Hakurei Shrine.

After several attempts to confirm that the evidence emanating from the dense green fog—evidence that she had been secretly eating Mokuhachi behind Reimu's back—was something only she could hear, Sanae finally felt relieved.

It wasn't that she didn't trust Marisa, but rather that the fewer people who knew about this, the safer it was.

Given Reimu's meticulous nature, she would be furious if she found out that someone had secretly cheated on her and was even foolishly counting money.

No one can guess what she will do then, and even if they could, there would be no way to stop her, who is almost invincible.

"This is so strange. We've searched the shrine thoroughly, but we haven't found any trace of Reimu or the incident. Could it be that, like the incident caused by the Earth Spirit Palace, the source is also underground?"

Marisa scratched her hair, holding her magic broom, and stood there. She actually wanted to leave the Hakurei Shrine.

No one can remain nonchalantly at their best friend's house and continue searching for her while constantly hearing evidence of them cheating on her with her fiancé.

This situation is no less than sitting on a bomb that could explode at any moment, and even blowing on the fuse to speed up the burning just for fun.

“I said Sanae…”

"what happened?"

"It seems unlikely we'll find anything by continuing the search. This thick green fog hasn't dissipated yet. Shall we retreat for now and observe the situation?"

"Hmm, what you said makes sense. Let's retreat for now."

"Let's go!"

Marisa rushed towards the shrine exit as if her butt was on fire.

If Sanae and her companions had observed carefully enough, they would have discovered that the green jewel that was originally placed in the shrine had disappeared, leaving only transparent fragments on the ground to prove that it had once existed.

Volume 4, *Anything Can Happen in Gensokyo*: Chapter 73, *Made in Gensokyo!* (Final Chapter)

It took Mu Huai three whole days to collect all the remaining monster materials, many of which broadened his horizons.

For example, the materials for Fujiwara no Mokou can actually leap like flames, while the materials for Yuyuko and Youmu Konpaku have a translucent texture unique to the underworld.

During this time, he also encountered quite a few monsters: a rather serious and upright Yama, a foolish emperor who misheard "hair growth potion" as "breast enhancement potion"...

Fortunately, he was quick-witted and his running speed was far beyond their reach.

He finally reached the end of his perilous journey of gathering materials, and looking at the long list of monsters, he breathed a sigh of relief.

"Finally, only one left, but... where is Reimu? Why haven't I seen her anywhere in Gensokyo?"

As he spoke, Mu Huai looked up at the green pillar of light that still stood in Gensokyo.

"So I guess I still have to go to Hakurei Shrine? But Sanae and Marisa both said they went several times and didn't see her."

Since it concerned his mission, even if Reimu wasn't actually at the Hakurei Shrine, Mu Huai still planned to go and check on her.

Driving to the foot of Mount Hakurei Shrine, he noticed that the beam of light that had originally enveloped the entire mountain seemed to have shrunk in size.

"What's going on? Does this mean Reimu has already resolved the incident and returned to the shrine?"

Confused, Mu Huai walked up the stone path, and as he went forward, the green beam of light gradually shrank in size.

Meanwhile, in the operating room at Eientei, Yakumo Ran stood nervously to the side, watching the light emanating from Yakumo Yukari's belly flash faster and faster. She could only put on sunglasses and ask Yagokoro Eirin.

"Is Lord Zi really alright?"

"Don't worry, the birth of a soul embryo is completely different from that of a normal baby. Compared to physical pain, the soul may suffer more. But Yukari Yakumo is smart and knows to put herself into a deep sleep in advance to avoid this pain."

"Are you saying that Lord Zi already knew about the pregnancy?"

"It's less about knowing and more about her instincts as a monster and a woman."

Eirin Yagokoro wasn't quite sure what methods the other party had used to conceive a soul embryo that only existed in book records, but she was certain that Yukari Yakumo's subconscious mind was more or less aware of the situation outside while she was asleep.

Otherwise, she wouldn't have been able to bypass her tricky gaps and passively defend herself, and conduct a physical examination and take her pulse.

"What should I do after Lord Zi's child is born?"

"I regret to inform you that there is nothing we can do. The soul embryo was born without a physical body, and there are very few records related to it. I will try my best to let her possess the body of the prepared doll and see if there is any way after Yakumo Yukari wakes up."

This time, Eirin Yagokoro's judgment was slightly flawed.

As the blinding light enveloped the entire operating room, everyone present heard a sound like a shell breaking from the depths of their souls. When they opened their eyes, a white, fuzzy infant phantom vanished in the blink of an eye.

