——The final right of interpretation for all bugs belongs to the (the faintly visible word "Siyuan" has been erased) All-Stars production team.

This is a story about a civilization chosen by the Fourth Scourge, who brought his will to the Warhammer universe, which was full of intrusive influences, and became the only one who had the final say in the starry sea.

ps1: The main species is the dragon-like aliens who originated from breaking the shackles, and they are not the ones who join the empire.

ps2: The mod version of Stellaris causes confusion and strange intrusions of elements. If you find any of the three major special effects/cyber martial arts/technological cultivation/Warship Girls/others, please maintain harmony.

1. The successor of the spear

(The story takes place between chapters 138 and 148)

Narrator: You, the Avatar, guest of Theodora, Master of the Rogue Trader Dynasty, stroll aboard a voidship forged from divinely blessed molten gold. Past the silent, cold statue of the great Emperor of Mankind, the Servo Skull flies over the head of this impassive God of Mankind.

Narrator: You are perched on a high platform, overlooking this void world, the tiny kingdom of the most lawless and adventurous man in the empire.

Kunrad Wittwill: "This is truly a place perfect for contemplation." A man walks towards you, gazing off into the distance, deep within the vast temple below. "From here, you have the most breathtaking view of the Cathedral. It's truly marvelous, don't you think? An unassailable manifestation of the God-Emperor's majesty."

You: "Nothing compares to what I've seen."

Narrator: The collateral heir of the von Valancienne dynasty was vague in his words, and no one knew whether he was commenting on the magnificent scenery here or alluding to something else.

Kunrad Witwill: The man nodded with satisfaction, as if your words confirmed his opinion. "All temples to the God-Emperor were built for this purpose, to inspire awe and reverence in the people. Therefore, his servants must serve him unceasingly until they have the opportunity to sacrifice their lives for the Master of Mankind." He sighed and turned to you.

Kunrad Witwill: "Then please allow me to introduce myself. I am Kunrad Witwill, the Whisper Lord of the Rogue Trader Lady Theodora von Valancius, always at your service. I have never had the honor of talking to you in person..." Witwill lowered his head and looked at you.

You: "I am the High Executive, the Avatar."

Kunrad Wittwill: "Greetings, Avatar." Wittwill smiled, gazing at you from head to toe. "Or should I address you as Avatar von Valancius, a noble descendant of the Imperial Rogue Trader Dynasty? Perhaps such a connection shocks you. This is understandable, as all evidence of your kinship vanished over the generations between you and Captain-General Theodora. The Lady's servants took great pains to locate you and confirm your kinship. Now, you are one of the heirs of this dynasty."

You: "That's enough as a small talk. Tell me why you're here."

Kunrad-Witwill: "Of course, I intended to invite you to meet with Lady Theodora. I imagine you have many questions for her, and I'm sure she has many questions for you as well. It's a shame you haven't had the opportunity to talk. This voyage has been filled with hardships so far."

Narrator: You did not dare to neglect the Captain-Lord's summons, and together with Kunrad, you embarked on a journey to pay homage to Theodora, the Lord of the Rogue Merchant Dynasty.

Narrator: On the way, you heard the noise of fighting, and then you saw a worker fleeing to the other side while warning you, "Run! The servitors are going crazy!"

Narrator: You are not afraid of the attack of these cyborg slaves. In fact, you can say that you regard them as worthless. Kunrad watched you take out a weapon called "slashing spear" or Guandao, and then in an instant separated the heads and bodies of several out-of-control machine slaves.

Kunrad Witwell: "Amazing feats! But there's no time for demonstrations. The timing of this incident is truly suspicious. The servitor malfunctioned on the officers' deck, right where the Rogue Trader and her heir were." Witwell stared at the remains on the ground, unsheathed his communicator from his belt, spoke a few quick commands, and then turned to you. "I've sealed all passages between the upper and lower decks. If this was a premeditated attack, sealing off the decks should prevent the enemy from carrying out their plan."

