“Larun…I think I’ve heard that name from Wild Hunt before.” Kai’Sa looked thoughtful, but couldn’t quite place it.
"I remember, I remember, it was that saintess who was sent to the secret realm alone."
Nami's reminder made Kai'Sa realize that this Lalune was Aphelios's twin sister and the one who supplied him with the moonstone weapon.
"So this is the secret realm they were talking about?" Nami's eyes widened with curiosity, as if trying to discern what made Larun different from ordinary people. "Excuse me, are you really here alone?"
“Yes, I’ve always been all alone here before,” Larun said with a wry smile. “It’s not something to be envious of.”
"I think it's amazing! To be willing to endure a lifetime of loneliness for the sake of joining a sect, it's really touching!"
"Nami, you're no less impressive. You even conquered Mount Targon to find the Moonstone and save your people. That's truly admirable."
After a round of mutual flattery, Nami belatedly realized something was amiss. "Huh, how did you know my name?"
"Well... how should I put it? Actually, I've been watching you from above the whole time. Anyway, let's go inside and sit down." Laluen knew that spying wasn't a good thing, and thinking about how she was about to be investigated, she felt a little guilty.
The group followed Nami to the center of the temple. Upon seeing the steps, they immediately stopped moving and sat down by the pool, regardless of whether this was an altar or not.
"There's water here, and it looks pretty clean... Can I take a bath here?" Cassiopeia was exhausted, and after the battle, she just wanted to reward herself.
“No, the sect’s sacred pool cannot tolerate any form of defilement.” Larun paused for a moment, then firmly refused.
"Can I fetch some water to take a bath?"
"That won't work either, these pools of water are very useful."
Cassiopeia gave an annoyed snort: "I'm just curious, how do you usually spend your time here? Do you never take a bath in your entire life?"
“As long as you enter the temple, you will be protected by the moon goddess, you will not feel hungry, and you will not get dusty.” Laluen showed off her skirt: “I have been here for several years, but this skirt is still as good as new, even the silk is reflective.”
“It’s boring.” Cassiopeia shook her head. “No matter how beautiful a dress is, you’ll get tired of wearing it. It’s so boring if you can’t change it every day.”
"Changing clothes every day? That's too extravagant..." Laluen muttered to herself, unable to imagine such a wasteful lifestyle. But what could she do? The declining Moon Cult was short of supplies; these were already the best clothes the village had.
"If you want to take a bath, I can help you, or I can ask Nami to get you some water." Sephiroth joined the conversation with a wicked grin, clearly up to no good. Maybe a dragon's breath would send Cassiopeia flying into outer space.
"I don't want to soak in your saliva. Nami conjures seawater too, and my hair was salty after I washed it last time," Cassiopeia politely declined. Actually, this was the real reason she desperately wanted to take a bath.
Not being able to maintain her best condition at all times made her feel that her charm had diminished considerably, and Wild Hunt had definitely not touched her for this reason during this period, at least that's what she thought.
"Don't make wishes here. Don't forget this is the moon. It's already a blessing to have a temple for rest."
Kasha and the others also took their seats on the steps, relaxing and enjoying the tranquility. It was truly precious to find such a secluded spot where no one could disturb them.
"Alright, then tell me, what's the point of this pool? Don't tell me it's just a simple viewing platform." Kasha's persuasion made Cassiopeia give up on the idea of a pool, but she still wanted Larun to give her a reason to convince her.
"Actually..." Seeing that her biggest secret was about to be exposed, Laluen hesitated to leave. She had even deliberately erased the image before coming to greet the guest. But as soon as Cassiopeia arrived, she started asking all sorts of questions about the pool. She really was there to check the water meter.
"Actually what? Is there some unspeakable secret?" Laluen's appearance piqued Cassiopeia's interest. She was always very good at judging people, and at this moment, her accurate guess made Laluen tremble and give herself away.
"Why aren't you saying anything? Did I really hit the nail on the head?" Cassiopeia stared at Larun with a smile, her tone gentle and seductive, almost like coaxing and enticing. The Moon Maiden felt as if she were being watched by a venomous snake that kept flicking its tongue.
Such a strong sense of oppression! Laluen, who dared not meet their gaze, looked away with difficulty, only to find that everyone was also watching her with great interest as she gave her answer. After struggling with her mind for a while, she finally gave in.
"Alright, I can tell you, but you must not tell anyone else this secret."
Laluen sat down by the pool, gently stroking the water, and the scene at the foot of Mount Targon slowly emerged from the rippling water.
