"Trying to escape? Did you ask me first?" Kayn stepped down the steps through the blood, surrounding Jun from behind like a grim reaper blocking the door.

"Our Wuji Sword Sect lives in seclusion and has no grudge against you. Why did you kill us?!" Jun questioned angrily, her sword trembling as she gripped it tightly.

"What kind of reputable sect is it to hoard Darkin weapons? Tell me where they are, and then obediently prepare to die," Kayn replied with a cold laugh, making no attempt to hide the greed in his eyes.

What? Jun's eyes widened, and the chain sickle her master had brought back a few days ago instantly flashed through her mind. But she simply couldn't believe that her usually kind and gentle master would do such a thing.

Filled with rage, she roared and charged at Kayn without regard for anything else. They clashed, their swords flashing in the air.

Kayn could tell from Jun's reaction that she knew where the Darkin weapon was hidden, and that her swordsmanship did indeed have some merit. He became interested for a moment and did not kill her.

While Jun was struggling to hold on, Wuji's disciples fell one after another. Soon, she was the only one left in the arena, only because Kaiyin deliberately held back, sparing her life to lead the way.

"Tell me now, and I might spare your life." The Shadow Stream surrounded Jun like a pack of wolves. The alpha wolf, Kayn, carried a giant scythe, a bloodthirsty smile on his lips, as if he were enjoying a good show of his prey's death throes.

"You inhuman beast! I'd rather die than tell!" At this moment, Jun was seriously injured and could only use her sword to prop herself up on the ground to keep from falling. Even so, she never thought of betraying her sect and living a cowardly life.

"Since you're so eager to die, then I'll grant your wish."

Kayn raised his giant scythe high, and just then, a sword light too fast for the naked eye to see flashed into the battlefield. Kayn quickly raised his scythe to block, only to feel a numbness in his arm. When he came to his senses, his men around him fell like harvested rice.

"You beast!" Yi was so angry that his hair and beard trembled. He gripped his sword with both hands and slashed at the giant scythe. The terrifying pressure forced Kayn to retreat repeatedly.

He finally arrived at the scene, but it was too late. Apart from him and Jun, the entire Wuji Sword Sect had been slaughtered.

Today is just like that moment back then. Those familiar corpses on the ground seem to be mocking him once again, mocking his inability to protect those around him, a cursed lone star.

"You do have some skill. It seems you're the leader here." Kayn was terrified as he looked at the swordsman wearing the kaleidoscope helmet, but he didn't show any weakness in his words.

If it weren't for the fact that the Darkin weapon was invincible, he would have been decapitated by that sword strike just now, and wouldn't have been able to react at all.

"How dare you, you mere brat, bully me so much! The Wuji Sword Dao forbids killing and bloodshed the most, and today you have forced me to break this taboo once again! Don't think you can get away with it just by hiding behind that giant scythe with your back to Shadow Stream. Blood for blood, I swear to kill you!"

"Good, good! Kill this brat quickly, and from now on this body will be mine!" Seeing the two locked in a fierce confrontation, Laaste was happy to fan the flames and watch the show.

"Shut up! You idiot, I won't let you have your way!" Kayn gritted his teeth and cursed. He couldn't even trust his own weapon and was completely at a disadvantage. But the more difficult the situation, the more his potential was brought out.

He activated shadow magic, transforming into pure darkness that dissolved into the air. He then swept across the blood-stained cobblestone path, rapidly circling Yi, searching for his weakness. (The last two lines appear to be random characters and are left untranslated.)

To his surprise, Yi started meditating and chanting incantations right in front of him, the assassin. Although his feet were in the air, which looked very elegant, wasn't he just deliberately exposing his weakness to him?

Kayn felt slighted and angrily reappeared behind Yi, swinging his giant scythe. However, Yi was already waiting for him.

The swordsman remained motionless in his meditation, yet his body erupted with several sword shadows that transformed into phantoms wielding swords and attacked him.

