From then on until the Great Rift opened, the Empire was unable to truly control the entire Taiping Star Region. It was also because of these reasons that the resources allocated by the Empire to the Taiping Star Region were the least among all the star regions.
Isil is located in a star region near the Hazy Star Region in the Pacific Star Region. This planet is classified as a civilized world in the Imperial World Classification, with a low level of environmental pollution. Its capital is the only hive city on the planet, and there are also many densely populated cities.
During the Great Crusade, there was a very famous planet near the sector where Isil was located. This planet was once the home of a Primarch, but now all information about this planet and that Primarch has been destroyed by the Empire.
I almost forgot to mention that the planet is called Colchis, and the Primarch is called Lorgar Aurelion.
An Imperial fleet has been in orbit of Isil for nearly half a year. Commanding this fleet is the Inquisition's battlecruiser, the Rebuke.
About two years ago, a rebellion broke out on Isil. All cities except the planet's capital fell quickly in a short period of time. The planetary governor immediately sent a star-field distress signal and reported that traces of heresy and witchcraft were found among the rebels.
Given the Empire's administrative efficiency, by the time the Ministry of Military Affairs dispatched the Astra Militarum to quell the rebellion, Isil had already been occupied for who knows how many years. If the signs of heresy were true, it would be questionable whether the entire planet could be kept.
Isil's PDF relied on the hive city to resist the attacks of the rebels, but faced with the evil witchcraft of the heretics, the PDF's lines were broken one by one. In just one year, the positions outside the hive city and the areas below the upper nest had all fallen. According to some surviving soldiers, there were terrible monsters among the rebels, and angel-like warriors could be vaguely seen.
Just when the planetary governor was about to despair, the Rebuke led a team to the orbit of Isil and announced that the Inquisition would intervene in the rebellion.
"Teacher, I have something to report to you."
"come in."
Inside the Reprimand, trainee judge Mikasa walked into the captain's room. She looked at her teacher, Eren Grisha, with great respect.
Since officially becoming an Inquisitor ten years ago, Allen has been a shining star in the Inquisition. He made his debut in the Order of the Heretic, and in just ten years, he has thwarted the conspiracies of traitors several times, destroyed multiple heretical cults, and even killed powerful demons with ease, which is something many experienced Inquisitors cannot do.
More importantly, Allen was only in his early thirties when he achieved these results, and he was also a beta-level controllable psychic recognized by the Empire. He was destined to have a bright future.
After Allen demonstrated his extraordinary abilities, many factions within the Inquisition hoped that he would join, but Allen, like his mentor, chose to become a member of the pure faction - the Amalas faction.
The Order of the Holy Hammer has invited Allen to join more than once, believing that Allen's abilities can be better utilized in the Order, but Allen also refused. His response was:
[Whichever Order we are in, we all serve the Emperor and Humanity.]
"What do you want to talk to me about, Mikasa?" Allen stopped writing and asked the student, "Did something happen down there?"
Mikasa shook her head and replied:
"Everything is fine in Isil. Marshal Koslo asked me to ask the teacher why we didn't continue the attack on the traitors."
"I've already answered this question to Marshal Koslo. We haven't yet fully ascertained the enemy's true strength, and our companions haven't yet arrived. Now is not the time to attack."
Alan stood up and continued:
"Please tell Marshal Koslo that I don't distrust the Black Templar's strength, but I hope to avoid unnecessary losses."
Mikasa wrote down Allen's words, but she was still confused about one thing:
"Teacher, are you waiting for the Nebula Hammer Regiment?"
"Yes, I am waiting for them." Allen admitted it directly.
"But there are already two Astartes Chapters in the fleet, one of which is the famous Black Templars. What enemy can stop such a force?"
Alan shook his head. Two Astartes regiments were indeed enough to defeat most of the Empire's enemies, but would the enemy he was tracking be so simple?
"Don't underestimate the enemy here. I have been tracking these traitors for nearly ten years. During this time, they have destroyed many worlds and massacred countless citizens of the Empire. It will be no easy task to defeat them."
"But what if the Nebula Hammer Regiment can't come?"
In an Imperium where war is constantly raging, it is possible for an Astartes Chapter to be caught up in another war.
"They will definitely come." Alan said affirmatively while looking at the rosary hanging on his chest.