The spirits of the sun, moon, and stars are working together to fight a dragon beast engulfed in flames, preventing it from entering the sacred territory of the Solari sect, overturning the sacred sunstone, and polluting the mountain springs of the giant peak.
"Huh, what is this..." The group's attention was immediately drawn to the large screen that could broadcast live, which was indeed a very novel thing for them.
The group was so engrossed in watching that they were relieved that Laluen had escaped unscathed and hadn't immediately connected the dots.
Seeing that Cassiopeia had already taken out food and was eating while reading, Larun couldn't help but mutter, "This is too informal."
Soon, the others were inspired by Cassiopeia's enjoyment and each took out their favorite food to eat with the movie. Even Nami had someone to share food with, but only Larune's mouth was empty.
Larun feigned composure, telling herself there was nothing to envy. However, her eyes were already yearning, watching the beans in Cassiopeia's plate dwindle, and she could only watch anxiously.
Just then, Cassiopeia suddenly turned her head, and Larun looked away as if she had been electrocuted, but it was too late. Cassiopeia keenly caught her micro-expression and revealed a wicked smile.
Laluen thought Cassiopeia would tease her for being a gluttonous girl who had never seen the world, but all the teasing was condensed in that smile just now. Cassiopeia greeted her, "If you want some, come closer and I can share some with you."
"Hmm..." Laluen hesitated for a moment, but in the end she couldn't resist the temptation and sat down next to Kathyopea.
She didn't recognize the beans in the plate, but they seemed to be fried; they were fragrant and crispy, and she ate them with great relish. The people the Wild Hunt brought didn't seem too difficult to get along with; they didn't make things difficult for her and even knew to share their food.
Just as she was gradually relaxing and immersing herself in the joy of the delicious food and sharing, Cassiopeia suddenly whispered in her ear, "Tell me all your little secrets. You must use this pool to look at some shady things when no one's around. Don't worry, I promise I won't tell anyone."
"..." Laluen's hand trembled, and she completely lost her composure. She was utterly shocked, thinking to herself how this woman was like a ghost, using one trick after another to completely manipulate people.
Chapter 641 Sisters Reunited
The relentless fighting can easily become tedious. Kaisa pulled her attention away from the screen, glanced at Kayle behind her who was wrapped up like a dumpling and unable to move, and then raised two fingers to her temples.
As her spirit continued to spread, the Wild Hunt also received her call.
"Wild Hunt, what are you going to do with Kyle?"
"Send it to Morgana as originally planned. I believe she will be deeply moved to see her sister again."
Seeing that Wild Hunt had no intention of going into details, Kasha didn't want to pry into his affairs either, and asked instead, "When are we going back to the seabed?"
The "death" of Mount Targon is a foregone conclusion, and obtaining Moonstones will not be so easy in the future. If the rift is not sealed now, there will be endless troubles in the future.
"You guys can rest for a bit and wait for Leona and Diana. They also want to experience the terror of the Void. They'll go with you after this is over." (Are you free, Yongyong? Lin Zaizai?)
"Hmph, don't be a deserter when the time comes."
Kayle and Zoe's personal conduct has lowered Kai'Sa's opinion of the Protoss community. She already dislikes these agents of the Titans, and who knows what problems the Protoss power within them might cause.
Afterwards, Kayle was also transferred by the Wild Hunt to Morgana's cave. Nami, on the other hand, continued to stay with Kai'Sa and the others, following the Moonstone wherever it went.
As the restraints loosened and were gradually peeled away, Kyle found himself seemingly blind... not blind, but rather in a completely dark place.
Whispers came from the darkness not far away. The restraints seemed to have a sound-isolating effect. This was the first time she had heard any sound other than her own heartbeat since she had been locked in the darkness.
"You're very good at torture. Can I trust you? If you can't, then she has no value in living."
"My torment is to make the sinner repent and start anew. Please rest assured, I will definitely make her a better version of herself."
Kyle disagreed with the conversation in the dark. She believed that sinners should be severely punished, not to reform them, but to serve as a warning to other innocent people.
Once she realized that she was the so-called "culprit," her anger flared up as she wanted to defend herself, but she chose to remain silent after realizing that the other party could not represent justice.
The whispers gradually subsided, replaced by heavy breathing, a sound that stirred a tantalizing urge in the listener. The sounds of flesh colliding and fluids exchanging made Kyle frown, inexplicably recalling the adulterers she had once tried for adultery.
To gather concrete evidence, she would often force her way in during the perpetrator's actions, so she was quite familiar with such scenes. Even in complete darkness, she could hear the sounds and trace the obscene scenes in her mind—this was deductive reasoning.