Kayn was attacked from both sides and hurriedly raised his giant scythe to block, but he was still hit by the slash and retreated wounded.

He touched his bleeding chest and stared at Yi with a wary look, while the sword wounds on his body healed at a visible speed under the enhancement of the Darkborn weapon.

Kayn is currently the only person to have successfully resisted the Darkin invasion.

He and Rhaast each possessed half of this body, which allowed him to use Shadow Magic from the Shadowstream and Blood Magic from the Darkin.

In return, his upper body was transformed into a monstrous, scaly creature.

However, both he and Laaste are vying for control of their bodies, and sooner or later one of them will devour the other and be completely transformed.

Yi opened his eyes and saw the strange condition on Kayn's body through the kaleidoscope, knowing that the battle would not end anytime soon.

With an almost frightening calmness, he said to Jun behind him, "You can't hold on much longer. Quickly retreat to the temple to find some medicine to heal your wounds. Your master will avenge you."

“Yes…” Jun believed her master, glared at Kayn resentfully, then limped up the steps with her sword in hand and headed into the temple.

"Where do you think you're going?!" Kayn had no intention of letting any of them live from the very beginning, and immediately disappeared into the shadows, rushing towards Jun's back.

The Wuji Sword Sect lives in seclusion. As long as he goes all out, his master will not know that he has secretly acquired another Darkin weapon, and he will be able to surpass Zed and become the new leader of the Shadow Stream.

Chapter 356 Darkborn Assemble

Kayn's body disappeared into the shadows as he sped away, attempting to catch up with Jun, who was trying to escape.

However, to his surprise, Yi's sword could even strike his shadow, directly knocking him back to his original form from the Shadow Step.

Those sword lights were formed by Yi's manipulation of magic in the spiritual realm, not illusions seen with the naked eye. Each sword strike was a condensation of his millions of practiced slashes.

Kayn was wounded again, collapsing on the steps, clutching his bleeding wound. He was held back by Yi, watching helplessly as the girl escaped, and could only choose to deal with the battle at hand first.

"Is that all you've got? I really misjudged you," Laaste sneered, his single red eye slowly closing, as if he had already foreseen the outcome of this battle.

"Shut up! If you don't want to turn back into a weapon, then get your wounds healed!"

Kayn retorted angrily, but Yi in front of him didn't give him the chance.

Yi transformed into a blur and rushed out. Kayn realized that this was a deadly move, so he summoned shadow magic again and plunged into the body of a nearby corpse.

Yi swept across the entire area in an instant, like the changing of seasons, leaving only the traces he left behind to confirm his presence. In a flash, he returned to the same spot, perfectly still, his sword already sheathed.

Kayn, still shaken, burst out of the corpse. He was certain that if he hadn't crawled inside Yi's disciple's body, he would have been torn to pieces by now. He survived only because of Yi's respect for the dead.

Yi's silence carried a terrifying resolve; he was willing to sacrifice the blessing on his sword to kill him.

Kayn was overwhelmed by the relentless attacks and could only use shadow magic to move among the corpses, allowing Rhaast to absorb the flesh and blood from them to heal his wounds.

Each time it burst through the chest, the corpse behind it was drained and twisted into a black, hard shell by blood magic, before being shattered into countless fragments and crystalline dust. Mei Youyongyong is busy, Lin Zaizai is not here...

The two temporarily set aside their differences, joined forces, and fought with increasing ferocity, gradually becoming more and more adept at wielding Master Yi's sword...

……

Jun arrived at the temple leaning on her sword, but she did not take the medicine to heal her wounds as her master had instructed.

She could sense that she was dying; even if she took the medication, she would collapse before it took effect and ultimately die.

Thinking of her fellow disciples who had died tragically before her eyes, Jun was overcome with grief and coughed up a mouthful of blood in the temple.

She knelt before the statue of the Spirit of Infinity, intending to use her own blood to write a list of sins in the final moments of her life, so that the spirits of the ancestors in heaven could punish these sinners and make them pay the price.

