After saying this, Eriri Sawamura's eyes clearly showed pain, and she slowly lowered her head.
Are you two going to have a fight?
Nomiyama's voice rang out.
He looked at the two who had quieted down and said, "They didn't argue when they were eight or nine years old, but now that they're twice as old, they've started to think about arguing."
"Are you two going to fight later, pulling each other's hair and tearing each other's wounds, and then I'll have to be the one to mediate and make you stop?"
Nomiyama was silent for a while before saying, "I don't want to hurt the other person, I don't want to part ways, and I know that we will regret it afterward. What's the point of hurting each other with those hurtful words?"
"If there's really no other way, how about I divide myself up with you? My left hand will be Yukino, and my right hand will be Eriri."
"Heh, then you can divide it up." Yukino Yukinoshita turned her head away, looking at him with a cold smile.
“I don’t mind.” Eriri Sawamura looked at him as well.
"I want your head," Kato Megumi said calmly.
"Then I want my leg to be healed." Yukinoshita Haruno said with a smile.
“I don’t want any of them, I find them unacceptable.” Sayuri Sawamura shook her head.
"I was just kidding." Nomiyama silently took two steps back, but as he did so, he glanced at the other side.
Yukino noticed his gaze, pouted, and stood up: "Alright, Yukino, we should go home."
She walked straight to her sister, met her silent gaze, and took her arm.
"Eri, it's time for us to go home too." Sayuri Sawamura also got up, took a few steps, and took Eriri's hand.
Yukino Yukinoshita and Eriri Sawamura exchanged a glance, relaxed, and let the person beside them lead them away.
Nomiyama watched them leave and added, "See you when school starts."
"Kazehaya's gotten into trouble again." Kato Megumi strolled over to him and handed him the last apple.
Nomiyama reached out and grabbed it, took a bite, and as the apple juice burst forth, he said, "Megumi, I'm not a god. I couldn't have imagined this."
The two walked side by side, and Kato Megumi said softly, "Eri has become much bolder."
Nomiyama recalled the scene just now, his expression more complicated: "It can't be described as just daring. If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, even I wouldn't have believed it."
Kato Megumi walked beside him, reached out, and quietly took his hand: "Why did Eriri do this? If she wanted to come to your side, she could have just worked hard in Tokyo. There was no need to go to such lengths."
Nomiyama was silent for a moment, then squeezed her hand a little harder: "You don't mind?"
"Mind? Mind what? Mind that Eriri came into your life?" Kato Megumi's calm tone clearly indicated a question.
"It's not that I don't mind, it's that I know what Fengzao is thinking."
Nomiyama stopped and looked at her.
He could clearly hear the complaints and dissatisfaction, an emotion that was very rare in Hui.
"I often think about how lucky I must be to be liked by Hui."
"So, how does Kazehaya plan to make it up to me?"
"I wonder if there's anything Hui wants?"
"marry."
"We'll get married after high school graduation."
Nomiyama readily made a promise and took her hand, preparing to leave.
Kato Megumi's eyes flickered slightly: "That means there are still more than two years left."
"Well, Japanese law stipulates that you have to be over eighteen, so we'll have to wait."
"Kazehaya is already prepared to commit bigamy, so why would he care about this?"
"I don't care about age, it's just that the regulations state you have to be eighteen to get a marriage certificate."
Nomiyama led Megumi through the somewhat crowded people.
Kato Megumi looked at the person in front of her and asked the question: "Kazehaya, why did Eriri choose to confront Yukinoshita directly?"
As Nomiyama walked, Eriri, who had stood her ground earlier, flashed through his mind. He pondered for a moment and said, "On one hand, she was unwilling to keep it from Yukinoshita, and on the other hand, she was unwilling to accept it."
"Unwilling to accept it?" Kato Megumi asked, puzzled.
"Hmm." Nomiyama pulled Megumi away from the crowd and walked towards a less crowded street on the other side.
"It's like reading a novel. If the novel has five volumes, even if you don't read the second or third volume, you can still see the ending. But what's missing in the middle is missing, and if you don't read it, it's missing."
"Eri wants more, not just an ending, she wants to fill in the missing parts."
“A loss is a loss. Life isn’t a novel; you can’t buy a book and reread it. What’s the point of her doing this?” Kato Megumi said with a touch of melancholy.
"Maybe," Nomiyama replied.
Hearing that somewhat vague answer, Kato Megumi's dark eyes flickered slightly: "And what about Kazehaya? What does Kazehaya think?"
"Let nature take its course." Nomiyama quickly gave his answer, then added, "We were both a bit emotional just now, so let's separate and go home."
"Let's wait until summer vacation is over and we've thought everything through before we talk about it."
"So it was to give each other some time to cool off," Kato Megumi concluded.
Nomiyama didn't say anything, but just pulled Megumi along and continued walking forward.
"Kazehaya, you're so easy to guess." Kato Megumi said calmly.
"Nonsense, it's just that Keita is smart and therefore easy to guess." Nomiyama denied it, then confirmed it.
"Oh, really?"
"Yes Yes."
......
"Yukino, did your best friend turn on you?"
Yukino Yukinoshita pressed her phone, sent the message, then turned to look at the quiet Yukino, asking knowingly, "Eri-ri likes her brother-in-law?"
Yukino Yukinoshita didn't look away, still gazing out the window. When faced with the question, she simply looked at her sister's reflection in the glass and said succinctly, "Yes."
She's still more concerned about what happened before.
