But the Federation has no time to care about them, and what really frustrates the Helkas is the current state of the universe.

No matter how hard we try, our edits to reality are always very short-lived and limited in scope. This universe is too old to change, and even the ancient Sages wouldn't consider it healthy.

It is just like the emperor of the human empire, a dead body with a trace of vitality.

……

But amidst setbacks sometimes lie opportunities, and a new experiment has already produced unexpected results.

While we've long known of the existence of other dimensions through astral rifts, a reliable method of traveling there has always eluded us.

That's no longer the case. The young universe exists within the infinite gravity of a singularity, at the center of a black hole. It turns out that rewriting this young universe is much easier.

The newly created Exodus module gives us the technology to send probes into the black hole. Once we cross the event horizon, we can exert pressure to bend these new planes to our will, and we will discover a reality that can be shaped into a paradise.

Or, we can think about it from another perspective and not regard the horizon probe carrying the Valley Era as a Noah's Ark for escape.

Instead, they strengthened it into a spear or a sword, using it to slash something with their own hands, and then seize everything in this universe, rather than going into exile.

This time, even "reality itself" is extremely uneasy about the appearance of its mortal enemy.

Chapter 203 The God of the Mortal World.

The Federation's experiments, especially the construction of the final stage of the Degu module, have greatly hurt the innate sacred feelings nurtured by this universe.

Or maybe it's not just emotion; in any case, they are prepared to respond enthusiastically to the Federation's experiment in applying infinite propositions.

But the Federation will not stop. No matter who comes, no one can stop the great cause of the universe's creation. And those hungry monsters who caused the annihilation of all races and the falling of stars will never give up.

Just like when these mortal gods first came into the world.

……

In the early days of the universe, a pure energy life form was formed, born from the Big Bang. They feed on stars, and their existence is completely independent of material basis.

They initially lacked any thoughts or intelligence that could be understood by intelligent creatures until they came into contact with a species called the Necrontyr. The Necrontyr were in awe of the powerful forces of these energy creatures and regarded them as gods in mythology.

In order to worship the gods, the Necrontyr forged a body made of living metal for them, allowing these stellar energy bodies to reside in it.

These stellar vampires, who had bodies, gradually developed their own selves. They became sentient, conscious, intelligent, and powerful species, but they had no moral concepts.

This is the Star God, or Catan.

……

With their new bodies, their appetite for stars quickly shifted to various creatures that had just appeared in the universe, especially those ancient saints with great power.

In order to feast on the vitality of the galactic species, the Star Gods ruthlessly enslaved the Necrontyr race as their slaves and servants, and then tricked the Necrontyr into undergoing biological transformation and losing their souls.

Relying on these brutal machine servants, the Katans successfully destroyed the Old Ones. However, they soon realized that with the extinction of the Old Ones and the many species they created, the galaxy was losing sufficient life energy and its food was beginning to run short.

Finally, the Nightbringer, unable to bear the hunger, devoured one of its own kind after being tempted by some small suggestions. This marked the beginning of the great civil war among the Star Gods.

Afterwards, the C'tan began to devour each other in order to satisfy their appetites and gain greater power, which greatly reduced their numbers and weakened their control over the Necrons.

The Necrons seized the opportunity to rebel, using a devastating weapon to shatter the very essence of the Star Gods, cutting them into countless fragments.

The fragments' consciousness was shattered, their power weakened, and their former masters were now mere playthings of their undead servants.

But this situation will not last forever. With the changes in the world, the power of the Necromancer's prison is weakening, and the attacks on the Necromancers by other forces have inevitably caused loopholes in their system of supervising the Star Gods.

For example, this one.

……

When the fragments of Murphtran escaped from the cage of the Undead Dynasty, he was no longer the star god with endless power.

His existence was shattered, sealed, and weakened, but the Deceiver's cunning and wisdom remain.

The Empire's Alpha Legion, a renegade legion of Space Marines skilled in conspiracy, discovered this fragment of the C'tan left behind by the Necrons and attempted to use it.

The Alpha Legion is not aimless; their goal is very clear: they want to retrieve Omegon, Alpharius's twin brother and the Primarch of the Alpha Legion.

However, the whereabouts of Omegan have become one of the greatest mysteries in the galaxy since the Heresy, and even the oldest veterans of the Thousand-Change Serpents have been unable to find any trace of their genetic father.

So, when they learned that the fragment of the Star God belonged to the most knowledgeable deceiver, Murphtran, the Alpha Legion decided to take a risk and try to "coerce" a Star God to help them find the whereabouts of the Primarch.

However, they underestimated the C'tan's cunning and scheming. Malphitelan certainly knew some clues about Omegan, but he also understood that no one could truly control a C'tan, especially one so skilled in deception and manipulation, even if it was just a fragment.

The Alpha Legion may pride themselves on being the most cunning warriors in the galaxy, but they are not facing your average politician, military officer, or faith leader, but a being that has been weaving lies since the dawn of the universe.