Just as she was about to take action, a gentle whisper, as soft as spring rain, suddenly entered her mind.

"You will never die...because I will never let you die..."

Jun was stunned for a moment, thinking it was the ancestral master appearing, or a hallucination before she died, and then she forced herself to stand up.

But when she followed the sound, she discovered that it was the blood-red chain sickle that her master had brought back.

“Power…you need power…and I can give you power…”

"Just pick it up... all you need to do is pick it up..."

Jun kept her master's warning firmly in mind: she must not touch this strange weapon.

But the horrific scene of her fellow disciples being slaughtered lingered in her mind, and the image of her master fighting the enemy not far away was still vivid in her mind... In the end, only two words remained in her mind.

revenge.

She had no choice but to release her grip on the sword and reach for the blood-red chain scythe in front of her.

The instant they touched, the chains of the chain sickle seemed to come alive, tightly binding Jun's arm, secreting purplish-red blood that enveloped her entire body, transforming into spikes and flesh armor. Her short brown hair lost its color, turning into a sharp, pale head.

A powerful force instantly stripped Jun of her will and brought her into a new life through her body.

Jun is gone. Now, only Zolani remains.

Zolani slowly walked out of the temple, a pair of curved scythes hanging below her arms, swaying gently.

Yi and Kayn both looked at the blood-red figure on the steps and were so shocked that they stopped fighting at the same time.

"How could it be you!!!" Rhaast roared, his single red eye revealing a ferocious look, radiating a monstrous rage.

He never expected that out of so many Darkin kin, he would run into Zolani, the traitor, and that she had already gained a body, making her someone he, a half-finished product trapped in a human body, could not defeat.

"Hurry up and leave, we don't need the Darkin weapons!" Rhaast urged Kayn to leave, looking terrified.

"Why run? I'm on fire right now." Kayn's face instantly darkened, showing utter disdain for Rhaast's cowardly act.

"This time the situation is special. If you don't leave, we're both doomed!"

Rhaast roared hysterically, a fear even Kayn had never seen him so terrified. Recalling their previous interactions, Rhaast had always wished him dead, yet this time he was unusually urging him to run for his life… Kayn didn't believe Rhaast was some arrogant character, and finding this suspicious, he could only do as he was told and run for the time being.

"Damn it! I'll let you off the hook for today!"

Yi watched Kayn disappear into the shadows and flee. He hesitated for a moment and did not chase after him. Instead, he turned back to look at Zolani, who had reached the middle of the steps. He recognized that the figure was Jun in disguise.

"Jun'er, is that you?" Yi asked tentatively, his voice trembling.

His response was met with an extremely cold voice, as if from a complete stranger.

"Yes and no... She gave her body to me, and in return, I will wipe out all the Dark Ones in this world for her." Zolani said expressionlessly as she walked past Yi.

She arrived at the blood-stained training ground, raised her hands and clenched them into fists. Under the influence of blood magic, the remaining corpses on the ground turned into a torrent of flesh and blood and were completely absorbed into her body.

Then, she turned her head slightly, her sharp profile facing Yi, who looked horrified.

"For Jun's sake, I'll spare your life. You'd better watch yourself."

After saying that, Zolani continued down the mountain with an invincible air. Yi, on the other hand, was in complete chaos and no longer knew what he could do.

Thus, this undeserved disaster came to an end.

……

As one act ends, another begins. Aatrox, far across the ocean, senses Zoranny's resurrection through the connection between the Darkin.

This discovery filled him with shock and rage, driving him to madness, where he roared to the heavens.

Zoranny is one of the culprits who framed the Darkin and trapped them in weapons, causing them to endure nearly a thousand years of darkness.

Even if he could steal a human body, it would only be a cage slightly larger than a greatsword.

His constantly crumbling physical body was ultimately no match for even a fraction of the power of an ascended being! It only filled him with endless shame and despair!