Narrator: Following his instructions, security personnel began to move in.

Kunrad Witwill: The wrinkles on Witwill's forehead smoothed out, and his voice returned to its usual politeness. "I'm afraid I must remain here, Nebula. For Lady Theodora's safety, I must personally ensure these orders are carried out. I hope your path to the observation deck is safe, located at the end of this corridor." The Lord of Whispers bowed politely to you.

Narrator: You no longer pay attention to him and embark on the pilgrimage alone. Finally, next to a cluster of holy candles on the observation deck, you find your goal.

.........

Narrator: In that empty steel cabin, several people were arguing.

Edsad: "This is utterly unreasonable, Lady Theodora." A man in strange attire spoke in a strained voice. His face, half covered in synthetic skin, twisted in a look of discontent and disbelief. "Assimilating trade structures is tantamount to destroying our own political and economic walls. It's tantamount to acknowledging heresy!"

Theodora: A tall, gray-haired woman stared at him, her electronic eyes flashing crimson. "Then propose an alternative plan that satisfies me. I have made the situation clear; your proposal must be no less favorable than that proposed by my Commander-in-Chief. Make your decision. How will you handle the situation on Ion VI, Edessaad?"

Narrator: Your impression of Edsaad is that he seems to be about thirty years old, with a parchment-like skin covered by a solid layer of muscle, implants, and bones. Whether it's the nervous movement of his fingers, the slight twitching of his face, or the stiff movements, it all suggests that he has some kind of physical illness or defect.

Narrator: And Theodora had this haughty air, this air of a ruler, and it was directed toward you.

Theodora: "Our second candidate has arrived." You hear the dry, female voice, feel the burning gaze, and turn your attention to Theodora. The Rogue Trader is now looking directly at you. Her gaze, like her, is predatory and oppressive. "Come here. Tell me your answer.

Narrator: You explained that your only hope was to serve the Captain-Lord. You weren't an expert on trade agreements, so you weren't prepared to offer any advice. You were better with the spear than with pen and paper.

Theodora: "In that case, I'm going to..." Theodora's audio array beeped again, and this time you heard screams and shouts. She paused, listening to the voices, then nodded and drew her weapon. "We've received reports of a disturbance on a nearby deck. Commander, if necessary, please protect our newcomer." She glanced at you. "Perhaps you can prove your worth in advance."

Narrator: You see a group of heavily armed rebels filing in from the side and surrounding you. Just as Theodora said, it's time for you to show your worth.

You: "I treat chicken thieves and dog thieves like dirt!"

.........

Narrator: Together with the chief warrior of the Rogue Trader Dynasty, you fought your way through numerous rebels and met Kunrad who came to support you.

Narrator: Theodora finds this puzzling. While rebellions are common under the Empire's oppressive rule, this one is so well-organized that it must be orchestrated. He orders you and Kunrad, whom you've just reunited with, to find another heir, and the general to seek out her advisor. He and the chief warrior return to the study to search for a valuable relic.

Narrator: You had no doubts about this mission, and it would not have seemed difficult to accomplish, had Kunrad not betrayed you.

Narrator: When you wake up, you find yourself surrounded by Kunrad's men and escorted to a heavy gate. Kunrad proudly describes how he planned all this to gain power in the Rogue Trader Dynasty. Now there is only one obstacle.

Kunrad Witwell: "We stand in the antechamber of the Hall of Grants, the most sacred abode of this voidship. There, behind that gate, lies the sacred Trade Grant, from which all of Theodora's power derives. Only one obstacle remains to reach it. The door to this hall is guarded by the Sentinel, an ancient device that can only be opened by the true heir of the dynasty. I would have preferred to complete this step myself, but never mind. You can offer your blood to the Sentinel."

Narrator: You pretended to be very weak and cooperated with his request, but in fact you were looking for a way to escape.

