"Is there anything else you'd like to eat next?" Yukino Yukinoshita asked him after finishing her tripe.
Nomiyama reached for a tissue, wiped his mouth, and after thinking for a moment said, "There were places in the cities I passed through in this country last time that I wanted to eat."
He held up his fingers and pointed: "Roujiamo (Chinese hamburger), beef noodles, whole lamb, braised pork offal, salted duck. If I see any other delicious food on the way, I'll probably still want to eat it."
"Let's set off after we finish our hot pot. We'll go to that ancient city first, and take a nap there when it gets late." Yukino Yukinoshita wiped her mouth and quietly watched him start cooking the meat again.
Nomiyama placed the slices of meat into a small bowl, looked at her thoughtfully, and said, "Are you sure this isn't the final trip? Not a long last supper?"
Eriri Sawamura glanced at them, said nothing, and just chewed away. Anyway, she could keep bullying Yukino along the way, so she wasn't losing out.
Oh no, actually, they're still at a loss. They're all orphans now, but she isn't.
“Of course not.” Yukino Yukinoshita took out a tissue and wiped Eriri’s mouth. “This time it’s just a simple pre-wedding trip.”
"We're eighteen now, the age we've been waiting for, it's time to get married."
"It's been a long time." Nomiyama looked at the glistening oil on the slices of meat, shook his head, picked one up, and put it in his mouth.
“It is indeed a long time.” Yukino Yukinoshita smiled at him, then said, “But when we get back, our first priority is to take responsibility for our recklessness. Let’s put the wedding later.”
"Mmm." Nomiyama picked up a slice of mutton and continued to cook it in the broth.
"Why are you saying all this?" Eriri Sawamura picked up the plate of sliced meat and poured it into the clear broth pot. "I just want to eat meat right now. Can we talk about those things when we get back?"
"Okay, whatever you say," Yukino Yukinoshita replied softly.
Nomiyama was more concerned with another matter.
"How dare you pour all the meat into the clear broth?!"
"Oh? Anyway, if you put it in the hot pot, all someone will do is breathe on it."
......
After their culinary journey, the three traveled to Africa for a culinary adventure of a different kind.
Nomiyama, using the excuse of being starving, frantically hunted curious food across the continent. In the end, just as he was about to attack an elephant, he was stopped by Yukinoshita and dragged to the next location.
After spending some time in South America, they headed north to the Coca-Cola town in Mexico.
"The last time I was here, I was thinking that Eriri would be very happy if you were here." Nomiyama strolled along the street step by step.
Eriri Sawamura walked beside him, holding a large bottle of cola, and objected to this statement: "Even if I like cola, I can't accept drinking cola every day."
"Huh? So you're not happy?" Nomiyama raised an eyebrow.
"Hehe." Eriri Sawamura didn't say anything, but unscrewed the bottle cap and took a few sips with both hands.
Nomi Yamanote rested his chin on his hand, recalling: "Actually, I felt that when I thought of you, Yukinoshita seemed a little angry. She suddenly ran away, and she ran really fast."
Yukino Yukinoshita glanced at him: "I wasn't looking at you at the time, so how could I know you were thinking about another girl, and how could I be angry?"
Upon hearing this, both Nomiyama and Eriri looked at her with suspicion.
Yukino Yukinoshita remained silent, leading them away from the town to the original tequila tavern.
Nomiyama stopped arguing with her, reached out and pushed open the door, and walked into the roadside bar.
It's still the same wooden bar, and the same bartender.
"Hello, three bottles of tequila, open one and leave the other two unopened."
He sat down at the bar, opened his bag, and waited quietly.
"Will Natsume-sensei like it?" Yukino Yukinoshita looked at the several bottles of alcohol already in her bag and hesitated.
Bringing local specialties and wines from different places as gifts for teachers always feels a bit unreliable.
“Probably. He mentioned going drinking during our conversations, two or three times. He should like this stuff now.” Nomiyama put away the bottles with a natural expression. “If he really doesn’t like it, I’ll just give them all to Hiratsuka Shizuka. She’ll definitely like them anyway.”
"Is this good?" Eriri Sawamura was more curious about something else.
Nomiyama looked at the tequila glass in front of him, then at the prepared lime slices and salt, and smiled: "It tastes better than you imagined."
A dozen minutes later, the three arrived at the US-Mexico border. Nomiyama, carrying Eriri whose cheeks were flushed, stood beside Yukinoshita, looking at the still crowded area on the other side. He was curious, but not about immigration. Instead, he asked, "Do you think Eriri is pretending to be drunk or is she really drunk?"
Yukino Yukinoshita glanced at the person with open eyes on his back and simply stated, "Pretend to be drunk, find an excuse for you to carry me."
"You guys are so boring. Can't you just pretend you didn't know? At least I really choked just now." Eriri Sawamura wiped the redness off her face and tugged at his hair.
"You're acting so fake. You drank whiskey like it was water before," Nomiyama said, pursing his lips.
“That’s because I thought it was water!” Eriri Sawamura had her reasons.
"Your water is amber-colored?" Nomiyama grabbed her thigh.
Yukino Yukinoshita ignored them and quietly watched the border crossing migrants over there.
Nomiyama glanced at her: "Don't tell me you want to change this group of people, it's too much trouble. I'd rather stay at home."
Yukino Yukinoshita shook her head: "I'm not a saint, I just want to stay at home."
Eriri Sawamura muttered, "Two people who can't get enough to eat..."
"..."
"..."
The two people who were pointed out exchanged a glance and silently looked away.
......
When the three of them, each wearing a cowboy hat, entered Luoshanji, they discovered that the place was completely different from what they had seen before.
"Wow, what a beautiful view." Nomiyama sat on the rooftop, looking down with some emotion.