The Icathian traitor who caused all these consequences will pay a heavy price!

To this end, he did not hesitate to summon all the Darkin once again, launching a final war that would drag all creation into it.

Chapter 357 The target is Icathia

Kai'Sa and the others passed through the portal opened by the Wild Hunt and arrived at Cassiopeia's mansion, completing their transfer from Freljord to Shurima.

"Welcome back." Cassiopeia was already waiting on the side. Today, she had taken the advice and specially dressed in a maid outfit to give them face.

The maid outfit has a low neckline, revealing her full breasts. The fitted design accentuates her slender waist. She wears sheer black stockings and high heels. Most importantly, the bottom is open, so you can see everything by simply lifting the skirt.

To be honest, the Wild Hunt didn't really train Cassiopeia much; she was basically tamed by herself, trying to become a product that pleased her master.

However, the scene got a little out of control this time. There were more people than Cassiopeia had expected, and being stared at by so many eyes made her feel a little shy. She rubbed her arms uncomfortably, which only made her chest feel even more ample.

"Where is Lady Soleanna?" Kasha stared at Cassiopeia with a scrutinizing gaze, her eyes filled with vigilance.

Sephiroth showed an interested expression, Portil made no attempt to hide the disgust on his face, while Talia gave an awkward, dry laugh.

“I’ve already sent her away beforehand; it’ll just be us for the next few days,” Cassiopeia replied with a forced smile.

"So you're wearing this?" Kasha asked a more pointed question.

"This house is so big and I have to take care of it all. Isn't it normal for me to wear a maid outfit and do housework?" Cassiopeia was really going all out. She even turned around to show off, and the view under her skirt was about to fly out.

"..." Kasha hesitated, swallowing those four words back. Since Cassiopeia had already done this, she could only comply.

"So, are you planning to have dinner first, or wash up first?" Cassie continued to maintain her impeccable smile with her alluring, snake-like face.

What she did this time was indeed a bit outrageous, but after abandoning her sense of shame, she felt an unprecedented sense of exhilaration and was almost certain that she would soon gain the Wild Hunt's favor.

"No, I want to hear your intelligence. What did you see in Shurima?" Kai'Sa sat down on the sofa, acting like the lady of the house.

"That works too, I just happened to have some ideas. Please wait a moment."

Cassiopeia turned and left the reception room, returning shortly after with a map, which she spread out on the table.

"This is the map of Runeterra that Noxus has been able to explore so far." Wild Hunt glanced at it; the map was much larger than he had ever known.

The version of the map he knew had the Shadow Isles at its easternmost point, but this version even included the ancient kingdom of Kamavia, which is further east of the Shadow Isles, as well as the surrounding area.

However, the boundary line that included parts of Shurima within Noxus territory was somewhat jarring to Kai'Sa, a Shuriman.

“This is the eyewitness information I’ve gathered about Naganeka,” Cassiopeia said, pointing to a light yellow patch of land east of the Immortal Fortress on the map. “She started from the eastern plains of Noxus, crossed the sea, and traveled south through Belgun.”

"And then?" Cassiopeia leaned forward, her buttocks sticking out completely, her short skirt barely covering her, even her cleft was exposed to the air. However, seeing that she was seriously reporting the situation, Kasha pretended not to notice.

“A straight line is the shortest route to the destination. Knowing this, we can assume that Naganeka is traveling in a straight line…” Cassiopeia casually plucked a hair, stretched it into a straight line in her hand, and then let it pass through the Eastern Plains and Bergun. She continued, “Now we can see directly that the point where the hair passes is Naganeka’s destination.”

Wild Hunt looked in the direction the hair extended and noticed a spot that caught his attention.

"Icathia".

"Icathia? What are those Darkin doing there?"

Kai'Sa frowned deeply. She knew that Icathia was the origin of the Void, and she had even spent some time underground there. However, she had only ever stayed on the periphery and had never ventured deep inside, so she had no idea what it was like there.