Narrator: As you dip your hand into the Thinker, letting it collect its blood, a voice echoes in your mind, perhaps the sacred machine spirit of this ship, asking if you need help.

Machine Spirit: "High concentration of corrosive fluid detected. The target is in a state of high tension. Do you need assistance?"

You: (I really need it! Help me deal with these enemies!)

Narrator: The Machine Spirit followed suit, and many rebels listened in horror as the voice of "Sentinel Array has been activated" was heard, and then they were instantly buried by machine guns and flamethrowers.

Narrator: Kunrad cursed, then opened a portal and escaped. It was obvious that he had become involved in evil witchcraft.

Narrator: You took the opportunity to hide in the Hall of Investiture, where the sacred investiture, shed in the blood of the Emperor of Mankind himself, is stored. A relic perhaps more precious than anything here. Inscribed upon it are the God-Emperor's earnest instructions, becoming a model for humanity, surviving hardships and achieving greatness.

Narrator: That's a wonderful irony of the current state of the universe.

Narrator: As you patiently admire this great relic, a servo skull flies over and Theodora's voice comes out from it.

Servo Skull: Amidst the mechanical creaking, the voice of Theodora von Valancius emerged from the servo skull. Although the voice was distorted and tinged with static, it was unmistakably Theodora von Valancius's. "Master of the Sound Array, immediately restore communication with the Navigator's Sanctuary! I am attempting to contact the bridge. If anyone on this channel can hear me, immediately reorganize all forces and proceed to the upper deck! I repeat, immediately reorganize all forces and proceed to—"

Narrator: You think it's best to obey Theodora's orders before things get out of hand.

Narrator: When you walked out of the awarding hall, you saw the Chief Controller Abelard. The old man looked resolute but anxious, and beside him was a white-haired woman.

Abelard: Lord General Abelard Wilson did not look as elegant as before. His forehead was sweaty, and one of the sleeves of his coat was torn and soaked with blood. Although he looked a little embarrassed and his breathing was heavy, his posture was still steady and his eyes were still stern. However, he looked a little surprised. "Lord Valancius! How... What are you doing in the investiture hall?" He looked at the tragic scene around him and put a hand on his weapon. "In the name of the Golden Throne, what is going on?"

Dark: "Don't be so rude to the heir, old man. Your mission also includes protecting him." The masked woman beside him made a friendly voice that made you feel a little relieved. But when you looked at her face, you had a strange feeling. Maybe she was not like this originally?

Narrator: The chaos will continue.

2. The Beginning of Hegemony

Narrator: The chaos continues. You explain your experience to the bewildered Consul General, trying to dispel his doubts.

You: "Kundera-Wittwer is a damned traitor. He just kidnapped me and tried to open the door to the warrant depository, but was repelled by the security system."

Abelard: Abelard stares at you as if a frog has just jumped out of your mouth. "Excuse me, sir, what nonsense are you talking about? You say Kunrad is a traitor?

You: "That's true. On the other side, the charred bodies of Kundra's men lie. But we don't have time to give them a funeral. We must find the First Heir and the Captain himself."

Abelard examined you carefully. "Perhaps we can confirm this later. Your condition is dire, my lord. I can treat your wounds now. I have a medical kit with me. And, for the sake of the Golden Throne, if you go on deck at this time, you will not be able to do so without a means of self-defense. Here, take these." He handed you the sword and pistol.

You: "This is enough for me." You pointed to the spear and bow behind you that seemed out of place at the moment, indicating that you were well prepared.

Dark: "A very special weapon."

You: "Would you mind introducing me to Abelard?"

Abelard: "This is one of the guests personally invited by the Lord Captain. Lady Shade, due to her knowledge and ability, serves as Lady Theodora's personal advisor."

Dark: The white-haired woman, wearing a strange black mask and lightweight power armor, bowed to you. The upper half of her face, unmasked by the mask, paired with her ruby-red eyes, was unusually beautiful, yet you still felt a sense of dissonance. "Greetings, heir to the Valancius dynasty. Please do not blame Abelard for being overly cautious. The situation is already chaotic enough."

