The doll's large head slammed into the black-haired youth's chest in an instant.
The young man was thrown back several meters, and then lay motionless.
Mr. Pan quickly covered his mouth with both hands, at a loss for what to do.
The last remaining blond-haired man was terrified, his legs flailing wildly, but he didn't run away. He just slumped to the ground, pulled out his phone, and started dialing.
"Hello...ambulance?"
Mr. Pan scratched his head, turned around, and clutched his last remaining balloon, preparing to continue selling.
As soon as he walked into the crowd, they quickly dispersed and retreated several meters.
Mr. Pan had no choice but to stand still.
Yukino Yukinoshita looked at the clumsy, isolated, and frightened Mr. Pan, remained silent for a while, and then sneered: "What? Not running away anymore?"
Mr. Pan turned his head, as if looking at her.
After a while, he walked toward the two of them, and casually reached out to pull off his hood, holding it to his side.
"When you stop chasing me, I don't know why I ran away."
"Besides, Eriri is with you, and I like to stay where the two of you are."
Yukino Yukinoshita watched him walk over and scoffed, "Nomiyama-kun, you're getting nicer and nicer with your words."
Nomiyama sat next to Eriri, a seat away from her, and replied softly, "It's all the truth."
Eriri Sawamura blinked, looked at him covered in sweat, reached into her pocket, pulled out a tissue and handed it to him: "Why are you selling balloons in a mascot costume?"
Nomiyama tried to grab the tissue, but found that his claws were really inconvenient.
Eriri Sawamura also noticed this, her face slightly red. She reached out and carefully wiped his cheeks and hair, changing the wipe after each one was finished.
Nomiyama did not show any discomfort with her help, but simply explained, "It's easier to keep you company while I'm here, dressed as a doll."
"Oh," Eriri Sawamura responded softly, withdrawing her hand and sitting down.
"It's amazing you managed to sell balloons in that outfit for an hour." Yukino Yukinoshita sneered from the side.
"There's nothing I can do. How was I supposed to know you two had been sitting here without moving?" Nomiyama said innocently.
He stretched out his paw and offered the balloon string that he had been holding onto.
"The store manager said that once I sell all the balloons, he will pay me a salary of 1,500 yen. Could you two please help me out?"
Yukino Yukinoshita glanced at the remaining balloons: "Oh, three balloons. If we buy two, where's the one left?"
Nomiyama looked relaxed: "The last one is of course mine."
Yukino Yukinoshita looked at him coldly, then took out a 500 yen coin, put it into the small pocket on his stomach, and then took a blue balloon.
Eriri Sawamura laughed heartily, reached out, and snatched a yellow balloon.
So, in the end, only one was left.
Nomiyama looked at the black balloon, turned his head, and spoke carefully.
"Um, girlfriend, this outfit is a bit pricey, what do you think..."
Chapter 197: Breakup, Rival in Love
"Oh? Why should I pay for you first?" Yukino Yukinoshita asked coldly.
"Because I'm your boyfriend?" Nomiyama thought for a moment.
"It's over from now on. Let's break up." Yukino Yukinoshita's tone remained unchanged.
Break up? Eriri Sawamura's hand trembled, almost letting go of the balloon. Her eyes widened, and she gradually became expectant.
"No, I won't agree." Nomiyama blurted out his refusal.
"Sorry, breaking up doesn't require your consent." Yukino Yukinoshita looked at him like he was trash.
Nomiyama opened his eyes wide and said confidently, "I needed your consent to be with you when I confessed my feelings, and of course I need your consent to break up with you if you decide to end the relationship."
"Shameless," Eriri Sawamura muttered quietly from the side.
Yukino Yukinoshita sighed, reached out, and ruffled her blonde hair: "Some people usually just 'personify' what they say, you'll get used to it."
After saying that, she took out 250 yen in coins and casually put them into the small pocket on his stomach.
Nomiyama's expression remained unchanged, and he didn't refute it. His girlfriend was even more adorable when she said one thing but meant another.
Yukino Yukinoshita put down her hand that was rubbing Eriri, looked up at him, and said with a hint of disdain, "Why aren't you going to collect your salary from the manager? What are you doing here?"
"Alright, I'll come find you later." Nomiyama stood up, holding the doll headgear.
"Wait a minute," Yukino Yukinoshita called out to him.
"Hmm?" Nomiyama turned his head, puzzled.
"Put on the hood." Yukino Yukinoshita said seriously.
Nomiyama looked at her for a while, understood what she meant, and silently put the hood back on.
Yukino Yukinoshita looked at him, stood up, and rested her chin on her hand.
Inquiry began to flow in her eyes, followed by seriousness and meticulousness.
She took a few steps forward, looked intently at the giant Mr. Pan in front of her, walked around it twice, reached out her hand, and prepared to touch Mr. Pan's fleshy paws, then stopped.
After carefully wiping her hands with a tissue, she blushed slightly and touched Mr. Pan's hand with a serious expression.
Nomiyama's gaze shifted, following the serious and earnest Yukinoshita in front of him, before he fell silent.
He sometimes wonders whether his girlfriend likes him more or cats more...
But Mr. Pan is really not a feline...
"Eri, help me." Yukino Yukinoshita said with a serious expression.
Then she handed her phone to Eriri, who was standing to the side.