Mikasa didn't understand why her teacher was so obsessed with the Nebula Hammer Regiment, but she still listened to Allen's words and prepared to report to Marshal Koslo of the Black Templar Expeditionary Fleet.
"Lord Allen, we received a communication. They call themselves the Nebula Hammer Regiment. They came to support us after receiving your message."
The communicator conveyed the news of the arrival of Nebula Hammer to Allen through the radio, and Allen smiled after hearing it.
Sure enough, they came.
The group set out from the Extreme Star Region and spent more than a month crossing the Milky Way to arrive in the Taiping Star Region. Fortunately, Gloria had adjusted the internal time during the superluminal voyage, so only a few days seemed to have passed for everyone, otherwise they would have been bored to death during this period.
When there was a little distance left, Gloria switched from superluminal speed to subluminal speed and slowly drove to where Alan was.
"Arrived at destination, detected the Reprimand, and is sending a message."
Gloria sent a message to the Reprimand about everyone's arrival, and at the same time displayed the fleet image on Isil.
"Hiss~ With a fleet of this size, what on earth is that kid Allen doing?"
The fleet that the Reprimand belonged to consisted of a total of 10 warships, not counting the heavily modified battlecruiser the Reprimand. The fleet included two battle barges, two strike cruisers, one Imperial Navy cruiser, and four destroyers and frigates.
This fleet's firepower alone was enough to blast a planet into smithereens. The battle barges and strike cruisers bore the insignia of two different Astartes Chapters. What enemy was Alan trying to defeat by bringing such a force to this planet? Was it some abstract creature armed with a divine artifact?
Eryu: "What are the names of those two Astartes Chapters?"
Ah Wei: "I think I bought a toy of one of them. I remember it was called Black Templar. I don't know the other one."
The Black Templars, commonly known as the Black Greenskins and Black Orcs, are a Chapter of the Adeptus Astartes that completely disobeys the Codex Astartes. They are indeed one of the largest, most powerful and most popular Chapters in Warhammer 40k, even surpassing their parent Chapter, the Imperial Fists, in terms of popularity.
The Black Templars were founded during the Second Founding of the Empire and are one of the earliest chapters of the Empire. Their predecessors were the Templars (also the First Company of the Imperial Fists) led by Sigismund, the Emperor's Champion, and some of the legion's elite veterans. Sigismund naturally became the first Supreme Grand Marshal (chapter leader) of the Black Templars.
Because of this relationship, the Black Templars are also Rogal Dorn's favorite sub-regiment. When they split up, the Black Templars directly took away the Legion's Queen of Glory-class battleship - Eternal Expedition and a lot of good things. If it weren't for the need to leave some assets for the parent group, Dorn would have wanted to throw the Mountain Array to the Black Templars.
The Black Templars are one of the few organizations that worship the Emperor of Mankind as a god and follow the Imperial Creed. Each of their members is a standard fanatic (Magic Witness). Since their establishment, the Black Templars have embarked on the longest holy war/expedition in the history of the Human Empire to prove their loyalty to the Emperor of Mankind.
In terms of chapter style, the Black Templars attach great importance to melee combat ability and honor, and their fanaticism further strengthens this point. The saying that the Black Templars produce sword masters comes from this, but this is actually biased, because there are many Dornish heirs who can use swords, but Sigismund's Black Templar is the most famous.
Like other Chapters, the Black Templars hate traitors, xenos, and mutants, the latter of which even includes psykers. As a result, the Black Templars have no Librarians, but they do utilize psykers in other non-combat roles, such as astropaths and navigators, and hold such individuals in special reverence, believing them to be able to communicate directly with the Emperor.
For thousands of years, the Black Templars have been carrying out expeditions. There are Black Templar expeditionary fleets almost everywhere in the Milky Way. The sizes of these expeditionary fleets vary, with the number of people ranging from dozens to thousands (the standard is 50-300). Each expeditionary fleet can also recruit soldiers on its own. Every time they conquer a world, they usually build a fortress on it to recruit new soldiers. No one knows how many troops the Black Templars have in total.
Xianyu: "There's also a lion head pattern. Could it be the sub-group of the Lion King?"
Apu: "Do you two still remember?"
Apu also had some impression of the chapter standard with the lion head pattern, but he forgot which chapter it was. However, he vaguely remembered that it was not a sub-chapter of the Great Lion.
Brother Ou: "Let me think, Lion Head..."