You: You said you felt the pain in your wound had subsided. "I've rested enough. Let's get down to business."

Abelard: "It seems you can now handle the next test."

Narrator: This patchwork team stumbles forward, trying to use their own strength to prevent the ship from capsizing in a huge conspiracy. Can they do it?

.........

Narrator: There's an unsettling atmosphere in this passageway, as if the power of the Warp is slowly seeping into the ship.

Narrator: You heard a scream, which made you subconsciously raise your sword, but then you saw the person who screamed fell to the ground, and the cause of all this was a psychic beam emitted by a woman.

Idira: The woman before you turns and looks directly at you. Her eyes gleam with a light from another world. "And so, guided by a deceived guide, he will enter the hall, witness the light of the Last Dawn through the cracks, and fall victim to fate's trick..."

Abelard: "My Lord, be careful with your head!"

Narrator: You heard Abelard's warning and a noise on the roof, so you instinctively lunged forward and successfully dodged a piece of falling steel, as did others.

Abelard: "Idira!" Abelard complained, dusting himself off and tightening his grip on his weapon again. "Can't you speak more clearly? It was really dangerous just now!

Idira: The woman burst into a raspy laugh, as if drunk. "Excuse me, old man, but the noise was so loud I couldn't hear what I was saying! They were screaming and singing, oh, Abelard, they were singing so loudly!"

Abelard: "My lord, this is Idiratras, the personal diviner and psychic to Lady Theodora von Valancius." Abelard looked her over.

Idira: "I'm not drinking, old man. I'm simply enduring the effects of the Warp, which have seeped into this ship. I see its final fate, its demise amidst the surging waves of the Warp, its fading ash in the dawn's light... And amidst that blazing flame, a figure stands... Who is that figure? I don't know."

Idira: "The whispers called to me, the ones I could hear above all the screams and cries. The enemies who attacked the ship, they struck the ship's vitals. Some voices urged me to seek the Navigator, our guide through the Warp. Others urged me to check the engines... but by then it was too late. I could hear the screaming of the main gear... and then the dead silence."

Abelard: "What did you say? You mean to say that the Main Engine Prophet has..."

Idira: "He's dead, no doubt about it. As for those wailing sounds, they portend countless nightmares. Hundreds of souls have become part of the Warp, and each one screams loudly. As for those from the Navigator's Sanctuary, their screams are louder than the rest. We'd better hurry and save those Navigators, and don't waste time with the technicians in the cooling module or the cook on the mid-deck!"

Sound Array Skull: The servo skull that's followed you all the way here suddenly clicked a few times in its relays. Theodora's frantic words were drowned out by a vaguely familiar voice. "...Officer Channel. All those within earshot, if you have weapons, assemble on the officers' deck immediately. I repeat, everyone, assemble on the officers' deck immediately. We are preparing to counter-..."

Abelard: "It is the voice of Edsard! By the Emperor, another heir lives! Quick, we must go..."

Idira: "Don't worry, old man! If we're consumed by the Warp, even a few more of Lady Theodora's heirs won't help! If Edsard hasn't been completely consumed by the Warp like me, then he can still hold on for a while even without us!"

Idira froze in place, then patted her face, rubbed her eyes, and looked at you. The strange light in her eyes disappeared, and a smile appeared on her lips. "We have other work to do, right? The signs here indicate that there is a navigator nearby. That person may be crippled, or may be breathing but not dead. Since the skin on our faces is still well wrapped around our faces, just a little rough, then the navigator must not have opened his third eye yet. In that case, what are we still doing? Why not take advantage of the time we are still alive and quickly protect that noble mutant!"

Narrator: Without the Navigator family, it would be impossible to find the normal route. You completely followed Idira's advice and went to look for the Navigator among the Navigators.

Narrator: When Valancius's heir arrived, a group of rebels could be seen attempting to breach the Navigator's protective stance.