Judging from that mature voice, Kyle could tell that the woman was over thirty, the age when she was most sexually active. Moreover, she was voluptuous, at least with large breasts and a plump bottom, because the friction sound was very dull. Only with full and plump buttocks could they fit together tightly without leaving any gaps, sealing off the embarrassing squelching sound of air being squeezed.
The varying frequencies of her panting breaths with each tremor proved that she was completely absorbed in the act, oblivious to her presence. Even Kyle had to admit that this woman possessed an exceptionally beautiful body.
Men say women are good at tormenting, and Kyle's first impression was that the woman's face must be sharp and mean. But the woman didn't like to scream, so she was obviously the quiet and reserved type who only showed her frightening side when tormenting others.
Chains… there was even the sound of chains! Kyle hadn't expected this kind of play. By the synchronization of the chains and the panting, she deduced that the chains were on a woman, someone who was submissive. Pain and pleasure are two-way links; since she could derive pleasure from pain, it wasn't surprising that she thought redemption could be achieved through torture.
However, she quickly dismissed her deduction based on the woman's appearance, because the woman claimed she tormented others to force them to repent. It's said that one's appearance reflects one's heart, and she couldn't imagine how such a sharp-tongued face could utter such words so calmly.
The woman's face then shifted in her mind, finally settling on a sorrowful and pitying countenance, as if she believed that torment based on this could truly "heal" sinners. Pity stemmed from her desire to "heal" sinners, while sorrow arose from the sheer amount of evil she saw in them.
Could there really be such a person? For some reason, Kyle suddenly thought of someone and felt a surge of unease.
The restraints binding him remained in place, leaving Kyle unable to move and forced to endure the long and drawn-out love scene.
Finally, it was over. The woman let out a long, satisfied moan, then sucked and licked for a while. Just by listening, you could tell that she had cleaned herself very thoroughly.
The flames suddenly blazed, the sudden stimulation causing Kyle to squint involuntarily. The dark purple flames weren't bright; instead, they resembled a flowing shadow, illuminating only a radius of a few dozen centimeters around them.
Kyle could only see a hand, which held flames but could not illuminate the entire figure. He could only vaguely see a woman slowly walking towards him, making the sound of chains being dragged.
Soon, the woman came to his side. The firelight suddenly brightened, enveloping the woman's figure in its illumination, and then Kyle saw a face he would never forget, even if he turned to ashes.
“Mo… Morgana? Even you…” Kyle wanted to question her about why she was here, but when he saw the fine beads of sweat on her bare chest, he knew that she had followed in the footsteps of the Sun, Moon and Star Spirits.
"Are you surprised to see me here, sister?" Morgana casually tossed the flame toward the candlestick and began to untie Kayle from her restraints.
"Heh." Seeing that Morgana could control the black tentacles to release themselves, Kyle smiled with relief: "With a daughter like you, your mother in heaven probably won't rest in peace."
"And what about our father? He must have passed away peacefully, right?" Kyle sensed the sarcasm in Morgana's words, instantly recalling his father who died with his eyes wide open, and fell silent again.
The tragic and innocent death of their father, which marked the end of their relationship, became an insurmountable obstacle for both sisters. Humanity can be discarded, but those emotionally charged memories cannot be erased.
She remained silent, like a convicted war criminal, quietly awaiting her trial. It wasn't until Morgana chained her hands that Kyle panicked.
"What are you trying to do?!"
Morgana's movements as she bound the chains were as gentle as if she were bandaging a wound, and her voice was full of boundless compassion: "I'm protecting you, my sister."
Chapter 642 Lux's Mission
"Are you crazy? I heard everything! That man wants me to submit, and I won't submit! So in the end, he'll kill me! If you want to save me, let me go right now! Right now!"
As death loomed, Kyle struggled violently, the chains clanging and rattling. Morgana flicked her wrist, and the chains instantly ignited with shadowy flames, causing Kyle excruciating pain and eliciting a beautiful scream.
This shares the same origin as her sacred flame, both being flames that burn sinners, only their mechanisms differ. It works by returning the pain inflicted on others to the sinners themselves, causing them to experience the pain firsthand and ultimately suffer a mental breakdown.
Countless sinners died under the Judgment of Kyle, many of whom were tragically burned to death in the sacred fire.
These pains are of exceptionally high quality and quantity. Once they are combined, the level of suffering becomes unimaginable, as if one has been thrown directly into the deepest part of hell and endured ten thousand times the torment of being boiled in oil.