Luochen: "We'll know when we go up and ask. War groups must greet each other."
Everyone couldn't remember which regiment this was for a moment, so they could only wait until they met Allen to ask.
The Reprimand responded to everyone, and Allen asked everyone to drive the ship to the fleet first, and then go to the Condemnation for a talk.
As everyone approached the fleet, several ships inside voluntarily made way so that the Blue Silver Sword could stop closer to the Reprimand. Afterwards, Brother Ou took Xianyu and Luochen and boarded the Thunder Eagle to the Reprimand.
Alan was waiting for everyone to arrive. Normally he would not come here in person. The Thunder Eagle of the Nebula Hammer flew into the launch area and slowly landed on the platform where he was.
Ou Ge and others got off the Thunder Eagle and saw the face they hadn't seen for just a few months. Compared to when they were in Atis, Allen had matured a lot, but his eyes hadn't changed at all.
"It's been almost twelve years since we last met, Alan. Now I should call you Judge Alan." Brother Ou stepped forward and greeted him.
"It's been a long time since we last met, Captain Orton, Captain Seteface and Lord Daxter. It's nice to see familiar faces again. Are the other monks still there?" Alan asked. Eleven years is enough time for a chapter to change.
"Although some of our brothers died during this incident, we are still together."
"Really? Then I'm really lucky."
As the two chatted, Ou Ge saw a woman standing behind the platform who was about the same age as Allen in Atis. He asked Allen:
"Won't you introduce me?"
"Her name is Mikasa, and she's my student."
Alan asked Mikasa to come forward and greet the three members of Nebula Hammer.
When Ou Ge heard Mikasa's name, he realized that this was Li Li Li. Why was she still with Alan in Warhammer 40k? Although they had the same name, their personalities were quite different.
"Come to my office and we'll talk while we walk."
On the way, Alan told Ou Ge and others about his experiences in the past eleven years. One year after the Attis incident, he became an official inquisitor of the Anti-Rebellion Order. During the years as an inquisitor, he has been practicing his own ideas. After solving the problems on a planet, he will try his best to fight for better living conditions for local civilians. He also knows that doing so is just a drop in the bucket for the empire, but it can at least make some people live better.
"Where's Inquisitor Credien?"
"Teacher, he is still in the Storm Star Region handling his own affairs."
Entering Allen's office, both parties were ready to get down to business. Brother Ou asked first:
"Alan, what do you want from us? I don't think your fleet is in urgent need of reinforcements."
"This is just the surface. The real crisis has not yet arrived."
"What did you predict?" Luo Chen asked from the side. He knew that Alan's psychic power had been fully awakened. It was not surprising that Alan had multiple abilities given his psychic power level.
"As expected of Lord Dust, you guessed it right. I did see some things, but first listen to me slowly."
Before explaining everything, Alan mentioned something very important to him:
"Aitis... is destroyed."

Chapter 54 Son of Dorne
Perhaps the fate of Atis was already determined when that unknown astropathic communication was sent.
Two years after the Aitis incident, a traitor fleet arrived at Aitis. They cut off Aitis's external communications. No one knew what they were doing on the planet until a wandering merchant passed by and discovered the abnormality.
The Rogue Merchant sent a message to the Inquisition. Credien and Allen, who were still in the Storm Star Field at the time, rushed to Atis as soon as possible. However, when they arrived, the inhabitants of the planet had already been slaughtered and the entire planet was contaminated by the power of the warp.
Aitis could no longer be saved and was no longer of value to the empire. After assessing the situation, Credien acted decisively. In order to prevent the pollution from spreading to other planets, it was inevitable to issue an extermination order against Aitis.
An Extermination Order is an action that can only be issued in extreme circumstances to destroy an entire planet's biosphere and all life on that world. When the cost of defending or retaking a world is considered too high, or when mutations, plagues, and chaos on that world cannot be contained by conventional means and are about to spread to other planets, an Extermination Order will be issued as the Empire's last resort.
"No sacrifice is too great to bear, no betrayal too small to tolerate." —Teachings of the Librarian of the Inquisition, Chapter 28, 'Extermination Order'.
Credian launched an atmospheric incineration torpedo at Attis, one of the Empire's weapons of mass destruction - the cyclone torpedo. This extinction weapon would ignite all the oxygen on the target planet after exploding in low orbit. The entire world would burn in space like a piece of amber until the surface of the planet melted into glass, leaving no life.