Narrator: You rushed into the group of rebels with no mercy. The other three people could only see body parts flying everywhere and the rebels screaming.

Narrator: That's really efficient. Unfortunately, you were late before the battle even started.

Vespiada: Before your eyes, the creature on the chair seems to have become one with it. You can see that its limbs are covered with numerous extra joints, unlike those of a normal human. Parchment-pink skin spreads from its limbs, covering the entire seat. The Navigator is breathing heavily, a hissing sound as air flows through two dark gill-like slits on its face. The Navigator's eyes are closed, both the normal eye and the third eye in the center of its forehead.

Narrator: Your fortune teller soon discovered that Vespiada was possessed by a demon and that he would soon die.

Vespiada: A voice emanated from the synthesizer beneath him. "Run... escape this place while I still have strength..." a painful murmur echoed from the synthesizer. "I can resist, but not for long. I must warp out of the Archon immediately... but I can only launch the ship with the help of the helmsman..."

Dark: "He won't be able to hold on for much longer. The corruption inflicted on him by the malevolent psychic entity is beyond our control! We must jump back to the material dimension immediately, or we'll never stand a chance!"

You: "(to Abelard) He's dying, what's next?"

Abelard: The Grand Master gazed at the figure in the chair. "This ship can only be warped out of the Warp with the assistance of the Coxswain, assuming he's still alive. It's worth a try. We must reach the bridge, but we need assistance. Our only option is to rush all the way to the officers' deck and rendezvous with Edsard and his men. I believe Lady Theodora is there. She must have heard the assembly order the Servo-Skull gave us earlier."

Narrator: You left the navigator here to fulfill his final mission. After all, you can't do anything to help him.

Narrator: You are taking the elevator to the scabbard. On the way, you see some rebels lying on the ground. They have been killed by accurate gunfire.

Narrator: And then you know who did it. The Battle Sister, with head held high, chanting the Emperor's prayer, fighting her way through the throng of menacing enemies.

Ajetta: "I will show no mercy to your enemies, nor will I listen to their pleas. I will not betray your creed, not even a whit. My God, my Light, my Emperor!"

Ajetta: The white-haired warrior turns to face you. Her dark eyes gleam, and the weapon in her hand trembles. For a moment, it seems she has no intention of stopping, but to continue slaughtering everyone in sight, starting with you.

Abelard: "Sister Ajetta!" The voice of the Grand Master pulled Sister Ajetta out of her battle trance. "Sister Ajetta, it's a relief to see you. We need to muster all the strength we can!"

Ajetta: The young woman known as "Ajetta" lowered her weapon and scanned the others with a burning gaze before turning her gaze to you. "I've never seen your face before. Who are you?"

You: "I am one of the lord's captain's successors, and I am here to fight the enemy."

Ajieta: Ajieta looked at you seriously again. You caught a glimpse of something strange in the depths of her dark eyes, like an inner struggle or an unspoken question. But in the end, she nodded. "This era is filled with darkness and terror. Corruption is rampant on this ship. The smiles of friends are twisted by the sneers of heretics, and the eyes of comrades are ignited by the hunger of Chaos's great enemy. I intend to do everything I can to prevent the spread of evil. However, in this critical moment, there is almost no one I can trust. Therefore, I must understand, why are you here?"

You: (Successful check) "You've become even more wary since hearing I'm the heir. Why? Now I'm the one questioning your loyalty, Battle Sister."

Abelard: "Sister, I beg you!" Abelard seemed to be losing patience. "Now is not the time for interrogation. This ship is under attack by heretics, and we have been betrayed by the respected Lord of Whispers. Heir Edsard is awaiting our assistance, and Captain Lord Theodora is awaiting our triumphant return. We are here to solve this problem! Therefore, I suggest that we solve this problem together."

Abelard: (Turning to you) "Sister Ajetta is the Captain's guest. We should discuss this later."