“You can’t leave, Kyle, and I won’t let you go either.” The torment had already exhausted Kyle in an instant, and Morgana tenderly lifted her disheveled white head and gently placed it on her chest.
“Behind me lies a nation on the brink of collapse, and you are destroying the hard-won stability. Letting you go would be irresponsible to the others.”
"What nonsense are you talking about? I watched them create a huge mess with my own eyes; they're the ones causing all the damage!"
Kyle couldn't understand what Morgana was saying, nor did he understand why Morgana was holding her head up to her chest and talking to herself.
"Don't be afraid. No matter what the cost, even if it means sacrificing your body, I will save you. After all... you are my only remaining family."
"So, never let down the opportunity your master has given you, and never let down my efforts. I will try my best to make you a better person."
Morgana's words were full of selflessness, but Kyle felt no emotion at all; instead, he shuddered with fear.
This person is using the gentlest words to convey coercion, knowing full well that Kyle is upright and incorruptible, yet forcing her to choose the path of submission, acting as if they are doing it for her own good, under the guise of saving Kyle.
Morgana thinks Kyle is obsessed, and Kyle also thinks Morgana is becoming increasingly obsessed, unable to extricate herself from her self-indulgent role-playing, believing that everyone needs her "salvation".
The thought of being tamed into a docile lamb like her sister, foolishly and unknowingly becoming an accomplice of evil forces in a brothel, made Kyle feel that she might as well just smash her head against a wall and die.
However, she could do nothing to resist and could only whimper in protest, because Morgana buried her face in her soft, sweaty breasts, covering her tightly as if trying to suffocate her so she couldn't speak.
In the darkness, she still couldn't see the figure of the so-called "master".
The sisters' "tenderness" lasted for a long time, but it could not compare to the separation of hundreds of years. Before that, they were no different from each other being dead.
"Madam, were you looking for me?" Morgana held the other person close to her chest, only releasing Kayle when Lux found the secret room. (The rest of the text appears to be gibberish and unrelated to the initial question.)
The light in the girl's hand dispelled the darkness. Morgana turned her head and glanced at her, while Kyle seized the opportunity, took a deep breath, and fiercely scolded, "You reek of a disgusting, wicked stench!"
The so-called stench was nothing more than the smell of sweat from intimate intercourse and other ambiguous scents. Morgana not only didn't find it smelly, but actually found it quite appealing, and replied nonchalantly, "I'll get you used to it as soon as possible."
She left out the second half of her sentence; what she really wanted was for Kyle to get used to the Wild Hunt's atmosphere as quickly as possible so that he wouldn't be so resistant when something like that happened in the future.
Then, in front of Lux, Morgana gagged Kayle with a cloth and led Lux out of the secret room.
The stone door slowly closed behind her. Lux stiffened and lowered her head, afraid of being punished for accidentally seeing something she shouldn't have.
During her time serving Morgana, Lux had come to know that our Veiled Mother, the Dark Lady, was a person of strict justice. She was usually gentle and amiable, but once someone crossed the line, she would transform into the most stern elder.
"Lux, you've been here for a while now, and you're still as reckless as ever."
"I thought it was dark inside, so I assumed no one was there... I'm so sorry, ma'am! I promise I won't do it again!"
“Fine, I won’t pursue this matter this time.” Morgana shook her head. “I asked you to come because that person gave the order; he specifically asked you to do something.”
"Me? What is it?" Lux paused for a moment, then looked up at Morgana, instinctively trying to confirm whether it was true by looking at the other's expression.
For some reason, she felt that Morgana was more feminine than usual today.
Her clothes were half-open, and her exposed skin was glowing and radiant. Even her slightly squinted eyes were filled with a dreamy look.
And all of this was because of that person. It was his arrival that made Morgana different; otherwise, her lady would never have been so easy to talk to.
Lux was mesmerized until Morgana spoke up, bringing her back to her senses: "He wants you to go to Mithril City and bring Sona over. Perfect timing, your home is in Mithril City, so go home and let them know you're safe."
"Sona..." Lux's heart skipped a beat, thinking that the person had actually set their sights on someone she knew.
Sona is Lady Lestara's adopted daughter and Kasina's sister. Kasina, in turn, is Lux's best friend.
Why did the two become best friends? The reason is quite simple.
Since Lady Lestara was Lux's mentor who guided her to join the Illuminators, and her deceased husband was the previous Grand Marshal, while Lux's aunt is the current Grand Marshal, it is quite normal for the two families to be close.
"Is it really appropriate for me to do something like this?" Lux said, trying to avoid the situation. She really didn't want to personally send her best friend's sister into a den of thieves.
