They experience adventures, are pulled by gravity, and struggle to explore within time and space.
Ultimately, they were forced to separate, but each of them found their own answers, and both plans were successfully completed.
The male protagonist goes on an adventure through a black hole. Through the love between father and daughter, he transmits data, enabling his daughter to save humanity left on Earth and lead them to the stars.
The female protagonist, carrying an embryo, travels alone through the stars to the coordinates given to her by her ex-boyfriend. She firmly believes that he would never harm her, and she is right. She arrives at a habitable planet and begins to cultivate a new human species.
When Nomiyama first watched "Interstellar," he was captivated by the cosmic adventure.
Much later, when he looked back, he realized that those adventures were just simple embellishments, and that the two answers given to humanity were both love.
"What a romantic word," Nomiyama thought, looking at the street.
Sayuri Sawamura looked at the long boots, short skirts, and trench coats on the street, at the pretty girls' curly hair, then glanced at him, who seemed somewhat mesmerized, before lifting her foot and stepping down.
Nomiyama snapped out of his daze and stared at her blankly.
"Have you seen enough?" Sawamura Sayuri asked expressionlessly.
Have you seen enough...?
Nomiyama turned his gaze back to the street and noticed that many girls had appeared there at some point. They were showing off their slender, white legs, wearing boots or high heels, and each of them exuded a commanding presence and was incredibly beautiful.
"What's going on?" Nomiyama asked, somewhat puzzled.
Sawamura Sayuri glanced at him twice to make sure he genuinely didn't know.
She pouted and explained, "A new shopping mall just opened nearby, and these people came to shop."
Nomiyama scratched his head: "Why are there more girls?"
Sayuri Sawamura complained about his slowness: "Girls have a natural love for shopping. Of course, girls will be the first to discover a newly opened shopping mall."
"Makes sense."
Nomiyama nodded, then pulled her into the crowd: "Let's go, let's go shopping too."
Sayuri Sawamura rejected the idea and followed him, saying, "No, I'm not really interested in shopping lately. Let's find a coffee shop to sit in and soak up some sun."
So they went into a coffee shop, sat by the floor-to-ceiling windows, and peacefully enjoyed the warm spring sunshine.
Nomiyama glanced at the pretty little girl next to him with her pigtails undone, reached out, picked up the coffee, and took a sip.
He ordered an espresso, without sugar, which was very bitter and not to his liking at all.
The people around him said they really wanted to see him drink the concentrated liquor, so he agreed.
"Never mind, look at how furrowed your brow."
Sayuri Sawamura reached out and moved her latte over to him, then reached out and moved his espresso over to him as well.
Looking at her peacefully in the sunlight, Nomiyama asked, "How could you like this? It tastes so bitter."
Sayuri Sawamura sipped her coffee: "It's not that I like it, it's just that this stuff is quite stimulating, and I need it occasionally."
The answer is reasonable, after all, he is the person in charge of a large enterprise.
Nomiyama took the sugared latte and sipped it.
"The wind blows early."
"Ah."
"I've heard that everyone has fantasized about what their marriage partner should be like. What did you think about that before?"
Nomiyama glanced at her, reached out and took her hand, holding it in his palm, and then recalled something briefly.
"She would probably have long black hair, wear a plain white sundress, ride horses, play beautiful piano music, and every afternoon tea time, she would brew two cups of coffee with sugar, sit next to me with a book, and we would bask in the warm sunshine together."
Sawamura Sayuri leaned on his shoulder: "So what do you think now?"
Nomiyama leaned his head against her and said, "Now, it doesn't necessarily have to be black hair, a plain white dress, horseback riding or piano playing, or coffee. I prefer milk tea. But I still want to sit together and bask in the afternoon sun. It makes me feel at ease."
Sawamura Sayuri looked at the sunlight outside and smiled: "So now all I need to do is bask in the sun with you."
Nomiyama refuted this claim: "What does 'sunbathing' mean? It means someone who gives me a sense of security."
"Are you at ease now?"
"Ah."
“Let’s go then.” Sayuri Sawamura stood up, her eyebrows dancing with excitement. “Life is too short. If you stay so carefree, all our time will be wasted. Let’s go shopping.”
Nomiyama allowed her to pull him up and move around without resisting.
He was somewhat taken aback by the sudden change. Girls seemed to be like that all the time, so unpredictable that they caught people off guard.
As they walked, he asked, "Have you decided what to buy?"
Sawamura Sayuri rolled her eyes at him, a look that was charming and cute, but her words were anything but polite.
"Idiot, of course you should buy whatever you like. Why do you need to think it through before you set off?"
"Too."
......
Nomiyama, carrying more than a dozen shopping bags, looked at the still enthusiastic little black-haired man in front of her and once again truly felt the girl's insatiable shopping desire.
Of course, the premise is that you have money, and the person in front of me happened to be exceptionally wealthy.
"Want me to buy you another suit?" Sayuri Sawamura asked, turning around to look at him with her hands behind her back.
Nomiyama glanced down at the shopping bag; yes, it was full of his clothes.
He shook his head, feeling it was unnecessary: "There are three suits here, that's enough. I don't think I'll be able to wear more, since I'm pretty lazy and probably won't go to formal occasions often."
“That’s true.” Sayuri Sawamura nodded, then walked forward. “Then let’s buy a few more casual outfits.”
"Aren't you going to buy some for yourself?" Nomiyama asked, following behind her.
“I have more than a dozen sets of matching couple outfits, for spring, summer, autumn and winter, which is enough for me.”
"Oh."
Nomiyama reached out, his fingers still gripping the shopping bag's straps, so he merely touched the other person's hand without taking it.
"I feel like a dozen or so outfits aren't enough to wear."