Having recovered a considerable degree of strength and consciousness, Murphtran successfully helped the Alpha Legion find clues to their original leader and the related "gifts" through a series of ingenious tricks.

Even though there was a real clue, it didn't mean Alpharius and his men would be able to get it. When the Alpha Legion confidently charged into the old cult ruins where Omegan's information was hidden, they encountered the Synthetic Queen's army. This bonus gift really helped me sleep.

In the end, Murphtran used a knife to kill someone else and successfully eliminated the group of Alpharius Space Marines who had been harassing him for a long time.

……

But he had only a short time to celebrate his freedom, as the reality backfire effects created by the Federation's application of the Infinite Proposition soon began to reverberate throughout the universe.

The large fragments of Murphitlan felt great pain at this time, and all kinds of unimaginable wounds appeared on his body. Some destructive force injured the realistic laws of the universe, and also injured the star god who was the incarnation of the realistic laws.

Even the Eldar God of War, Khaine, had never felt so threatened. Fuming with rage and filled with doubt, he began searching for the source of this power.

Then, these creatures, who had no fear even when facing the gods of the Warp, and at most were just wary, felt fear for the first time.

Murphtran could sense the birth of some creation that would change everything, just as the Four Chaos Gods were unusually sensitive to the coming of the Star Sea Retribution. They each represented the pinnacle of their respective planes.

This new influence, capable of reshaping reality, might have the potential to completely destroy the C'tan's existence. Even the Necrons could only seal the C'tan, as they could not afford the negative impact of the destruction of their incarnation in the material universe.

The death of the Flayer alone has left the Necrons plagued by an almost incurable flaying plague. The destruction of more C'tan gods may be enough to bring about the demise of the real universe itself.

But now it's different. Somewhere in the galaxy, a facility used to create a new universe offers the possibility of replacing the Star God. Perhaps it can permanently erase the Star God's existence while filling the reality gap left by his death.

The extinction of a species is often not due to predation, but due to competition for ecological niches. Now, with the emergence of a better "alternative" of realistic laws, there is no need for the Star God to continue to exist.

Next time it won’t be a seal.

……

In the Middle Ages, when faced with natural disasters, farmers sang a mournful ballad: "Oh, God, you are not good at doing things. May the sky collapse!"

Now, thanks to technological advancements, that song is becoming a reality, and the evil god will be kicked off his throne.

The Federation wants to achieve their goal of the past three hundred years, to bring down all slave owners and make them receive the punishment they deserve, so these star god slave owners cannot escape either.

But Morphitlan will not sit idly by. He plans to stir up a bigger storm to destroy these creatures that pose a greater threat to his recovery plan than the Necrons.

Just as he had done in the past when the Nightbringer had deceived and devoured his own kind, he began to think about how to command his surviving compatriots and the new and immature species emerging in the galaxy to serve as his cannon fodder.

He already had his own plan for this. Not only was this fragment free, but the other parts would also obey the command of the first consciousness.

They will begin to weave a web of lies and truth, just as they had deceived Azagrod in the past.

Malphitelan would involve other C'tan, Greenskins, Humans, Necrons, and the newly born Zerg creatures in his flawlessly orchestrated encirclement. And even if they all failed, Malphitelan would have a backup plan.

The Deguji must be destroyed, at any cost. Or better yet, this creation can be in the hands of Murphtlan, and then his completion and even further ascension will come.

But the Federation didn't know what he was planning, and even if they did, they wouldn't care.

……

But his other brothers were very concerned. With Murphitlan's actions, Catan across the galaxy began to stir.

A sphere at the edge of the galaxy began to move, its destructive power causing the swarms of Tyranids rushing along to retreat. In their perception, it was not food or competitors, but a natural disaster that needed to be avoided.

At the same time, the dimensional prisons of various undead dynasties began to show unusual movements, and the fragments of the star gods seemed to be beginning to regain more independent consciousness.

They even attacked the undead's confinement facilities. The relevant phase technicians suspected that the previous actions that affected the laws of reality were the main reasons for the Star God's rampage.

This situation escalated, and when a fragment of the Deathly Nightbringer turned traitor on the spot and struck back at his enemies, the Necron Dynasties were forced to suspend the use of C'tan shards as decisive weapons.

These circumstances left the Necrons exhausted in their efforts to re-suppress the restless fragments of the Star God, and as a result, they were severely frustrated by Setana's massive attacks and plunder.

But the real fun was yet to come. His second most powerful brother, a technical expert among the Star Gods, also felt the reflection of reality and heard the call.

It's bound to do something.

Chapter 204: The Era of Deterrence.

The Federation has not yet considered the Star God's plan, or rather, it knows nothing about it. They are at a critical point in history and their task is extremely difficult.

Although the people of Helka have achieved amazing expansion and technological breakthroughs in the past few decades, becoming the first great power in the galaxy.

But at this moment, the Federation did not have the time or luxury to continue expanding its territory. Enemies across the galaxy were attacking, and they themselves were being firmly tied down by several key missions.