Extermination orders are a last resort and are considered a symbol of incompetence in the Inquisition. Every Inquisitor who issues an extermination order will be investigated afterwards, and most will be excommunicated.
Credien was naturally also investigated by the Inquisition, but he had enough evidence to prove the necessity of issuing an extermination order, and if he and Allen had not arrived in time, the other two planets in the galaxy would have suffered a catastrophic disaster.
Credien, who is still active today, has naturally passed the review, and his promotion has not been affected by this incident. In two years, he will officially become a Grand Inquisitor.
After this incident, the Inquisition ordered Credien to investigate the culprit who destroyed Aitis, but even if the Inquisition did not order it, Credien would still investigate.
The actions of this group of traitors were very covert, but Credien still found some clues through various shady means. During the tracking process, he discovered that more than one planet had been attacked by this group of traitors, and the traitors had left the Storm Star Domain and entered the Taiping Star Domain.
According to the reports of the Sector Inquisition, this group of traitors appeared several times in the Pacific Segmentum. Every time they appeared, a world was destroyed, and the Astartes Chapter suffered heavy losses in the fierce battles with them.
Finally, Credien found the whereabouts of the traitors. Their traces pointed to the star field where Isil was located, and a rebellion soon broke out in Isil. There must be a traitor behind it.
At this time, Credien had to return to the Storm Star Field because of some things. He handed the matter over to Allen to handle. At this time, Allen had experienced many events, and his excellent abilities were recognized by the Tribunal.
Credien believed that Allen's ability had long surpassed that of his teacher, and that his proud disciple could handle this matter better than him.
In fact, Allen has always been brooding over the destruction of Attis. When he learned that his teacher had entrusted the matter to him, he immediately put down what he was doing and rushed to the Taiping Star Region.
Before leaving, Credien left Allen with all the forces he could currently muster, including a small fleet of the Imperial Navy, a Cadian assault force/blitzkrieg force, and the help of the Astartes Chapter's Sky Lion Chapter. The Black Templars stayed behind voluntarily after hearing the news of the traitor while passing by.
Such a force should be enough, but Allen does not think so. After the arrival of the Black Templar, he once made a psychic prophecy and saw only the destruction of Isil.
The vague prophecy might not be accurate, so Allen chose to trust his intuition. He felt that the power here was not enough to stop the traitors on Isil, but the connections he had accumulated in the past ten years were of no help, so he remembered the Nebula Hammer.
Until now, Alan still hasn't figured out why Nebula Hammer fell in love with a young boy, but now only Nebula Hammer can help him.
"That's not right. You said that these traitors were very secretive in the Storm Star Domain, but why did they become so bold when they arrived in the Pacific Star Domain?" Brother Ou was puzzled by the change in the traitors' behavior. They were timid and afraid of being discovered before, but later they changed their style and let themselves go. How could they hide after fighting with the Astartes?
"My teacher and I also find this very strange, but the route and events match. Maybe it's just because the traitor has an erratic personality." Alan didn't know why the traitor did this. He even suspected that the other party had deliberately lured people here.
"Are these traitors a Chaos warband?" Luo Chen asked. The only ones who have the ability to drive battleships around the galaxy and defeat Space Marine chapters are the Space Marines who have joined Chaos.
Allen nodded. He had received information about the traitor from the severely damaged Astartes Chapter:
"The traitor is called the Blasphemy Blade, a Chaos warband that worships the God of Blood."
Khorne War Gang... then the previous behavior is even more wrong. Will these lunatics who are obsessed with killing people hide their tracks?
Maybe it is, after all, this group of Red Chop Chop are not brainless, but the difference in style before and after makes everyone feel that the traitors from the Storm Star Domain and the Taiping Star Domain are not the same group of people.
"I know this is strange, so I also suspect that the Blasphemy Blades are not the only warband." Alan thought the same as everyone else, he also believed that the traitors were not just one warband.
"Then let's just consider them as two war gangs. It's always better to be cautious, but if there are multiple traitors, then where are their warships?" Brother Ou did not see the wreckage of Chaos warships around the planet, and no void war had ever occurred in this galaxy.
"It might have been hidden in some way. I'm trying to find it."
Enemy ships hidden in space are deadly, and if there are multiple traitors, then the hidden ones could be a fleet.