Sawamura Sayuri stopped and looked at him.
"Let's buy a dozen more sets, I can handle it."
Sawamura Sayuri looked at his hands full of shopping bags, her lips curving upwards and then downwards.
She continued walking forward, her steps light and quick.
"You'd better be able to take it."
......
Nomiyama began to understand one thing: he had reached the end.
This endpoint is not the end of life, nor the end of time, nor the end of life.
The destination is Chiba, a city.
He understood that this place would become his permanent residence.
He will probably wander to many more places, walk along unfamiliar roads, and see scenery he hasn't seen yet, but in the end, he will still return to this city, settle down, and bask in the sun.
This city, which is mostly seen as an appendage of Tokyo, has a relatively small urban area, and the familiar places are also relatively small. The crowds are not particularly dense, so the city is not considered very prosperous.
The good thing is that he's familiar with the area; he can easily find the best restaurants and snacks in the busiest neighborhoods, which is great.
Of course, most importantly, the person he loves lives here.
Nomiyama, carrying a dazzling array of shopping bags, barely managed to open his front door and go inside.
"I am back."
Welcome home.
Kato Megumi, who was waiting in the living room, stood up from the sofa, went to greet him, and then paused slightly.
Nomiyama walked into the house somewhat embarrassed: "Megumi, I'll go to the room and put my clothes away first."
Kato Megumi reluctantly followed, taking a few shopping bags: "Let's do it together, let's tidy up."
"Yes, I'll have to trouble you again." Nomiyama smiled.
The two walked up the stairs.
Nomiyama listened to the sounds coming from the yard and asked curiously, "What are they doing?"
Kato Megumi explained softly, "They thought the wall should be built higher, so Yukinoshita got a lot of bricks and built the wall there."
Nomiyama was slightly taken aback. His house was actually an L-shape, with the other half being a thick wall. If that wall were raised further, it would be a three-story building.
"Huh? Didn't you go out yesterday to buy stones for the hot spring pool? How come you've turned it into building a wall?"
Kato Megumi pushed open his door and went inside: "I don't know."
Nomiyama threw all the shopping bags onto the bed and rubbed his temples: "And where did all these bricks come from? No, I'm going to stop her."
Kato Megumi, unpacking her shopping bag, called out to him, "No need, Kazehaya. I don't know how Yukinoshita managed it, but she just waved her hand and threw a bunch of bricks. Actually, we're already finishing up."
Nomiyama twitched his lips: "Don't you think it's strange? A thick wall three stories high, and then the courtyard in the middle will only get sunlight at noon. It's not aesthetically pleasing."
Kato Megumi nodded: "Yes, so Eriri started considering building an afternoon tea area on the rooftop, and also putting some flowers and plants up there."
Nomiyama was quiet for a while before finally starting to unpack the shopping bags.
I'm glad you like it.
Kato Megumi glanced at him, who had given up thinking, then lowered her head and quietly tidied up the matching couple outfits in her hands.
She didn't think about who had the other half of these matching outfits; she was just thinking that she should find some time to take him shopping, since a new shopping mall had just opened.
Nomiyama hung his suit in the closet and looked back at Megumi, who was sitting on the bed quietly tidying her clothes: "Why don't you go join the fun? They seem to be having a lot of fun."
Kato Megumi said softly, "Kazehaya said he'd be home this afternoon, so I'm waiting for him to come home."
She looked at him and tilted her head: "They're playing in the hot spring. Kazehaya, do you want to go take a look?"
Nomiyama was moved by the first sentence, but upon hearing the second sentence, his emotion was abruptly halted.
He shook his head, saying seriously, "I don't peep."
Kato Megumi looked away: "There's nothing I can do about it, Yukinoshita-san is going to cover the hot spring pool with a wooden hut."
Nomiyama shifted his gaze to the inner courtyard, feeling a pang of regret.
Kato Megumi picked up the clothes, gesturing for him to open the wardrobe next to her.
After putting away the clothes, she said, "And tomorrow, it seems that Yukinoshita wants to go fishing with Kazehaya."
"Aren't you going?" Nomiyama closed the wardrobe, picked her up, and rolled onto the bed.
“No, I prefer to stay at home.” Kato Megumi shook her head, then gently bumped her head against his chest. “But Kazehaya, remember to come home early and cook.”
"Okay, I'll bring back several fish tomorrow." Nomiyama began to dream about tomorrow.
"Kazehaya won't be able to catch any fish." Kato Megumi ruthlessly shattered his fantasy, then added, "But Yukinoshita has prepared a lot of fishing gear, and even bought a fish basket. Kazehaya, remember to bring the fish home tomorrow, don't grill them on the shore."
Nomiyama felt that Megumi underestimated him. He hadn't fished in the Sanzu River for over a year, and even if he had just been accumulating luck, he should have caught at least one fish by now.
He hugged Hui and rolled around in her arms, saying, "I'll definitely catch a fish tomorrow."
Kato Megumi reached out and grabbed his cheek below: "If I catch a fish, I'll tell Kazehaya a secret."
"A secret?" Nomiyama's eyes flickered slightly. He turned over and pressed her down. "No, I want to hear it now."
Kato Megumi blinked, but remained silent.
Nomiyama thought for a moment and then suggested, "I'll also give Megumi a secret."
Kato Megumi hummed in agreement, then said calmly, "Feng Zao spoke first."
Why did I have to speak first?
"Because Kaze was more curious than I was."
Nomiyama agreed with this statement, so he looked around and whispered, "I'm telling you, but don't tell anyone else."
A smile appeared in Kato Megumi's eyes, and she softly replied, "I won't tell anyone else."
In the inner courtyard, Yukino Yukinoshita, surrounded by a wall, was soaking in the hot spring with a white towel on her forehead.
