other predators of similar strength were nearby, the shadow approached the deer with near-silent speed, then leaped from the grass. Its sharp jaws pierced the deer's trachea, and the surviving deer scattered in all directions. The shadow did not pursue, but instead carried the deer to a high tree.

As a predator that resides in the woodlands, the Nargacuga has a slender body covered with a layer of dark blue fur. Its physique is more delicate than other flying dragon species. According to scholars, this is because the Nargacuga mainly lives in densely wooded areas. If it were too heavy, it would be difficult to move freely among the trees. The Nargacuga's dark blue fur serves as insulation, waterproofing, and camouflage, protecting it from the heat and humidity unique to the forest and dense woodlands.

Nargacuga are very cunning, and it is precisely because of this caution and cunning that they rarely hunt prey larger than elven deer. Nargacuga will also actively avoid conflicts with predators of the same kind. Nargacuga usually observe the tracks and activity patterns of large monsters in their hunting area, and then choose to enter their territory to hunt when dragons and other monsters are not at home. However, there are also records of Nargacuga launching a surprise attack on a knightly order during a training exercise, resulting in the complete annihilation of the order.

The Nargacuga's well-developed talons form a pair of powerful wing feet. Among the fingers supporting the wing membrane, the outermost one is particularly prominent and hard, and this one is also known as the blade wing. The Nargacuga can use the echo of its wing vibrations to navigate complex terrain and space, which gives it extraordinary perception. It can even detect traps set by hunters. When the Nargacuga enters an excited state, its facial skin and ears turn red, and its eyes glow. In the dark, hunters will only see two red streaks like shooting stars, which is why the Nargacuga is called the Red Shooting Star.