Eriri and I were on the verge of arguing, or rather, we were already arguing. I was subconsciously thinking of saying some hurtful things to hurt her.
Nomiyama-kun was right; she didn't mean to hurt anyone. She was just overwhelmed by emotions at the time and subconsciously chose the method that would best suppress the other party's arrogance.
"You three really know how to have fun." Yukinoshita Haruno shrugged, relaxed her body, leaned back against the soft seat, and tapped on her phone.
She said with a relaxed expression, "I told you that day in sixth grade that focusing too much on feelings is not a good thing."
Yukino Yukinoshita was silent for a while, and finally denied her statement: "Sister, you may not know much about Nomiyama-kun. Back in middle school, even if I didn't explain to Eriri in advance, he would have gone up to her and made everything clear."
"Moreover, the current situation is not caused by Eriri; someone deliberately disrupted Nomiyama-kun's original normal view of love." Yukino Yukinoshita's voice lowered.
"It was Kato Megumi who caused the problem."
Is it the problem caused by Megumi Kato?
Yukino's finger paused slightly as she pressed the phone screen.
She remembered meeting his mother at his house that day, so when she got home, they got into a fight, argued and quarreled, and eventually compromised.
Then he thought of the aroma of fruit wine that filled the little house, along with two plates of spicy snacks to go with the drinks, and his helpless yet disgusted expression at the time.
"I see. Huike is such a bad guy."
Yukino smiled beneath the snow.
......
"Eri, wasn't this a bit too impulsive?"
Sawamura Sayuri looked at her daughter leaning against her side, hesitated for a moment, and then said directly, "When Yukino is around, he won't side with you, and if you argue with Yukino, some things you say will hurt your feelings."
Eriri Sawamura opened her eyes, glanced at her mother, and then closed them again: "There's no other way, Mom. If we don't do this, we'll always be inferior to Yukino."
"I don't want to."
Sawamura Sayuri gave a wry smile: "Didn't you think about how you would have handled things if he had shown favoritism towards Yukino just now?"
“No, in the situation just now, even if he had a bias, he wouldn’t have shown it, because that would be too hurtful.” Eriri Sawamura said with a very certain tone, “Kazehaya just looks like he has no brain, he’s not really brainless. He thinks things through very clearly, which is why he can keep finding loopholes with Yukino.”
Sawamura Sayuri was silent for a moment, then finally sighed softly, "Eri has grown up. Only the three of you can truly see the situation you're in, and Eriri is probably the one who should do the right thing."
"I don't care what you do, but Eriri, please don't have this kind of argument where you almost lost control of your emotions again. Once words are spoken, they can't be taken back."
“Yes, I understand,” Eriri Sawamura replied.
Then she hugged her mother's arm tightly, pressing herself even closer, as if her whole body was pressed against the other woman.
"I will try my best, Mom, and I will bring him into our family."
The 233rd Ferris wheel, white silk, all of them.
"Understanding each other is the key to drawing blood in a single stroke."
Use the most hurtful words to say it
I didn't even consider whether I could get it back.
The disappointment only intensified after the export.
It will be even more painful.
Why bother?
Kato Megumi listened quietly to him singing softly until he also quieted down, then reached out and took two of his fingers in hers.
"It turns out Kazehaya can speak Chinese."
Nomiyama gripped the handle back, somewhat smugly: "I learned it while studying Chinese cuisine. I also learned French and Turkish."
Kato Megumi said thoughtfully, "They are the world's three major cuisines."
Nomiyama wasn't surprised that his purpose for studying had been guessed; he simply squeezed Megumi's hand and said, "After all, in this life, eating is always the most important thing."
"Hmm." Kato Megumi did not deny this statement, but asked about the song from earlier, "What is the meaning of the lyrics?"
"It means that when people who understand each other hurt each other, it's easier and more powerful, and it hurts more. But those hurtful words are often the blades that pierce both sides." Nomiyama looked at his shadow on the ground, lifted his foot, and stepped on it.
"I see. Kazehaya is talking about what just happened." Kato Megumi glanced at him.
"Hmm, I've been listening to this song lately, and it feels quite fitting." Nomiyama looked ahead. They had already left the bustling streets, and only a few cars occasionally passed by on the road.
"Kazehaya sings very well," Kato Megumi praised him softly.
"Is that so?" Nomiyama was slightly happier.
"So, can you sing me a song?" Kato Megumi asked.
“Okay, as long as I’ve heard of it.” Nomiyama agreed.
“Lemon,” Kato Megumi read out the word.
Nomiyama tilted his head, looking at Megumi, whose expression was indifferent.
Lemon, a song by Kenshi Yonezu, translates to "lemon".
That is, acid.
"Jealous?" Nomiyama leaned closer, looking intently into Megumi's eyes.
"No," Kato Megumi replied calmly, continuing with her usual pace.
"Oh." Nomiyama turned around and let go of her hand.
Then he was caught.
So Nomiyama immediately clung to her, put his arm around Megumi's waist, looked at her puffed-out cheeks, and winked: "How can I keep my girlfriend from getting angry?"
"I can't coax him anymore." Kato Megumi turned her head away, avoiding his gaze.
"Well, there's really nothing I can do about it." Nomiyama pretended to glance around. "It's late at night, the lights are dim, and the streets are deserted."
After speaking, his gaze was intense, and his hand gently caressed Hui's slender waist.
"Perverted Kazehaya." Kato Megumi blushed, pulled him along, and whispered, "Sing quickly."