……

The Federation's most advanced multidimensional physics department has begun research and development of the event horizon probe system.

At the heart of the Event Horizon Probe is a super-technological device created entirely by transcendental logic, known as the Deguchi Module, which will be used for journeys across the multiverse.

More supporting facilities, such as high-latitude warehousing, singularity pressure adaptation, and space-time theory synchronization and other applied technologies are also under development.

Only when they are all in place can the creation of the event horizon probe officially begin. This is a device that spans the universe, and the relevant content cannot be taken lightly.

……

The Engineering Department was busy with work related to the Webway. Through the ruins of the Eldar Empire in the Webway, the Federation successfully found technical information related to the Amulet of Vaal, also known as the Blackstone Fortress.

This weapon, powerful enough to destabilize the reality dimension, was originally created by the Eldar to destroy the C'tan. If multiple of them were created and activated in parallel, their power could potentially shatter Setana's invincible Storm Wall, thwarting the Synthetic Queen's ambitions.

……

Social science personnel are also in turmoil. A devastating war has broken out in the Soul Dimension, as two factions, the Dark Prince Slaanesh and the Eldar Death Goddess Enid, battle for control of Isha, the Eldar Goddess of Life.

Due to Evelyne's successful assassination of the Black Muse, Enid matured further, her power increased tremendously, and her growth rate even threatened Slaanesh's position.

Meanwhile, the other Chaos Gods were watching, watching for an opportunity to intervene. But while the mantis stalks the cicada, there's always someone else behind it. Sigmar also saw this change.

Sigmar realized that the outcome of this battle would determine the possible future of life in the Soul Dimension and even affect the entire galaxy.

As such, he called upon the Confederacy's psionic entities and psionic legions to join the fight, with the goal of ensuring that Isha did not fall into the hands of the Chaos Gods, and preferably into the control of the Confederacy.

Isa had previously collaborated with the Helka Federation and was one of the few Old Ones in the galaxy truly willing to help mortal civilizations. If the Federation could make her an ally, it would greatly enhance their influence in the soul dimension.

Besides, she is an old acquaintance of ours, and the federal people cannot sit idly by and watch her escape from the tiger's mouth and fall into the wolf's den.

……

While scientists and psykers were busy with their respective tasks, the Federation's military was facing unprecedented challenges.

Helka's application of the Infinite Proposition action triggered a series of chain reactions, and various forces launched attacks on them.

The Great Khan of Greenskins, now recognized as the second Beast, has sent a battle moon to initiate a war with the Federation's Waaagh! If his expansion cannot be stopped, this battle is likely to turn into a galaxy-spanning catastrophe.

Due to complex circumstances, the Necrons split into several factions. Among them, the Storm King Imotekh united the radical dynasties that opposed the Silent King's strategy of "compromise and surrender to the descendants of the Ancients."

He has now become the main enemy of the Federation's expansion to the north. This old rival has recovered a lot by absorbing other Undead Dynasties, and has the determination and capital to fight a fierce battle with the Federation.

Even the Imperium has prepared a new expeditionary force to attempt to reclaim the Calixis Sector, their ships demonstrating excellent capabilities in both Warp and physical space navigation and combat.

Perhaps the Empire also received some kind of support, or even more than just the infusion of psychic entities in the Warp. In any case, they have now become an official enemy of the Federation.

The major military allies were mobilized again, and they took the initiative to attack and keep the enemy out of the country.

……

However, none of these tasks are as difficult as the tasks of the federal engineering units, which are responsible for establishing a new, more efficient federal firepower delivery and key target strike system.

The relevant tasks revolve around a series of giant structures and the newly opened network system connected to the hyperspace stargate network. Once they are successfully constructed and debugged, the armies in front of them will become useless.

That is the interstellar deterrence system composed of two giant structures, the Sentinel Array and the Falling Star Spear.

In the pre-FTL era of atomic energy, research into the weaponization of nuclear energy was an inevitable path for most civilizations. This research would bring about a terrifying balance, as such weapons, with their immense destructive power and enormous strike radius, would be enough to make surface civilizations feel unable to bear the losses they would cause, ultimately reverting to a state of indifference and détente.

This deterrence system will rebuild the nuclear deterrence system of surface civilization in the new era. We will launch strategic super weapons on the scale of the starry sea to conduct detection and strikes, and say goodbye to landing battles completely.

……

This deterrent system consists of two parts.

First up is the Sentinel Array. The Sentinel Array is a spatial scanning device that, upon completion, is expected to provide a complete galactic map. The Federation will have complete visibility of the entire galaxy, with the exception of certain Warp-influenced and Necron-infested worlds.

Although only the final level of the array can see the galaxies within the nebula, when it is fully upgraded, the observation range can even reach as far as the L-gate.

The construction of this giant structure is obviously not like building an astronomical telescope at a high price. Its field of view is very valuable because our ultimate move has almost infinite range.

The second part of the firepower delivery megastructure used to output destructive power is the Falling Star Sky Spear.