Eirin Yagokoro hadn't even had a chance to bring the doll's body and let the soul embryo possess it.

"W-What happened?! Where is Lady Zi's child?!"

Yakumo Ran was so excited that she almost reverted to her nine-tailed fox form, but the familiar voice quickly calmed her down.

"Lan, I've told you to stay calm at all times!"

"But Lord Zi...you...you're awake!?"

Lying on the operating table, Yukari Yakumo had reverted to her usual mature and elegant self. While stroking Ran Yakumo, she thanked Eirin Yagokoro, saying, "Thank you for taking care of me during this time."

"During this time? I only took you in for three days. Before you came, you were most likely taken care of by Mu Huai. If you want to thank someone, thank him."

“Yes, Ran, come with me to the Hakurei Shrine.”

"Yes, Lord Zi!"

......

Rewinding to a few minutes before Yakumo Yukari awoke, Mu Huai successfully arrived at the Hakurei Shrine. As soon as he climbed the last step, he saw his three daughters, Qi Er Yi San 0=Si$ Jiu Qi Yi San Si, standing panting opposite Reimu, and was immediately filled with questions.

"Xiao Lan, Xiao Ye, You You, what are you doing here?"

"As expected of our mother's nemesis, Reimu Hakurei, when it comes to being cuckolded, I, Ran Houraisan, would call you the strongest in Gensokyo! But that's where you end it. If you ask why, it's because my dad is here!"

"Holy crap, what the hell are you talking about?!"

Despite Reimu's death stare, Mu Huai rushed forward and gave Houraisanran a flick on the forehead. Then, unexpectedly, he activated time acceleration to complete the collection of the last black material.

Almost the instant he submitted the materials, a blinding light burst forth in front of him, and almost subconsciously, a string of coded words escaped his lips.

"Hakurei Shrine, Scarlet Devil Mansion, Eientei, Chireiden, Moriya Shrine, Lake of Mist, Enchanted Forest, Sanzu River, Hakugyokurou, Sunflower Field, Youkai Mountain, Yakumo Mansion, The Secret Hat, Hakurei Great Barrier."

"Now that I've said this, it's Made in Gensokyo!!!"

[Awarded the title—The Man Who Forged the Crystal Palace of Gensokyo.]

A colorful calligraphy brush fell into Mu Huai's hand, while Ling Meng, clutching the Dream Seal, rushed in front of him, about to knock him to his knees with a "Wife's Face-Breaking Punch" and drag him back to humiliate him severely.

A few days ago, at Penglai Mountain Orchid's suggestion, she smashed the jade stone that represented green and learned from it that she had been cuckolded by many monsters.

The hat has already been put on her; she no longer cares about right or wrong. She can only dream of sealing the connection to her brain, dreaming that she can be born to replace thinking.

She smashed everything blocking her way into dust, and then poured all the grievances she had suffered onto Mu Huai.

"You can't treat your lover like this, Reimu."

"Mom??"

The figure of a shrine maiden wearing the Kamen Rider 1 mask appeared before Mu Huai, easily erasing Reimu's dream seal. Her gentle tone and familiar figure brought tears to her eyes.

"Mom, is it really you?"

In Reimu's memory, her mother, who raised her, passed away from illness a long time ago. She doesn't know why she feels like crying so much, but she feels that a missing piece in her soul has been quietly pieced together.

A knot in her heart that she herself was unaware of was slowly smoothed out during this unexpected meeting.

The previous priestess did not immediately concern herself with her daughter, who was crying her eyes out. Instead, she turned around and looked Mu Huai up and down: "It's definitely easier to see her in person. Little one, you're quite good."

Mu Huai didn't know if she was genuinely praising him or if she knew about Lingmeng's encounters with several ghosts who had cheated on her when she went out to buy groceries, and was subtly mocking him.

He could only manage an awkward but polite smile: "Hello, Mother-in-law."

"Hmm! That's a very nice way to address my mother-in-law. I like it very much. Let's leave it at that for now. See you later, Zi."

The previous priestess gave Yakumo Yukari no chance to communicate with her, and under Reimu's dumbfounded gaze, kissed Mu Huai on the forehead, then merged with the different colored and shaped brush in his hand.

She transformed into a beautiful, delicate baby girl who fell into his hands and let out a loud, newborn cry.