Eriri Sawamura watched the thick smoke billowing several meters in front of her after the car burned, wondering, "How did they suddenly end up like this?"
Looking down at the crowd of people protesting and vandalizing the area, Yukino Yukinoshita calmly said, "Nothing is surprising here."
Nomiyama pulled out the revolver he'd acquired in the western desert and twirled it in his hand: "Who knows? Maybe there are just too many bad guys in this country?"
His gaze lingered on a certain alley, and a smile appeared on his lips: "Eri, let's go, let's punish evil and promote good."
Eriri Sawamura looked over there and grinned as well.
Yukino Yukinoshita watched them leave and reluctantly followed.
Six punches per second – simple and effective.
Nomiyama squatted on the ground, ignoring the man who was already convulsing, and just rummaged through his wallet, asking, "Eriri, how much money do you have?"
Eriri Sawamura stared at the single $10 note in her wallet and fell into deep thought.
"Alright, stop playing, it's time to go."
Yukino Yukinoshita pulled her hat down and turned to walk out of the alley.
Nomiyama picked up Eriri, who had jumped onto him, and asked her, "Where are you going?"
"port."
"Oh, going back in one step?"
"No, let's go sail."
"Start a boat trip?" Nomiyama asked in surprise. "When did you contact your family?"
“No, I did it.” Eriri Sawamura said cheerfully, “Before leaving London, I asked John and the others to prepare a ship for me in this port.”
“Didn’t you want to take a ship across the ocean?” Yukino Yukinoshita said calmly. “So when we were in London, we decided that for this last trip, we would sail back ourselves.”
Nomiyama remained silent for a long time. Moved, he released Eriri's hand from his back and took her hand in his.
"Who among us can sail the boat?"
......
No one knew how to drive the boat; they were simply propelled by Yukino Yukinoshita's almost omnipotent aura.
Late at night, Nomiyama, wearing a bathrobe, came to the deck of the yacht, sat down quietly, and stared blankly at the moon in front of him.
He turned his head to look at Hui sitting next to him, and after a moment of silence, continued to look at the moon.
Yukino Yukinoshita, wearing the same bathrobe, walked onto the deck, sat down next to him, and hugged her knees.
"Where's Eriri?" he asked.
"What do you think?" Yukino Yukinoshita's voice was cold.
Nomiyama looked at her, whose face was cold but blushing, and smiled as he picked her up and held her in his arms.
Yukino gestured symbolically twice, then put her arm around him and stopped moving.
Nomiyama continued to gaze at the moon, his fingers stroking the hair of the person in his arms. After a while, he said, "Under the snow, a few decades are not enough, too short."
"Hmm." Yukino Yukinoshita stopped holding her left hand and instead stretched it out, revealing two small bottles in her palm.
Let us live forever.
Nomiyama looked at the [elixir of immortality] but did not answer immediately.
"Don't worry, there's plenty." Yukino Yukinoshita understood what he meant. "Let's torture each other for the rest of our lives."
Nomiyama took the medicine, tilted his head back and poured it to himself. He smacked his lips and said, "It's rare that she made something that tastes just so-so to me."
Yukino Yukinoshita loosened her grip on the bottle, frowning slightly: "It does taste a bit off."
Nomiyama looked down at her: "Why not enjoy the rest of our lives together?"
Yukino Yukinoshita turned her head away: "I don't think it was enjoyable."
"But I think it is."
Nomiyama rubbed his fingertips against that peach-blossom-like cheek and leaned closer.
"For thousands and thousands of years, beneath the snow, you cannot escape."
Yukino Yukinoshita casually concealed the entire ship, then looked up at him with hazy eyes, waiting for those eyes to draw closer.
She didn't want to run away again.
Inside the yacht, Eriri Sawamura's eyes, which had been rolling around, flickered. She glanced at the deck and then stood up.
I went into the bathroom.
Two insatiable lunatics, I won't play with them.
After taking a shower, she lay down on the bed and buried her head in the blankets.
Two hours later, she threw off the covers, drank a large glass of water, and walked toward the deck with bloodshot eyes.
I'm going to make sure you lose all motivation to continue today.
Half an hour later, inside the yacht, Nomiyama placed the disoriented Eriri on the bed.
He turned and went into the bathroom.
"Alright, now no one will bother us."
"You... um... bastard..."
......
Neon lights, on a coastline somewhere in Izu City.
Nomiyama walked ashore carrying a bag and wearing a pirate hat.
He scanned his surroundings and began to search the map in his mind.
Eriri Sawamura stood beside him, yawning. She sighed, "I thought we'd encounter pirates at sea, fight them, and steal their treasure."
Yukino Yukinoshita reached out and straightened her pirate hat, chuckling, "At least we found a treasure chest."
Eriri Sawamura was even more furious: "A broken island! A broken box! Inside is a piece of paper with 'One Piece' written on it, what a joke! Even Oda-sensei couldn't come up with such an abstract plot!"
"At least we actually found 'One Piece,' so let's be content." Nomiyama determined the direction and began to head along the coastal highway.
"What kind of 'One Piece' is that? I don't want a Devil Fruit, at least leave me something useful, like a treasure map!" Eriri Sawamura was still angry.
"Forget about it. Most of the treasure maps have already been dug up by various people." Nomiyama looked at the diving shop in the distance. "Anyway, we definitely won't be able to find it."
"Ah!!!! I want the treasure map!!!!" Eriri Sawamura shouted.
Yukino Yukinoshita sighed and rubbed her head: "Next time I'll have Nomi Yamakaze find more treasures, and then I'll give you the treasure map, and you can take us there."
Nomiyama twitched his lips and turned to look at her: "Aren't you afraid of spoiling her?"