Eriri Sawamura took the phone, looked at the camera screen, and then looked at Yukino leaning against her head, her face slightly red but still trying to appear calm.
She pouted, but still managed to raise her phone.
Click, click.
After the photos were taken, Yukino Yukinoshita patted Mr. Pan's head, returned to Eriri's side, and looked down at the pictures on her phone.
As if nothing had happened, she put away her phone and turned to look over there: "Okay, you can take off your hood now."
Nomiyama took off his hood and quietly watched as her expression changed from serious to disgust in a second, causing his eyelids to twitch.
"Yukino Yukinoshita, don't go too far."
"Too much?" Yukino Yukinoshita frowned in confusion. After a while, as if pondering, she said, "I see. It's because I'm so enthusiastic towards Mr. Pan that..."
Looking up at the person dressed in a mascot costume in front of her, she suddenly realized: "So Nomiyama-kun is jealous."
Nomiyama raised an eyebrow: "Oh? Jealous?"
He reached out and raised his paw, as if asking, "Jealous of whom, Mr. Pan? A bear?"
“Feloids.” Yukino Yukinoshita said seriously.
“Bear family.” Nomiyama sneered silently.
Yukino Yukinoshita looked at him for a while, then turned her head and pulled Eriri to sit down. She continued to complain, "Your clothes are at the seafood shop. Remember to take a shower before you come over. You smell weird."
Oh, touch my hands, touch my waist, touch my face. After you've finished touching them all, you see the headgear being removed, but the only problem is that you have to take a shower first because you smell bad.
"Oh."
Nomiyama was too lazy to say more and stepped forward to collect his salary from the store manager.
“Nomiyama-zaki,” Yukino Yukinoshita said.
Nomiyama stopped in his tracks.
"Not bad." It sounded like a compliment.
Nomiyama pursed his lips and continued walking.
"I really like it." It seemed like a casual remark.
Nomiyama raised his mouth and said, "Hmm, that's not bad."
After walking a distance, he turned back, slightly surprised.
Was the anger dissipated too quickly this time, Yukino?
He raised his hand, looked at his claws, and said, "Mr. Pan, it's incredibly effective?"
After he left, Yukino Yukinoshita looked down at the picture of the two of them together on her phone and smiled.
In a sense, Mr. Pan and him are both together; one has Mr. Pan and the other has him.
It feels pretty good. If I have the chance, I'll buy him a Mr. Pan mascot costume. It should be very comfortable for him to hug and sleep at night.
Well, this is just to prevent him from touching me in his sleep and hugging me like a doll.
It's one thing to like being held by him while sleeping, but it's quite another when he moves around on the sofa like a hyperactive person in his sleep.
Unexplained hyperactivity after falling asleep.
Eriri Sawamura watched him leave, then turned to look at her friend who was smiling while staring at her phone, and fell silent.
I can't get a word in edgewise. No, I have to find a chance to confess. I'm fed up with being just an observer, my 'best friend'.
From today onwards, I will be Yukino's rival in love!
......
After handing over the reins with the store manager, Nomiyama went to the seafood shop, grabbed a set of clothes at random, and then went to the public bathhouse for a quiet shower before changing into the new, well-fitting clothes he had bought.
White short-sleeved shirt, black capri pants.
When the two sisters picked out clothes for him, they were simply looking for summer.
After glancing at himself in the full-length mirror, Nomiyama turned and walked out of the bathhouse.
Back at the edge of the rest area in the center of the mall, Nomiyama quietly held his black balloon and looked at the two people over there.
Yukinoshita is his girlfriend, and Eriri is his best friend.
They were the people who accompanied me the most in my life.
Yukino Yukinoshita noticed the gaze, looked up from the screen full of group photos, and looked at him.
She reached out and pulled Eriri, who was enjoying her takoyaki with her eyes half-closed, towards him.
"Eri, let's go, he's back."
"Oh," Eriri replied, carrying the takoyaki towards where he was.
When the three met, Nomiyama didn't stop, turned around and walked ahead, simply saying, "It's about time, let's go for a walk some more."
"Mm," Yukino Yukinoshita replied simply.
"Try this, I just bought it, it's delicious." Eriri Sawamura quickened her pace, broke free from Yukino's arm, walked to his side, and handed him the whole box of takoyaki.
"Hmm?" Nomiyama looked down, picked up the bamboo skewer, casually strung one up, and stuffed it into his mouth.
He chewed, squinted his eyes, and said with satisfaction, "Hmm, it's really good."
After saying that, he strung up another one, blew on it gently, and handed it to another person next to him: "Try it, it's delicious."
Yukino Yukinoshita looked at the takoyaki handed to her, lifted her hair, and took a bite.
She chewed, swallowed, and nodded gently: "It's good."
“Right?” Nomiyama skewered another one, put it in his mouth, and then inserted the bamboo skewer into the box. “Eri-ri does have some taste sometimes.”
"You don't need to tell me!" Eriri Sawamura glared at him, took the bamboo skewer, strung up some takoyaki, and started blowing on it.
"I thought you didn't like this kind of street food, Eriri." Nomiyama chewed and nudged her with his hand.
Eriri Sawamura, annoyed, shoved his idle hand away: "You've never gone shopping with me before."