Mu Huai's smile was unusually awkward: "Reimu... calm down and listen to me. Although it sounds unbelievable, it seems that your mother has become my daughter... Yakumo Yukari is... her mother."

In that instant, Lingmeng recalled the nightmares she had had countless times, and now they had actually come to life and appeared before her!

Perhaps unable to withstand such a blow, she rolled her eyes and fainted. Before her consciousness completely disappeared into darkness, she could still hear Penglai Shanlan's unscrupulous laughter.

......

"Reimu!"

"Mom, I'm here..."

"You useless daughter!"

"But..."

"Don't talk back, I'm your mother!"

"Ugh..."

In the autumn when Gensokyo is dyed red by maple leaves, a hilarious scene is unfolding at the Hakurei Shrine.

A young child with pigtails sat on Mu Huai's lap, scolding the aggrieved Hakurei Reimu in a childish voice, with crumbs of pastry still stuck to the corners of her mouth.

"It was your wedding night, and that shameless old woman Zi managed to sneak up on you and steal your husband away! What do you do all day at home besides eat and sleep?!"

"Who knew that Yukari Yakumo was so cunning, and actually attacked me when I was least prepared."

The more Reimu tried to explain, the angrier the previous priestess became. If her body hadn't not yet returned to its pre-death state, she would have shown her daughter what it meant to "not be able to defeat my well-trained body with a mere gap."

"Mother-in-law, Reimu is innocent, please let her go."

Mu Huai chimed in, only to be immediately glared at by her with a cute yet fierce look.

"Dad... no, son-in-law, you're not allowed to interrupt!"

"Mom, isn't our relationship a bit complicated?"

"I've already come back from the dead, so I don't care about these things. In short, I want to hold my granddaughter in my arms this time next year. Look how amazing Yakumo Ran is, she's already had her second daughter!"

"With the smug look on Yakumo Yukari's face in front of me every day, how can you bear to let your mother be bullied by that old woman like this?"

Reimu pouted, feeling wronged: "I've tried so hard, but what if I still can't get pregnant?"

"Bullshit! You two aren't working hard enough. Starting tomorrow, get back into your room and don't come out for at least ten days to two weeks!"

The previous shrine maiden flew into a rage, then pulled out a book from somewhere with the words "Gensokyo Population Revitalization Plan" on the cover and shoved it into Reimu's hands.

“You should study this book carefully. I think it’s written quite well by the young lady, Komeiji Satoru. The logic is clear, the sentences are fluent, and most importantly, many monsters have gotten pregnant with Muhuai’s child thanks to it.”

Lingmeng's forehead veins bulged as she listened, and she subtly glanced at Mu Huai, who was smirking.

"How many monsters have you been having affairs with behind my back?"

He held up one finger: "Just one..."

"One football team? That's too few, I don't believe it!"

"No, no, no, it's the entire Gensokyo."

"You blockhead! I'm going to kill you!!!"

Volume 4, "Anything Can Happen in Gensokyo": Author's Closing Remarks

Greetings, dear readers. This is Shuiyu.

After being relentlessly pursued by pirates, this book entered a slump that lasted until its conclusion. During this period, in order to revise the pacing and content, I also cut two volumes that were originally planned. I was somewhat unwilling to finish the book with less than a million words, but continuing to write in a slump would have been a waste of my enthusiasm, so I simply ended it at a stage where I could either extend the story or stop there.

Looking back at my three books, I find that there are still many problems, big and small, some of which existed in the first book and are now just minor improvements.

During this time, my family and I went through a lot. My next book will probably be available in a month or two. In the meantime, I will learn from other experts to improve myself and strive to bring better stories to everyone.

See you in the new book! Wishing all our readers happiness every day! ╰(*°▽°*)╯╰(*°▽°*)╯╰(*°▽°*)╯╰(*°▽°*)╯

Epilogue: Chapter 1 The Traitorous Spirit Spreads in Gensokyo

Inside the quiet Hakurei Shrine.

Hakurei Sendai, Reimu, and Rumia, a rather unusual trio, sat at the dining table eating breakfast.

"I'm starting!"

"Hmm... Mom, why is my tonkotsu ramen so much smaller than yours?"

"Haha, Reimu, since you don't have to go out to fight off the anomalies now, of course your breakfast won't be as lavish as hers~"

Reimu lightly poked at the fish cake on the surface of the soup with her chopsticks, complaining with a hint of dissatisfaction, "That's what you say... but don't you think that as the wife of a blockhead, I should receive some special treatment?"
